Apparently, Children, and Click: gloria ID# 67948 @ Manhattan ACC Glorla is a cute Ittle grey mouse who loves to be in company. She is al wiggly at her door, leashed in no time and ready for treats and fun. A little sweetheart in need of TLC as her past might not have been a "piece of cake" 5 yrs old 45 lbs TO BE KILLED 8/22/19 ~ Gray beauty Gloria is still here! How could you resist those ears! ~ A $500 stipend will be offered to the New Hope partner that pulls Gloria. Meet Gloria! This fun loving, social gal is looking for her forever family! A volunteer writes: Gloria is a cute little grey mouse who loves to be in company. She is all wiggly at her door, leashed in no time and ready for treats and fun. She can jump really high for liver bits, and sit, too. This will make training quite easy. Gloria is an enthusiastic walker, but being quite small and light, a gentle lead will just do the trick for a pleasant stroll. I was told that she was a sweetheart, and a stop by a bench showed me that she was a perfect girlfriend! Gloria needs TLC as her past might not have been a "piece of cake". Your caring and loving hands are what Gloria has been waiting all her life for. Come and meet her soon at the Manhattan Care Center! MY MOVIE: Gloria wants to be your friend https://youtu.be/H_QK2n7K0M0 GLORIA, ID# 67948, 5 yrs old, 45 lbs (34.4 lbs at Intake), Manhattan Animal Care Center, Medium Mixed Breed Cross, Gray Female, Found Stray Shelter Assessment Rating: LEVEL 3 No children (under 13) Medical Behavior Rating: BEHAVIOR NOTES Means of surrender (length of time in previous home): Stray Behavior toward strangers: finders report her as friendly Bite history: Yes - due to Mouthiness/poor bite inhibition. During an adoption interaction Gloria became excited and began mouthing the adopter. She jumped up and bit the adopter's hand, resulting in broken skin. SAFER ASSESSMENT: Date of assessment: 6-Jul-2019 Summary: Leash Walking Strength and pulling: Moderate Reactivity to humans: None Reactivity to dogs: None Leash walking comments: None Sociability Loose in room (15-20 seconds): Highly social Call over: Approaches readily Sociability comments: Body soft, jumps up gently Handling Soft handling: Seeks contact Exuberant handling: Seeks contact Handling comments: Body soft, jumps up, leans in Arousal Jog: Follows (loose) Arousal comments: None Knock: Approaches (loose) Knock Comments: None Toy: No response Toy comments: None PLAYGROUP NOTES - DOG TO DOG SUMMARIES: Due to arrival as a stray, Gloria's history around dogs is unknown. At the care center, Gloria was polite and calm when introduced to the helper dog. Most recently, she has appeared more tense and uncomfortable around other dogs. Future introductions and follow up around dogs may be best conducted outside of a shelter environment. 7/3: When introduced off leash to the male helper dog, Gloria greets politely. 7/7-10: Today, Gloria is tense and corners the other dogs. ENERGY LEVEL: We have no history on Gloria so we cannot be certain of her behavior in a home environment. However, she is a young, enthusiastic, social dog who will need daily mental and physical activity to keep her engaged and exercised. We recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and hide-and-seek games, in additional to physical exercise, to positively direct her energy and enthusiasm. IN SHELTER OBSERVATIONS: 8/12: Charges the kennel growling, baring teeth, and snaps repeatedly when approach in kennel. Once out of kennel, grabs leash in mouth. 8/4 Gloria was observed to growl, lunge, and snap towards a handler when he was attempting to remove her from her kennel. BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION: Level 3 Behavior Asilomar TM - Treatable-Manageable Recommendations: No children (under 13) Recommendations comments: No children: Gloria takes treats extremely hard and bites down on fingers by accident. She also becomes overly mouthy when excited to the point that she broke a skin on a person's hand. For these reasons, we recommend an adult only home. Potential challenges: Social hyperarousal Mouthiness/poor bite inhibition Bite history (human) Potential challenges comments: Mouthiness/poor bite inhibition: Gloria takes treats extremely enthusiastically and bites down very hard on fingers by accident when getting fed by hand. Treats should be tossed on the ground instead. She has also become mouthy when excited and bitten down with hard pressure, breaking skin on one occasion. Please see handout on Mouthiness/poor bite inhibition. Social hyperarousal: Gloria becomes very excited around people, jumping up and mouthing them. She has at times used hard pressure when mouthing. Please see handout on Arousal. Bite history (human): Gloria becomes excited and mouthy during an adoption interaction, biting the adopter's hand and breaking skin. Please see handout on Bite History. Being Alone, Bones, and Cats: 63806-3hjears pld, 71 lbs Spike Good looking, playful, loves his toys, lived in harmony with children, housetrained Handsome Spike is at Manhattan ACC waiting for his Happy Ever After Toad ally LovabL TO BE KILLED 6/4/19 in NYC "SPIKE IS AN INDOOR DOG who enjoys sleeping inside indoor/outdoor patio area," his owners told the intake staff at the dog pound shortly before signing him over to them. Well there is no such area at the shelter. Spike will spend most of his time in a kennel and that's just until they decide his time is up, and we all know that can come pretty quickly in New York City. Spike will be added to the euth list at that time, given 48 hours to find a new home and family or they will kill him. Spike is just 3 years old and he's been dumped at the shelter because he's "not a fit." That means his former family thinks he's too big. So should he die for that? Of course not. He shouldn't even have lost his home for that but we aren't going to go there right now because Spike's life and safety is our top priority. This hunky gray boy already lived in harmony with three children, one of them just 11 months old, and it's said that Spike was friendly and outgoing. He's very housetrained (we all know thats a plus) and he loves his toys. Spike is out of time at the shelter and badly in need of a hero with a soft spot for good looking muscle head pibbles. Please help us share Spike to the moon and back. We know his happy ever after is out there somewhere. SPIKE@MANHATTAN ACC Hello, my name is Spike My animal id is #63806 I am a male gray dog at the Manhattan Animal Care Center The shelter thinks I am about 3 years old, 71 lbs Came into shelter as a owner surrender May 24, 2019 Reason Stated: NOT A FIT - Too big :( Spike is at risk for behavioral reasons. Spike has remained fearful in the care center and has shown distance increasing behaviors and is said to resource guard. Spike would be best suited for placement with a new hope partner that can provide the necessary behavior modification. Medically, Spike seems healthy. My medical notes are... Weight: 71.4 lbs L V T Notes Vet Notes 25/05/2019 Due to behavior this dog went straight to the kennel without a weight or vaccinations. He was had barking and required a rabies pole to move from van to building. 25/05/2019 Per Dr. 1493: Sedated with Dexmedetomidine 0.5 mg/ml 0.7 mls IM and Butorphanol 10 mg/ml 0.5 mls IM @ approx 2:40PM Performed intake tasks Reversed in cage with Antisedan 5 mg/ml 0.7 mls IM Details on my behavior are... Being Alone, Bones, and Cats: 63806-3hjears pld, 71 lbs Spike Good looking, playful, loves his toys, lived in harmony with children, housetrained Handsome Spike is at Manhattan ACC waiting for his Happy Ever After Toad ally LovabL TO BE KILLED - 6/1/2019 "SPIKE IS AN INDOOR DOG who enjoys sleeping inside indoor/outdoor patio area," his owners told the intake staff at the dog pound shortly before signing him over to them. Being Alone, Andrew Bogut, and Apparently: Initially shy of strangers, an affectionate, playful, well mannered family pet with a STELLAR Resume, sits broken hearted & alone, dreaming of home.... Wakota ID 58188, 2 YRS. 68 LBS OF LOVE, WAITS WITH HOPE FOR A FAMILY TO LOVE HER. MANHATTAN ACC TO BE KILLED – 3/30/2019 Dakota waits and waits and waits….all she dreams of, all she thinks about, is going home. Rescued 2 months ago, after probably being either dumped by yet another family, her life has been one of constant change and disappointment. She put her whole heart into this last parent, making sure that she was perfect in every way – housetrained, crate trained, performing her commands just to see them smile. And she was certain that this time….finally….she’d found a parent who would stay. And then along came the pesky landlord and his “no pets” policy, and that was the end of Dakota’s dream. Now she sits again in a small kennel, her hopes dashed again, and it’s not going well. Do you blame her? Her heart shattered over and over, and yet she is barely 2 years old. This is not the dream of puppyhood! Curious and respectful around dogs, a STELLAR RESUME for one so young, we’d love to see Dakota finally loved the way she should have been loved since birth. Don’t let this poor pup down. Hurry and message our page or email us at [email protected] for assistance fostering or adopting Dakota so her dream of a family who stays can finally come true. These dogs are not displaying concerning behaviors in shelter, and the owner surrender profile (where available) is positive. Some dogs with Level 1 determinations may still have potential challenges, but these are challenges that the behavior team believe can be handled by the majority of adopters. The potential challenges could include no young children, prefers to be the only dog, no dog parks, no cats, kennel presence, basic manners, low level fear and mild anxiety. Level 2 Dogs with Level 2 determinations will be suitable for adopters with some previous dog experience. They will have displayed behavior in the shelter (or have owner reported behavior) that requires some training, or is simply not suitable for an adopter with minimal experience. Dogs with a Level 2 determination may have multiple potential challenges and these may be presenting at differing levels of intensity, so careful consideration of the behavior notes will be required for counselling. Potential challenges at Level 2 include no young children, single pet home, resource guarding, on-leash reactivity, mouthiness, fear with potential for escalation, impulse control/arousal, anxiety and separation anxiety. Level 3 Dogs with Level 3 determinations will need to go to homes with experienced adopters, and the ACC strongly suggest that the adopter have prior experience with the challenges described and/or an understanding of the challenge and how to manage it safely in a home environment. In many cases, a trainer will be needed to manage and work on the behaviors safely in a home environment. It is likely that every dog with a Level 3 determination will have a behavior modification or training plan available to them from the behavior department that will go home with the adopters and be made available to the New Hope Partners for their fosters and adopters. Some of the challenges seen at Level 3 are also seen at Level 1 and Level 2, but when seen alongside a Level 3 determination can be assumed to be more severe. The potential challenges for Level 3 determinations include adult only home (no children under the age of 13), single pet home, resource guarding, on-leash reactivity with potential for redirection, mouthiness with pressure, potential escalation to threatening behavior, impulse control, arousal, anxiety, separation anxiety, bite history (human), bite history (dog) and bite history (other). New Hope Rescue Only Dog is not publicly adoptable. Prospective fosters or adopters need to fill out applications with New Hope Partner Rescues to save this dog.

Anaconda, Apple, and Bones: Channeling the Easter Bunny with her adorable ear set, she's a super sweet, chunky, lowrider dreaming of a family of her own! DARLING DESTINE יי Id 55076 2 Yrs.. Spayed and Wating for Cuddles & Hugs, Manhattan ACC TO BE KILLED - 2/26/2019 She’s so full of life. DESTINE is an adorable chunky lowrider with the biggest, brightest smile at the Manhattan Center. She simply adores people, and with those ears!!! It’s like she is channeling the Easter Bunny. We adore her rotund little body, her happy go lucky spirit and her never ending charm. Affectionate, cuddly, and oh so sweet, this wonderful youngster is waiting to light up someone’s life for the rest of hers. Don’t wait, hurry and foster or adopt her now. She’s spayed and ready to go! PM our page or email us at [email protected] for assistance. A volunteer writes: "Is that my new family I see?" No, wait Destine; I usually do this differently. Like this: Destine is seal brown, apple-headed, full figured gal in search of a food plan, and a new life. We met at Manhattan's ACC on a bright winter afternoon. I am a complete sucker for apple headed dogs, so not too much batting her eyes at me was needed to sell me on taking her out. "Are you sure?" Yes, Destine. Let me tell everyone how we passed our time. "Okay..." We went out into the pen, and Destine made a preliminary search of the perimeter but is quite happy to sit right there, velcroed to your legs (um, too hefty for the bench), and happily, on a chilly day, be a foot warmer, using my size nines as a couch. Watching the birds, volunteers and staff was just fine for her. Destine appreciated the "go slow" hang out, to sit, and think, and be. "Because, I think I see someone!" That's the idea, love. She lunged, growled, and snapped at the gate when conducting a gate greeting with the male helper dog. A single dog residence is recommended for Rome. She should be kept out of dog park environments and areas of dog traffic. Summary (1):: 12/10: Rome lunges, growls, and bites the gate when attempting a gate greeting with the male helper dog. She continue to pull forward and vocalize with a tense body. 12/12: A realistic prop dog is brought out to further assess behavior while minimizing risk of incident or stress to the helper dog. Rome rushes over, grabs and bites the neck of the prop dog. INTAKE BEHAVIOR - Date of intake:: 12/9/2018. Summary: Social, allowed handling. ENERGY LEVEL:: We have no history on Rome so we cannot be certain of her behavior in a home environment. However, she is a young, enthusiastic, social dog who will need daily mental and physical activity to keep her engaged and exercised. We recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and hide-and-seek games, in additional to physical exercise, to positively direct her energy and enthusiasm. BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION:: NEW HOPE ONLY Behavior Asilomar: TM - Treatable-Manageable Recommendations:: Single-pet home,Recommend no dog parks,Place with a New Hope partner Recommendations comments:: Place with a New Hope partner: Due to the severity for Rome's reactivity towards other dog, we recommend placement with a New Hope partner who can provide any necessary behavior modification (force-free, positive reinforcement-based) and re-evaluate behavior in a stable home environment before placement into a permanent home. Single pet home/no dog parks: See DOG-DOG INTERACTION ASSESSMENT. Due to the high level of concerning reactivity and behavior toward dogs, Rome should remain the only resident dog and be kept out of dog park settings. It is recommended that Rome be muzzled where there may be areas of high dog traffic. Potential challenges: : Anxiety,On-leash reactivity/barrier frustration Potential challenges comments:: On-leash reactivity/barrier frustration: Rome is extremely reactive towards other dogs at the care center, lunging towards them, growling, and snapping. Rome will need positive reinforcement, reward based training to teach her to look at you rather than other dogs. We recommend a front clip harness or head halter to help manage this behavior. Anxiety: Rome appears anxious at the care center, pacing, panting, and whining. This is likely due to being surrounded by other dogs at the care center, but we do not know if will occur outside of the care center. If it does appear in a future home, we recommend puzzle toys, long walks, and giving her other things to focus on to alleviate her anxiety. Positive reinforcement, force-free training only should be used. MEDICAL EXAM NOTES 12/12/2018 DVM Intake Exam Estimated age: ~4-6yrs based on PE. Andrew Bogut, Children, and Click: GOOFY, SILLY, HAPPY,SWEET BOY, WHO LOVES PEOPLE&IS WAGGY WITH OTHER DOGS. A TOTAL LOVEBUG ADORED BY VOLUNTEERS, AND DREAMING OFAFAMILY TOLOVE HIM LOVEABLE LENNOX Id 42185, e 2 Yrs., 56 lbs. of Perfect, Waiting for you, in Manhattan ACC TO BE KILLED – 9/27/2018 Wounded jumping out of a bathtub and cutting himself on the soap dish, bundle of love Lennox doesn’t let his injury get in the way of his sheer joy in life. He’s such a sweet boy, gangly, goofy, and completely loveable boy, adored by volunteers because of his wiggly, social ways. He seems to love other dogs, though the poor kid didn’t get to play with the other “kids” in doggy playgroup because of the severe wound on his side, but he sat at the gate, wagging away at the female on the other side. He adores people, and you couldn’t ask for a more handsome, loving friend. As a volunteer writes: “If you looked like Lennox, why wouldn't you love life? He has a large personality and a smile to match. He seems unfazed by his injury or by the fact he has to wear a large plastic collar. He doesn't seem to mind as long as you scratch the right spots (right along his torso and behind his ear for those keeping track at home). His limbs seem to have a mind of their own and make walking or jumping (please see video) sometimes difficult. Lennox is not the most graceful of fellas but he is one of the most lovable, and he is waiting (most likely, awkwardly) for you at MACC.!” PRIVATE MESSAGE our page or email us at [email protected] for assistance fostering or adopting Lennox. Being a goofball. 😊 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8QtqiVZlmo LENNOX, ID # 42185, @ 2 Yrs. Old, 56 lbs. INTAKE NOTE – DATE OF INTAKE, 9/21/2018: Lenox had a loose body, wagging tail and allowed counselors to rub his back and give him treats. Lenox also allowed to be collared and placed into a kennel. SURRENDER NOTES, BASIC INFORMATION: Lenox is a large mixed breed male, estimated to be 2 years old. Lenox came in today by his owner’s relative, with a medical emergency. Lenox has a large cut on his left side that he received in his home when he was getting a bath, leaped out of the tub, and got cut by a broken soap dish. It is a severely deep wound and shows some muscle tissue. Lennox previously lived with 2 Adults. He is friendly with strangers, loose, and waggy tail. Medical Notes: Lenox has a large cut on his left side that cut him open with a broken soap dish. It is a severely deep wound and his muscle tissue is showing. The incident happened a few hours ago and Lenox is licking it a lot. IN SHELTER OBSERVATIONS:: Lennox has been highly social with his human caretakers in the shelter environment. He has been soft and social throughout all his interactions with staff and volunteers. He may get jumpy at times but he is food motivated and receptive to training. SHELTER ASSESSMENT – DATE OF ASSESSMENT, 24-Sep-2018 Look: 1. Dog leans forward or jumps up to lick the Assessor's face with tail wagging, ears back and eyes averted. Sensitivity: 1. Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft or squinty, soft and loose body, open mouth. Tag: 1. Dog assumes play position and joins the game. Summary: Lennox quickly approached the assessor and jumped up in a social manner. He displayed a high level of activity and movement during his assessment, becoming mouthy during tag but applying light pressure and jumping up a lot. He was social throughout and allowed all handling. INTAKE BEHAVIOR - Date of intake: 21-Sep-2018. Summary: Loose body, allowed handling MEDICAL BEHAVIOR - Date of initial: 22-Sep-2018. Summary: Active, social, allowed handling ENERGY LEVEL: Lennox is he is a young, enthusiastic, social dog who will need daily mental and physical activity to keep him engaged and exercised. We recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and hide-and-seek games, in additional to physical exercise, to positively direct his energy and enthusiasm. BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION: EXPERIENCE (suitable for an adopter with some previous dog experience, especially with the behaviors outlined below) Recommendations: No young children (under 5) Recommendations comments: No young children: Due to the high level of jumping and mouthing seen at the care center, we recommend a home without young children. Older children who are comfortable around large, jumpy dogs should have an in-depth interaction prior to adoption. Potential challenges: Basic manners/poor impulse control, Mouthiness/poor bite inhibition, Low threshold for arousal Potential challenges comments: Basic manners/poor impulse control: Lennox jumps up a lot on people in a social manner. It is recommended that default behaviors such as "Leave it", "Sit/Stay", "Down" are reinforced to substitute any frustration and teach him to control his impulses instead of simply reacting; proper management is also advised. Force-free, reward based training only is recommended. Low threshold for arousal: Lennox quickly becomes over aroused in the presence of people, jumping up and mouthing. Positive reinforcement, force-free training should be used to teach Lennox to remain calm when people and other exciting things are around. He should be reward with treats when calm. If he escalates to jumping or mouthing, people should immediately walk away from and separate themselves from Lennox. Mouthiness/poor bite inhibition: Lennox has shown some mouthiness in the care center. Little pressure is applied, but this is a behavior that should be extinguished through training alternate behaviors and lack of reward (ex. walking away whenever Lennox's teeth make contact with skin). MEDICAL EXAM NOTES 23-Sep-2018 Tech Exam: As pr Dr. 1516 gently expressed discharge from the wound area, cleaned the area with chlorhex solution, and then cold compressed wound for 5 minutes w/ice pack wrapped in brown paper towel. Andrew Bogut, Click, and Dogs: DUMPED AS A STRAY, A FAMILY PET WANTS TO GO HOME TO THE LIFE SHE LOVED. SUPER SOCIAL, SWEET, WAGGY, GIRL WITH STELLAR SAFER SCORES GORDA ID 34642, @ 5 Yrs. Old, 78 lbs of Love, Spayed and Dreaming of the Life she Loved, in Manhattan ACC TO BE KILLED 7/20/2018 They say she was a stray. Do we believe it? Nope. She’s 78 buxom pounds of sweetness, she’s spayed, and she loves people. She ACED her SAFER, and was wiggly, soft, wagging, friendly, social and just a GREAT all around gal with the assessor. She got an experienced rating meaning she can go to a family with prior dog experience. All good right? Wrong. Because GORDA, as amazing as she is, is going to die because she is homeless. She is overwhelmed by the barking, whining and distress of the other dogs when passing in close quarters, though when she met a helper dog at the gate, she was all wagging tails. She would most likely be fine with other dogs, given time to decompress and then slow intros (which is de rigueur anyway when bringing home a new pet – it takes TIME!!!!). Poor Gorda, all she has is this lousy intake photo but she’s really so lovely! We adore her and we want to see her out of the shelter and back in a family environment ASAP. She doesn’t know why she is here. We don’t know why she’s there either! She’s very special, and she wants to go home, plain and simple. Are you the experienced person who can give her back her life? If so, you need to Private Message our page or email us at [email protected] for assistance fostering or adopting her. GORDA, ID # 34642, @ 5 Yrs. Old, 78.8 lbs. Manhattan ACC, Large Mixed Breed, Tan / White, Spayed Female I came to the shelter as a Stray, 7/15/2018 Shelter Assessment Rating: Experienced Home Intake Behavior Rating: INTAKE NOTE – DATE OF INTAKE, 7/15/2018: While trying to get her into the kennel she became extremely nervous and anxious and would bark heavily, possibly dog reactive. SHELTER ASSESSMENT - Date of assessment:: 7/17/2018 Look:: 1. Dog's eyes are averted, with tail wagging and ears back. Allows head to be held loosely in Assessor's cupped hands. Sensitivity:: 1. Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft or squinty, soft and loose body, open mouth. Tag:: 1. Dog follows at the end of the leash, body soft. Paw squeeze 1:: 1. Dog gently pulls back his/her paw. Paw squeeze 2:: 2. Dog quickly pull back. Flank squeeze 1:: Item not conducted Flank squeeze 2:: Item not conducted Toy:: 1. Minimal interest in toy, dog may smell or lick, then turns away. Summary:: Gorda approached the assessor with a soft body. She was social throughout the assessment, allowed all handling, and displayed no concerning behaviors. DOG TO DOG SUMMARIES: Summary (1):: 7/16: When Gorda greeted a male dog at the fence she displays a soft body and low tail wag. Due to some handling concern, she is not a candidate for off leash interaction. Gorda should be allowed time to decompress outside of a shelter environment - future introductions should be conducted at a slow pace to respectful dogs. INTAKE BEHAVIOR, Date of intake:: 7/15/2018. Summary:: Anxious, barking at dogs ENERGY LEVEL:: We have no history on Gorda so we cannot be certain of her behavior in a home environment. In the care center, she displays a medium level of activity. BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION:: EXPERIENCE (suitable for an adopter with some previous dog experience, especially with the behaviors outlined below) Behavior Asilomar: TM - Treatable-Manageable Potential challenges: : On-leash reactivity/barrier frustration,Leash-biting Potential challenges comments:: On-leash reactivity/barrier frustration: At the care center, Gorda has been observed to react to other dogs on leash, lunging towards them, barking and growling. Gorda may need positive reinforcement, reward based training to teach her to look at you rather than other dogs. We recommend a front clip harness or head halter to help manage this behavior. Leash-biting: Gorda is quick to grab the leash in her mouth. We recommend walking her with a toy to dissuade him from grabbing the leash. Positive reinforcement, force-free training is advised to teach her to focus on you rather than grabbing the leash. MEDICAL NOTES: 19/07/2018 DVM Intake Exam Estimated age: Estimated 4-6 years based on dentition and overall appearance Microchip noted on Intake? Scanned pos - 985112004875305 History : Stray. Owner was identified but health hx not obtained. Subjective: Alert in kennel. Many wounds noted on feet and legs. Observed Behavior: In the kennel, pt barks and paces. When we attempt to leash her, she evades the leash, then grabs it in her mouth and starts playing tug. A water spray bottle is used to discourage this behavior, but pt does not drop the leash. Eventually we let go of the leash, and she drops her end too and resumes pacing. Pt cannot be removed from the kennel safely, so she is sedated with 0.7 ml butorphanol and 1 ml Dexdomitor IM. Exam completed with pt heavily sedated. Evidence of Cruelty seen - None Evidence of Trauma seen - Wounds on legs - R/O self-trauma Objective T = P = R = BCS 7/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted Oral Exam: Mild tartar.
