funny thing about ai art is that it really is a product of its training data. I remember back when it first started to be a *thing* my CS profs were encouraging us to play around with it, and me being the person I am, I was trying to get it to come up with Cats designs/fanart/characters/anything, but none of the websites I used really seemed to comprehend what 'Cats the musical character' meant, and describing the costumes themselves always led to anime catgirls. literally the second 'cat' and 'woman' entered the same prompt you got anime catgirls. 'feline facepaint' was always interpreted as either a wholeass animal-cat head or clown shit. they were always wearing clothes no matter how clearly i specified they were in unitards. Like, Cats is hardly the weirdest most visually inventive thing on the whole planet and yet AI art seemingly couldnt even conceive of the idea. Cant believe people who insist these kind of things have human-like capabilities.
