Today's meeting

Had a meeting today with another concussion survivor today... Who agreed to participate in my project! I wanted 3-5 volunteers total, and Collin makes 5! Can't believe I achieved the higher end of my goal. That's a wrap!!! No more stressing out about trying to find volunteers. Now it's just time to photograph.

I love giraffes. Seriously. They’re the goofiest, awkwardest and yet the most endearing animals ever. My favorite thing is watching them run. It’s simultaneously hilarious and adorable. True story. When I was in #KrugerNationalPark (thanks Ruth!), giraffes were everywhere! I was in heaven. We drove around for hours exploring the park and every time I saw a giraffe, I was instantly captivated. I especially love this image because of its serenity. The giraffe in its natural environment is mesmerizing. As big as they are, seeing them in the African expanse makes them look relatively small. I love the layers of greens, whites and blues that help the giraffe stand out!
