There's new Timed Research available to encounter Floragato in a hat in Pokemon GO if you enter the 907andLiko code in on their web store.
And the promo trailer for next week's episode. I thought when we saw the Nidothing hoodie in the OP that was the Nidothing super stan this episode was going to be featuring, but with the reveal they would be a Litten trainer yesterday, I wasn't exactly sure. But yep, it was actually a correct guess.

also very very important is the Video Game History Foundation. Set up by Frank Cifaldi, they attempt to gather as much material as possible from games when archiving them (source code, manuals, box art, promo materials, publications, etc). Due to the work of the foundation, they have more material and games archived than the Library of Congress. Let that sink in.
Unlike the film industry, which has a large portion of films and prints at the LoC, the games industry still hasn't seen the value or importance of archiving; which gets more difficult in a mostly digital era. (Check out the documentary 'Not for Resale: a game store documentary' for a more in-depth look about this) Lots of games being online only or playable only in a certain context provides difficulty for archivists. Like how do you go about preserving the game and experience of Pokemon Go? It doesn't come in a box and the context of the game is defined by the social interactions you make while playing.

Which Pokemon Are Going To Steal Your Money?
Ah, Pokemon. The Monsters of the Pocket. An endearing children’s icon, full of delightful creatures that fill the world with whimsy and wonder, and — wait, what’s that?
Well it seems this Jigglypuff has stolen all your money!
Really you should have known better. There are some Pokemon that are clearly looking for an opportunity to commit some kind of crime. Oh, not the Pokemon that want money, which would at this point be basically Gholdengo and Meowth, those are just greedy creatures that care about money more than they care about people, that’s not a crime. In fact, you can make the case under capitalism, that’s the one behaviour that capitalism wants to promote to the extent it can conceal and justify all the other things we consider crimes.
Consider instead this murderer’s row of creatures that are clearly unrepentant little bastards.
POKEMON: Purrloin PRISONER ID #0509
Take for example, this creature. Coloured as if somehow both grape and vanilla flavoured, while being neither, this four footed cad stands smugly in its feline repose — the cat being the most naturally criminal form of all animals. It is in the name of the creature from the very base: it is here to steal and it will do it while expressing nothing but the utmost of clean joy.
Now obviously, there’s something to be said about its evolved form, Liepard, but lying is just a good wholesome behaviour and we all know there are times and places for lying, such as when it’s really funny. What’s more, Liepard looks more like an actual cat, with the legs and head and it’s probably not actually going to be a mendacious dick about it.
It’s also obvious just looking at Purrloin that this little prick’s going to have the sassiest things to say about whatever it’s stealing. Not content to merely rob you in the course of your day-to-day actions, Purrloin is the kind of Pokemon to take your wallet and ask you if you bought it because a Youtuber gave you a promo code.
CRIME: Petty larceny, petty commentary
POKEMON: Obstagoon PRISONER ID # 0862
Behold in the grand scheme of life, in its dancing panoply of potentialities, in the ever-expanding constellation of related and reimagined forms of the Monsters of the Pocket, we have this. A badger that resolved to adorn itself like it was there, honest, when the Sex Pistols played.
When you take Zigzagoon, a perfectly charming little zig-zag raccoon, and transport it from its natural habitat towards the center of the British Empire, it takes almost no time whatsoever for it to change. While a Zigzagoon is a charming little creature who wants nothing but to pick up berries and flee from fights, taking it to Galar introduces it to a class system into which it immediately sorts itself an oppressed underclass, and its punk aesthetic. To this end, we must be clear, Britain is a fundamental cultural sickness and its impact on the world can be considered a type of crime unto itself.
CRIME: Breaking and entering, monarchism.
POKEMON: Sableye PRISONER ID # 0302
Setting aside for a moment the way that Sable-eye’s name is clearly spelled strangely for its pronunciation, it can’t help that. Nor am I about to judge it unfairly for its natural shyness, which may have led to its strange sulking overtones.
With a creature typing that seems to be immediately useful and then is proven in practice to be immediately not, Sableye has always been unwilling to cooperate with the desires of players since its appearance. It even hangs out where Zubats do, so to find it you have to endure the Pokemon version of I Would Like To Add You To My Professional Network On Linkedin emails.
Sableye is a cave dwelling gremlin with gems for eyes that left to its own devices will both impersonate children and steal jewels. You can see both of these things at work with its mega evolution, where it has both an enormous gemstone, and a smile. And who can trust things that smile?
CRIME: Violation of mineral rights.
POKEMON: Banette PRISONER ID # 0354
See what I mean?
In such a list one might imagine it too easy to bring up the ghost types that are in some way mournful or tragic and make the idea that being sad is itself some form of crime, but no! No, it is not that Drifbloom is a ghost that makes it terrible, it is that it steals children. Misdreavous is merely sad, and Spiritomb is Sableye’s edgy cousin who wants to sign its name with a Cool S.
But what of Banette? The Pokemon takes on a form that resembles something from a particularly cheap horror movie or a really expensive James Rolfe sketch. It is an clearly evil ghost that explicitly curses people with evil curses as a matter of petty revenge for merely being fired from its previous job of ‘child’s plush toy.’ It’s one thing to lose your job but it’s another thing to turn into a zipper-mouthed spirit of hatred because of it. At that point, the job was yours to lose, and it’s simply not appropriate to stalk your previous boss (in this case, a child).
CRIME: Anticapitalist sentiment.
POKEMON: Graifaiai PRISONER ID # 0945
Ew, what the hell is that.
Oh, I see, I see. Newest generation of Pokemon and all that.
It’s strange because on first glance I thought this one lived alongside Obstagoon as a creature that once presented with a society full of boots tried to find the one to lick. But no, it’s from the even more recent Scarlet and Violet games, and since I haven’t played those there’s a limit to what I can say of the crimes of this tiny rapscallion.
Now one might imagine there is some case to be made that Graifaiai deserves to be considered a kind of criminal against good taste because of its association with graffiti, but that you’ll find is a form of civic art and is in fact, a type of media that should be respected and protected by its community and those leaders. You square.
No, Graifaifai’s just on this list because it won’t stop licking its goddamn fingers before it touches stuff, and while that may not be a crime it is bloody gross and you should knock it off.
CRIME: Lack of commitment
POKEMON: Whimsicott PRISONER ID # 0547
Some things are just obvious.
CRIME: Tax Evasion, specifically your dad’s.
There! Hopefully you’re now more prepared for the next time you start considering which Pokemon to add to your team when considering the ones who will absolutely ruin your life, if not your dad’s life.
Check it out on PRESS.exe to see it with images and links!

(Over) Analyzing Pokemon Hints (8)
Busy week! For announcements and for personal stuff.
Indigo Disk releases tomorrow! In Pokemon Masters EX there were still evee evolution events ending on the 7th, the same day the final Indigo Disk trailer was released. On the Pokemon Masters EX Twitter/X account there was some promo with screenshots of Nate’s new event, which I’m hoping is hinting at what will happen soon. (Because it involves spoilers, I won’t go into it for now).
Viola has just gotten an event. It’s most likely a just because Winter event with Viola. I am wondering if it has anything to do with Perrin, who I’m assuming we’ll be seeing in the DLC. It could also be a hint to Perrin being added soon, but I don’t think that will happen for a while yet. Probably not until we get a few more Hisui character events (like maybe Calaba and Palina?).
Pokemon Cafe Remix will be getting a special event where you can get a Holiday outfit Torterra. Maybe this has to do with the Sinnoh Legendary events in Scarlet and Violet?
Pokemon GO will be getting a Wyrdeer Raid event on December 23rd. I know it’s probably because Wyrdeer is a reindeer, so Chirstmas themed, but I’m still wondering if it’s hinting at something else.
The final episode for Paldean Winds was released today. I didn’t expect it to come on the day right before Indigo Disk comes out.
In my Indigo Disk trailer post I didn’t realize the code for the Mystery Gift Darkrai is “new moon is coming”. ...For some reason that scares me. I’m… I’m sure it’s just because Darkrai’s Mystery Gift Sinnoh events took place on New Moon island, and it’s because there was a new moon, but I feel like this is hinting at something big.
If it is hinting at some sort of connection to the Sinnoh games, something like a follow-up to PLA (whether this is in the DLC, the anime, or hinting something for next year). I’ll be really happy if it does mean something, but this still scares me.
The UK Pokemon Twitter/X account posted a gif of the Sitting Cuties plushie line, two of which were Hisuian Voltorb and Hisuian Electrode.
The UK and US Twitter/X accounts posted a countdown promo for Indigo Disk’s release tomorrow, featuring the Unova starters. I wonder if this is hinting at Unova characters appearing in Indigo Disk or if it’s hinting at Unova remakes next year. It’s most likely just what it is, countdown with Unova Starters, but I still find it interesting they specifically chose the Unova starters for this one.
The Japanese Pokemon Twitter/X account has promoted really cute iPhone SE cases. One is pink with Pikachu and Eevee, and the other is black with Espeon and Umbreon.
Possibly hints to Johto remakes. I just wanted to mention them because they’re really cute.
PokePark Kanto was announced. I don’t know if it’s like a special event or if it’s something more permanent. From what I’ve read on Serebii it seems to be part of an amusement park where you can find wood carvings of Pokemon in their natural habitats. PokePark Kalos and Paldea have also been trademarked, but it’s unknown if they’re placeholders or will be happening. I’m wondering if these parks will be appearing in their real world equivalents.
I don't plan on posting a review or anything for Indigo Disk. I'm going to try to avoid the internet as much as possible so I don't see spoilers, because Youtube really likes recommending them, lol.

Where can you obtain the promo codes?
Although not all Trainers may be aware, redeeming free promo codes in Pokemon Go can yield some pretty impressive rewards. However, it can be challenging to find these codes, as they are not always readily available. Occasionally, Niantic will share them on their official Twitter account, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for any announcements.
As stated on the Niantic website, the company provides a finite quantity of one-time use promo codes in connection with specific events or sponsored partnerships.
As of February 19, 2023, three new codes have been included to recognize Legendary encounters.

Me and my friends have been looking for Pokemon Go players to add in the game:
2868 5020 6928
2425 2008 1291
067555810683
Heyo, I'm not a Pokemon Go player, that's so I share my promo codes 😌🪻 I don't need them. I can share my other amazon prime codes if I'm not playing the game and the game content has a code for copy and share, so let me know ;) Good luck for your team 🤍✨

But you also need to understand that the quality of the games has gone down significantly.
On day one, most games are broken. You need to update day-one patches and the game is not complete and ready to go in-box. You need wifi and internet in order to access the patches.
Games like Pokemon have devolved (heh) in quality to the point where nintendo was actively accepting refunds of Scarlet/Violet day one.
There's the aspect of pre-ordering games as well. You used to get cool things for pre-ordering games but nowadays you maybe get a promo-code or something in-game.
More and more games these days also require a stable internet connection, something that doesn't come cheap at all, at least where I'm from.
We know how many games as of late ship day one nearly unplayable. And yet we keep pre-ordering the trash.
This isn't about graphics or anything either, so don't try to swing it that way. Ofc most games nowadays look better than games from 20+ years ago. (Unless they were stylized, *cough* Windwaker *cough* Katamari Damacy *cough*) though I guess you could argue that graphics are so heavily pushed that even stylized games like Pokemon suffer from horrible rendering issues due to a lack of optimization.
So no, I don't think it's fair to compare the pricings when the quality of the games has dropped significantly since we were kids.
"kids are being priced out of new games" incorrect. Games are cheaper adjusted for inflation than they historically have been. The number gives you sticker shock because you're old. Console games have always been expensive and I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but if your parents could afford to buy you Super Mario World you don't actually know what you're talking about re: games being unreasonably expensive

Pokemon GO PSA for Verizon Users
Attention Verizon users: Verizon has a PoGo Promo code for you! The promo code will give you a raid pass, two incense, and 65 Pokeballs.
To get your promo code, you need to visit Verizon’s promo website, log into your Verizon account, and then choose the PoGO offer to get your code!
Side note: When you go to receive your promo code on Verizon’s website, there are two buttons to choose from named “Wireless” and “Home”. I don’t know the difference between the two, but the “Home” option wasn’t working for me; but the “Wireless” option worked fine.
After you get your promo code, you can redeem it either by using the Promo Redemption box in Pokemon GO’s store or by using Niantic’s Offer Redemption website. If you use an iOS device, you’ll need to redeem it on Niantic’s website.
