It's really hard for me to rank favorites for media (especially music) but here's some of my favorites of theirs in no particular order:

This account is all about 80s and the music, fashion and media that I love from this time period 💕

I was going through a massive 80s phase in my late teens, denim on denim everyday, watched 21 jump street (TV SHOW NOT THE FILM😂) twice back to back, bright orange eyeshadow and crazy hair. Oh, and I refused to listen to anything other than A-ha!

Now at 22, the feeling of happiness from wearing a denim jacket and blasting “the sun always shines on TV” in the car on a road trip never gets old.

I think my love of 80s comes from wanting to escape into a time which seemed so much more optimistic and full of hope and opportunity. My parents were both born in 1960 and had the time of their lives throughout the 80s when they were my age now.

My mom tells me about going to the discos with her friends, meeting her first love (not my dad 😂), how it was a better time.

My dad had long hair, and rode a motorbike (cannot imagine this, he can barely drive a car lol).

I hope anyone who comes across my page can retreat into the joy of this time period and share the music which gives me so much happiness, and I’d love to hear your thoughts and feelings.

I sort of want to end this post by saying whether you’re coming to this post to relive the best times of your life, or whether you are coming here to experience a time you’ve never lived through (like me) please enjoy!

Also that, if you’re a person who misses the past, or a young person feeling lost in 2024, things always have the chance to get better and the future is still bright 🌞. Time flies so quickly, so we need to make the most of every moment with the people we love, and try not to let life get us down🧡

is it just me or is Pål extra attractive when he plays guitar? I was watching the 1991 (or is it 1990?) NRK performance of Manhattan Skyline and when Pål began playing that long solo... 🥰

He's so cool

He always looks so attractive. Tbh, I find him more attractive in the 90s rather than in the 80s. Well, I love him very much. And he looks hot in the late 80s (from 1988) but he looks more mature from 1990 until 1999.

Have you seen the documentary about a-ha in Tokyo during the process of “Gatsby”? It’s from 1988, but damn.

Pal looks so damn attractive in that documentary. Alongside with his deep voice when he talks.

More than cool, Pål is AMAZING

I know that many people don’t like him because he’s too serious and introverted, saying that he has done anything for the band. That he is not popular and that his “Savoy” solo band is not as good as a-ha.

I do not agree with this. He is the heart of a-ha. Without him, there would be no a-ha. He is talented. He’s an amazing guitar player, singer, and songwriter. He does amazing backing vocals in mostly of a-ha’s songs.

You must be deaf in you can’t hear him singing.

I like you anon. You love Pål and that’s what makes me happy.
