#Princess Diaries Themed Slumber Party

With the Ambani wedding coming up in the month on July, the celebrations seem to have already begun. The bride-to-be Radhika Merchant’s bridal squad decided to throw her a bridal shower with a dreamy PrincessDiaries-themed slumber party. Actress Janhvi Kapoor dropped a few pictures from the celebration on social media.

This is self indulgent but cute. But a White Ash based event that is slumber party theme.

One of the newer traditions at White Ash that became a thing in the past few decades is a school wide slumber party. Right before students go home for winter break as a way to unwind after exams is a day dedicated to relaxing. Think a regular schools pajama day but cranked to ten.

Students go to classes in their pajamas instead of their uniforms, all classes are far more laid back and are really just free periods or to watch movies. But the big thing is what happens after class let's out for the day. The main hall is decorated in lights and games and activities are set up everywhere for students. From a room being dedicated to board games, to a craft table, to an area to do hair and makeup. But the big thing everyone looks forward to is in the schools ballroom. The grand staircase had been turned into a giant slide, complete with mattresses for students to slide on.

Yuu is, of course, at the party. Either because they were invited or taking a break from NRC to try WAI. Either way, they are looking forward to it, Grim is eager to see the fuss, especially the mountain of snacks and pizza promised to be served.

Maybe all the while, the NRC gang is trying to infiltrate, because of course they, in order to get Yuu back. Cue shenanigans of them in disguise getting roped into the activities.

I just have funny visions of Red doing really domestic kid friendly and kid activities. Just being the househusband in a way and the doting father he is to his kids.

Like him building Agnes (and future children of his) a cool treehouse/cubby house. And him installing things like a small kitchen, little dining area and maybe a slide in said tree/cubby house. I imagine he loves spending time hosting pretend tea parties and donning a small my little pony apron to cook things for his little girl (and future children) and their little friends.

And anther vision has occurred. Just also thinking Red probably agrees to host slumber parties (a la Princess Diary 2 style) for his kid's little friends. Liz is amazed how giddy Red gets with the planning and splurging. Dembe is dragged into helping but he doesn't mind cause his little granddaughter gets to be part of it too and how can he say no to that? There's probably more to add but that's all I can think of right now.

Omg anon 😍 This is so adorable, it made me squeal!! I think you're absolutely right, Red would 1000% go all out to spoil his girls bc 1) he misses doing that for Jennifer once upon a time & 2) he has craved a normal family life for so long so why wouldn't he 🥺 I can totally see him building the COOLEST tree house for Agnes (& the all kids 👍) in the span of like a month since he's "retired" now & Lizzie is still probably working as a psychologist in some capacity. I can totally see him being the overall handyman, wandering around with a carpenter's apron fixing & adding all the little things Lizzie would like around their house, as well as decking the tree house out with window boxes, kitchenette, slide (yes!), rope ladder, & probably a trap door or hammock just for fun. Plus, I bet he & Agnes would have so much fun painting it pink & purple together!! And YES I think he would DEF be the host of SO MANY tea parties, complete with homemade scones & muffins, made by Red wearing a MLP apron for sure, worn with pride. And OMG the image of Red planning a full-out slumber party (PRINCESS DIARIES 2 ❤️) for Agnes & her friends, bustling around the house trying to prepare everything, thoughtfully asking Lizzie, "Do you think the girls would prefer vanilla or chocolate cupcakes, Lizzie? Oh, silly me, obviously I should make both." & Lizzie is just there like 🥰🥰🥰 & of course Uncle Dembe is roped into wearing fairy wings & princess dresses for Agnes's themed parties & OF COURSE cousin Elle & Auntie Isabelle are invited bc???
