I doubt this'll get far enough to reach anyone who might have anything kicking around but yelling into the void has worked before (e.g. Supernatural, The X-Files, bonus X-Files):
Back in June 2024 TV Writing added a nice little set of 12 Xena: Warrior Princess scripts.
I made the four scripts Cousin Liz shared many years ago into pdfs and sent them to TV Writing, they were added in October 2024.
In December I stumbled on a new upload of the 2008 Photobucket images of "The God You Know" shared by LadyKate63 and made the draft where all of the page numbers were visible into a pdf. I sent that along with the first and last of season one to TV Writing:
Xena Warrior Princess 1x01 - Sins of the Past (READ NOW)
Xena Warrior Princess 1x24 - Is There a Doctor in the House (READ NOW)
Xena Warrior Princess 6x12 - The God You Know (READ NOW)
Finally, my question:
In celebration of the pilot first airing on 13 March 1995, is there anyone out there who still has any of the Creation Entertainment scripts from Xena: Warrior Princess kicking around that they'd be willing to email* to TV Writing, XenaGabrielle, and/or me?
—
Update 02/23/2025:
We're up to 42 Xena scripts, 6 Hercules (crossover episode) scripts, and 3 Xena outlines/beat sheets!
Beat Sheets, Outlines, Misc. Unproduced:
Xena: Warrior Princess 2x00 - The Last Days of Socrates (Unproduced Episode Outline)
Xena: Warrior Princess 4x07 - Locked Up and Tied Down (Outline)
Xena: Warrior Princess 6x11 - Dangerous Prey (Beat Sheet)
Xena: Warrior Princess 6x00 - Fallen (Unproduced Episode)
—
*If you send any you'd be willing to share directly to TV Writing he won't tell who donated what (e.g. less than a month after he added almost all of the remaining the latest drafts of the Supernatural collection, someone scanned and emailed Supernatural 6x01 and he hasn't shared who donated it to me, one of the original lunatics who started building that collection in 2019 and retired the project in 2024).
**The owner of XenaGabrielle will also change the contributor info to me, when I cold email fan collectors working on a public script collection I use the old project account.
#xena warrior princess#xena and gabrielle#xena#xena x gabrielle#xwp#as you can see i can make pdfs of ancient image files#creation had quite a few eps for sale in that annoying black plastic binding format#i know its annoying to make pdfs with those (see also their early x-files fan club scripts) with a phone app#but its not too bad with a flatbed scanner#no worse than the crispy abomination from chris carter (major coffee and water damage)#anyway since the sale at my preferred pdf shop was extended last night i ordered seven scripts (technically eight episodes)

Sorry if you've gotten loads of asks like this before, but do you have any advice for somebody who wants to start making audio rps?
I have answered this a million different ways because I've never really hammered out all of my advice, so maybe I'll do that and make it available for folks.
My advice I've got today is *drumroll*...
Identify what your goals are, and how you plan to accomplish them! Even when starting out as just a hobby, I think clearly defining what YOU want out of the experience is a great first step.
What motivates you to create? What inspires you? How will you use that to reach whatever goals you might have, and what challenges and questions might you face?
You can absolutely just do it on a whim, but having a few notes on what you're trying to do can really help create some tracks for you yo start running on. It also will help you keep in mind what got you started in the first place whenever you might get disheartened.
This does mean, sometimes you might realize you're pursuing a thing for selfish or fickle reasons. A lot of people might take up streaming, for example, because they think people get to play games and be silly online and get money for it, so you want to do it too. Which is not a very grounded or logical reason to pursue anything with any sort of consistency. So find your why and let that embed itself in your core.
From there, it's about having fun. Maybe you just do some short voice memos to practice, or challenge yourself to speak in a voice for a certain period of time (PRIVATELY PROBABLY UNLESS YOU ARE OKAY BEING THAT PERSON LOL) and find something you can do consistently. Even your own speaking voice is fine. It's more about your performance than anything. Trying to find a natural delivery is one of the biggest things to tackle early on.
There are many scripts you can find online you can use with credit, or you can write your own things. I encourage people that fandom content is actually a pretty great way to dabble (and you can use official artwork and not ripoff any artists) but I don't see nearly as many people doing that versus say, finding something so bad it looks like it was stolen off a 2010 era photobucket account.
Don't feel like you have to splurge on equipment for a hobby. People have blown up just using their phones. It's not that serious, until it is. But it ain't at the moment.
Uhhhhhh...
Be responsible with what you're putting out. A lot of listeners put trust in the creators they let into their ear holes. Mindfulness goes a long way.
Okay that's all I've got for now. Sorry if that's extremely scattered. 😂

a little while ago @neuro-typical sent me this post by @bye2k of a popup that appeared when trying to right-click images on a shadow the hedgehog fan forum, known as Wishes are Eternal (after the SA2 line). this version of the site appears to be an archived snapshot on the wayback machine, and I'm happy to confirm that it is indeed real. though i couldn't get the popup to work in my own browser, the javascript does exist in the source code of the site, so it's very real and very cool.
i had a lot of things to say about this, but i didn't want to blast the notes of the OG post into oblivion with my big funny wall of text, so I've made my own post. below the readmore I'll explain javascript popups on the internet, some malware that has utilized this, and some very interesting sonic fan community history.
first of all: what is this? how did the webmaster manage to create a popup window in your computer to stop you from downloading images?
well, that would be javascript. because JS is just a normal script language that can do whatever you want, creating a popup is no exception. now, whoever ran the site did not write this script themself, this much is evident by the credit you can see in the source code for the site.

this script is offered by a site called dynamicdrive.com, specifically for disabling right-clicks. you see how simple this is? javascript makes it possible to bother users in all sorts of creative ways. plenty of malware on the web utilizes javascript, and you're probably already aware of most good examples.

you're most likely familiar with offiz, better known by the colloquial name "You Are An Idiot". though its status as malware is somewhat debated, most people can agree that the sites it was on abused a javascript function that allowed it to create hundreds upon hundreds of bouncing windows, slowing the user computer to a crawl and forcing the user to restart their machine, meaning any unsaved work they had open was now lost. in that way it was destructive, though indirectly.
offiz is an example of javascript malware that is harmless on its own, but not all JS malware is that friendly. javascript can be used to force your machine to download software, steal user data, serve you all manner of popups, employ many kinds of malicious code through xss, and more. although these cases are rarer than they were, say, a decade ago, that doesn't mean they don't still happen. here is a fascinating little instance of javascript being used maliciously very recently. it's hard to suggest ways to avoid these without just telling you to use common sense, but there's no other way to put it. as is the case with all malware, your best bet when it comes to not getting it is thinking before you click.
browser malware is extremely common. you may have encountered it going to a suspicious website. there is certainly a necessary aspect of social engineering to this type of malware, you have to be paying less attention to where you're going and what you're doing to stumble upon a site so unsecured that it could infect you. users who get themselves into these situations are typically looking for either p_rn or pirated stuff, so they're more likely to act in irrational or desperate ways to get to their content. don't be a fool online and you won't get played for one.
so, why? why does this old, obscure sonic fan forum have javascript that prevents you from right clicking images? prevents you from downloading images?
this forum is very, very old. the last posts on the entire site were about 10 years ago, even to this day. it's no surprise to me that a lot of this site is a relic of its time. the photobucket watermark on the header image, the collecton of midis of shadow themes playable on the site, the use of the term "ripped off" (as opposed to ripped) to describe the action of taking sprites from a game. it's all there on the very first page, the only one in this archive. despite what youtube video slideshows with a single text scroll that says "no copyright intended, pictures found on google" may imply, reposting images was indeed taken seriously at this time. this was a time when it wasn't too uncommon to see a credit to the person who made an anime girl image transparent (a render, for those unaware) in a forum signature. this was a time when someone got caught tracing every 5 days.
that's not to say there were no issues, but people were still very defensive over what they deemed to be theirs. this was especially prevalent in fanart. fan works are hard and are always a labor of love, so it's no surprise nobody wanted their work reposted, especially not without credit. this was especially clear when looking into some parts of the sprite ripping community. making spritesheets was much harder then than it is now, and it was especially impressive if sprites were hand-edited or even made from scratch. this incredibly painstaking work combined with sonic fans reputation for... unwavering passion... could often culminate in a very serious attitude towards doing something as simple as saving an image. in fact, for some people, this mindset has never truly left.

in 2014, fangame creator Leemena Dan published Sonic Gather Battle on SAGE (the Sonic Amateur Games Expo) to mostly positive reception but ultimately little attention outside of sonic fans online. that is, until 2017, when after a seemingly inconspicuous update, players discovered what appeared to be an audaciously malicious form of DRM present in the game.
this malware had everything. all the bells and whistles. when a player would do any number of things from opening software made to decompile games to simply typing "sonic gather battle cheat" into their internet browser search bar, the payload would activate. (which, of course, means it tracks your keystrokes!)
it's difficult to find good footage of both layers of this DRM (or, rather, both payloads of this malware) that doesn't include a facecam of some gamer dude gawking and screaming at his computer screen. even so, I've found two decent ones. layer 1, and layer 2. this DRM also sends your IP address to a privately owned server, presumably so that the DRM would activate even when the game is uninstalled, and when trying to play it, a splash screen would show telling you to abide by the rules.
unsurprisingly, people did not consider this a proportionate way to respond to the threat of people ripping the sprites from a fangame, and the creator has since been banned from SAGE. to this very day, some people are simply so protective of their work that they'd be willing to go to any length to prevent you from saving it. as obnoxious as that can sometimes seem, it does make for some very interesting history.

Guards but magic (Abjuration Wizard)
A color wheel for the schools of magic (yes, they exist; people have been wondering about this for ages now, so go look them up) suggested that the school of abjuration may be associated with the color of yellow.
Diagram from Photobucket
Tried it and felt like it didn't do anything for me, especially after the amount of research done that showed that most artworks depicting this magic (D&D-related or otherwise) present it in shades of blue force-fields, barriers, etc. DEFINITELY NOT YELLOW.

First sketch
I wanted to max out the possible references from a modern-ish era, which led me to thinking about security personnel (like the Gringotts guards in Harry Potter) and their uniform attire, while also thinking about how abjuration magic tends to bond ("bound"?) targets of the magic.
Image from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, part 1
The latter explains the shoulder and chest "straps" that are presumably embroidered with ancient scripts (Baybayin possibly, but I might look into others for a better fit into the "language" of the school), denoting the Wizard's lifelong academic approach to magic by way of writing, like in their spellbooks.
Decided to switch color combo to what research is telling me. Feels more appropriate. I wanted to make it more practical if not mildly street wear, which got me to thinking about trench coats and looking up police uniforms and Burberry's famous double-breasted. May or may not have arrived at an idea that's probably in between.

Second sketch
Probably the latest edit (for now), depicting the security personnel reference, the scripts across bands on the shoulders, chest, and elsewhere, the magic circle just peeking from under the bands and collar.

Third sketch (front)
Pocket flaps have a special detail in that, instead of scripts, dice is embroidered to denote a specific die size associated with the school, in this case the d6 that references one of the school's most powerful spells, the Prismatic Wall (the d6 embroideries could be multicolored if ever).

Third sketch (back)
Was really thinking about D&D Wizards in general and what ties them all together as a class, which I’ve shown with the Baybayin script (yeah, let's make it local at least) that suggests their spellbook habit. Besides the idea of making the looks sorta flowy and robe-like, I felt that there needs to be a little more referencing to the class a whole, which got me to thinking about how formal their approach to magic was.
This was what led me to the idea of magic circles (like the here at the upper back) and how formulaic their aesthetics seem to be, something that a Wizard would most probably take into practice.

Because anything can change.
LiveJournal strikethrough.
Tumblr explicit content ban that does not even stop bots but did get blogs about consent and practical advice for active adults taken down.
Twitter. I have not been on Twitter in decades, but I heard that a lot of things changed regarding content policy such that it would be wisest to never ever refer to Musk by name.
All the complaints about AO3 committing to be the archive that it is in its name, forgetting that Fanfiction.Net used to be the fanfiction site until—so go the rumors I've heard—it started banning all uses of second person (because if it were a spicy lemon bit of prose and a minor read it then that's Schrödinger's CSAM) but instead of checking if each work written in second person even was a lemon they just ban all use of second person...and script format, because of reasoning that I am much less clear about...but my point was it was wildly haphazard content curation that did not have any transparency or consistency. I don't like even like online XReader fiction, but banning all second person prose on a platform does not exactly inspire confidence even if it does not affect me personally.
I uploaded paintings by William-Adolphe Bouguereau on ye olde Photobucket (image hosting site) and somebody reported my account for nudity. Just look at Bouguereau's "Birth of Venus"—or don't, apparently, if you're too young to look at paint glooped and squished onto a canvas. Just take my word that Bouguereau is famous for rendering white people complexions for a reason, and that was the reason I uploaded them back in the day.
I have digital artist friends that complained about ArtFol claiming that they wouldn't censor nudity and then backpedaling on it because that app/website development is still a work that would have better chances of success if it appealed to sponsors and a mainstream that wants pretty and not controversial.
When self-censorship is the norm, then more content can survive those inevitable monetization-motivated purges regardless of whether that's an underhanded dodge from a spam bot or a precaution put to otherwise innocuous content. "Lemon" is a pre-TikTok euphemism.
I don't like self-censorship either, but I'm never going to trust a platform that tells people they'll never have to do it. When commercial sponsorships ever become an option, they're all always going to purge eventually.
hi im complaining about tiktok again and i know this has been said a million times but i despise how the self-censorship that got really popular on there is quickly becoming the norm. why is my podcast that i listen to that is by and for adults and swears regularly censoring the word "sex" in its episode descriptions on spotify, a platform where they dont even censor officially uploaded song titles for songs like "fuck the pain away." why are there book blurbs using "unalive" completely in earnest. why are people on twitter writing s3x. youtubers can at least handwave having to bleep terms like "heroin" bc that's specifically a youtube problem but why in an era where everyone is handwringing about how everything is Literally 1984 do people not seem to care about grown adults gleefully regressing into homestuck typing quirks and ugly babytalk

Youtube video download linux

#Youtube video download linux mac os x
#Youtube video download linux 720p
#Youtube video download linux install
#Youtube video download linux update
To download a video file, simply run the following command. This is helpful when you have been using it for a few months: youtube-dl -U
#Youtube video download linux update
Once installed, you can update it to the latest version using this command. sudo chmod a+rx /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl
#Youtube video download linux install
However, I recommend installing it directly from its source repository.įor any Linux distribution, you can quickly install youtube-dl on your system through the command line interface with: sudo wget -O /usr/local/bin/youtube-dlĪfter fetching the file, you need to set a executable permission on the script to execute properly. The version in Debian/Ubuntu is usually old and you might face errors while downloading videos. If you are running Ubuntu-based Linux distribution, you can install it using this command: sudo apt install youtube-dl I’ll still show some commands for the sake of it. You can use the standard way of installing packages in your distribution to install youtube-dl. Youtube-dl is a popular program and is available in the default repositories of most Linux distributions, if not all. Allows to bypass YouTube geo-restrictions.Automatical pause and resume of video downloads.
#Youtube video download linux 720p
If the video is available in 4K, you can download it in 4K, 1080p, 720p etc You can also choose the quality of the video being downloaded.Allows downloading videos in several available video formats such as MP4, WebM etc.Download videos from not only YouTube but other popular video websites like Dailymotion, Facebook etc. This tiny tool has so many features that it won’t be an exaggeration to call it the best YouTube downloader for Linux. Which means you don’t need download managers in Linux just for resuming downloads. It will automatically resume the unfinished download, as long as a partial download is present in the current directory. If youtube-dl is killed (for example by Ctrl-C or due to loss of Internet connectivity) in the middle of the download, you can simply re-run it with the same YouTube video URL. The youtube-dl tool supports resuming interrupted downloads.
#Youtube video download linux mac os x
It is written in pygtk and requires Python interpreter to run this program, it’s not platform restricted. It should run on any Unix, Windows or in Mac OS X based systems. Youtube-dl is a Python-based small command-line tool that allows downloading videos from YouTube, Dailymotion, Photobucket, Facebook, Yahoo, Metacafe, Depositfiles and few more similar sites. It also uses mplayer or mpv player to stream YouTube content so you will need to have them installed as well.Install youtube-dl to download YouTube videos in Linux terminal MPS-YouTube can also convert mp3 files to other audio formats and vice versa, but you must have ffmpeg or avconv installed on your system.
Support for various audio and video formats: mp4, 3gp, flv, webm, ogg, m4a, and m4.
Download YouTube audio and video files.
Create and manage YouTube playlists locally.
FOSS: free to download and use with its source code available on GitHub.
You can use mps-youtube to search for YouTube content, stream both audio and video files (using an external player), create local playlists to save your favorite picks, view comments, and download YouTube videos in several formats including mp4, 3gp, flv, webm, ogg, m4a, and m4. It is based on another open source terminal-based program, mps, which can be used to search, stream, and download music as well and it uses the pafy library to handle its interfacing tasks with YouTube. Mps-youtube is a cross-platform Terminal-based YouTube client app inbuilt with playlist management and an interactive text UI for playing and downloading YouTube content.

I-is it...not normal to hunt down every piece of canon evidence you can find from every source, taking into account corroboration, the reliability of the narrator and the likelihood of things being forgotten over the course of the fandom's lifetime, and drawing only limited conclusions based strictly upon direct observations of said media, even if it involves file digging, thrown away scripts, rough drafts, canonized fanworks, live myspace chats with characters accessible only through screenshots on photobucket, musicals released only in Japan with no translation, and secret messageboards only accessible at one specific date through the wayback machine where the creator was known to RP back before fame?
I'm referring to 4 different fandoms there, but like. I'm a fandom archaeologist, if anything.
If we’re being honest, most of us study our favourite character less like an entomologist studies a bug and more like an astronomer studies a distant star: drawing complicated inferences from extremely limited data, then getting tetchy about it when somebody else draws incompatible but equally well-supported inferences from the same data because it’s the fucking principle of the thing.

This is a multiday post, under the cut are my entries for Day 1 - 8
Day 1 Why you're participating in Snowflake
Day 2 Favourite memory about fandom (Legend of the Seeker, People's Palace, landcomms)
Day 3 Rec fanworks you did not create (5 x au fics in 5 fandoms)
Day 4 Create a fannish wishlist (more comments for everyone, be nicer, create more, I can haz art pls)
Day 5 Rec a fannish or creative resource (scripts, screencaps and promo pics, image hosting)
Day 6 Leave feedback (I'm always doing the thing)
Day 7 Create a love meme (please leave comments/gifs)
Day 8 Share a piece of canon (Starz shows and how I fell truly in love during S2 moments, Da vinci's Demons, Black Sails)
Day 1 In your own space, talk about why you're participating in Snowflake and, if you’ve participated in the past, how the challenge has affected you. What drew you to it? What did you take away from it? I'm assisting with mod duties this year and this is what I wrote for my introduction there: I've been in fandom a long time. I've seen some good changes and some not so good. Lately in some places there's been a lot of negativity in fandom and overall it seems there's been a steady decline in interaction. For me fandom is about the joy of connecting with other fans, discussing, creating, consuming - and also commenting on fanworks of all kinds. I'm hoping Snowflake Challenge will give us all a positive boost and encourage us to focus on the good and to rediscover the community side of fandom. And because I'm assisting with mod duties I'm seeing a lot more of the content being produced and its amazing and heartwarming to see people sharing their personal stories and how fandom has helped them, talking about their passions, sharing their favourite fandoms and resources and fanworks. It's wonderful to see so many journal entries and activity! Day 2 In your own space, share a favorite memory about fandom: the first time you got into fandom, the last time a fanwork touched your heart, crazy times with fellow fans (whether on-line or off-line), a lovely comment you’ve received or have left for someone. Legend of the Seeker. This is one of my longer and more active fandoms. The peoplespalace was where I felt very welcomed and encouraged and I wrote a lot of fanworks and participated in a lot of the activities there. I miss the Darken/Cara/Rahl family side of the fandom a lot. There was also legendland a landcomm which ran for many years – we even had a reunion battle last year which was nice! I wrote so much fic, made icons and other graphics, even fanvids. I tried to do every challenge where possible. I was on Team Cara for the longest time. Cara, Darken, Zedd were always my favourites ;) Before legendland there was whedonland and again I felt part of something there. It pretty much saved my life a couple of times. These days there's gameofcards and it's fun and I encourage everyone to check it out, but the more specific fandom landcomms seemed to make for more tight-knit teams and I miss them. Day 3 In your own space, post recs for at least three fanworks that you did not create. There are so many things I could rec! But I'll pick 5 AU fics from 5 different fandoms to spread the love a little Side by Side – Cormoran Strike http://archiveofourown.org/works/12036537 Fantasy au that ends in Strike/Robin, highly recommended. Murder – Dark Matter http://archiveofourown.org/works/12000579 College au based around an actual tradition of a game called "murder". As Glory Turns to Dust – Hamilton http://archiveofourown.org/works/11359656 Modern au with magic. Hamilton is cursed to be forgotten, leaving him alone in the world except, briefly, for Jefferson. Warning this is a fantastic fic but a sad ending. There is however a linked sequel by another author to put things right :) Skin Full of Lies – Black Sails http://archiveofourown.org/works/7570540 Soulmate au Silverflint "Every lie your soulmate tells you appears on your skin. Between outward lies, manipulations and stories told the crew John Silver's ink quite quickly takes over most of James' body." a gift fic for me, The Princess' Bodyguard – The Shannara Chronicles http://archiveofourown.org/works/13113129 pre-canon au in which Eretria is Amberle's bodyguard. One-shot but with potential for more, strong hints of Eretria/Amberle Day 4 In your own space, create a fannish wishlist. No limits on size or type of fanwork; just tell us what you’d like to see. Can we please do as most people asked on their fannish wishlist for day 4 and leave more comments? Can we journal more and create more? Can we rediscover the joy of fandom and stop with the "anti" behaviour? Please. More specifically for me, art for fics is always welcome. (I have a transformative work statement at LJ/DW and AO3 and have had translations of my work and podfic which are lovely!) In particular for my sfbb fic Bad Case of Loving You. I've got beautiful artwork for most of my sfbb fics, the DvD fics in particular. For sfbb I provide pinterest boards to help with resources and generally try to help artists out, as I did here. This is a Black Sails modern au medical drama with Silver/Flint/Miranda and Silver&Max and it was a labour of love and I'm still amazed I managed to write the thing. However it seemed to be cursed. My first beta dropped out. My first artist dropped out. My second artist swore they were ready to go then didn't post, then after the fest posted a basic stock photo+text "cover". *sigh* I made my own art in the end, banner and mini picspam for the tumblr promo post but I'm an amateur artist. Day 5 Recommend a fannish or creative resource. Springfield!Springfield! has movie and tv episode scripts. kiss them goodbye has a huge amount of screencap galleries. farfarawaysite has a smaller amount of pictures but tends to have high quality promotional pictures. Cloudinary is the site I'm using for image hosting since the photobucket debacle. Day 6 Leave feedback for a fanwork. Or multiple fanworks. It can be as simple as I liked this to a detailed list of all the things you loved about the fanwork. The key is to leave some sort of feedback. If you've already left feedback in the course of a previous challenge, it totally counts. But you're free to leave more feedback. My new year's resolution last year was to leave a comment on every fanfic, hosted on AO3, over 100 words, that I finished reading. (I needed some parameters; this doesn't mean I didn't leave comments at LJ/DW or on drabbles because I did, on occasion). I did the thing. I read a little less than usual. I noped out of more fics. But the fics I read and finished got a comment. I'm going to try and keep doing that. I've already left comments on some fics this year. My additional resolution for this year is to write down more of my ideas. Having plot ideas or dialogues while showering or in bed is one thing, but if I don't write/type at least the basics up, I forget them partially or entirely when I try to write the thing weeks or months later. Day 7: In your own space, create a love meme for yourself. Let people tell you how amazing and awesome and loveable you really are Come and tell me how amazing I am ;) Seriously though, I'm working on being more positive and telling myself I'm worthwhile, I deserve more, I am achieving more. But it always helps when other people are backing that up. Drop me a gif in the comments if that's easier, gifs are like greeting cards for saying the things we don't know how to otherwise express. Day 8 In your own space, share a favourite piece of original canon (a TV episode, a song, a favourite interview, a book, a scene from a movie, etc) and explain why you love it so much. My love of Starz shows seems to kick off in second seasons. For Da Vinci's Demons in S2e04 – starts around here: https://youtu.be/cQi4xjrBmgI?t=11m27s This is the moment I fell in love with younger!hotter!Riario, aka Blake Ritson in a wig, because hair kink. But also the moment I finally liked Lucrezia too, seeing her devotion to her sister. If you want me to like a character, have them adore and protect their little sister, if you want me to hate them, have them throw little sis under the bus. Riario tries to spare both girls, succeeds in saving only one, and his grief is evident as he speaks with a heartbroken Lucrezia. This scene changed how I felt about both Riario and Lucrezia and thus about the show and my fannish involvement. Similarly this humorous moment changed my feelings about Silver and SilverFlint in the opening episode of S2 Black Sails : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIt9u7CkBf0 when Silver completely misunderstands the plan and volunteers for a risky mission. This tumblr post shows what happens next: http://alightabovethearbys.tumblr.com/post/168194826519 It's even better later when they get on board, leading to Flint's exasperated "Well what the fuck did you think was going to happen?" You can see some gifs from all those Silverflint moments in S2 here: http://jolinarofmalkshur.tumblr.com/post/168381696381/john-silver-appreciation-week-day-6-favorite

The Add On is called Photobucket Album Downloader (Unlimit) and you can find it here.
Unfortunately, it is not free. You need to pay I assume the equivalent to 2 US dollars (I paid 25 mexican pesos), but that is faaaar cheaper than what Photobucket is asking.
I gladly paid it because I so wanted to delete my presence from Photobucket once and for all and it pissed me off how they were preventing me from accessing my own pictures unless I disabled UBlock. And that meant being overwhelmed by suspicious Ads and dangerous scripts that were fortunately caught by Chrome.
Once you buy and install the add-on, this button will show up when you log in to a Photobucket album:
(It’s the one below the Story Embed link)
You need to download each album individually and then your “Bucket” for those pictures that are not organized in albums.
It took me around half an hour to download all the albums from my Simlish (mostly CC previews), Simgaroop (just few pics) and kangaroop (my Legacy pics) accounts, and I have already deleted them.
I ended up with this mess:
I am afraid I was unable to save all my Legacy pics because I hosted some in a fourth photobucket account (I was poor and couldn’t afford a subscription, so I created many accounts to reduce the bandwidth load) that I can’t access anymore
However, I was smart enough to save a bunch of pictures (around 300) that tell the Legacy story in a condensed way. I may post them in the future as a way to preserve my legacy in some way. Probably here on Tumblr.
And oh my God, the 2007 look of my Sims is SO dated!! :D

(I think this was the very first custom Maternity Outfit I ever used. I had just discovered Squinge’s mod!)

In seriousness, this safe mode crap is just... ugh. I've seen pictures of frogs flagged. :| Ofc I have been followed by more porn blogs after they implemented it than before.
Haha, maybe it’s their close association with French people and how they can and will swear a lot. Such vulgarity. :p
But yeah, that’s like shining a bright spotlight on your blog for porn bots…maybe that’s their new strategy to get them reported?

Whats going on with photobucket? (I switched to flicker ages ago, but I still have old PB account for old posts) And in one of the staff posts, they said that photo posts (vice text posts with photos) get erroneously tagged more frequently and they are "working on it"...
It seems that Photobucket changed their policy about “3rd party hosting” and now you would have to pay an exorbitant sum per year to use that “feature”. That’s just an incomprehensible move. Like they think we’ll panic enough to pay for this without looking for alternatives?
But it’s pretty annoying that instead of seeing the actual picture, now you’ll see this:
So yeah, I’m going to edit that one and I’ll try to look for an other pictures hosting site in the future if there are no changes...
And hopefully this Safe Mode debacle is going to get resolved. It doesn’t bother me personally, but this filtering is supposed to ease browsing and if you have to doubt every filtered posts you come across and have to check, there really is not point.

I think Photobucket is trying to screw us all....so its just time to go. Tumblr tagged my Pride photo as NSFW.....I have pics of actual sex scenes left untagged, but a pride parade was to much for them.
I’ve used it because I’ve set an account there years ago and I couldn’t be bothered to set a new one (one more) somewhere else, but yeah, that’s seem a bit greedy and I don’t really like the direction it’s taking. So I’m going to wait and I’ll see about getting another images hosting site if they’re dead set on this.
And I’m pretty curious as to what they’re using to auto-check if something is NSFW. It’s really baffling.

No prob! Sketchbookpixels mentioned madaya74 on TSR showed them how the script works, and madaya has a few double beds with entry from one side for both sims, if it helps. I'll look into them too, I'm kinda curious!
I knew about madaya74′s double beds and that’s actually what made me think it would be possible with some of EA’s beds. :)
And when testing in game, I actually get the same results with pets not being able to use the side that’s against the wall (I also get a weird glitch with blankets that may be due to bone assignment?). Right now, I’m not seeing where I could change that.
But you say there is some scripting involved? When looking at the Additional Entry and Exit mod, I understood some scripting was needed so sims will be assigned to the different entry and exit slots. But the mechanics seem a bit different for beds?
I think maybe I’m not doing enough when I’m trying to make new entries and maybe I’m not assigning the right bones to the right slots. I’m not sure, really, I’ll have to inspect the files more thoroughly.
And if I really can’t find a solution, I could share the beds as they are, if that doesn’t bother you, at least?

5 Features Beginners Need When Choosing a Blog Web Hosting Provider
5 Features Beginners Need When Choosing a Blog Web Hosting Provider
When I went to purchase my first blog web hosting account, there was little information available about which features I needed. So I installed a blog on my hosting account the hard way. You have to remember, this was before video tutorials so the only way to get a blog was to install it yourself!
I personally uploaded the blog program to my hosting account, following the directions to install the MySql database and all the other nifty techie stuff I needed to make a blog work. Problem was, I'm not techie! It was not easy and it took me about two days to get it up and running.
Luckily, times and technology has changed. Many of today's blog web hosting providers offer one click installation of WordPress and other blogs. Today's technology has made it possible to have the whole process done in less than a minute. Wow, how times have changed!
Here are 5 Features you need to make sure that your blog web hosting provider includes before purchasing a hosting account.
1. CPanel – The blog web hosting provider you choose should have CPanel so you can easily maintain your blog. There are other companies like DreamHost, GoDaddy and 1and1 that have their own custom dashboards that work as easily as CPanel does.
2. Fantastico – This is an auto installation program that will install a number of programs and scripts for you with minimal effort. Often times with only a click of a button. It makes it really easy to set up a blog or personal website. Programs such as WordPress, bulletin boards, photo galleries and much more. Most web host provide Fantastico with CPanel, but not all.
3. Multiple Domain Hosting – If you're just looking to host a personal blog, then this will not matter to you. But if you're looking for easy web hosting so you can run multiple blogs or websites, then make sure the blog web hosting provider offers the ability to host multiple domains on one account. Some will only let you host 1 domain while other will allow you to host more than one.
4. Domain Registration – Although it's pretty easy to buy a domain in one place and then host you website in another, not everyone wants to fool with this. For this reason, you may want to make sure the blog web hosting provider you choose offers domain registration. What's even better is if the blog web hosting provider will give you a free domain for buying their web hosting services.
5. Customer Service – Before I sign up with any blog web hosting provider, I email the company and ask a few simple questions. I already know the answers to the questions before I send them. What I'm looking for is how quick they get back to me and how informative their answers are. This gives me an idea how well they take care of their customers.
Do not worry too much about storage space or bandwidth. If you're running a small to medium sized blog, chances are you'll never have to worry about this. It's no secret that web hosting providers over sell their server space. Even with this said, you should have few problems with most of the web hosting providers.
If you plan to upload a lot of files like these family photos, I'd host those files at a third party site and just link to them from your blog. Some of the better third party photo hosting services you could link to from your blog are Flickr, Picaso from Google and Photobucket.
There are many blog web hosting providers out there that currently offer all the features I listed above. Do your research and compare feature for feature before settling on a personal blog hosting account. If you select wisely, you'll have years of worry free service and enjoyable blogging experience.
