Makoto Naegi "Pop-Up Parade" figure finally unveiled, pre-orders now live

After being initially announced in November 2022, the Makoto Naegi figure from the Pop-Up Parade line has finally been unveiled! AND pre-orders are currently open (this is the North American link).

They've even been thoughtful enough to include a photo of him standing alongside the existing Kyoko Kirigiri figure, because DO NOT SEPARATE THEM

..................that's not what Kiri's actual figure base looks like at all, so I assume that isn't going to be Makoto's real base either.

The actual figure won't ship until Q3 2025, which seems.... far. But dammit, WE'LL MAKE IT.

Good Smile Company has teased the silhouette for Mikan Tsumuki's Pop-Up Parade figure, which will debut at WonHobby36 on FEB 12 (Sunday).

Release date TBD.

The figure, and all other newly announced figures at the event, will be available to view on the WonHobby gallery when the event goes live.

Tokyo Disneyland's really going out of their way to spread the absolute, objective truth about the one and only Donald Duck.

Donald is the best at what he does, and what he does is the best. Everyone is here celebrating the Duck of the year!

Even though it rained almost the entire day I visited, the adoration for this number one duck would brighten anyone's day.

As I said earlier today, GoodSmile has announced their next Danganronpa Pop-Up Parade figure, a "LARGE SCALE" version of Servant Komaeda from Ultra Despair Girls, which is now available for pre-order! This marks the first Ultra Despair Girl-licensed fig in the series.

....and yes, the "Large" label does mean it's not in scale with the other Dangnaronpa Pop-Up Parade figures.

In which my greed for Mirai Nikki merch is insatiable so I unrealistically fantasize about MORE Pop-Up Parade figures

Now that we're FINALLY going to get a new Yuno figure, I can't help but wonder if we have any chance of getting another Mirai Nikki/Future Diary character into the Pop-Up Parade lineup.

I figure the odds are EXTREMELY LOW. It took us ages just to get the most popular and iconic character from the series.

But if there's any chance in hell of it happening?

WHAT I WANT: Yukiteru Amano, of course. Despite how much flak he tends to get, I am a notable defender/fan of the guy.

WHAT FEELS MORE LIKELY: Either Aru Akise (because he's long been the second-most-popular character) or Minene Uryuu (I estimate she's probably #3... and Pop-Up Parade does way more figures of girls than guys, which is why I think she could sneak in there).

PONDERING: "Would life in plastic truly be fantastic?"

Make no mistake: I'd buy any and all characters they chose to produce if they ever made more. Even if they were like "Here's fuckin'... Gremory, idk, take it bitches" I'd be lining up with my bowl like:

Of course, the MOST likely result is that we don't get anyone past Yuno herself. She's far and away the biggest icon of the series. But hey, I can always dream.

In truth, after my big campaign last year for our Yuno fig, I hope y'all know by now that my next semi-realistic goal is just to get official releases of the whole manga in friggin' English.
