Saitama's growth

Saitama has grown a lot during the series, one of the occasions being in the latest chapter 209 - Shopping, when he and Genos talk about groceries and on sale items. Genos tells him he managed to snag AAA battery sales item and instead of pouting or getting upset that he missed said item, Saitama instead laughs raucously that it happened. Saitama has Genos to thank for, his presence is a salve to Saitama's need for social contact. Saitama acts more free whenever he's around Genos, showing he is very comfortable in Genos' presence.

Another such occasion to showcase his growth is the intro to newest chapter 209, where he defeats an enemy with a smile on his face and he immediately goes grocery shopping, not getting upset that he monster again wasn't much to talk about as an enemy. He has grown past requiring an enemy to be super strong for him to defeat and the callback to the first chapter is plain to see in the image.

A third such occasion is when he calls King to game with him shows that he's much less of a loner, even if he called King just to escape from Sonic, Flashy flash and Genos. He also invites Manako to eat curry with him on occasion and will offer Blast some tea whenever the man comes calling.

Saitama's continuing growth is fun to read, even in small bite sized pieces.
