hiiii, omg. thank youuuu! 🥹 and yeeeeah. so here we goooooo
✧*。SOME OF DAYDREAMING w' percy jackson and daughter of hera reader
Percy never knew he could find that kind of glorious and definitely heavenly love. He never knew it until he met you and nobody could take him away from you. Not even Hera, your mother. He didn't care much, to tell the truth.
For Percy you were his only church, the sacred place where he placed his faith and loyalty; the same that you lovingly guarded and faithfully respected. Both were perfect and just what Hera never found in Zeus: a loving and reciprocated relationship. You were crazy about each other that probably could dying in peace looking into each other's eyes.
The kind of love that usually takes most of your life to find. That luck had been given to you and Percy thought that he couldn't wait any longer to turning it into something serious.
When you finished dinner at the restaurant, he was amazed by the beauty of your simple person and you smiled with reddened cheeks. He intertwined your hand with his and huffed dramatically, making the hair that fell across his forehead flutter.
“please be mine” he dreamily begged and you raised your eyebrow clearly confused.
"but I'm yours, percy" you said and he kissed your hand with fervor. not needing anything else to take the little box out of his pocket and opening it before your eyes. You knew exactly what it was and you knew very well how he had come up with the idea of giving you a promise ring.
"My mother," you said, shaking your head in amusement as he slid the ring onto your finger.
"Well, Lady Hera may have had the best idea in her eons of life. And one we can finally agree on."
“Pers…” He denied and interrupted you as politely as he could.
"Please" His eyes spoke for themselves and you laughed.
"I'm not saying no. I'm saying that rings I think we've been wearing for quite some time." He didn't seem surprised, in fact he acted as if you had only confirmed his thoughts.
He leaned over the table and with a charming smile reminded you for the thousandth time why you would never let him go.
"Oh, honey. I know. I just like the things that shine on you."

PRINCESS OF THE GODS !
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
PARING(s), percy jackson x daughter of HERA reader
WARNING(s), basically just marriage
AUTHOR’S NOTE, yeah i listened to juno while doing this, what about it
౨ৎ percy met you a little while after he arrived at camp. you were the only demigod child of hera, the queen of the gods. he was surprised at the thought that zeus would even allow you to live, but in fairness, he wasn’t dead yet either
౨ৎ you two didn’t actually consider yourselves friends until after ttc, when you were kidnapped (yes you’re taking annie’s place IM SORRYYY)
౨ৎ after the events of all that, percy found himself…drifting towards you, in a way
౨ৎ like, before everything happened, even if you weren’t necessarily friends, he did know you, like your existence mattered so much to him, he just didn’t know why at the time
౨ৎ but you, on the other hand, somehow did
౨ৎ when you were saved by percy and friends, you were very optimistic that it was him saving you and not somebody else, cause that just wouldn’t be as fun
౨ৎ anyways from the moment you met him, you were like “oh yeah that’s my future boyfriend right there”
౨ৎ and yeah calm down just a little bit, but you also just knew, and you thanked your mother everyday for giving you this knowledge
౨ৎ but you were also pissed because holy shit, it took percy a while to come to terms with how he felt about you, even after saving you and becoming friends
౨ৎ but when i tell you how many times you made a move until he realized
౨ৎ you were very clear about your feelings, like you genuinely had nothing to hide
౨ৎ percy was extremely confused about the fact that you never dated anybody at all
౨ৎ and loads of people at camp clearly find you attractive and percy does, too, so when you were like “oh yeah i’ve never had a boyfriend before” he was as shocked as possible
౨ৎ because like, it’s you
౨ৎ and you’d think that would make it click that he had feelings for you
౨ৎ unfortunately. it did the opposite.
౨ৎ and that was kind of your last straw. you literally sat him down and explained your feelings to him and how you liked him ever since he saved you
౨ৎ THAT’S when he fully realized it
౨ৎ and it’s not cause he’s stupid (mischaracterized percy jackson they could never make me like you), it’s because it’s YOU. the pretty daughter of hera who a lot of people crushed on
౨ৎ you were practically a princess and percy took that so seriously, he found it so hard to believe that you liked him
౨ৎ after insisting that you really did like him, yippie that’s when y’all started dating !!
౨ৎ and when i tell you how much of a power couple you are. you two just radiate that kind of energy, even if someone didn’t know you were together
౨ৎ like you didn’t even need to tell anyone, everybody just. knew, and percy was stunned and he was like, they knew??? did you tell everyone???
౨ৎ and you were like no that’s just the power couple energy
౨ৎ when i tell you he worships the very ground you walk on I FUCKING MEAN IT. you know that one thing where a girl is singing on stage and her boyfriend is sobbing? that’s you two
౨ৎ if i or anyone else had to describe your relationship, it would be that
౨ৎ since your mother is the goddess of marriage, you were very clear about the fact that percy was the man you were to marry, and everybody just like. accepted it
౨ৎ even people who had current or previous crushes on you accepted that, mostly because you often referred to him as your husband like it was a regular thing
౨ৎ percy lets you do it every time and never corrects you, even calling you his wife sometimes.
౨ৎ listen you had your entire future with him planned. from the proposal (if he didn’t do it by age 22, you fucking would), to the wedding, to having kids, all that. he knew he could not stop you like he knew you were prepared
౨ৎ but percy still loved every minute of it, because the thought of marrying you, the love of his life, was just astonishing. he loves you just as much as he loves the thought of making you his wife, because it was you he would be marrying.

who did this to you? | percy jackson x daughter of hera! reader.
a / n : didn't wrote about my husband in a long time now
warnings : blood mentioning, passing out, dark-ish percy, cursing, enemies to lovers, book percy is my babe fr
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
percy was never the guy who judged the book by it's cover.
he had every type of friends. clarisse, who was the daughter of ares, the second god he despised the most. annabeth, which was his father's arch nemesis athena's daughter. thalia, the girl he couldn't get along at the first but realised they were same in different fonts, which was the daughter of zeus. also the arch nemesis of his father.
he loved his friends deeply. he was loyal to them to death and he always believed that they weren't their parents. until he met you.
you were the daughter of.. well.. hera. ranking the first in his 'i-would've-killed-if-i-had-the-power.' list. and ares with a red marker under her.
the moment you felt his judgy and awkward aura around you, you decided that you should hate him. you tried to love him, which was easy, believe me. but you always thought he hated you too, so you get along with it.
percy jackson never hated you. he was just scared from you. scared from the way you sometimes did acted like your mother. and if you would've turned out like her some day.
but you never did. you were always the same gentle, sweet, caring and motherly girl. at least to others. percy jackson was just keeping up with your attitude, the attitude he created unknowingly.
until one day, you came back to argo ii from your quest with jason and annabeth, all bruised up. jason was carrying you on his back while annabeth held your hand tightly, tears perking in her eyes.
"percy, hazel, everyone! come here please!" annabeth shouted as jason put you down gently. you rested your back to some wood wall that you didn't recognised at the moment. annabeth still held your hand, and you smiled. blood running down from your lip. "annie, m' okay." you mumbled, squezzing the girls hand.
"don't talk love," annabeth caressed your hair as the others rushed up to the main deck. hazel rushed to your side, giving you some ambrosia.
"what happened?" you heard percy ask, voice weirdly shaking. you closed your eyes and the sun suddenly was gone with someone's shadow. "hey, y/n, look at me," someone cupped your face. you slowly opened your eyes and saw percy staring at you. he had that worried face you loved so much, but never saw directed to you until now.
"who did this to you?" he asked, also looking at annabeth and jason. "who did this to her, jason? annabeth?" he asked them. you heard jason sigh.
you heard some mumbles coming from jason before you fell asleep, too tired to keep staying up.
when you woke up, someone was holding your hand. it was annabeth, who smiled the moment she saw you woken up. you smiled back, warming up with her caring behavior. "hey annie."
"hey sweetie," she said, getting up from the chair and sitting next to you on the bed. "how are you feeling?"
"great," you answered. and you did feel great. you were all bandaged and the ambrosia you ate earlier gave you energy. "what happened after i passed out? what happened to the monster?"
annabeth had a grin on her face that you saw only in special occasions. shipping kinda occasions. "well, after jason told everything that happened to percy- you remember he's asking you who did it right?" she asked.
"yeah, yeah i do. the last thing i heard was jason mumbling," you explained and she nodded. "after percy finding out who did it, and you passing out at the moment, he uh.. destroyed the monster. yeah, i think that's the perfect word for it."
she giggle at the shocked expression on your face. "i don't think the monster will reborn even, that's how crazy he went."
annabeth caressed your hair, the gentle expression she usually had coming back. "aside from the jokes, he's really worried about you. you passing out did not helped him. i could send him here, if you want."
"that would be wonderful annie," you finally managed to whisper, smiling at the girl. she returned the smile and gave your hand one last squeeze before getting out from your quarter.
not so after, percy ran into your room and closed the door behind him. "thank gods," he whispered, rushing to you. he embaced you in a hug that could easly broke someone's ribs. but you only chuckled, hugging his neck. "hello shark boy, missed me?"
you meant this question to be a joke to wipe away the awkward sitiuation between you two, but he seemed to get this seriously. "so much." he whispered into your neck, caressing your hair gently. "thought i lost you for a sec, pretty."
the pretty was new. he called you many things, not mean ones of course, but many things. the pretty was new, and it wasn't meant to annoy you. this was new too.
"nah, you're not getting away from me that easy jackson." you chuckled, inhaling his scent. the first time you actually hugged him, and finally find out what was the fuss about his hugs. they were the best. the ones that made you feel safe from everything, even from your thoughts.
"i know, it was stupid of me. i should've guessed the y/n i know wouldn't leave that easly." he finally pulled away, quickly wiping his face with the back of his hand. was he crying?
"hey perce," you finally looked at his eyes. he never saw this soft expression on you, at least not looking at his way. at that moment, he was scared of what he could do to see you looking at him like that all the time.
"yeah?" he asked gently, holding your hands in his. you thought you should return the care, so you caressed his hands with your thumbs.
"thank you." you said. "for, in annabeth's words, destroying that monster. and for getting worried about me."
he smiled. a geniune smile you only saw giving to his friends. "anytime angel, would fight the gods for you." he said, looking at you with puppy eyes.
"i'm sorry for acting like the way i did," you said, ignoring the butterlies dancing in your stomach. "thought you hated me."
"hate you?" he shouted a bit, squeezing your hands. "i never hated you. i thought you hated me."
"i did!" you bluntly said, and that earned a chuckle from him. "because you judged me because of my mother!"
"no! i swear i didn't mean that to happen," he said quickly, sitting close to you. "i was just scared you'd be all.. mean like your mother. but i realised you weren't and i was so late to fix everything. you were already hating me."
you only sighed, and looked at your intertwined hands. it made you touch your foreheads, and he leaned to you gladly. "i was so scared i lost you before i even made it up." he whispered.
"don't worry, i'd haunt you." you laughed, and he laughed along with you.
you pulled away your one hand to caress his cheek, which he accepted the touch happily. his gaze suddenly flickered to your lips, and the next second he was leaning in.
"would you like to know another fact?" he said, grinning like a devil. you nervously smiled, thumb caressing his jawline. "what?"
"i wanted to kiss you for a sickingly long time now," he said quietly, leaning in until your nose touched. you prayed to every olympian that he wouldnt hear your heartbeat, beating crazy inside your ribs.
"yeah? i knew you had a thing for me," you teased, holding his chin in your fingers. he only continued grinning, his breath hitting your lips. "you were stupidly obvious about it."
"i don't give a single fuck," he breathed out before smashing his lips onto yours, eagerly kissing you. his hands cupped your face and you gripped his shirt.
the kiss felt like it was bound to happen. like it was a prophecy becoming true. you secretly knew this would happen eventually, because he indeed was stupidly obvious about his feelings. you always thought percy jackson hated you, but everytime you turned your head, he would be there. standing by your side.
you pulled away only to breath, lips still few inches away. "i had a thing for you too, if you couldn't tell." you chuckled. he let out a breathless laugh, annoyingly hot.
"yeah i figured it out," he said. then he finally looked away from your lips to stare deep in your eyes, grinning. "you're stuck with me now angel. prepare yourself to see me everytime, attached to you by the hip."
"when did i never?"

helloooooo!!!! can i request a percy jackson x daughter of hera!reader headcanons?? it would be pretty interesting to see hera having a child tbh
thank you if you do 💛
percy jackson x daughter of hera!reader summary: hcs for percy with a daughter of hera
Tumblr media
when he first met you he was kinda worried bc he has beef with hera
but he's also confused bc wasn't she not supposed to have kids??
he expected you to be just like your mom
and you lowkey were
but you were a bit less.. uptight
but at the same time, u cant really blame her, her husband literally cheats on her so much
BUT ANYWAYS
i think u'd be so caring to him and he would love it SO MUCH
since hera is the goddess of marriage and childbirth, u would lowk take care of him like hes ur son
but like not in a weird way
u just care ab him so much that u baby him all the time
since both of ur cabins are always empty except for each other, u have sleepovers all the time
u have a pretty close relationship w ur mom, esp because ur her only demigod kid
percy isnt really jealous per say, bc he's decently close w poseidon, but like
he wishes he was that close with him
hera visits u in ur dreams a LOT bc she just loves u a lot
zeus is mad but she dgaf cuz ur her only daughter
and only kid
so obviously she's protective
esp when u tell her that u and percy r dating
shes at camp the next day asking u to introduce her to him
which ur like "mom pls y'all have already met"
and shes like "yes, but never when he was ur bf"
so u just go along w it bc u love her
they're lowk beefing bc she doesnt want u to get hurt
but as time goes on she realizes how much percy loves u and cares abt u
and she thinks ur the cutest couple ever
she is ready for yall to get married bc shes gonna throw the most extravagant and perfect wedding
and shes so excited esp bc ur the only kid she's going to be able to do this for
have i mentioned that she loves u a lot?
ANYWAYS
yk how in like house of hades and i think chalice of the gods when percy looks at annabeth and is js like "i cant wait to marry her and have kids"
yeah, hes like that but 300000x
and he's so excited bc he knows that ur gonna be SUCH a good mom
people always think ur weak bc ur mom "lets herself get cheated on"
or whatever dumbass shit they be saying
but u prove them wrong
mothers r fr the most powerful people in the UNIVERSE
and ur basically a mother bc u take care of everyone at camp
ur always at the infirmary helping the apollo kids bc its just in ur nature to love taking care of people
and percy always comes in with even the smallest little injuries
and it just warms ur heart to know that he wants to come see u even when ur working
u take care of the little baby pegasi too omg
gn thats so cute
imagine if blackjack had a lil baby pegasi and u took care of it
and percy is just like
melting
ur so sweet to them even if theyre "just horses"
it makes him so excited to have kids w u
whenever u see a little kid
or like a younger camper
u always tell him that u cant wait to go to new rome uni and then get married and have kids w him
the two of u are just so excited for the future with each other fr
i just think the two of u would be taking care of the pegasi and u would fall asleep in the hay after staying up talking
big surprise for the kids that have riding lessons that morning...
yall werent embarrassed tho cuz u have no shame fr
well, u have shame
percy has none
not the point.
everyone at camp sorta sees u as a mother and they always come to u
lowk camp therapist
bc they NEED one real bad
but it doesnt bother u bc u love to help them
ur always trying to fix problems at camp
and its very upsetting for you when you cant, and percy is always there to comfort u
ur lowk a meddler like ur mom
but its okay bc ur just worried about ur friends
i think that u would maybe have some soothing powers kinda like a hypnos kid, where u can like calm people down or put them to sleep
i also think that percy would suffer from panic attacks after his nightmares
so after he has a nightmare, you're there and if you can't soothe him with your words you just use ur powers
u can't stand to see him like that
it just upsets you so much
percy is so grateful for ur powers, but hes even more grateful for you
i think ur a lot more relaxed than most people at camp
and u dont really see the point in doing dangerous things for fun
which is different for percy, but he really does like it
he likes that he can just go to you and ask to relax and ur always down for that
its a change of pace that is definitely welcome and necessary in his life
ur definitely more of a rational thinker than him, so u stop him from doing some pretty stupid things
but u would never stop him from having fun
or doing thing that are important to him
ur relationship is lowk the blue print
yall just take care of each other fr
and ur like an old married couple which u two get teased ab
but u dont care
cuz u cant wait to get married lol!
a/n: this was a vv interesting request to write and i honestly loved imagining what a child of hera would be like so thank u for the req!

my peaceful nights belong to you
in which: a son of poseidon has himself convinced a daughter of athena doesn’t want to listen to him complain.
pairing: percy jackson x daughter of athena!reader
warnings: angst, my poor percy has been through TOO MUCH
tropes: hurt/comfort, best friends to lovers
word count: 2.1k
a/n: friendly reminder that request r open (esp for headcanons) and bc I have a four hour layover tmrw I will be absolutely active on here. plz enjoy. also, this is inspired by a tiktok I saw that said Percy's trauma is so overlooked. so here's me not overlooking it.
Tumblr media
All eyes were on the great Percy Jackson.
Yours were, too, don’t be fooled. You had always found him impossible to look away from. But it wasn’t admiration you were studying him with as tales of his quests were told and retold and embellished around the bonfire. Quests you had been on, each and every time.
No, you were watching him with concern.
Because the son of the sea was drowning in all the attention.
It was almost painful for you to watch, but you couldn't look away.
A beautiful train wreck, you supposed, studying Percy's uncomfortable but obliging conversation with one of the newer sons of Ares who hadn't been around for Kronos or Gaea and simply thought fighting in those wars had been fun.
But people had died. Your people, your friends. It was war, and it was painful, and even though you were the daughter of the war goddess, you hated it with every inch of your being.
No amount of planning on your behalf could have saved Beckendorf. There was no stopping Leo from sacrificing himself.
"That's called being a demigod," Percy had told you one day, offhanded, sometime between nearly dying in a volcanic explosion and being stolen from her by Hera.
"That doesn't mean we have to stand idly by and accept it," You had countered, frowning, and Percy must have realized he'd said something that had upset you, because he had pulled you into a hug and muttered an apology you still hadn't worked out was necessary or not.
But what you did know was that he was your best friend, that you had been in love with him since you were both fourteen, and he absolutely did not want to talk about all his past glories like a good little Greek hero.
Seated on a front-row bench with Grover on on side and an assortment of other campers you knew he wasn't close with surrounding him, you knew you had to run a rescue mission.
Especially since Grover was too distracted by eating his marshmallow roasting stick to realize how tense Percy was as the Ares kid went on and on.
"Perce, there you are." You wedged yourself into the not-entirely open spot next to your best friend, smile on your lips and a sly look in your eyes. Percy's own widened in sight relief, his arm wrapping loosely around your shoulders in a casual movement that was entirely too familiar. "Thought you ran off on me."
"Never," He sighed, some of his tension already dissipating. You grinned a little unevenly at him, not wanting to give the others watching any clues that the great Percy Jackson wasn't completely and utterly alright.
"Good," You bumped him with your shoulder, and he squeezed his arm around you for just a brief moment, tugging you close to his side. You had to turn and face the young Ares boy to keep yourself focused. "How are your archery lessons coming?"
The new camper looked slightly put out about the change in conversation, but you pinned your stare on him and didn't back down. For a moment, you thought he would continue to pester Percy with questions about fighting in two wars, even with you sending up very clear signals that neither of you were interested.
But the boy made the right choice, launching into a rant about how long range combat was not his strength.
Halfway through the story about almost shooting Connor Stoll's foot, you felt Percy lean towards you, his breath warm against the shell of your ear as he dropped his voice to a whisper, meant only for you.
"Thank you,"
Since you had taken half a seat, your body was pressed firmly against his from your ankles to your shoulders. His touch warmed your skin like a sunny day on the beach, and you weren't sure if it was a son of Poseidon thing or a Percy Jackson thing.
So instead of answering him, you set one of your hands on his leg, just above his knee, and squeezed.
Tumblr media
The moon was shining over camp when you gave up on finding sleep and decided to sneak out.
You’d been around long enough to know just how to sweet talk Mr. D into letting you be out past curfew, and Chiron had a soft spot for you, since you helped save the world. Twice. It was the harpies catching you that you were afraid of.
Travis Stoll had almost learned the hard way that Mr. D was not kidding about them eating campers.
But children of Athena had passed on the secret to sneaking out through generations, and you were exploiting that very information for a midnight trip to the lake to stargaze there when you spotted movement on the roof of Cabin Three.
Really, you weren't in control of your own actions as you turned swiftly to change course. Maybe it was Tyche with her luck or Aphrodite with her meddling in the affairs of the heart that had you scaling the side of Poseidon's cabin, a path you had taken more than once.
Or maybe, for once, you couldn't blame the gods. Maybe you were the only one making the choices that had you settling on your back beside Percy on the slanted cabin roof.
He hadn't seemed all too surprised to see you, but all he offered in way of greeting was a nod before he returned to studying the sky above.
You only let the silence last for three minutes, a gnawing feeling in the pits of your stomach unable to let it be.
"Do you want to talk about it?" You asked, voiced simultaneously quiet and startlingly loud in the otherwise silent night. With your head turned to watch his side profile, you watched him tumble from his thoughts and back onto that rooftop, with you.
"What?" He was playing coy, you knew him well enough. What you didn't understand was why he was holding back with you, of all people. You, who had been there with him from the night Grover dragged him over Half-Blood Hill. Who had followed him and Grover and Annabeth across the country to save his mom, who fought Luke and Kronos with him, and mourned the loss of so many friends.
You, who hadn't slept for six months when he disappeared, only to find him in New Rome with the claim that he had forgotten everyone and everything but you.
His tether to his life. His best friend. His something more.
"About whatever is bothering you so much tonight." You shot him a flat look, but his was still doing a good job at avoiding your eye. Frowning, you nudged him with your elbow. "I saw you at the bonfire, Perce. Something is eating at you."
For a moment, it was silent. And then Percy drew in a deep breath, like he was readying himself for something, but he still hadn't looked at you.
"I guess I’ve just been thinking about just… everything." He sighed, but you could hear the apprehension and exhaustion in his voice. He was still keeping things back, but you couldn't understand why. And that killed you, as a child of Athena. "I've been fighting since I—we—were twelve. It's too..."
"Too what?" You prompted when he trailed off, his voice dying in the warm night air. Your hand brushed against his on the rooftop between your bodies, and you considered the risks of just grabbing his hand and squeezing to offer comfort while he sorted through his thoughts.
"Forget it." He shook his head, and your heart sunk. "You don’t want to hear me complain."
You frowned, twisting to face the sky and wracking your Athena blessed mind for some way to prove to him that you did, in fact, want to hear it. You wanted to hear anything, ever, that he had to say.
But when words failed you, actions didn’t, and you finally stopped pretending to accidentally brush your pinky against his and just wrapped your hand around his.
You both stayed like that for a while, quiet and thinking, until you turned your head to face him, unsurprised to find a stormy look on his face while he still studied the stars. Maybe he was thinking of Zoë, of all the others the two of you had lost over the years.
But you were thinking about him, only.
"I’ve been fighting with you since you came to camp," Your words were quiet, little more than a summer’s breeze brushing across Percy’s skin, but you knew he heard you. "But maybe now we’re not fighting monsters anymore. Maybe we’re fighting the memories and scars they left behind. But I’m still fighting with you, Percy."
He turned his head, then, his eyes finding yours like they were always meant to. And, deep down, part of you knew they were.
Every shared glance during combat, or after a stupid joke, or when a battle ended and all either of you could do was search the carnage for a hint of the other—those eyes had found you.
"I’m just so scared I’ll never get to live my life.” Percy confessed, voice hauntingly hollow. You squeezed his hand, and he squeezed back like a lifeline. “I don’t know if I’m running away from what’s already happened or into the next big mess. And what if next time… what if…"
He trailed off, eyes wide in panic, a bit of desperation. You squeezed his hand again, because you couldn’t give him the words. He needed to find them himself.
Percy screwed his eyes shut and darted forward, slotting his mouth over yours in an unexpected, horribly angled kiss. Teeth clashed together, your bottom lip caught in the mayhem and you gasped at the slight bite of pain.
He jumped back like you had burned him, propped up on one arm as he leaned on his side next to you.
"I, shit, I shouldn’t have—" He fumbled for words, already trying to shuffle further away from you, but you held tight onto his hand to keep him close, sitting up to follow him. "Please, let’s just forget about this, okay? I just, I got caught up in everything and—"
"Tell me you didn’t want to kiss me, then." You promoted, brows knitted together as you studied his face, desperate for a glimpse of how he was feeling revealed to you in the moonlight. "Because if you can’t say it meant nothing to you, you need to tell me, right now."
"I… can’t say it."
And just like that, you were the one kissing him, one hand curving around the back of his neck to keep him close while the other remained threaded through his fingers. His free hand reached up to cup your cheek, thumb brushing against your skin as if he needed confirmation that this was real, that you were real.
When you finally pulled apart to breathe, you didn’t go far. Not from him. Never from him.
"I was worried next time I wouldn’t get the chance to do that." Percy finished his thought from before, a little dazed from the kiss you both had been long awaiting, apparently. You smiled softly and closed your eyes, pressing your forehead against his.
"If you’re running towards the next prophecy, I’ll run with you." You promised, pausing only briefly to shift your position so you and Percy were laying on the roof again, only this time your head was propped on his chest and his arm was wrapped securely around you. "But if you want to sit up here and talk about the monsters you’re running from, I’ll do that, too."
"Thank you." He echoed his words from the earlier bonfire. And you could tell from his voice that he really was thankful. Because as tough as he was, Percy Jackson was still half mortal. "I…" He started, the air thick with tension about what he was going to confess. "I keep having dreams about Tartarus."
You let him talk, devoting your attention and mind to him, tracing shapes and stars and waves against his chest by your head while he spoke.
Time moved quickly that way, with talk of his fears and what weighed heavily on his mind broken up only when his throat would clog with emotion and you would tilt your head up to kiss away the memory long enough for him to regain his composure.
Because no one knew him better than you, and he didn't have to be the great Percy Jackson with you.
He could just be Percy, the boy who was haunted by his past and terrified of his future.
And you would give him all of your peaceful nights for him to have only one.

Can you write Jason x Daughter of Hecate? Both of them are on the Argo 2 btw. Jason is dating Piper but he starts to fall in love with the reader who already likes him? She also has a bestie who is a daughter of Hermes. Reader is a recrenation of Helen of Troy, who is put into an endless cycle of heartbreak but when she meets Jason the cycle gets broken. But she is really afraid of falling in love. Sorry if I am being to specific 😭😭
there is no such thing as too specific!! in fact the more details i see in a request the more excited i get.

You wouldn’t expect a massive celestial bronze trireme to feel quite as cramped as it does. That’s no insult to Leo Valdez, chief engineer and designer extraordinaire, of course— this would happen to any ship, any vessel, that happened to be host to eight demigods on a constant blend of nerves and adrenaline.
Leo did his best to make the Argo II roomy, but when you’re cruising at cloud level, even a floating mansion would seem like cramped quarters. Were it not for the fact that most of you are best friends with at least one other person on the ship, you’re certain fights would break out more often. That, and the fact that the fate of the world literally depends on all of you staying alive.
So the stakes are high, what of it? They’ve been high before. You, daughter of Hecate, have been around your fair share of fights. You bled in the Battle of Manhattan. You held off a line of Titans and monsters so Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase could kill Kronos. This is not your first life-or-death scenario, nor will it be the last.
It just happens to be different, that’s all. At least the danger is obvious on a battlefield, all you have to do is look for who’s trying to kill you and go from there. Up in the air, though, everything is a tense battle of waiting for something to go wrong, for the destination to come, for your journey to end.
Waiting is hard, especially for a bunch of demigods who were all hardwired to never sit still. This forces the lot of you to get some better hobbies than punching the occasional wall or talking each other senseless. For some of you, that involves sparring practice, attempts at reading books, or fixing the ship.
For others, attempts to pass the time end up more complex than you’d originally hoped. There is someone on this ship who might mean the world to you if you’d only let him, someone who you think might even have feelings for you. That person is also currently in a relationship with one Piper McLean, and that person is Jason Grace.
Jason is somewhat of an enigma to you. He has no past that makes sense, no future he can understand. Jason grew up in the Roman camp, then was dragged away from it by Hera. Unlike Percy, though, Jason doesn’t seem to be as immediately called back to his homeland upon regaining his memories.
Jason also has a girlfriend who believed they were dating due to false memories given to her by that same meddlesome goddess of marriage. Piper is a good friend of hers, you hold no resentment with her, but you do have to wonder if she’s ever thought about how little of the start of her relationship was real. To Piper, she was dating Jason for weeks before the incident at the Grand Canyon that brought both of them to Camp Half-Blood. To Jason, none of that existed at all.
It would confuse anyone, to say the least. All appeared to be well, though, and Jason and Piper got together again for real not long after that. You’d believe that was a sign they were meant to be were it not for one thing and one thing only:  Jason does not appear to be in love with her.
This, of course, is a horrible thing to say, but it’s true. Jason likes Piper. You all do. She’s a wonderful person to be around. That being said, you’ve seen what love looks like in many other demigods and many other friends, and whatever is racing through Jason’s heart is not that. He has more chemistry with– well, with you, and that’s something else entirely.
It started happening a few weeks before the Argo II set sail. You were at Camp Half-Blood a couple of years before Jason, Piper, and Leo arrived, one of the dozens of unclaimed kids stuffed in the Hermes cabin. Once Percy extracted his promise from the gods, you were claimed by Hecate, and the numbers in your godly mother’s cabin are now growing by the day. You met Jason when he first showed up, but you only got to talking once he came back from his quest to save Hera. Those few months during the construction of the Argo II were some of the best in your life, and not just because you were finally in a cabin of your true godly half-siblings.
No, that was because of Jason. At first, you had brushed him off as a typical blond boy in search of rules to follow, but you were quickly proven wrong. Jason is funny, making jokes you wouldn’t expect from someone of his leadership prowess. He’s quick to defend anyone in need of assistance, but more than willing to stand back and watch people grow by themselves. He’s kind of sort of perfect, actually, and you can understand why Piper would fall in love with him.
This makes it sound as if you were in love with Jason yourself, and no matter what he might feel about you, this will not be the case. If it were not enough for you to be the daughter of the witch goddess, you’re also on the receiving end of a rather nasty curse. Reincarnation, to be precise. The reincarnation of Helen of Troy. What a wonderful fate to receive.
Helen, as it may be obvious, did not exactly have the best fate regarding love. The prize of Paris’ decision of a contest between three goddesses, Helen was carted from Sparta to Troy, thus causing the Trojan War. As a result, you were condemned to face an endless cycle of heartbreak after heartbreak. Your mother even told you about that the one time you met her. She appeared to you in a vision, told you about your status as someone destined for ruin in love, then left just as quickly. Hecate is not exactly kind, but neither is magic. It is merely a tool to help or hurt when the time is right.
Still, it was enough information to let you know that nothing could ever happen with Jason. Even if he stayed loving you the way he does know, even if you allowed yourself to fall in love with him, heartbreak would follow just as surely as the Achaeans followed the Trojans to win back Helen. There is no path here that results in anything but devastation for you.
Jason knows of your reincarnation. Everyone at camp does. That hasn’t stopped him from developing feelings, however. You’ve seen the way he looks at you, how his eyes soften every time you smile, how you’re always the first one he searches for in a crowd when he wins a sword fight in the training yard. It’s you then Piper, and surely there must be a reason for that.
There was a night, once, when you thought he might finally confess. Two days after he came back from his quest, Jason found you after the sun set and sat with you on the beach. No one was around, no one dared come close. The night breeze made you shiver, and he gave you his jacket without a single second of hesitation.
The two of you had been complacent in pleasant quiet for a while before Jason dared to speak. He told you something important, something about how he had thought of you every day he was gone from camp. He said that even though he had no memories left, he knew what it was to want someone when they were gone. He paused, waited for you to say something, and was interrupted by the sound of footsteps coming your way.
You both had to head to your cabins after that; it was after curfew, after all, and Jason Grace would never bode well with breaking a rule. It was good that you hurried, then, as there was nobody around for miles. You had summoned up the sound of approaching people, it’s an easy spell to do. So easy that Jason might have guessed at your intent. Maybe that was why he sighed the way he did when you parted ways that night.
The jacket is still in your trunk somewhere back at camp. You were always too afraid of facing him again to give it back. Jason might have considered that a sign of something you couldn’t say. You might, too.
It’s getting to you, you can admit that freely. Trying to run from Jason isn’t a fate you can pursue forever, especially not when the two of you are both on the same ship in the same sky. There are too many chances for hands to brush, gazes to meet, words to be whispered.
When you feel like you might give in, you turn to the only resource you’ve ever needed:  your best friend. Stella Rodriguez is a daughter of Hermes, someone you’ve grown to consider a sister. You met her when you were first placed in the Hermes cabin before your claiming, and the two of you have stayed thick as thieves even after you moved out.
Finding an empty room on the Argo II can be difficult, so you make do with a broom closet of an armory. Sliding down to the floor, you lean your back up against the wall and grab a spray bottle of water you’d brought for just this purpose. You’ve become a pro at summoning up Iris messages, and you do so now with a flourish.
Stella answers almost immediately. “Is that my favorite demigod?”
You grin. “You’re not supposed to have favorites, you know. You have too many half-siblings for that to work out.”
Stella rolls her eyes. “We’re best friends, we get to be favorites. How’s the quest going? Saved any lives yet?”
“Oh, always,” you laugh, “but that’s not what I’m here to discuss.”
Stella arches a brow. “What’s gone wrong?”
You frown. “I don’t like that tone, but you’re right to have your doubts.”
You open your mouth to tell her about the situation with Jason, but you recognize footsteps at the door. “Actually, scratch that, I’m going to have to tell you later. Someone’s coming.”
Stella starts to complain about you gatekeeping obvious demigod drama from her, but you wave your hand through the mist and her arguments are cut off halfway through. Sure enough, your suspicions are correct:  mere moments after Stella’s face disappears from in front of you, Jason opens the door and peers inside.
“I thought I heard voices,” he says, “I’ve been looking for Leo, is he in here?”
You shake your head. “Just an Iris message, sorry. You might want to try the engine room.”
Jason’s brow furrows at the thought. “Actually, I think I’m good. He wanted me for some kind of ship-fixing chore, maybe it’s for the best that I hide up here for a while. Do you mind if I stay a little longer?”
You shake your head, gesturing at the empty space next to you. “No problem.”
Jason slumps to the floor, head back against the wall. “Who were you talking to, if you don’t mind me asking? Someone special back at camp?”
He tries to play it off as joking, but something deep in his tone makes you think otherwise. “My best friend,” you clarify, “you remember Stella from Hermes, right?”
Jason does his best not to seem impossibly relieved, but he doesn’t do a perfect job of it. “I do. No special someones, then?”
“No one,” you say, “It just doesn’t work out well for me, I’ve learned that the hard way. The love thing is– complicated.” That’s putting it lightly. The last time a version of you was caught in between two men, she caused the fall of Troy and the deaths of hundreds of warriors. It’s not great, to say the least.
Jason exhales in a hiss through his teeth. “Yeah, I can see that. I get complicated, though. Something about waking up with no memories and finding out not one but two different girls think they have the right to date me gets pretty confusing.”
You laugh. “Not the worst problem in the world.”
Jason grimaces, shaking his head slightly as he tries to clarify. “No, I didn’t mean it like that. It’s just weird, you know? Piper had all these memories of us being in a relationship that ended up being fake. And Reyna–”
His voice trails off slightly, but he manages to regain his rhythm a moment or two later. “Reyna knew a version of me I don’t think exists anymore. Same thing with the one Piper was dating. I don’t think either of them know who I am.”
“Do you know?” You ask gently.
Jason shrugs, staring out into space. “Some days I know more than others. It’s just frustrating because I have these memories of being at the Roman camp, and I have these expectations of who I should be, I don’t think they’re me anymore. I don’t know what I’m supposed to be at all.”
You reach over to put a gentle hand on his shoulder. “You don’t have to know. We’ve got our whole lives ahead of us to decide. Try to stay alive long enough to figure that out, huh?”
Jason chokes out a surprised laugh. “What, you think I’ll manage to sort out my whole personality in the limited lifespan of a demigod?”
You crack a grin. “Hey, we’re already past sixteen, I’d consider that beating the odds fairly well. Maybe we’ll live to die of old age.”
Jason whistles under his breath. “Wouldn’t that be something? I feel like I wouldn’t know what to do with myself, though. You spend all that time running around, trying not to die, and when you finally get a quiet life, you feel useless.”
“Quiet’s not so bad,” you muse, “it doesn’t mean you have to be alone, just that you’re not in grave danger anymore.”
“Being with someone wouldn’t be the worst,” Jason agrees.
He looks over at you out of the corner of his eye, a quiet, unguarded look that makes your stomach tie itself in knots. You realize your hand is still on his shoulder; Jason must have known it too, but he clearly hasn’t moved a muscle lest he remind you of it. All of a sudden, the walls of the armory feel far too close, the ceiling curving down to trap you inside a bronze cage. This is getting too similar a situation to what you’ve been afraid of all along. Your heart has been broken many, many times before, so you’re used to the sensation, but you get the feeling that this rough closure with Jason will cut deeper than any other if you let it develop any further.
You all but snatch your hand from him. Jason’s face falls, but he manages to cover up the slip in his expression with true neutral in a flash. That’s the sign of the praetor in him, you suppose, but it doesn’t stop either of you from hurting for it.
Jason stands up abruptly, a shoot of legs and quick steps. “I think I hear someone calling me,” he says awkwardly, “I’d better go.”
It’s a lie, but it gets both of you out of a terrible situation, so you let it be. You raise one hand in a halfhearted farewell and pretend like you can’t see the fact that Jason wants to stay. The armory is far more cold and quiet when Jason is gone, and you wonder what it is about the son of Zeus that makes you want to learn your reincarnation’s lesson one more treacherous time.
Stella has a lot to say on the matter when you finally get around to calling her back. Most of her tirade has to do with the fact that you need to stop worrying about stupid curses and just see what happens. Even if you get your heart broken, dragging this out even longer is just going to make this worse. So she claims, at least.
You were going to ignore that and go on suffering through the reincarnation versus the appeal of Jason nonsense when something happened to make you feel otherwise. You’re talking late with Annabeth one night when she casually mentions that Piper and Jason broke up. A few weeks ago, actually. Mutual agreement, no hearts broken. They both agreed that they were basically just friends anyway.
You did your best to seem casual about asking more, but you’re certain that Annabeth saw through it anyway. No matter; this is important news, and sometimes that has to be reacted to appropriately. There’s nothing you can do about it right now, though, not until later. Not until you’re certain that what you hope could happen will happen.
You find Jason a couple of days later. Maybe he finds you. The method doesn’t really matter, only the end result.
He says:  Would you love me? If I swore to never break your heart?
You say:  You can’t make that promise.
He says:  I can try.
Every time your Helen of Troy-ordained cycle of heartbreak starts, you can physically feel something in your heart change. It’s a snapping sensation, like a broken bone or tripped wire. When Jason kisses you, you wait for the gods-awful mechanism to be engaged. It never happens.
requested by @sakuraazharuno, i hope you enjoy!!

Seeing the Beauty (Piper McLean x Fem!Jackson!Reader) - Chapter 9
Series Masterlist
Main Masterlist
Tumblr media
Jason doesn't want to leave Leo, but he starts to think that hanging out with Cal the hockey jock might be the least dangerous option in this place.
As they climb the icy staircase, Zethes stays behind them, his blade drawn. The guy might look like a disco-era reject, but there is nothing funny about his sword. Jason figures that one hit from that thing would probably turn him into a Popsicle.
Then there is the ice princess. Every once in a while, she'd turn and give Jason a smile, but there is no warmth in her expression. She regards Jason like he is an especially interesting science specimen – one she couldn't wait to dissect.
(Y/n) doesn't seem to notice, but Jason keeps catching the ice princess watching her closely, her eyes greedy.
(Y/n) was worried that they were being led into a trap. If things go bad, she isn't sure that she could get them out alive. Without thinking about it, she takes Piper's hand for reassurance.
The daughter of Aphrodite raises her eyebrows, but doesn't let go. "It'll be fine," Piper says softly. "It's just a talk, right?"
At the top of the stairs, the ice princess looks back and notices the two teens holding hands. Her smile fades. Suddenly, (Y/n)'s hand in Piper's turns ice cold – burning cold. She lets go, her fingers smoking with frost, and so are Piper's.
"Holy fuck," (Y/n) mutters for the second time in less than twenty-four hours.
"Warmth is not a good idea here," the princess advises, "especially when I am your best change at staying alive. Please, this way."
Piper gives (Y/n) a nervous frown like, What was that about?
(Y/n) doesn't have an answers. Zethes pokes her in the back with his icicle sword, about half an inch above the small of her back, and a warning signal goes off in (Y/n)'s head – Too close! Too close!
They follow the princess down a massive hallway decked in frosty tapestries.
Freezing winds blow back and forth, and Jason's thoughts move almost as fast. He'd had a lot of time to think while they rode the dragon north, but he feels as confused as ever. Thalia's picture is still in his pocket, though he doesn't need to look at it anymore – her image has burned itself into his mind. It is bad enough not remembering his past, but to know he has a sister out there somewhere who might have the answer and to have no way of finding her. The only thing he knew about Thalia was (Y/n)'s comment earlier about how a statue of Hera had broken her legs.
In the picture, Thalia looks nothing like him. They both have blue eyes, but that is it. Her hair is black, and her complexion is more Mediterranean. Her facial features are sharper – like a hawk's.
Still, Thalia looks so familiar. Hera had left him just enough memory that he could be certain Thalia is his sister. But Annabeth had acted completely surprised when he'd told her, like she'd never heard of Thalia's having a brother. Did Thalia even know about him? How had they been separated?
(Y/n) continues to walk down the hall beside Piper, and she starts questioning the warning signal that had gone off in her head.
The River Styx's current swirls with strange objects – broken toys, ripped-up college diplomas, wilted homecoming corsages – all the dreams people had thrown away as they'd passed from life into death. Looking at the black water, (Y/n) can think of about three million places she'd rather swim.
"So," Percy begins. "We just jump in?
"You have to prepare yourself first," Nico says, "or the river will destroy you. It will burn away your body and soul."
"Sounds fun," (Y/n) mutters.
"This is no joke," Nico warns. There is only one way to stay anchored to your mortal life. You have to . . ." He glances behind the two children of Poesideon and his eyes widen. Percy and (Y/n) turn and find themselves face-to-face with a Greek warrior.
For a second, Percy thinks he's Ares, because the warrior looked exactly like the god of war – tall and buff, with a cruel, scarred face and closely shaven black hair. He is wearing a white tunic and bronze armor. He holds a plumed war helm under his arm, but his eyes are human – pale green like a shallow sea – and a blood arrow sticks out of his left calf, just above the ankle.
Percy stunk at Greek names, but even he knew the greatest warrior of all time, who had died from a wounded heel.
"Achilles," both (Y/n) and Percy say in unison.
The ghost nods. "I warned the other one not to follow my path. Now I will warn you." He looks first at Percy, and then at (Y/n).
"Luke? You spoke with Luke?" (Y/n) asks, frowning slightly.
"Do not do this," he says. "It will make you powerful. But it will also make you weak. Your prowess in combat will be beyond any mortal's, but your weakness, your failings will increase as well."
"You mean I'll have a bad heel?" Percy asks. "Couldn't we just, like, wear something besides sandals? No offense?"
Achilles stares down at his bloody foot. "The heel is only my physical weakness, demigod. My mother, Thetis, held me there when she dipped me into the Styx. What really killed me was my own arrogance. Beware! Turn back!"
And (Y/n) knows he means it. There is regret and bitterness in his voice. He was honestly trying to save them from a terrible fate.
But then again – Luke hadn't turned back. That's why he had been able to host the spirit of Kronos without his body disintegrating. This is how he'd prepared himself, and why he seemed impossible to kill. He'd bathed in the Styx and taken on the power of the greatest moral hero, Achilles. He was invincible.
(Y/n) exchanges a look with her brother.
"We have to," (Y/n) speaks for both of them. "Otherwise, we don't stand a chance."
Achilles lowers his head. "Let the gods witness that I tried. Heroes, if you mist do this, concentrate on your moral point. Imagine one spot of your body that will remain vulnerable. THis is the point where your soul will anchor your body to the world. It will be your greatest weakness, but also your only hope. No moral must be completely invulnerable. Lose sight of what keeps you moral, and the River Styx will burn you to ashes. You will cease to exist."
"I don't suppose you could tell us Luke's mortal point?" Percy asks.
He scowls at Percy. "Prepare yourself, foolish boy. Whether you survive this or not, you have sealed your doom!"
With that happy thought, he vanishes.
"Percy," Nico says, "maybe he's right."
"This was your idea."
"I know, but now that we're here—"
"Just wait on the shore. If anything happens to us . . . Well, maybe Hades will get his wish, and you'll be the child of the prophecy after all."
He doesn't look pleased about that, but (Y/n) doesn't care.
Before she could change her mind, (Y/n) concentrates on the small of her back — a tiny point just opposite her navel, a point well defended when she wore her armor. It would be hard to hit by accident, and few enemies would aim for it on purpose. No place is perfect, but this seemed right to her, and a lot more dignified than, like, her armpit or something.
(Y/n) pictures a string, a bungee cord connecting her to the world from the small of her back. And (Y/n) and Percy step into the river.
"Hey," Piper's voice tears (Y/n) back to the present. She touches (Y/n)'s arm. "You still with me?"
"Yeah . . . I . . . Yeah, sorry," (Y/n) murmurs, and Piper meet's (Y/n)'s gaze for a moment.
(Y/n) is grateful for Piper. She needed a friend, and (Y/n) is glad she started losing the Aphrodite blessing. Her makeup is fading, and her hair is slowly going back to its old choppy style with the cute little braids down the sides. It made her look more real, and as far as (Y/n) is concerned, more beautiful.
She is sure now that they'd never known each other before the Grand Canyon. Their friendship was just a trick of the Mist in Piper's mind, but the longer (Y/n) spends with her, the more she wishes it had been real. That she had known Piper longer than a day and a half.
Stop that, she tells herself. It isn't fair to Piper, thinking that way.
At the end of the hallway, the demigods find themselves in front of a set of oaken doors carved with a map of the world. In each corner is a man's bearded face, blowing wind. (Y/n) is pretty sure she'd seen maps like this before, but in this version, all the wind guys are Winter, blowing ice and snow from every corner of the world.
The princess turns. Her brown eyes glitter, and Jason feels like he is a Christmas present she is hoping to open. "This is the throne room," she says. "Be on your best behavior, Jason Grace. My father can be . . . chilly. I will translate for you, and try to encourage him to hear you out. I do hope he spares you. We could have such fun."
Jason guesses this girl's definition of fun was not the same as his. "Um, okay," he manages. "But really, we're just here for a little talk. We'll be leaving right afterward."
The princess smiles. "I love heroes. So blissfully ignorant."
Piper rests her hand on her dagger. "Well, how about you enlighten us? You say you're going to translate for us, and we don't even know who you are. What's your name?"
The girl sniffs with distaste. "I suppose I shouldn't be surprised you don't recognize me. Even in the ancient times the Greeks did not know me well. Their island homes were too warm, too far from my domain. I am Khione, daughter of Boreas, goddess of snow."
She stirs the air with her finger, and a miniature blizzard swirls around her – big, fluffy flakes as soft as cotton.
"Now come," Khione says. The oaken door blows open, and cold blue light spills out of the room. "Hopefully you will survive your little talk."
Mist hangs in the air. (Y/n) shivers, slipping her hands into the pockets of her jacket, and she clutches her pen in her pocket. Along the walls, purple tapestries show scenes of snowy forests, barren mountains, and glaciers. High above, ribbons of colored light — the aurora borealis — pulses along the ceiling. A layer of snow covers the floor, so (Y/n) has to step carefully. All around the room stand life-size ice sculpture warriors — some in Greek armor, some medieval, some in modern camouflage — all frozen in various attack positions, swords raised, guns locked and loaded.
At least Jason thought they were sculptures. Then he tries to step between two Greek spearmen, and they move with surprising speed, their joints cracking and spraying ice crystals as they cross their javelins to block Jason's path.
From the far end of the hall, a man's voice rings out in a language that sounds like French. The room is so long and misty, Jason can't see the other end; but whatever the man says, the ice guards uncross their javelins.
"It's fine," Khione says. "My father has ordered them not to kill you just yet."
"Super," Jason replies.
Zethes prods him in the back with his sword. "Keep moving, Jason Junior."
"Please don't call me that."
"My father is not a patient man," Zethes warns, "and the beautiful Piper, sadly, is losing her magic hairdo very fast. Later, perhaps, I can lend her something from my wide assortment of hair products."
"Thanks," Piper grumbles.
They keep walking, and the mist parts to reveal a man on an ice throne. He is sturdily built, dressed in a stylish white suit that seems woven from snow, with dark purple wings that spread out to either side. His long hair and shaggy beard are encrusted with icicles, so (Y/n) can't tell if his hair is gray or just white with frost. His arched eyebrows make him look angry, but his eyes twinkle more warmly than his daughter's — as if he might have a sense of humor buried somewhere under that permafrost. (Y/n) hoped so.
"Bienvenu," the king says. "Je suis Boreas Le Roi. Et vous?"
Khione the snow goddess is about to speak, but Piper steps forward and curtsied. "Votre Majesté," she says. "Je suis Piper McLean. Et voici Jason, fils de Zeus. Et (Y/n) Jackson, fille de Poséidon."
The king smiles with pleasant surprise. "Vous parlez français? Très bien!"
"Piper, you speak French?" (Y/n) asks.
Piper frowns. "No. Why?"
"You just spoke French."
Piper blinks. "I did?" The king said something else, and Piper nodded. "Oui, Votre Majesté."
The king laughs and claps his hands, obviously delighted. He says a few more sentences then sweeps his hand toward his daughter as if shooing her away.
Khione looks miffed. "The king says –"
"He says I'm a daughter of Aphrodite," Piper interrupts, "so naturally I can speak French, which is the language of love. I had no idea. His Majesty says Khione won't have to translate now.
Behind them, Zethes snorts, and Khione shoots him a murderous look. She bows stiffly to her father and takes a step back.
The king sizes up Jason, and Jason decides it would be a good idea to bow. "Your Majesty, I'm Jason Grace. Thank you for, urn, not killing us. May I ask . . . why does a Greek god speak French?"
Piper has another exchange with the king. "He speaks the language of his host country," Piper translates. "He says all gods do this. Most Greek gods speak English, as they now reside in the United States, but Boreas was never welcomed in their realm. His domain was always far to the north. These days he likes Quebec, so he speaks French."
The king says something else, and Piper turns pale. "The king says . . ." She falters. "He says —"
"Oh, allow me," Khione says, smirking. "My father says he has orders to kill you. Did I not mention that earlier?"
(Y/n) tenses. The king was still smiling amiably, like he'd just delivered great news."Kill us?" (Y/n) asks. "Why?"
"Because," the king says, in heavily accented English, "my lord Aeolus has commanded it."
Boreas rises. He steps down from his throne and furls his wings against his back. As he approaches, Khione and Zethes bow. Jason, (Y/n), and Piper follow their example.
"I shall deign to speak your language," Boreas says, "as Piper McLean has honored me in mine. Toujours, I have had a fondness for the children of Aphrodite. As for you, Jason Grace, my master Aeolus would not expect me to kill a son of Lord Zeus . . . without first hearing you out." Boreas then sizes up (Y/n). "As for you, Jackson. I'm sure your upstart father wouldn't mind. He has replacements."
Piper watches (Y/n)'s jaw tense, and (Y/n) pulls a hand from her pocket, still clutching her pen. If she was forced to fight, Piper doesn't like her friend's chances. Two seconds at least to summon her blade. Then she'd be facing a god, two of his children, and an army of freeze-dried warriors.
"Aeolus is the master of the winds, right?" Jason asks quickly, taking Boreas's attention off of (Y/n). "Why would he want us dead?"
"You are demigods," Boreas replies, as if this explained everything. "Aeolus's job is to contain the winds, and demigods have always caused him many headaches. They ask him for favors. They unleash winds and cause chaos. But the final insult was the battle with Typhon last summer . . ."
Boreas waves his hand, and a sheet of ice like a flat-screen TV appears in the air. Images of a battle flicker across the surface — a giant wrapped in storm clouds, wading across a river toward the Manhattan skyline. Tiny, glowing figures — the gods, Jason guesses — swarm around him like angry wasps, pounding the monster with lightning and fire. Finally the river erupts in a massive whirlpool, and the smoky form sinks beneath the waves and disappears.
"The storm giant, Typhon," Boreas explains. "The first time the gods defeated him, eons ago, he did not die quietly. His death released a host of storm spirits — wild winds that answered to no one. It was Aeolus's job to track them all down and imprison them in his fortress. The other gods — they did not help. They did not even apologize for the inconvenience. It took Aeolus centuries to track down all the storm spirits, and naturally this irritated him. Then, last summer, Typhon was defeated again —"
"And his death released another wave of venti," Jason guesses. "Which made Aeolus even angrier."
"C'est vrai," Boreas agreed.
"But, Your Majesty," Piper says, "the gods had no choice but to battle Typhon. He was going to destroy Olympus! Besides, why punish demigods for that?"
The king shrugs. "Aeolus cannot take out his anger on the gods. They are his bosses, and very powerful. So he gets even with the demigods who helped them in the war. He issued orders to us: demigods who come to us for aid are no longer to be tolerated. We are to crush your little mortal faces."
There is an uncomfortable silence.
"That sounds . . . extreme," Jason ventures. "But you're not going to crush our faces yet, right? You're going to listen to us first, 'cause once you hear about our quest —''
"Nfes, yes," the king agrees. "You see, Aeolus also said that a son of Zeus might seek my aid, and if this happened, I should listen to you before destroying you, as you might — how did he put it? — make all our lives very interesting. I am only obligated to listen, however. After that, I am free to pass judgment as I see fit. But I will listen first. Khione wishes this also. It may be that we will not kill you."
Jason feels like he can almost breathe again. "Great. Thanks."
"Do not thank me." Boreas smiles. "There are many ways you could make our lives interesting. Sometimes we keep demigods for our amusement, as you can see." He gestures to the various ice statues.
Piper makes a strangled noise. "You mean – they're all demigods? Frozen demigods? They're alive?"
"An interesting question," Boreas concedes, as if it had never occurred to him before. "They do not move unless they are obeying my orders. The rest of the time, They are merely frozen. Unless they were to melt, I suppose, which would be very messy.
Khione steps behind (Y/n), and places her cold fingers on her neck. "My father gives me such lovely presents," she murmurs in (Y/n)'s ear. "Join our court. Perhaps I'll let your friends go."
"What?" Zethes breaks in. "If Khione gets this one, then I deserve the girl. Khione always gets more presents!"
"Now, children," Boreas says sternly. "Our guests will think you are spoiled! Besides, you moved too fast. We have not even heard the demigod's story yet. Then we will decide what to do with them. Please, Jason Grace, entertain us."
Jason feels his brain shutting down. He doesn't look at (Y/n) or Piper for fear he'd completely lose it. He'd gotten them into this, and now they are going to die — or worse, they'd be amusements for Boreas's children and end up frozen forever in this throne room, slowly corroding from freezer burn.
Khione purrs, padding over to Jason, and stroking his neck. Jason doesn't plan it, but electricity sparks along his skin. There is loud pop, and Khione flies backward, skidding across the floor.
Zethes laughs. "That is good! I'm glad you did that, even though I have to kill you now."
For a moment, Khione is too stunned to react. Then the air around her begins to swirl with a micro-blizzard. "You dare —"
"Stop," Jason orders, with as much force as he can muster. "You're not going to kill us. And you're not going to keep us. We're on a quest for the queen of the gods herself, so unless you want Hera busting down your doors, you're going to let us go." He sounds a lot more confident than he feels, but it gets their attention. Khione's blizzard swirls to a stop. Zethes lowers his sword. They both look uncertainty at their father.
"Hmm," Boreas says. His eyes twinkle, but Jason can't tell if it is with anger or amusement. "A son of Zeus, favored by Hera? This is definitely a first. Tell us your story."
Jason would've botched it right there. He hadn't been expecting to get the chance to talk, and now that he could, his voice abandoned him.
Piper saves him. "Your Majesty." She curtsies again with incredible poise, considering her life is on the line. She tell Boreas the whole story, from the Grand Canyon to the prophecy, much better and faster than Jason could have.
"All we ask for is guidance," Piper concludes. "These storm spirits attacked us, and they're working for some evil mistress. If we find them, maybe we can find Hera."
The king strokes the icicles in his beard. Out the windows, night had fallen, and the only light comes from the aurora borealis overhead, washing everything in red and blue.
"I know of these storm spirits," Boreas says. "I know where they are kept, and of the prisoner they took."
"You mean Coach Hedge?" (Y/n) questions. "He's alive?"
Boreas waves aside the question. "For now. But the one who controls these storm winds . . . It would be madness to oppose her. You would be better staying here as frozen statues."
"Hera's in trouble," Jason says. "In three days she's going to be — I don't know — consumed, destroyed, something. And a giant is going to rise."
"Yes," Boreas agrees. He shoots Khione an angry look. "Many horrible things are waking. Even my children do not tell me all the news they should. The Great Stirring of monsters that began with Kronos – your father Zeus foolishly believed it would end when the Titans were defeated." The king glances at (Y/n) and Piper and Jason look at the daughter of Poesidon. "But just as it was before, so it is now. The final battle is yet to come, and the one who will wake is more terrible than any Titan. Storm spirits — these are only beginning. The earth has many more horrors to yield up. When monsters no longer stay in Tartarus, and souls are no longer confined to Hades . . . Olympus has good reason to fear."
Jason isn't sure what all this means, but he doesn't like the way Khione is smiling — like this is her definition of fun.
"So you'll help us?" Jason asks the king.
Boreas scowls. "I did not say that."
"Please, Your Majesty," Piper says. Everyone's eyes turn towards her. She had to be scared out of her mind, but she looks beautiful and confident — and it has nothing to do with the blessing of Aphrodite. She looks like herself again, in day-old traveling clothes with choppy hair and no makeup. But she almost glows with warmth in that cold throne room. "If you tell us where the storm spirits are, we can capture them and bring them to Aeolus. You'd look good in front of your boss. Aeolus might pardon us and the other demigods. We could even rescue Gleeson Hedge. Everyone wins."
"She's pretty," Zethes mumbles. "I mean, she's right."
"Father, don't listen to her," Khione says. "She's a child of Aphrodite. She dares to charmspeak a god? Freeze her now!"
Boreas considers this. Jason slips his hand in his pocket and gets ready to bring out the gold coin. If things go wrong, he'd have to move fast.
The movement catches Boreas's eye. "What is that on your forearm, demigod?"
Jason hadn't realized his coat sleeve had gotten pushed up, revealing the edge of his tattoo. Reluctantly, he shows Boreas his marks.
The god's eyes widen. Khione actually hisses and steps away.
Then Boreas does something unexpected. He laughs so loudly, an icicle cracks from the ceiling and crashes next to his throne. The god's form begins to flicker. His beard disappears. He grows taller and thinner, and his clothes change into a Roman toga, lined with purple. His head is crowned with a frosty laurel wreath, and a gladius — a Roman sword like Jason's — hangs at his side.
"Aquilon," Jason says, though he doesn't know where he gets the god's Roman name from.
The god inclines his head. "You recognize me better in this form, yes. And yet you said you come from Camp Half-Blood?"
Jason shifts his feet. "Uh . . . yes, Your Majesty."
"And Hera sent you there . . ." The winter god's eyes are full of mirth. "I understand now. Oh, she plays a dangerous game. Bold, but dangerous! No wonder Olympus is closed. They must be trembling at the gamble she has taken."
"Jason," Piper says nervously, "why did Boreas change shape? The toga, the wreath. What's going on?"
"It's his Roman form," Jason replies. "But what's going on — I don't know."
The god laughs. "No, I'm sure you don't. This should be very interesting to watch."
"Does that mean you'll let us go?" Piper asks.
"My dear," Boreas says, "there is no reason for me to kill you. If Hera's plan fails, which I think it will, you will tear each other apart. Aeolus will never have to worry about demigods again."
Jason feels as if Khione's cold fingers are on his neck again, but it isn't her — it's just the feeling that Boreas is right. That sense of wrongness which had bothered Jason since he got to Camp Half-Blood, and Chiron's comment about his arrival being disastrous — Boreas knew what they meant.
"I don't suppose you could explain?" Jason asks.
"Oh, perish the thought! It is not for me to interfere in Hera's plan. No wonder she took your memory." Boreas chuckles, apparently still having a great time imagining demigods tearing each other apart. "You know, I have a reputation as a helpful wind god. Unlike my brethren, I've been known to fall in love with mortals. Why, my sons Zethes and Calais started as demigods —"
"Which explains why they are idiots," Khione growls.
"Stop it!" Zethes snaps back. "Just because you were born a full goddess —"
"Both of you, freeze," Boreas orders. Apparently, that word carries a lot of weight in the household, because the two siblings go absolutely still. "Now, as I was saying, I have a good reputation, but it is rare that Boreas plays an important role in the affairs of gods. I sit here in my palace, at the edge of civilization, and so rarely have amusements. Why, even that fool Notus, the South Wind, gets spring break in Cancun. What do I get? A winter festival with naked Quebecois rolling around in the snow!"
"I like the winter festival," Zethes mutters.
"My point," Boreas snaps, "is that I now have a chance to be the center. Oh, yes, I will let you go on this quest. You will find your storm spirits in the windy city, of course. Chicago —"
"Father!" Khione protests.
Boreas ignores his daughter. "If you can capture the winds, you may be able to gain safe entrance to the court of Aeolus. If by some miracle you succeed, be sure to tell him you captured the winds on my orders."
"Okay, sure," Jason says. "So Chicago is where we'll find this lady who's controlling the winds? She's the one who's trapped Hera?"
"Ah." Boreas grins. "Those are two different questions, son of Jupiter."
Jupiter, Jason notices. Before, he called me son of Zeus.
"The one who controls the winds," Boreas continues, "yes, you will find her in Chicago. But she is only a servant — a servant who is very likely to destroy you. If you succeed against her and take the winds, then you may go to Aeolus. Only he has knowledge of all the winds on the earth. All secrets come to his fortress eventually. If anyone can tell you where Hera is imprisoned, it is Aeolus. As for who you will meet when you finally find Hera's cage — truly, if I told you that, you would beg me to freeze you."
"Father," Khione protests, "you can't simply let them —"
"I can do what I like," he says, his voice hardening. "I am still master here, am I not?"
The way Boreas glares at his daughter, it was obvious they had some ongoing argument.
Khione's eyes flash with anger, but she clenches her teeth. "As you wish, Father."
"Now go, demigods," Boreas says, "before I change my mind. Zethes, escort them out safely."
They all bow, and the god of the North Wind dissolves into mist.
. . .
Back in the entry hall, Cal and Leo are waiting for them. Leo looks cold but unharmed. He'd even gotten cleaned up, and his clothes look newly washed, like he'd used the hotel's valet service. Festus the Dragon is back in normal form, snorting fire over his scales to keep himself defrosted.
As Khione led them down the stairs, (Y/n) notices that Leo's eyes follow the ice princess. Leo started combing his hair back with his hands. Uh-oh, (Y/n) thinks. She makes a mental note to warn Leo about the snow goddess later. She was not someone to get a crush on.
At the bottom step, Khione turns to Piper. "You have fooled my father, girl. But you have not fooled me. We are not done. And you, (Y/n) Jackson, I will see you as a statue in the throne room soon enough."
"Boreas is right," (Y/n) says. "You're a spoiled kid. See you around, ice princess."
Khione's eyes flare pure white. For once, she seems at a loss for words. She storms back up the stairs — literally. Hallway up, she turns into a blizzard and disappears.
"Be careful," Zethes warns. "She never forgets an insult."
Cal grunts in agreement. "Bad sister."
"She's the goddess of snow," Jason says. "What's she going to do, throw snowballs at us?" But as he says it, Jason has a feeling Khione could do a whole lot worse.
Leo looks devastated. "What happened up there? You made her mad? Is she mad at me too? Guys, that was my prom date!"
"We'll explain later," Piper promises, but when she glances at Jason, he realizes she expected him to explain.
What had happened up there? Jason isn't sure. Boreas had turned into Aquilon, his Roman form, as if Jason's presence caused him to go schizophrenic.
The idea that Jason had been sent to Camp Half-Blood seemed to amuse the god, but Boreas/Aquilon hadn't let them go out of kindness. Cruel excitement had danced in his eyes, as if he'd just placed a bet on a dogfight.
You will tear each other apart, the king had said with delight. Aeolus will never have to worry about demigods again.
Jason looks away from Piper, trying not to show how unnerved he is. "Yeah," he agrees, "we'll explain later."
"Be careful, pretty girl," Zethes says. "The winds between here and Chicago are bad-tempered. Many other evil things are stirring. I am sorry you will not be staying. You would make a lovely ice statue, in which I could check my reflection."
"Thanks," Piper says. "But I'd sooner play hockey with Cal."
"Hockey?" Cal's eyes light up.
"Joking," Piper says quickly. "And the storm winds aren't our worst problem, are they?"
"Oh, no," Zethes agrees. "Something else. Something worse."
"Worse," Cal echoes.
"Can you tell me?" Piper gives them a smile.
This time, the charm doesn't work. The purple-winged Boreads shake their heads in unison. The hangar doors open onto a freezing starry night, and Festus the Dragon stomps his feet, anxious to fly.
"Ask Aeolus what is worse," Zethes says darkly. "He knows. Good luck."
He almost sounds like he cares what happened to them, even though a few minutes ago he'd wanted to make Piper into an ice sculpture.
Cal pats Leo on the shoulder. "Don't get destroyed," he says, which was probably the longest sentence he'd ever attempted. "Next time—hockey. Pizza."
"Come on, guys." Jason stares out at the dark. He is anxious to get out of that cold penthouse, but he has a feeling it was the most hospitable place they'd see for a while. "Let's go to Chicago and try not to get destroyed."
. . .
Piper doesn't relax until the glow of Quebec City fades behind them.
"You were amazing," (Y/n) tells her.
The compliment should've made Piper's day, but all she can think about is the trouble ahead. Evil things are stirring, Zethes had warned them. She knew that firsthand. The closer they get to the solstice, the less time Piper had to make her decision.
She tells (Y/n) in French: "If you knew the truth about me, you wouldn't think I was so amazing."
"What'd you say?" (Y/n) asks.
"I said I only talked to Boreas. It wasn't so amazing." Piper doesn't turn to look at her, but she can imagine the daughter of Poseidon smiling.
"Hey," she says. "You saved me from joining Khione's subzero hero collection. I owe you one."
That's definitely the easy part, Piper thinks. There was no way Piper would've let that witch keep (Y/n), and then she takes a moment to wonder where the strong feelings had come from. The night before, she'd been worried about her relationship with Jason, but now she was protecting (Y/n).
Piper is lost in her thoughts, and she starts when Jason passes her back a sandwich – from Leo. The son of Hephaestus had been quiet ever since they'd told him what had happened in the throne room. "I still can't believe Khione," he says. "She looked so nice."
"Trust me, man," (Y/n) says. "Snow may be pretty, but up close, it's cold and nasty. We'll find you a better prom date."
Piper smiles, but Leo doesn't look pleased. He hadn't said much about his time in the palace, or why the Boreads had singled him out for smelling like fire. Piper gets the feeling he's hiding something. Whatever it is, his mood seemed to be affecting Festus, who grumbles and steams as he tries to keep himself warm in the cold Canadian air. Happy the Dragon was not so happy.
They eat their sandwiches as they fly. Piper has no idea how Leo had stocked up on supplies, but he'd even remembered to bring veggie rations for her. The cheese and avocado sandwich was awesome.
Nobody talks. Whatever they might find in Chicago, they all know Boreas had only let them go because he figured they were already on a suicide mission.
The moon rises and the stars turn overhead. Piper's eyes start to feel heavy. The encounter with Boreas and his children had scared her more than she wanted to admit. Now that she has a full stomach, her adrenaline is fading.
Suck it up, cupcake! Coach Hedge would've yelled at her. Don't be a wimp!
Piper had been thinking about the coach ever since Boreas had mentioned that he was still alive. She'd never liked Hedge, but he'd leaped off a cliff to save Leo, and he'd sacrificed himself to protect them on the skywalk. She now realizes that all the times at school the coach had pushed her, yelled at her to run faster or do more push-ups, or even when he'd turned his back and let her fight her own battles with the mean girls, the old goat man had been trying to help her in his own irritating way – trying to prepare he for life as a demigod.
On the skywalk, Dylan the storm spirit had said something about the coach, too: how he'd been retired to Wilderness School because he was getting too old, like it was some sort of punishment. Piper wonders what that was about, and if it explained why the coach was always so grumpy. Whatever the truth, now that Piper knows Hedge was alive, she has a strong compulsion to save him.
Don't get ahead of yourself, she chides. You've got bigger problems. This trip won't have a happy ending. She's a traitor, just like Silena Beauregard. It was only a matter of time before her friends found out.
She looks up at the stars and thinks about a night long ago when she and her dad had camped out in front of Grandpa Tom's house. Grandpa Tom had died years before, but Dad had kept his house in Oklahoma because it was where he grew up.
Piper blinks, shaking herself out of the memory. She realizes she'd been falling asleep on the dragon's back. How could Dad pretend to be so many things he isn't? Trying to do that now was tearing Piper apart.
Maybe she could pretend for a little while longer. She could dream of a way of finding a way to save her father without betraying her friends — even if right now a happy ending seems about as likely as magic hedgehogs.
Piper sleepily leans back against (Y/n)'s chest. The daughter of Poseidon doesn't object, and Piper closes her eyes, drifting off to sleep.
. . .
Piper tumbles through the sky. Far below, she sees city lights glimmering in the early dawn, and several hundred yards away, the body of the bronze dragon spinning out of control, its wings limp, fire flickering in its mouth like a wired lightbulb.
A body shoots past her — Leo, screaming and frantically grabbing at the clouds. "Not coooooool!"
She tries to call out him, but he is already too far below.
Somewhere above her, Jason yells, "Piper, level out! Extend your arms and legs!"
It was hard to control her fear, but she does what he said and regains some balance. She falls spread-eagle like a skydiver, the wind underneath her like a solid block of ice. Then Jason is there, wrapping his arms around her waist.
"We have to get (Y/n) and Leo!" she shouts.
Their fall slows as Jason controls the winds, but they still lurch up and down like the winds didn't want to cooperate.
"Gonna get rough," Jason warns. "Hold on!"
And then, thump! They slam into another warm body – Leo, still wriggling and cursing.
"Stop fighting!" Jason says. "It's me!"
"My dragon!" Leo yells. "You gotta save Festus!
Jason's already struggling to keep the three of them aloft, and Piper knows there is no way he could help a fifty-ton metal dragon.
There is a splash below them in the nearby lake, and then there's an explosion. A fireball rolls into the sky from behind a warehouse complex.
Jason's face reddens with strain as he tries to maintain an air cushion beneath them, all the while looking for (Y/n) below them. Rather than free-falling, intermittent slow-downs are the best that Jason can manage. It feels to Piper as though they were bouncing down a giant staircase, a hundred feet at a time.
As they wobble and zigzag, Piper can make out details of the factory complex below – warehouses, smokestacks, barbed wire fences, parking lots lined with snow-covered vehicles, and a lake. They are still high enough so that hitting the ground would flatten them into roadkill – or skykill – when Jason groans, "I can't –"
And they drop like stones.
They hit the roof of the largest warehouse and crash through into darkness.
Unfortunately, Piper tries to land on her feet. Her feet didn't like that. Pain flares in her left ankle as she crumples against a cold metal surface.
For a few seconds, she isn't conscious of anything but pain – pain so bad that her ears ring and her vision goes red.
Then she hears Jason's voice somewhere below, echoing through the building. "Piper! (Y/n)!"
"Ow, bro!" Leo groans. "That's my back! I'm not a sofa! Piper, where'd you go? (Y/n)?"
"Here," Piper manages, and she realizes she can't hear (Y/n)'s response. She hears shuffling and grunting, and then feet pounding on metal stairs.

percy jackson dating hcs 𝜗𝜚 ⊹ ‧₊˚
pairing: percy jackson x daughter of hera!reader warning(s): none !! an: UR SO SWEET ILYTTTTTTT
Tumblr media
i just KNOW dating a daughter of hera would have percy twirling his hair and giggling
he thinks he's set for life
and he is. there's no escape.
'you and i go from one kiss to getting married' for reallllllll
you make him feel so giddy there's really no explanation for it
if there's one thing that percy wants, it's a happy future
i don't think he cares about where he is or what he's doing, as long as he's havin fun and happy
and the fact that you're the daughter of the goddess who practically symbolizes what's known as the "perfect" life like ??
he just feels so lucky
you're also really excited to see what the future may hold for you two :))
it's something you guys talk about quite often actually
you can talk about it comfortably and casually as if it's any other thing
"oh, and i was thinking, if we do get an apartment, we should try growing some of those window still plants"
"ooooh, for sure! what about getting some of those sun catcher stickers too?"
↑ that moon-flower thingy that percy got from calypso did not make it to the mini garden... he gave it to one of the demeter kids after you started dating cause there's only one girl he wants in his life, why would he want to keep something that another goddess girl gave to him ??
he's so loyal bye
at least now he is
cause you best believe when he was flirty-flirty with rachel you freaked out
you knew about the countless affairs zeus had and how your mother was forced to sit through it and act as if it didn't bother her, and you hated that
so seeing the guy you have a crush on flirting with another girl when you thought he might've had feelings for you too?? HURT.
obviously he didn't know that at the time (we all know he's oblivious when it comes to love okay) but it was casually brought up one time
you were like 'remember when you were flirting with rachel?? yea that sent me into a down spiral i wanted to cry anytime i saw you lol'
and he was just like '?? when i was flirting??? i was?? why didn't you tell me????? hello????? we should talk about this !!!!!!!'
since then he's made it his mission to never accidentally do something stupid like that ever again so you'd never have to feel that way
but technically the next time it happened it wasn't even his fault so
pre-kidnapping, you actually had a pretty good relationship with her mother
hera would be caring towards her demigod children, she'd want to actually try and be involved in their lives as much as she can
it's not like you were having brunch together every sunday but like, she'd try and stop by cabin 2 every few months or so to catch up with you and see how you were doing
even though she already knows everything, she likes to have a conversation :)
but she's only allowed to stay for a bit cause she's got places to be, people to see, and zeus is a little bitch who can't handle being away from the wife he doesn't care about for more than 20 minutes
(was that canon or did i get that from lore olympus in 2021 ... i think it was canon .... i don't remember honestly)
while percy was missing, your relationship with her just... wasnt there.
the gods were cut off from communicating and your prayers weren't working, so you weren't really anything
but then when jason came into the picture, shit hit fan
first of all - zeus had ANOTHER KID ??
second of all - HE WAS ROMAN ??
third of all - hes being sent on a quest to SAVE YOUR MOM ??
fourth of all - WHERE IS PERCY ????
everything was crazy
you begged to go on that quest. you wanted to know what was happening, you wanted to know if your mom was okay and what was going on with her, but most of all you wanted to find percy
but chiron nor annabeth would let you go, claiming that you weren't in the 'right state' for a quest (you really werent)
not going only managed to stress you out more and caused you to worry ten times more
annabeth would hug you and grover would play something on his pipes to help calm you down some days :((
when jason got back from his quest, even more shit hit the fan cause
YOUR MOM KIDNAPPED YOUR BOYFRIEND AND YOUR (not actually adopted but adopted) BROTHER AND SWAPPED THEIR PLACES, WIPED THEIR MEMORY, AND DIPPED ????
this is what they call female rage
betrayal beyond all others
cause you trusted your mom- hell, she was your mom. and she took away the person in your life who made you happiest?? and for what reason????
after that you didn't even live in cabin two anymore
you couldn't bring yourself to do it. as much as you hated zeus, you moved into cabin one with jason for a while
who you obviously became best friends with
when you finally reunited with percy, he was there to comfort you and hold you close while you talked to him about your mom :((
hes always been such a good listener but those times is when you appreciated it most
percy could care less if he got in trouble with coach hedge for staying over in your room at night, he did it anyway !!
he knew how stressed you were, even with him being back
so like some nights he'd put on a movie and try to distract you from your chaotic lives
he knows the best way to distract you is by talking about your future, and he does just that
"i was thinkin, what about celeste for a girl?"
as much as you love talking about your future, talking about having kids always manages gets you a little nervous
you feel your face get hot and you start stuttering a bit anytime it comes up
"i-i like it, its pr-pretty"
percy just smiles and continues painting your nails
which he's not very good at doing by the way, but at least youre not stressed anymore !!
honestly i feel like you guys would get married pretty young
i wanna say when youre like 23-ish
he keeps the proposal kind of chill but also makes sure its not boring either
it'd be after a date, on a weekend where youre vacationing in montauk ♡♡
he takes you on a stroll along the shore in the afternoon, when the sun is setting and it looks really pretty
leads you back to the house, where there's an arch set up decorated in flowers, theres some petals and candles on the floor
practically gives you a whole speech about how youve changed his life for the better and how he wants to spend the rest of his life with you, taking care of you and making you happy everyday, officially :((
you obviously say no
just kiddingggggggg
the proposal itself is a little basic (hey its kind of hard to be original and classy nowadays) but percy's words are what make it so special and memorable :(
he hid a camera among the flowers that caught everything cause he knew you would want to look back at it, but also wanted to be alone while he did it
he gets you a gift after your wedding, a gold locket necklace (in the shape of a heart of course) with a picture of you two at your wedding laughing together on one side, and your anniversary engraved on the other ♡♡
makes sure to get you flowers at least once every month !!
oh and you do end up making that window still garden in your apartment :))
it turns into a real garden once you move into a house together !!
honestly, how many kids you have (or if you even have them) is completely up to you
cause i dont wanna be like 'you had three kids. their names were phoebe bridgers, lucy dacus, and julien baker.'
but percy is a girl AND boy dad
mainly girl dad though
he just seems like the type of dad that you come home to seeing him squeezed into a dress, covered in makeup, and wearing a tiara okay
hes so husband i love him

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
having a crush on percy jackson was normal in the campers.
he was hot, powerful, funny, sarcastic, kind, loyal, and believe me, the list goes on.
so when he started working as a lifeguard in the camp, suddenly everyone was in the water. he, the little shit he is, surfed once in a while too, to give a little show to the girls and boys. he was the aphrodite cabin's precious, which piper was disgusted. but he was proud.
today was another day for the camp to be at lake, swimming. annabeth dragged you out from the peaceful hera cabin, saying that you should at least get in the water to survive this hot weather. even though you wanted to stay inside, she was right, like always. the weather was hot and you started to get embarresed from the amount of times you asked jason to create a wind for you.
now you were going to use percy's element to cool down, which is, your secret crush.
"having a crush on percy isn't bad as you think." annabeth said quietly, carrying her and your beach bags. you, who was carrying the snacks and your surfboard, sighed. "oh yeah? i'm literally in a fucking cult annabeth. the 'i-have-a-crush-on-percy-too' cult. and believe me, there's so many of us."
annabeth laughed at you and found a good spot while you were rambling. she put the bags down on the sand and pulled out a blue picnic blanket to claim the area.
"i know the cult, i was a member of it when i was like, 12." she joked, now putting the bags on top of the blanket to keep it in place. "then i left, realising i wasn't really in the cult."
you smirked at her as you took off your big camp shirt, laying on the blanket with your matched blue bikini. "see? you should know what i feel."
annabeth shrugged, taking off her own camp shirt, leaving herself with her yellow swimsuit. "not really." she said. "besides, there's no one like you in the cult. you're quite famous yourself."
you raised an eyebrow at her, taking a lemonade from the little fridge standed beside you. "how so, blondie?" you asked, taking a sip.
"well, you're the only daughter of the famous hera, and literally the definition of good. everyone knows and loves you, you're always helping people. the little kids call you mom sometimes for gods' sake." she explained, and you chuckled.
"what's that have to do with percy?" you asked as you grabbed a diet coke from the fridge. annabeth groaned, taking the diet coke from your hand. "what i'm trying to say is, you probably have his attention already. you're as famous as him and you're literally gorgeous."
you 'awww'ed at annabeth which she gagged playfully. you left a kiss to her cheek. "thanks annie, but i'm only successful at being little boys first love. not getting the famous percy jackson's attention."
annabeth groaned louder, laying on her back. "man, people talk about the skinny white boy like he's some god." she said. "when he was twelve, he was basically a loser."
you laughed at her and stood up, taking your surfboard. "how nice of you to talk about him like that." you joked, and annabeth made thumbs up to you. "anyways babe, i'll surf a little. there's a lotta good waves goin' on right now."
annabeth looked at the ocean and sighed. "you sure? it looks dangerous today." she said, and you only giggled at her worries. "oh please, you know i'm good at surfing as much as percy."
"yeah, sure. don't let piper hear that'." annabeth yelled after you as you walked away. you waved at her without turning back.
you looked around a bit. the apollo kids was blasting music in the food corner, which was now full of demigods. dionysus kids was making cocktails without the alcohol, because their dad's were watching them. chiron was just chilling next to mr d, a sunglass on his face, and the aphrodite kids was playing beach volleyball with the demeter kids.
then you looked at the right. oh, there he was.
percy jackson, sitted on the guard chair -you really didn't know what it's called- with that tan and muscular body of his. he had a sunglass on his face and an ice cream stick in his mouth. he lazily swinged his feet once in a while, and the blue shorts of his were looking so damn good on him. the red whistle hanged around on his bare chest, not that he touched it often.
you stopped staring when a girl accidently bumped you, apologising right after it. you smiled and said it was nothing, internally thanking the girl for making you turn back to life again. you were damn sure annabeth was making fun of you.
little thing you didn't know that percy, was observing you in that blue bikini, behind his sunglasses. what do you think was the reason of him wearing them? to be cool? nah, he doesn't even need those to be cool. he's just watching you secretly. you, didn't had any idea you were making an eye contact with him until that girl bumped to you.
he watched you dive in the water like you were poseidon's champion or something, getting on that white surfboard of yours like a damn model. percy felt like he was drooling at the sight, which he probably was.
he was snapped out of his gaze with mr d yelling at him. man, you were just about to bend over and stand up on that board.
"yes, mr d?" he said lazily, rolling his eyes behind the sunglasses.
"this little shit needs to find the bathroom, go show him." mr d pointed some little boy who was holding his shorts like his life depended on it. percy jumped down from his seat like it wasn't 2 feet tall, and smiled at the boy.
"don't mind him, he's an old man who's angry he can't drink." he said to the boy, ruffling his hair. the boy only nodded. "i don't really care anyway, i just need to pee."
percy chuckled as he picked the little boy in his arms, already taking him to the bathroom. "i'll carry you little fella. just be careful not to pee on me."
"i won't, thank you percy." the little boy said. percy wasn't suprised that he knew his name. "no problem. what's your name kid?"
"peter." he said. percy chuckled again. "yeah? mr d used to call me peter. he still does sometimes."
the little boy laughed as percy entered the bathroom. "really? so that's why he calls me percy sometimes." he said, forgetting he had to pee. percy smiled. "probably. go and let go all your pee boy, i'll be back on busin-"
he couldn't finish his sentence when annabeth rushed to the boys bathroom. "percy!" she yelled.
percy turned around to look at annabeth and smiled. "hey 'beth, nice to see you. not a really good spot for meeting don't ya thi-"
"there's no time for joking seaweed brain! she's fucking drowning!" she yelled at him. percy immediatly took of his glasses as they already start running towards the ocean.
"who?" he asked.
"y/n! you know her right?" annabeth said breathlessly.
of course he did, he fucking adored her. percy's worry only growed when he saw how big those waves were. the demigod's were already in panic as they looked at the sea. chiron called percy and said that the daughter of hera needed to be saved immediatly. percy didn't even stopped to listen to chiron as he dive into the water.
you thought you could handle it, or at least swim up and sit on your board. but no, poseidon was definetly in a bad mood, and he was taking his anger out from you, probably.
as you lost your balance and fell into the water, you didn't panicked and started swimming as usual. but big and strong waves hit you back and forth, until you were tired, swallowed too many water and fainted.
when you opened your eyes, you thought you were in elysium. or it was just some another version of the little mermaid.
percy smiled at you as you opened your eyes, his big hands cupping your face. he was panting, not because he was tired from all the swimming, no. he was panting because he fight with the thought of losing you for the past five minutes as he worked on getting out the water you swallowed.
"there you are, breath honey. can you do that?" he asked, and you caughed a bit. you nodded softly as he lifted you until you sat up, his strong arms still supporting your back.
you looked around, there was only the two of you, the crowd was long gone. you looked at percy again as your hand find it's way to your forehead. "what happened?" you asked.
"nothin' to worry about angel, just some big waves." he explained, caressing your back softly. you let your body rest on his chest, sighing as you remembered what happened.
"didn't thought the waves would get this crazy." you said, voice still hoarse as you caughed again. percy nodded as he patted your back. "me either."
after a minute of silence, percy finally speaked up again. "i... i'm sorry i was late, i took this little kid called peter to the bathroom because mr d asked me to, i swear i'd help you quicker if i didn-"
"percy, hey, it's okay." you shushed him, your hand caressing his arm. "you already saved my life."
percy nodded again. "yeah i know, i know. but i just," he sighed. "i don't know what i'd do if i lost you before i even asked you out."
you giggled to his chest. "yeah? you were gonna ask me out? when?" he smiled into your hair.
"today. been watching you for sometime now."
"creep." you joked.
"observing beauty, i'd say." he said, smirking.
you sat straight and looked deep into his eyes, which now matched with the color of the sea.
"i'd love to grab some lemonade with you, as a way of thanking you i guess." you said as you smirked back at him. percy chuckled as his hand caressed your cheek.
"who am i to refuse a sweet thank you, right?"

Hello! ^-^ could you do something with a daughter of Psyche reader x Thalia?
Oh! And Perhaps maybe reader was granted a boon or something after Thalia died and got turned into a tree for like comforting Thalia in her last moments? Like maybe reader was granted godhood (like their godly parent was, since Psyche was mortal who was granted godhood with the whole Psyche & Eros myth-) or like immortality or something? 👀
so it's Thalia reaction to that after like a reunion after all the evebts that happened after when Thalia is brought back by the fleece in the books? (Probably late reunion, reader wasn't around from all that? Idk)
If not that's okay! Thank you anyways ^-^
I may be toomuch into greek mithology or percy jackson but pysche could never have a daughter since she's married to eros. it's almost like hera to some extent, but it's just my opinion.
if you want me to write the same request but for other godly parent I will! (and I cannot think aboutany powers for reader to have)
