A small little college girl was threatening the captain of Wakanda’s army with a tiny portable speaker. It would be chuckle worthy if she and the princess hadn’t been sent here to peacefully capture her and keep her safe.

Still though, Okoye permitted herself to mockingly gasp, mouth wide open as the child threatened her. “See how they teach their children to treat their guests??” she said in disbelief to the Princess, who seemed just a tad disapproving of how this whole encounter was going.

The speaker was thrown, and she didn’t even have to think about a reaction; it was autonomous from her years of training and combat. She raised her spear and deployed halfway, cleaning cutting the assuredly expensive device in two. She hid a smirk from the child’s shocked reaction.

“You brought a spear in here??” Both the child and the Princess pronounced. She looked at Shuri knowingly. The head of the Dora Milaje would never go anywhere without a weapon. And in any case, the child was not deterred for long: A much larger heater was next to be picked up, ready to be thrown.

Now that, that finally brought a broad smile to Okoye’s lips. “I like this one!!” Her determination and refusal to go with them was simultaneously cute and aggravating.

“Small, small child…I will give you two options. You can come with us back to Wakanda conscious…”

Here she reigned herself back in and contorted her smile to a frown that had a bite to it. She was not going to let this child’s misbehavior endanger her country, her mother the Queen, or the Princess.
