While rereading mdzs I am once again shocked by how talked about the "you were the only mistake he ever made" line from Lan Xichen to Wei Wuxian is and how heated it gets some people because honestly... I don't think he actually even believes that.

Stay with me. Look at the actual line. (I Included 2 translations for comparison's sake)

Firstly, yes he is mad at Wei Wuxian in this scene. But his biggest moment of anger was actually before this. By this point he's realized that Wei Wuxian forgot what happened after nightless city (and therefore ISN'T stringing along his baby brother on purpose) so he has in fact calmed down a bit.

Secondly, notice that he starts by talking about how his uncle felt. This is not Lan Xichen making a value statement about what he thinks. When he says Lan Wangji was proper and righteous he is talking about him being a model lan, he's talking about their family and clan's perspective of Wangji. Indeed, in their eyes, Wei Wuxian is the only time Lan Wangji was ever not the textbook perfect Lan.

Thirdly, what is Lan Xichen trying to say here? What is he mad at Wei Wuxian for? It's that he doesn't know Lan Wangji is in love with him. His anger is eased by realizing Wei Wuxian doesn't remember the very blatant confessions lwj made in the cave after nightless city, or Lan Wangji fighting his own clan elders for Wei Wuxian, and so had no way of knowing the whipmarks on Lan Wangji's back were related to him. But he is still mad, he still thinks Wei Wuxian should have been able to figure it out. So what does he highlight?

The fact that the only thing Lan Wangji, perfect model-Lan righteous Lan Wangji, ever defies his clan for is Wei Wuxian.

And Wei Wuxian has seen him do this! Even if he doesn't remember this one instance. Because Lan Wangji has been doing that the whole story through. Wei Wuxian has watched Lan Wangji blatantly stand against the entire cultivation world for him, and here Lan Xichen is highlighting just how unusual that is, how much Wei Wuxian must mean to Lan Wangji that he's willing to do that. The important part of the sentence here is not "mistake" it's "only."

Lan Xichen here isn't trying to say that he disapproves of Wei Wuxian, or telling him to stay away from his brother. Remember, the thing that made him mad in the first place was Wei Wuxian saying that he and Lan Wangji slept in seperate rooms. He thought they were together! He's mad because they're not!

At no point does Lan Xichen say he individually considers Lan Wangji's feelings for Wei Wuxian a mistake. If he ever did, it's clear he accepted them regardless long ago. Mistake or not, what he wants is for his little brother to be happy.

Watching the dynamic between bonny and read vs stede and ed in s2 ep4 was such a rollercoaster cause it went from me thinking "oh no they're just like stede and ed but if they actually ran off to China together and had a loving happy relationship" to me getting further into the ep and thinking "oh no they're just like stede and ed but if they ran off to China together and their relationship turned fucked up and toxic cause that's what happens when two traumatized pirates run of to live in isolation with eachother on a whim".

Toga Himiko’s True Quirk

 (Toga and Quirk Meta) (Long Meta, Permission to use anywhere given)

Toga Himiko’s Quirk is officially “Transform” but I believe that there’s a deeper twist, a hidden classification of her Quirk that better explains everything about Toga herself.

Toga’s action and the events surrounding her, and what she wants most as part of her Normal.

This change in definition for her would explain everything.

Quirks can be anything in Bnha’s setting but when they do correlate with something, the recognizable parts of their power, the host of the Quirk always has other qualities that pair with that definition.

There’s the Nature and Animal based Quirks:

Kamui Woods and Bubble Girl are both Heroes with Quirks based off of natural things: Wood and Bubbles.

The Rabbit Hero Mirko is, obviously, based off of a Rabbit.

But the important thing to note in these cases is the “Favorite Things” Part of their descriptions:

Kamui: Forest Strolls

Bubble Girl: Bathing

Mirko: Carrots

All things that connect with their Quriks.

Another important thing to note is that Quirks aren’t restricted to just “Real Things/Beings”:

The Hero Ryukyu’s Quirk is based off of a Dragon, a Mythical being, and what is her “Favorite Thing”?

“Anything Sparkly”

A trait very common among Dragons in fantasy; like Smaug from the Hobbit or Fafnir from the Norse Mythology.  (Not a direct comparison to ‘Wealth/Gold’ but definitely close enough to get the point across.)

Quirks influence the Host’s “Likes/desires”

Not only reflecting their physical appearance but also their internal drives, compelling them to certain things.

Now it could be argued that they only like these things because their Quirks gave them the idea in the first place and nothing more but I don’t think that’s true:

Hawks and Tsuyu (Hawk and Frog) both exhibit the need to Consume the things related to their Quirks: Chicken and Insects.

A more clear cut to see in Tsuyu’s case, since Insects wouldn’t be normal for her to want to eat as opposed to Chicken with Hawks, but the implications come across clearly:

How does all of this tie back in to Toga and her Quirk?

Even just the appearance is pretty familiar right??

And the Similarities keep pairing up perfectly from there.

First with the small examples:

They are said to lurk in the mountains when in hiding:

The league of Villains as a whole hid in the mountain areas during My Villain Academia.

The Bakeneko’s Tails:

Legends vary on the Bakeneko’s tail, in that with age it can split and become multiple tails, although technically becoming a different, nearly indistinguishable type of Youkai in the process.

But it’s also said that the Bakeneko’s Tail can summon “Ghostly Fireballs” that can Ignite Houses, burning them down.

Maybe a “Ghostly Fire” summoned through Toga’s “Tale” instead?

Now the much more clear cut Parralels:

They can walk without making a sound: With espionage being one of her most prominent traits, holding her breath and clearing her mind allows Himiko to erase her presence and allegedly vanish from her enemies' view. This ability isn't limited to ambushes, as it can be used in combat as well, disappearing if the opponent averts their attention from her, even for an instant.

Their Wild Nature that remains despite the gentleness they can show:

And finally, it is believed that a Bakeneko can transform if they drink the Blood of Murder Victims:

Everything fits, a Mythical Creature (like the Dragon), with its desires matching up to its defined being.

Likes: Bubble Girl - Baths, Kamui Woods - Forests, Ryukyu - Shiny things

Consumes: Hawks - Chicken, Tsuyu - Insects, Mirko - Carrots

Toga Himiko Likes and Consumes – Blood

Which ties in and gives even more weight to the fact that Toga never had a Choice in her existence, because this is what she is, in her desire for Blood being no more normal than any of the other examples listed above.

No person besides her has ever been shown to be unable to attain these “Favorite Things” connected to their Quirk aspects, as they’re all things that would fall under society’s acceptable “Normal”; such as eating Chicken or Carrots or taking Baths.

Or the things could be obtained secretly without any harm caused: Tsuyu likely eating insects in private when no one is around or Ryukyu getting Shiny Things as part of her very Lucrative Career of being a Hero.

The question Bnha may indirectly be asking: what would many years of depriving those “Favorite Things” do to someone’s mental state?

What would they become?

ROSE + NICO POTENTIAL PARRALELS ARE DRIVING ME INSANE

Already mentioned how they parallel each other a lot more if Nico is the mastermind in my last Nico Mastermind theory post, but I've realized both how it could make more sense and how the potential is crazy going forward

So, I believe the parallels between them is centered around memory. Now, with narratives and parallels in DRDT so far, it seems to follow how 'Two sides of the same coin' tropes usually play out. Essentially, two characters handling the same problem in different ways. Ace and Arei are probably the most clear example of this with both being inherently 'bad' people, but how they deal with this dilemma is VERY different

Knowing this, I wanna change my original thought process from last post. Instead of Rose dealing with a lot of knowledge and Nico dealing with little knowledge, I think it'll be more focused on them both knowing a lot

Here's how I think it'll play out:

Rose having photographic memory (knowing and being able to remember a lot) -> becomes a hindrance to her as she forgets what's important (negative outcome)

Nico becomes aware they are the mastermind as they start to remember (being able to remember and knowing a lot) -> becomes an asset to them as they remember what's important (positive outcome) (for them anyways)

Also, another thought when thinking about last trial:

Usually composed / calm and easy-going Rose -> becomes more distressed and emotional

Emotionally-driven and distrustful Nico -> becomes more logically-driven and reserved

Now, I know what you might be thinking

'What about Charles, isn't he heavily associated with memory with the childhood amnesia? Surely he'd be a better fit in terms of parallels with memory'

Yes, but I doubt that will become a main theme for him moving forward. We've established he has childhood amnesia and he has already discussed it with questioning other aspects of his life. I don't see how this theme could be explored further. Plus, the characters that parralel are usually connected in some way; even if with Ace and Arei, it was through one killing the other. But with Charles, he has hardly any interaction with Rose. Sure they might have some sort of connection in the future, but I think a much more likely candidate has quite literally been with him this whole time: Whit. I won't get into too much detail, but I'm pretty sure they will parallel when it comes to choosing to see and find out the truth. There's many analysis already out there you can go read that explain it better than I ever will lol

A Whovian Watches Star Trek for the First Time: Part 104 - Battle of Pahvo

Star Trek: Discovery - Season 1 Episode 9 - Into the Forest I Go

We pick up exactly where we we left off. Command is recalling Discovery back to Federation controlled Space, and abandon the Pavhan's defence. Lorca however, disagrees, and has a clever plan to take down the Ship of the Dead. Trouble is, we only have 3 hours to figure out how to defeat the cloaking device, because that is the time that Command expects Discovery to Warp to safety by.

To create a paper trail about why Discovery is travelling by warp and not by spore drive, however, Lorca orders Paul to have every medical test done, which will inevitably reveal to his Doctor BF about the genetic nature of his connection to the spore drive.

The actual plan is simple, however it requires Discovery to make hundreds of consecutive spore jumps to 3d image the ship but would almost certainly fry Paul's brain. We're then given the idea that the Mycelium network can extend beyond just the galaxy into the rest of the universe and even into parallel realities, and this really motives the scientist inside Paul, seems to be hinting that this the direction we're going in once this war arc is done and dusted.

In recent years has kinda become saturated with multiverses, but it's an idea that I love. If we do end up going in that direction, I hope it's handled well. Doctor Who has kinda dabbled in parallel universes before, Most Notibly Inferno and the overarching story of Series 2 of the Revived Series, and has kinda set my taste for how I like Parralel World storylines. Point is, if we do go in that direction, I hope Star Trek handles it's multiverse more akin to how Doctor Who does, and less like how Comic Book movies handle their multiverses. Basically, I want it to use a multiverse to tell interesting stories with the characters we have, I don't want it to become cameo-city

Paul get's into position to make the jumps, the Ship of the dead uncloaks. Ash and Michael beam aboard and the battle begins.

While aboard, Michael finds Admiral Cornwell and Ash starts having PTSD flashbacks after encountering the Klingon Torturer. Since The Admiral is unable to walk, and the Ash is out of commission, Michael is alone in placing he sensors. Luckily she successfully does it, and Discovery does it's jumps. As predicted, the Ship of the Dead goes back into cloak, but Discovery completed it's scans and now can bypass the cloaking!

The scenes with the doctor watching Paul suffering to make all those jumps was heartbreaking, and the episode had be at least convinced that Paul would die in the process. I also loved Michael's confrontation with Commander Kol, over his lack of honour, and her reclaiming Captain Georgiou's rank badge, which allowed her to kind of redeem herself in her own head.

With Kol defeated, and the Klingon Ship of the Dead destroyed, and command decides to decorate Lorca with something, presumably a medal, called the Legion of Honour, however Lorca decides to pass that honour onto Paul, which I'm really happy to see. This man deserves everything for going through that drive. However, Paul decides that the jump home will be the last jump and he'll reture to earth afterwards, which makes me wonder who'll take that spot going forward.

We get an interesting scene where Ash opens up about what happened while he was in klingon prison, and his survivors guilt and how that affected him. My heart goes out for the guy. But we also get the revelation that the Torturer made him some kind of sleeper agent or something, and that programming is starting to awake.

We're then left with the Cliffhanger of something going very wrong during that jump. The Bridge is in chaos, and no one knows where they are.

This was a very nice conclusion to the whole Klingon War arc, and I'm excited to see where we're going next. Whatever is happening with Paul, and Ash, as well as where the ship ended up jumping to. I'm a bit worried about the multiverse direction the first half of the episode hinted at, but we'll see where this goes

Sith Solstice was generally observed on Korriban, Ziost and Drommund Kaas before the arrival of Vitiate’s Empire.  Due to the decay of galactic orbit, Ziost lacked the necessary 27 days of tradition, moving to 28 and then 29 by the time of swtor, so the monthly festival Calender became an obsession, Balmorra was chosen as a likely replacement due to its astral parralels to Old Ziost.

Tombs were opened, and passages renovated. specifically, the altar shrines where ancestors were revered. flowers and offerings of Tukata hearts were common to strengthen the ancients. gifts were left by fallowers and children wandered the halls guided by sith spirits, where they read more tomb hieroglyphs and learned about their kin.

4 Day Period Sith Purge Days/ Saturnalia Ziggurats were opened to slaves to wander.  A Sith Saturnalia was observed, where Slave revolts were largely permitted and purges allowed as long as they stayed within the grounds of the Blood Ziggurats. powerful masters would bow on their own thrones, while slaves and lower classes priests, massassi etc, feasted and permitted to eat from their master’s stock freely. The Holy Day, or the three days, going from sunset, a full two days and then dawn on the next day. was largely illuminated by bright temple torches, giving the impression of daylight, ceremonial blood oil was used, it gave the impression of daylight and also had incense and other additives. Old Kissai King Priests, would oversee the tribute from lords, massassi, and other persons of Power. depending on the whims of the Dark Lord, and their discissions regarding scarcity or supply, it was sometimes given to the lower classes.

Charity Wealthy Powerful lords were expected to take the time, sometimes personally, to strengthen their slaves, the weakest and longest suffering, were often given mercy killings and places inside lavish burial urns, with jewelry and mummification wraps or placed inside ‘Statues of the Ancient Slave’ their remains dipped in gold, and jewels or kyber crystals inlaid over their hearts. This process was separate from Sith Saturnalia

Hunting and Feasting Families hunted and feasted together, their wealth being given in shares to their servants and then hunted with any servants who were too great in surplus to have a share. Such decisions had strict guidelines dictated by Caste, Tradition and the Kissai

2-3 Days, At Discretion of Sith Lords The Slave Hunt Later periods evolved a sort of ‘Slave Hunting’ Tradition. where slaves if they desired would be hunted. upon their successful evasion, they would be granted freedom. betting was common. a Slave who interfered in Saturnalia was often sentenced to Death by Sith Alchemy, which often saw them turn into semi sentient Sithspawn, eternally servants to their masters, though more intelligent and morose. Slave’s that evaded their captors, and even killed them, were given by tradition rule of the hunting grounds and certain status. They were often taught one trade and given the weapon or weapons of their choosing and their pick of fellow slaves, often family.  Another tradition was if a slave hunted but spared their own master, they could Wed that master and became lawfully married

The Longest Night The longest and coldest night of the year was given to couples and newlyweds, fertility rituals, dark side sex magic, etc. long cold nights were for lovers to grow closer, oddly the force was in ebb, so it was common for spiritual bonds and force diads to be formed during the time, as without the force, couples grew naturally closer.  This period and phrase always moved, due to Ziost’s orbit, before being reset, and so the other festival periods reshuffled, bit by bit.

Day of the Sons fathers and sons spent time together, or sons visited graves, presents, offerings, family outings etc

Day of the Daughters Mothers and Daughters spent time together or honored graves and remains  presents, offerings, family outings etc

Day of the Patrons surrogates and other mentors were honored on this day, this was, always a time for rowdier gatherings for all,  presents, offerings, family outings etc

Massassi festivals which were much the same overlapped, but due to needing guards, theirs began earlier. and ended later. Thus Massassi had “the Day of Duty” Their Reverence day was after the Lords recovered and saw to the house, Their own strength restored, fallowing that, they returned to their duties as well. they also began earlier as when the festivals proper began, they saw to the city gates and those entering for celebration.

Ibsen anon here! First of all, I’m glad you even gave a damn about my nerd bullshit ramblings, let alone knew what I was on about, so it was amazing to read your answer. I have a whole lot more to talk about in terms of the parralels of the break up scene.

I managed to find a transcript of Doll’s House online and it turns out there are even more similarities between the play’s ending and BCS. In both scenes, the husband character begins by angrily responding to some semi related issue only to be totally blown away by the revelation that the wife wishes to break off the relationship. There’s a period of increasingly desperate bargaining as the husband refuses to take the wife’s threat seriously and blames the discord on other matters.

Jimmy: “we’ll never come back to this house again”; Helmer: “now is the time for education!”

The conversation becomes increasingly personal as both parties admit that while there is love between them (the exception being how Nora describes Helmer as you point out) it isn’t healthy or productive, hence the wife feels morally obliged to leave. In the end, she does, leaving the husband alone to absorb the shock.

The more I think about it, the more Better Call Saul does read kind of like an Ibsen play. It’s a naturalistic, character driven story where most of the powerful moments are told by dialogue. The original conflict gives way to something far more morally grey and devastating. The best the viewer can hope for is a bitter sweet end.

oh i love nerdy ramblings and finding connections in other stories and allusions across time and media!!! even if i hadn't been somewhat familiar with what you meant, i'd still have appreciated you sharing and finding the parallel! you explained this so well.

this is an aside, but since you mention that it's a naturalistic, character driven story (and i agree!), one thing i'll say is that i relish how they earn their few operatic moments. brba leaned a bit more into that by nature of its western roots and its action styling, whereas bcs is much more noir, but i was talking to a friend about this after 6x08 - lalo and howard being buried in the lab could easily sound goofy on paper. lalo bleeding out and getting an iconic Villain's Last Laugh could play silly. yet both worked, and the shot of that hole in the ground was completely gutting. it achieved what they wanted it to, adding a ghoulish pall over the lab that churns out life destroying poison. it was always a tomb. gus walking out of the room in casa tranquila and straightening his tie with half his face blown off was a moment like that too, where it's allowing itself a stroke of melodrama, but it works and is an indelible, horrifying image.

jimmy and kim's story mostly existing apart from the cartel storyline lent it a particularly grounded reality, especially since we spent a lot of time with them in moments of closeness and in step-by-step thought processes and personal transitions. the something stupid montage works so beautifully not only because we know them well, but because it tells an entire story through the visuals of their days, and being that familiar with their thought processes and emotional responses and relationship to one another makes them feel very real. that's why i think their dynamic affected and touched so many of us even though it didn't follow the story beats some audience members expect from a romance. it wasn't about epic moments with swelling violins, or overt sex (not that there's anything wrong with those things! but it's more what we're conditioned to expect, to be told is love, and it was refreshing to be given this beautiful, heartbreaking story that was crafted so honestly and broke that mold). it was two people finding missing pieces that fit together and building a life as best they thought they could, until they couldn't. it doesn't make their love not real, it doesn't even end it. breaking up when you hate each other is painful and biting, but breaking up when you love each other so enormously that it can barely be expressed, knowing you're ruinous anyway, knowing that love runs so deep you'd literally die and kill for each other and that breaks you? THAT'S Romantic tragedy, baby!

anyway, yes, there has always been an unvarnished honesty and very personal intimacy that we've experienced with jimmy and kim.

i think a thing to consider is kim leaving is only a pyrrhic victory for her. she's not escaping the relationship as much as she's escaping her own skin. while she does feel it's a moral obligation, she does act out of integrity and awareness, she's also imploding. even her conviction they're okay on their own is proven remarkably wrong. so hopefully we still get to a place of her reconciling and self-actualizing. she's such a meaningful female character that i want to hope they won't deny her that. there's no chance for nora ever coming back through the door, and we wouldn't want that for her. his pathetic desire that she might change her mind and come back is more about possession of a wife than it is love. kim and jimmy are a compelling contrast to that idea (since their whole relationship was anything but patriarchal, really!). her walking back into frame wouldn't be a diminishment of her or a denial of her strength, it would be an assertion of sorts, a reconciliation of who she is. bittersweetness can exist with poignancy and power, i think. going with the days of wine and roses theme, they've now hit the rock bottom of their addiction and the unavoidable split, but it concludes with the barest glimmer of hope, and sometimes that's all you need. "you better give up on me." "not yet."

Truthfully a story can exist but the way it is viewed by the audience and the enviroment that shaped their experiences and made them reach the conclusions THAT was what I was trying to say, to help people understand a persons mind process on why they might THINK or come TO the conclusion that Good Omens might be queerbait [even though thats not what 'I' was thinking] but only delving into a small tip of the iceberg of queer literature of subtext as homosexual relationships pre-80's was frowned upon, and had to be villianised. Or when it was finally accepted were then killed. Or to only create a false please both audiences with a will they wont they [unconsented edgeplay] of two men JUST being friends and friendly who are brotherly and just really just pals.

So an older audience who had been used to watch lukewarm shows that 'claimed' to be lgbt only to rip that tag away once the show was over and they were then payed has made others [myself included] timid in queer media and would rather WAIT until a show was over before watching it.

So anyway- I would love to do a more in depth analysis of a LIST of queer stories that had some patterns, patterns that most fall into thats just dryhumping the line that is both queer-approved or queerbait.

In 2019 when Good Omens came out, I thought wow if I was in a relationship it would be like that. Crowley and aziraphale I felt seen, I couldn't describe what it was like wanting a relationship but feeling guilty because it wasn't the same as all the OTHER relationships in media. It was different and it was PERFECT.

SO Good Omens is a love story, and it's obvious on whose story it is BUT what I just realised from Season one is the many parralells of COUPLES thats in Good omens to compare against Aziraphale and crowley.

As most things when it comes to same sex couples they have to be subtext [sad face] but it is insulting to claim that ALL lgbt content HAS to be the same. There is a spectrum just because Good Omens isn't as obvious as Interview with a vampire [series] or our flag means death or others doesn't mean its any less queer.

So we have the couples in the series that actually correlate and can be compared to the main couple!

They come in twos.

Adam and Eve. Brand new to the world.

Same as Aziraphale and Crowley both brand new, both leaving the garden of eden almost as if they themselves were just like Adam and Eve I bet God was looking at them the same way they were looking at Adam and Eve.

Azi/Crowley; their fucked.

God watching Aziraphale and crowley WITHOUT the flaming sword ; Their fucked.

The way both Azi/crowley met was a love at first sight, they met the once and then bumped into each other conistently. My guess here is that this explosive burst of emotion of instantly liking each other and relying on one another after that first 'night'

Almost reminiscent of anathama and Newt.

Then later on, you have the son of satan well- the parents for the baby swap.

So you have Warlocks parents, the mother who stays and raises warlock alone and the husband who is CONSTENTLY in office and is kept away because of his work and devotion to his president, to the cost of both his loving wife and warlock.

Aziraphale is just as absent when he's constantly up in heaven or talking to gabriel about ending the apocolpse and also Aziraphale was a bit neglectful as Crowleys influence was much stronger than Azi's was in shaping warlock. That physical distance is parralell to the distance has made with crowley making his work [being an angel] his priority.

Then the comparison of adams family, how both raise Adam but its the way the two communicate and talk with one another. Both parents are a team, the way his wife teases her husband for being a big softie about Adam and his dog and the other denied it.

JUST like how Azi says Crowley deep down is a nice person and the other puffs up like an angry bird.

And the last couple but no more obvious. Honestly I always thought the fact that you see THREE love stories play out simultaniously at the same time is the main factor but given that the other mini couples are similair to Aziraphale and crowley was too good to ignore.

So Both shadwell and Madame Tracy.

The fact that Madame tracy had red hair and kept flirting unashamedly at Shadwell and the other kept insisting he wanted no part in it. The truth was theirs was subtle compared to the obvious [ahem] couple of Newt and anathama but when you look at how both tracy and shadwell converse with each other was subtle, not in your face but it was plain as day that the two had chemistry.

With all pairs together every single character in twos are usually a couple the only reason thats not the case are GROUPS.

And lookie here, the four horsmen, adams gang, and both heaven and hell itself have clusters of groups together they never have that official two pair.

Tag 9 People you want to get to know better

I was tagged by @momo-t-daye and I need to do smth instead of working, so...

Three ships. Right now my #1 is Snack. The parralelism of their fates and lives, the amount of void in the backstories you can fill in without diverging from canon too much, the unbearable depressive finales (and how, if you add their relationship there, these finales become WORSE, so people just go and create incredible AUs where these two miserable men are somehow happy with each other). Enough basis to work with, but also enough freedom for thought. This ship is also kind of a challenge, because making them a couple is a struggle, but it's extremely interesting to think of a plausible way to make it all work. If we talk about HP, I kinda like other stuff, but far from the Snack’s level? Though non-romantic friendship/familial ships like Snily or Severitus sound interesting. I've been in HP fandom for a pretty short time, so I'm still figuring out what I like and don't like and what I think about certain things and relationships. If we talk multifandom, I kind of wanted to have this blog as a fresh start, so I don't really want to talk about my other recent fandoms, sorry!

First ship. If we talk about HP, first one would be Snarry, but I was like 12 or 13 when I liked it, many years passed, I’m a very different person now and just don't see it anymore. If we talk multifandom here, there was this oldass 2000s show Dark Oracle and I shipped Omen/Kelly hard, lol. But what made me join fandom spaces and become actually active is Kaname/Zero from Vampire Knight.

Last Song. I'm kind of melomaniac and I either listen to hundreds of songs a day or one on repeat for a week. Unfortunately, right now I'm in the phase one, so no “I’m obsessed with this one” level of recommendation for you, but my last one today was How Soon Is Now? by The Smiths. Still in awe of the situation that I was just creating 80s Snape's playlist, but got viciously attacked by Charmed flashbacks. I’ve never heard original version of this song before and thought of this melody as just Charmed opening song, I had no idea.

Last Movie. I actually watched Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets with my friends last weekend, we are in process of watching/rewatching the whole series right now. Not gonna lie, it's a very different experience now when I'm an adult than what it was when I was a child or even a teen. A lot of things seem silly now, while other things seem more interesting and important. Tom’s still hot though. Not my type, but not gonna lie here.  I also watched A Ghost Story with Rooney Mara and a bunch of other movies before that while trying to create my fancast for a video about Severus' family and find fitting video material, and this movie was a very interesting experience for me. Made me feel small and weirdly nostalgic, but also calm about it? Love this feeling that indie movies often give off, they simultaniously get under your skin and feel like a warm blanket. The video is still in process, btw, I just decided to work on it on holidays when I have proper free time, my software is kinda buggy so the process itself is too irritating to spend on it the bits of free time I have now, but I love where it's going. And yeah, I see Rooney Mara as Eileen, she has this look in her eyes — frightened, hollow and piercing which I haven't seen anywhere else. She's also really great at playing kinda detached working class characters, which is a must, I think.

Currently Reading. I've just read two printed volumes of Lore Olympus. Can't say that I became a fan. The artstyle is fun, but the story didn't seem to me as unique as people say. Maybe it gets better, but I judge from what I have right now. Honestly, I have books all over my room that I want to read, but lately I read only comics and fanfiction, I'm too overworked for anything serious and my imagination is more active for creation than perception these days.

Currently Watching. As I said, we are in process of rewatching all HP movies with my friends, and that's basically all. I plan to watch del Toro's Nightmare Alley though, someone recommened it to me long time ago.

Currently Drinking. Coffee. The only thing that keeps me awake and sane lately.

Currently Craving. Sleep.
