Did some doodling today…mostly playing around with palettes and trying to nail down Abby’s overall design a little better. I think they’re perpetually wet like ish, but to a slightly lesser degree. More “freshly showered” and less “walking slip hazard”.

Still figuring out what all their whole deal is but everyone here is a hot mess one way or another, I know that much

Dungeon Meshi is extremely, extremely, extremely good, and the first episode hasn't missed a beat. Anime bullshit is nil. Fighterman is indeed autistic and the early narrative is largely him finally getting to explore a special interest he's been told not to talk about for years. And as far as horny goes... honestly there is DEFINITELY a horny undercurrent but in a "earnest undercurrent of eroticism" kind of way as opposed to a "KYAAAA~" kind of way. Tastefully horny, with the only character to ever get upskirts being Senshi the Dwarf, as one very clear example.

And, all of this is happening in a story that is written to be at once full on laugh out loud funny, but built on a framework that betrays an obsessive worldbuilder's long term fascination with ecology and cuisine filtered through the lens of D&D fantasy. Action is really good, characters are each fantastic in their own way, overarching narrative is super interesting- honestly, I can't recommend it enough. As you say, now that the anime is a thing, I'd say you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by giving it a shot. If it's not for you that's all good, but I think you're a lot more likely to love it than to not.

I'm sorry for being inactive but I assure you I'll answer the asks in the near future when I'll figure my mess out, but for now I'd like to show you the thing I made a while ago but wasn't showing to much people due to different concerns.

I am a big fan of virtual worlds concept for different reasons - starting from the endless possibilities of exploring the forgotten realms and ending at literally bringing your characters to life! So I decided oneday that I want to bring Ebb into Second Life (not VRchat because I don't quite like the fact that threre's no in-game editor).

So uh, I made it.

Yes, he is anthro because I need dem hands to throw around (and also because I am an irredimable furry). But here he is, the pre-fall-from-grace version, a bit grumpy and tired as well, but can you blame the guy for ending up in the most heavy duty guild?

The Snowmageddon expected was way overexaggerated of what would be on the ground early this morning. By noon though, all bets were off. Sent home early with pay. Time to sip some spices and heat!

Sorry guys, I am too stressed out and busy to answer all of the questions atm but I am trying to draw to at least get rid of this stress.

I drew pre-fall Ebb as a human because I (and others too) was wondering of what he'd be like. Despite him being in his late 20's and early 30's and wearing pretty dapper and expensive clothes - you still could see tiredness already affecting his face - yet he is not aware as of what's awaiting for him in the future and how drastically he'll change....

... Then I've got bored and started doodling other stuff. Iterations, lots of them! Also, glukkons flexing with crazy, dumb and goofy footwear (just google it, I swear!) is my headcanon now and I'm gonna die on this hill.

Haven’t been on tumblr much lately as I am an adult who occasionally experiences existential nihilism like why do i like tumblr/reddit/insta. Boredom

Recent news:

Had a talk with my parents about draining my bank and savings accounts. Got to keep ALL of my current paycheck so far (only 1 week to go!). Put $250 towards my credit card and $400 into my savings. Planning on paying for a driving course because I spend ~$250/wk on rideshare getting to/from work and by now I could have a whole ass car with that money.

On downside I’ve been working a 60hr workweek so I’m not sure if I’m gonna be able to take said driving classes anytime soon, since I work during their open hours.

On the oddside there is a painter who comes to my workplace on occasion who wants to paint me along with his tarot card series. His work is really good but he’s also a freemason and in my experience a lot of masons are just straight up dubious, if not outright malicious, people
