@tfpthekatrin's post made me remember I had jade beads I wanted to make a drifter thing w/ so behold a bracelet I will never wear

couldn't find my nice satiny red string so embroidery thread makes do. will cut the beads out and remake it if I do find the better string bc then I may actually wear it!!

I have a problem and idk how to fix it. The thought of going through some of this stuff and choosing what to keep and not keep is overwhelming but I'm out of ways to display my collections and I also don't necessarily want to have all of it per se but also every single piece is unique and wonderful and interesting and otl

#its NOT the gems/minerals/crystals theyre just included here bc i also have a lot of them but I'm not getting rid of any of those. they cost #real money to aqcuire ok #the rocks I'm. i love them. but i can PROBABLY part with some. a few. maybe??#the seashells augh i have WAY TOO MANY #but i also dont want to throw out seashells. ideally id like to take them to the beach and return them BUT idk which beach i got all of them #from otl ;_;#like some are from cape cod (north or south beaches!) and some are from long island but again different beaches/spots #and some of them were GIFTED to me. bc once someone knows u like shells and such they give you ones they spotted on their local beach #and theyre pretty!! but i dont need them! i dont really want all of them!#my dad is like oh just paint inside the shells meanwhile i do in fact still have a BOX full of ones set aside for that purpose! which is #also not going to happen anytime soon anyway so in the meantime I'm hoarding seashells man!!!#these are ones that werent suitable for painting AND id like to undo some of the damage ive done by taking seashells from the beaches and #put them BACK #I'm just nervous abt if its ok to return them to the wrong area/beach #otl
