Mike: Maybe– maybe I don’t want you to be friends with Badboyhalo. Maybe because of that–
YD: No, you won’t do that! You won’t tear us apart, Badboyhalo is my best friend! >:O
Mike: You can fool Bad, you can fool Phil, you can fool everyone else on this Island, but you can't fool me! I know you're a thief.
YD: Let's be honest– you like me, so you're jealous, right?
Mike: Oi? NO– no no no no– It’s because I know you’re a thief. One thief can recognize another.
YD: Say you like me.
Mike: NO! No no no no–
YD: I'm a thief?! You're crazy, you're crazy.
Mike: I'm leaving, I'm leaving, I'm leaving–

Trying to type characters from books y’all probably don’t recognise
Or you do know them, in which case outside opinions are helpful :) Even if you don’t know the series, I’ll try to give some examples and explain my reasonings so you can correct me if I’m wrong on definitions or if I’m interpreting things in a not so correct way
Today’s edition: The Mysterious Benedict Society I’ll just be typing the main 4 characters
**beware, spoilers may/will be present**
-
Reynard Muldoon: INTJ
Throw away the stereotypes because Reynie is seriously such a sweet kid, he’s never cold and unfeeling. And yet, he’s still insanely logical, so don’t go telling me he’s a feeler.
Whilst trying to type Reynie, there were several problems I encountered. The biggest of which being whether he had Ni or Ti in his top two functions. The reason Ti came to mind is because Reynie’s often asking lots of questions and trying to figure out “why?”. I know that everyone can ask questions, but one of the defining characteristics of Ti is that it wants to understand things, which often leads it to asking a lot of questions about “why?”. He’s definitely highly logical (which led me to call him a thinker), and Ti seemed (at first) like it made sense. However, if he had Ti in one of his top two functions, he would be a Perciever. And my boy Reynie is anything but. He’s the one everyone looks to when they need a plan. He’s the one who comes up with all the plans. He feels extremely uncomfortable when he doesn’t have a plan. I may not be comfortable with anything else I’ve called him, but I know he’s a judger. So, if he’s a thinker and a judger, he has to have Te. That’s just how that works. Although I see lots of Ti in him, he just isn’t a perceived, and Te does make a fair amount of sense. Then, with that problem out of the way, I didn’t even have to worry about dealing with Ni. I know he’s very perceptive to patterns, which can be seen in a scene very early in the first book. He’s taking a test that had been advertised in the paper for gifted children. If I’m not mistaken, he’s the only one who figured out that all of the answers to all of the questions were inside the questions themselves. Qs 1-20’s answers were in Qs 21-40, and vice versa. Of course they were phrased in a way that you had to be paying attention to catch it, but they were still there. And he’s the only one who caught it. So either everyone sucks at picking up on patterns or he’s just got some really high Ni.
And so, the only part left to figure out is whether he’s a introvert or extravert. This kid spent most of his childhood before the setting of the book completely alienated by the other children in the orphanage, and he didn’t seem to mind it much. He was always happy just being able to be by himself in the library, reading a nice book by himself. Although he does greatly cherish his friendships as the novels progress, he still very much feels like an introvert to me, at least.
So, putting it all together, we get INTJ! Feel free to start friendly debates in the comments/reblogs/tags, I’m happy to hear anyone else’s thoughts if they think anything else! Just please keep it respectful!

Constance Contraire: ENTJ
Very similar to Reynie, I just realised… oh well.
I’m not so positive about much else, but Constance is pure Ni. Her level of Ni makes Reynie look like he wouldn’t be able to notice the pattern in a sequence of circle, square, circle, square, etc. I mean, oh my gosh… just… pure Ni right here. For those of you who are unaware, this book series is focused on the adventures of four children, all who are gifted in different ways. Constance, despite the fact that she advanced very quickly for her age (she was 2 in the first book (I think) and was still able to participate in extremely important ways to things that were going on), is essentially hypersensitive to patterns. Like, she could be in a room and someone could be walking quietly down the hallway and she’d know exactly who it was and where they were, just by picking up on sound or whatever it is. Her brain so effortlessly picks up on all sorts of patters without her even knowing it, which feels a ton like Ni to me. My only issue with this is she doesn’t feel like a judger, she doesn’t appear to me as someone who’d care much at all about organisation or plans, but Ni is dominant or auxiliary only for judgers, and I’m not going to argue with that.
The rest of what I have is only assumptions, and I’m open to hearing other opinions.
I think I heard somewhere (a Frank James video?) that, for example, people whose dominant function is a perceiving function (Ni, Ne, Si, Se) would more often come home from work or school or whatever and, when asked how their day went, they would talk more about the things that happened versus the people and interactions/whatever was going on with them, and the opposite for people whose dominant function is judging (Fi, Fe, Ti, Te). Constance, to me, feels like the kind of person who would come home (or wherever home was at the moment) and complain about how stupid everyone seemed all day and how dumb everything they did was. This would mean her dominant function would be her judging function, which would have to be extraverted if her other highest function is introverted. So she’d then be an extravert. You could also make the argument that if she were talking with Mr Benedict (someone she cares an insane amount about), for example, she’d talk about all the cool things she did. But, I still feel that in most scenarios this wouldn’t be the case, so I stand by what I decided on above. There’s even the argument where (completely ignoring everything I’ve said above, just focus on Exxx vs Ixxx right now) she lived alone in the storage room of a library for who knows how long (several weeks? months?). That definitely feels introverted to me, but it could also be irrationality and fear keeping her down there. I don’t know, other thoughts are helpful.
The last thing we need to figure out is whether she’s a feeler or thinker, or in other words whether she’s an Fe or Te dom. To me, Constance doesn’t seem to care much about what other people want. She’ll steal your ice cream when you aren’t looking, when you’re playing the steal/share game (I don’t feel like explaining it, so for your reference it is described in the first chapter of “The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Prisoner’s Dilemma” (aka the third book)) she’ll choose steal because she wants the other people (her friends) playing to have to suffer the consequences, she just doesn’t seem to care much about caring for others. So this would leave her being a thinker, which although I don’t think I’d necessarily call her logical, she is just a little kid and she really doesn’t feel like a feeler.
So, putting all that together, she’d be an ENTJ. Other opinions are welcome, I’d love to talk about it!

Kate Wetherall: ESFP
I wanted to call her an ESTP (and she might very well be one), but I’ll stick with ESFP for the purposes of my explanations
Total Se dom, I’m not even going to argue about that. She has insanely good spacial awareness and is very much a hands-on person. One of her special gifts is that, just by looking at something, even for just a moment, she can tell you exactly how long it is. No doubt about it, she’ll know. Once she was down in a storm drain (? I think it was a storm drain) to help a girl get the pencil she’d dropped down there. Despite the fact that it was probably super dark down there, she knew exactly how deep the crack the pencil feel down was. She’s high energy, always looking for adventure, very extraverted. I’m not sure what else to say, but man does she have high Se. At this point a lot of it’s just a feeling I get, but I trust it.
So, if she’s an Se-dom, she has to be an ESxP. The only two options from here on forth are ESTP and ESFP, and for some reason I’ve settled on ESFP. I don’t think she’s super logical, she sort of feels like a feeler… not sure…
I actually have no idea if she’s an F or T, so if any of you know the books, I’d appreciate some assistance!
-
George “Sticky” Washington: IxTx
No idea with this kid, I also haven’t thought too much about his… nothing seems to jump out to me as STICKY except for introvert… but that’s not much to go off of…
He doesn’t seem to be very social, he seems like he’d be perfectly happy to spend less time around people (aside from the three people above, they as a group are inseparable, it tears them apart inside to be apart from one another for too long).
I call him a thinker, but I wouldn’t argue if you called him a feeler.
I really have no clue with this kid, assistance would be appreciated!

Well, either of your ideas that you had written was already written before (albeit differently) by someone else a while back basically (out of the fact that I made questions similar to the ones I gave you which resulted in tumblr bloggers giving me different answers to them).
gingerly-writing: to this ask I filled out for them. I’m pretty fucking pissed off, and I’ve had my fury checked out by uninvolved parties to make sure it was righteous. It’s righteous.
Me: Not entirely so.
gingerly-writing: First off, feel free not to send people rude-ass messages after they’ve put time and effort into coming up with a response to you?
Me: The top comment there (the “Well, either of your ideas” comment) wasn’t really the rude comment I typed out. The other one was (which I’m sorry for) which you didn’t copy paste in your third post so other bloggers can see it as that public evidence is vital for context.
gingerly-writing: Also, I thought you were going to use my idea and have me to thank you or something for it when I came up with something like my asks I gave you and something to the equivalent of your “heroes and villains school” stuff before I replied to your ask box sometime ago. Basically, wanting me to give you undeserved credit for my very own idea. I certainly didn’t know you were going to make comments like this either.
So, I actually have a hero and villain school in my own original superhero works, and I did come up with a solution to this one. If you’re writing your own original stuff, please change this up, but if you’re writing fic I don’t mind if you nick it wholesale (as long as you tag me in it! I’d love to read it).
Y’know, for me, this was just background information, but now I kind of want to write a whole book focusing on it.
gingerly-writing: It took me a good 45 minutes to get tumblr to accept my answer to your damn ask, so you’ve just made that a waste of my time.
Me: Maybe. But, from below, you were not bettering the situation.
gingerly-writing: Also, feel free to simply not respond rudely to people’s posts, at all, ever, especially if you were the one who sent the ask in the first place. I didn’t need to know how shit my ideas are, thanks.
Me: Yeah...not really sure where you’re going with this. Are you saying your ideas were horrible because they were based on my idea and how I spread more around on tumblr? Or do you think I’m saying your ideas were horrible because you think I’m somehow saying, implying or thinking that?
Either why, that comment of yours was not helpful for anyone. Yourself included.
gingerly-writing: Also, as a more general PSA, feel free not to send identical asks to multiple bloggers.
Me: Not happening. As I can sent any ask at any time by my own free will. As is my right.
gingerly-writing: Seeing someone else answer the same ask really disincentivizes me to answer it, even if it’s in my queue: I worry about stepping on the other responder’s feet,
Me: Well, to be fair, I can understand the sentiment there. Still, what you say next will lower that sentiment.
and also, it’s motherfuckin rude, you absolute assclown.
Me: Childish name calling. So...how is it you’re any better with what you had said. What would you benefit from doing that other then venting out your anger. ...Which ironically enough I didn’t even do here and wouldn’t now just so I won’t sink to your level of rudeness.
gingerly-writing: And if you do send multiple asks and get similar responses, maybe it’s simply because it’s a good fucking idea. If you get different answers, maybe it’s because we’re all different fucking people with awesome different ideas that I’m not sure you deserve.
Me: You know what, I’ll be upfront, and say that I should have not jumped the gun and assumed the worse and could’ve worded my comments better (or just replied privately about the whole matter), you, on the other hand, didn’t do much of anything to resolve the situation as best as you should’ve. In the end, you basically became me. But a little worse.
gingerly-writing
: feel free to block me on the way out
Me: Already did. I’m hoping you don’t treat other bloggers the way you had treated me. Especially if they were nicely bringing up stuff to your attention among other things. And especially, even, in the ‘ginning once they asked you something.
gingerly-writing: #I try to be nice on this site #but I have my limits #and now I'm in rage mode #the asks and the answers #rude #ungrateful
Me: As if you were better with your own fair share of rudeness that might be on the level of hackedmotionsensors’.
hackedmotionsensors: THIS PERSON IS SO WEIRD!! All they ever do is send these bizarre questions about the DCEU being in MCU!
Me:  Actually, that's not ALL I do. I asked other questions too. And my qs aren't as weird as any one else's either, hacked. Best to not go by assumptions and call people weird for what they say or do. Be it in front of their faces or behind their backs. Also, don't like me or my qs? Then either block me or just blacklist my name.
See ya...never, I guess.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here’s some context on what I was talking about on this post:
TumblrFrostbite: How would you want schools for villains' kids (for Marvel villains' kids, for DC villains' kids, etc) to be ran? And who would you want to run those schools?
gingerly-writing: This is one of those things that I’ve put way too much thought into after you sent this, because I love stuff like this. The question is, are the villains running this school for their kids, or is this something the heroes are putting on to try and rehabilitate the kids while their parents are in prison? I’ll assume the former, but the latter is also super interesting to me.
Disclaimer: this will have a strong DC bent because I have little to no interest in most Marvel villains, whereas I could yack on about DC villains for month. In fact, I might just stick to DC in its entirety because other than Loki (who would be the worst teacher ever, he would encourage so much shenanigans) most of the Marvel villains I know are Nazis or space monsters. Second disclaimer: I’ve watched a lot more animated DC movies and read a lot more fic than I ever have comics, soooooo these depictions might not be comic book accurate. Fanboys, please don’t come for me…but I also don’t really care that much tbh. I like the incarnations that I like. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Actual answer under the cut because this got hella long. Hope you like it!
Sponsor: Lex Luthor. Funds the school, shows up to speech day to give speeches and hand out prizes, gives the brightest and most stable kids scholarships to work at Lex Corp in the holidays. Absolutely 100% has his own ends, no one knows what they are. Chucks buckets of money at every problem. Likes to bring the school up at fancy soirees in front of Bruce Wayne and Oliver Queen just to piss them off.
Headmaster: Deathstroke (or rather, Slade from Teen Titans). Has no idea how he wound up with this job, complains about the pay 24/7 even though it’s in the range of millions of dollars a term paid in untraceable cash from 50 different countries. Basically ends up like Gordon Ramsey: threatens to assassinate the teachers and parents all the time, has actually taken out some abusive parents, but is weirdly, gruffly nice to the younger kids. Teachers self-defence to all the non-powered kids and weapons to anyone who’s interested and has the discipline for it. Grudgingly tolerates old man jokes.
Deputy Headmistress: Talia al Ghul. Absolutely terrifies all the older kids, mothers the younger ones. In charge of who graduates and who doesn’t; will only let kids graduate if their villainy won’t critically endanger their own life. Sometimes shows up in the backs of random classes and lurks there for ‘assessments’; shows up in more than 50% of Deathstroke’s classes to harass him about his technique. Keeps a photo of Damien on her desk, refuses to acknowledge it’s there if someone asks about it.
Biology: Poison Ivy. Excellent teacher, surprises both herself and her students at how brilliant she is. Everyone wants to take biology with her even if they have no villainous interest in the subject. Litters her lectures with feminist rants, eco-warrior tirades and talks about LGBT+ rights, will gently but forcefully correct anyone who disagrees with her. Runs a vegetable outside the school and encourages the kids to get closer to nature. Just enough passing knowledge of memes to make her older students roll about with laughter: ‘Batman’s homophobic because he inconveniences me and I’m gay’. PDAs with her girlfriend in the corridors.
Women and gender studies: Harley Quinn Ivy’s girlfriend, part time teacher. Wanted to take up the psychology post, but after she seriously suggested sharing it with Jonathan Crane (Scarecrow) no one wanted to let her anywhere near it. Knows every meme. Gives great relationship advice, will kill anyone’s abusive boyfriend with no questions asked. Brings her hyenas to school in a ridiculously massive handbag. Has her own locker.
Thievery, sneaking around, Gotham safety: Catwoman. Definitely brings in her cats to act as therapy/comfort animals for the kids. Unofficial therapist; absolutely mothers anyone from Gotham, no exceptions. Brings the kids super expensive (stolen) jewellery to wear on prom night and for big dances, charges in secrets about their parents.
Business and Economics, with a side in mind control: Maxwell Lord (in the more business-orientated editions). Keeps to himself, is one of those teachers who doesn’t actually seem to like kids. Always wears a freshly pressed suit. Bit of an asshole. Selina tripped him down the stairs once.
Magic: supposedly taught by Felix Faust, but Klarion enrolled as a student just to show up in his lectures and argue. Every. Single. Point. Magic classes have turned into a magical war several times. They can only get along when someone else turns up claiming magic isn’t real. Faust has a lecture prepared for the non-believers, Klarion has a fireball. Circe often shows up in these classes, ‘borrows’ all the female students for private lessons and turns all the boys into pigs. Pig-Klarion does not appreciate this.
Physics and advanced thermodynamics: Killer Frost. Gets on really well with the Gotham City Sirens; they have cocktail parties in the staff lounge every second Thursday. Is paid by other villains kidnapping Firestorm so she can feed. Absolutely has favourite students and students she hates with a passion; has been known to freeze some students to their chairs in lieu of detention.
Other random villains that show up from time to time: - Flash’s Rogues Gallery. Created the infamous ‘Rogues week’ at the end of the year where every single one of them shows up and helps the students wreak absolute chaos across the school. Can never be stopped from showing up and starting this. Captain Cold comes grudgingly, sits in Slade’s office and has a drink with him; the rest of the Rogues join in with the chaos a bit too enthusiastically. Best week for the seniors. The younger rogues would totally be students and help to smuggle the older ones in for Rogues week.
- Black Manta: shows up sometimes, teaches a few lectures, leaves. Always on super random topics, often tangentially related to his latest evil scheme. The students have a betting pool that reawakens after each visit on how his talk will relate to his next scheme. Literally no one understands why he shows up. Doesn’t get paid, doesn’t seem to enjoy it. ?????? Has great on-land fashion sense though. A lot of the older students have lowkey crushes on him
- Cheetah takes advanced genetics and many other complex of aspects of science. Only shows up to teach special classes for the seniors. High fives Ivy in the corridors.
- Deadshot. Sometimes shows up and interrupts Deathstroke’s guns lessons (poor guy can never teach a lesson in peace), always gets chased out of the school. Gets teary eyed over the young female students kicking ass. Doesn’t seem to do anything useful but somehow gets paid a salary. Sleeps in the gym when he’s on the run from Amanda Wakker/Batman.
- Hugo Strange keeps showing up in disguises and trying to get the psychology job. Last time it was just a fake moustache. What is he even hoping to achieve.
- Merlyn shows up when he’s bored to host archery competitions on the front lawn. Mostly does this when Oliver Queen is in town. Keeps saying he’s going to pick a protégé out of the best archers and never does because the Arrow Clan kids annoy him so much he’s wound up thinking he hates kids. Actually loves kids, pretends to be snooty and above them though. 100% has to prove he’s still the best archer at every competition, even the one for 12 year olds.
TumblrFrostbite: If the super villain academy children, by the time they hit twenty, had to do some VERY impressive villainous in order to graduate, what type of villainous stuff would you have the rookies villains do to not only graduate, but also to be considered as full fledged villains?
gingerly-writing: So, I actually have a hero and villain school in my own original superhero works, and I did come up with a solution to this one. If you’re writing your own original stuff, please change this up, but if you’re writing fic I don’t mind if you nick it wholesale (as long as you tag me in it! I’d love to read it).
My thought was: all villains are going to be different, with different strengths and gifts. Sending them all to, I don’t know, infiltrate an island or fight Black Canary (which no one would win, let’s be honest) doesn’t seem fair on those it doesn’t suit. I was really struggling to come up with something that could work for everyone that didn’t force them to work in a team, because, well…villainous teams never work so well. Too many egos and whatnot.
My solution was: have the kids pick their own challenges. Make it their end of final year project. They submit a fully researched plan, all the way from the developmental stages to the final polished article. Plans like ‘killing Batman’ or ‘blowing up the planet’ are swiftly vetoed, but as long as they’re convincing enough the plan can get as elaborate and dangerous as they like. Half the marks come from the plan itself, and half for execution. Sometimes, my particularly vindictive kiddos make their plan to screw over their nemesis’ plan; I particularly enjoy when their plans are both to screw over each others’ plans. That gets entertaining.
They’re assigned a teacher whose knowledge base best fits with the plan the kid wants to execute, and they submit and resubmit and re-resubmit it to improve and refine their scheme until it’s as perfect as it’s going to get. Then, with no further outside help, they have to execute it.
This method lets you titivate the grand finale to best suit your plot needs. Your character has a serious nemesis? Pitch them against each other. Parental grudge? Make their aim to foil their parent’s plans. Hero that they hate? Plan to ruin their day. Plus, you can shove in bureaucratic nightmares and whatever other problems you can dream up (sabotage, indecision, dreams too grand to execute) into the planning stages.
I’m not sure you could do anything in a school situation to make the outside world consider them ‘real villains’: that would take time, money, and a body count, all things a school probably can’t afford to have on their books, villainous or not. But a huge, large-scale, dramatic graduating plan probably wouldn’t hurt any young villain’s rep!
Y’know, for me, this was just background information, but now I kind of want to write a whole book focusing on it. xx

Let’s Comparison
While there are eight brand new Sims-contestants under my belt since last time, only four of them have seen release, so I don’t feel like I can justify a new Let’s Statistic to further round off the year. However, I have made up a new spreadsheet for the contestants for BCs and MMBCs that I’VE run! So both in terms of by itself and of comparing the Sims I’ve made to those I’ve had made for me, I’d say this is worth a look.
Note: the longer ago a BC / MMBC took place, the less likely it is that I have necessary details about them; this applies to Ewart in particular, but is also likely to apply to Chambers and Kiss of Death due to their relative non-recency. Ergo, it is possible I am wrong about a certain percentage of these. If the creators of the Sims for those BCs I’m uncertain about have any clarifications on these points, please feel free to correct me!
So far, for my projects, I’ve received sixty contestants. Seven for the Ewart BC; twelve for the Chambers MMBC; fourteen for the Limerence MMBC; fourteen for Slaughter or Salvage; seven for my side of Mimikyu BC (including Hotaru Marowak); and six out of a possible eleven/twelve for UTAU MMBC.
As things currently stand, I have made twenty-one more contestants than I have received, at eighty-one.
Of these sixty, the Special Snowflake ratio is: twelve Special Snowflakes, twenty-six who nearly count, eleven who barely count, and eleven who do not count.
Reef Seamount of Limerence is the only uncertainty in the last category, being potentially LGBTQ (due to entering for an NB DFAB person), but not confirmed as such to my knowledge. Besides him, four of the not-trans not-queer not-disabled Sims are a part of Ewart’s alumini; the rest are from Chambers.
In terms of percentages and ratios, roughly 43.3% of my received contestants are in the Nearly sector, compared to 32.1% of my made contestants; compare the 20% to 35.8% in the Complete Snowflake sectors. The later into my Simblr development a BC took place, the more likely it is that a contestant will be a Snowflake.
Eighteen of the fifty-nine use the male rig in-game, regardless of actual gender; forty-two use the female rig. I’ve heard it said in the past that there is a bias in the Simblr BC community towards submitting DFAC individuals for bachelors, bachelorets and bachelorettes alike, so I’m aware I’m nowhere near an outlier. It’s just interesting to actually see this principle in action.
Of the DMACs, ten are cis males; of the DFACs, twenty-one are cis females. This thirty-one cis Sims total accounts for 51.7% of my received contestants, or a 48.33% trans percentage. My sent/prepared contestants currently have a 66.7% trans percentage.
The first non-cis Sim I was ever given for MM/BC purposes was Charlie Fuentes of Chambers, breaking an eighteen-cis-Sim streak. Out of the remaining forty, I’ve only gotten thirteen cis Sims since then. Keep it up, community!
Incidentally, the first nonbinary Sim I received was Lidon Butler of Limerence.
There are two explicit uncertainties as to whether a Sim is cis or not: Emily Trophy of SoS, who is tentatively female until told otherwise, and Hotaru, who I HC is exploring this aspect.
I didn’t get into the practice of asking for the sexualities of my contestants until Limerence MMBC. Even then: I don’t recall many from that project, let alone from the two that came before it; since Vidcund doesn’t do trait establishment posts, it didn’t make sense for me to do this with Mimikyu and thus misalign our systems; and I haven’t had the chance to do so for UTAU contestants yet (though some have been given voluntarily). So the most common sexuality in my table is “[bacheloret], not otherwise specified”. ^^;
The only Sim thus far to have joined the LGBTQ community they were not previously a part of post-project is Emily Gnubb of Chambers; having entered as a cis female for a cis male, she later started dating Alex Cian, a trans woman, in Valhalla.
Taking sexuality, gender, and the gender of the bacheloret the contestant went in for into account, forty-eight of the sixty Sims are explicitly confirmed to be LGTBQ; again, Reef is presumed to be due to Amelia’s identity. (By logical extension, no contestant for any project from Limerence on upwards is cishet! Yay!)
Counting him, that makes for 81.7% - only about 9% lower than the maximum 90.1% among my own creations... On the other hand, though, their lowest of 80% is higher than my lowest of 71.6%. So make of that what you will.
I have never killed a Sim specifically for being on the spectrum. Nor am I ever going to let that go, Internet.
Nineteen of the sixty contestants I’ve gotten are explicitly disabled - fourteen of which are tied to SoS. The four that are not tied to SoS are: Lidon, possessing BPD and possible dyscalculia; Hotaru, who has PTSD stemming from the death of her parents; Echo Birch of UTAU, whose loss or impairment of magical power is considered a disability in fairy circles within the context of my canon; and Puck Keaton of UTAU, who demonstrates suicidal and self-destructive tendencies due to chronic derealization, whether factual or psychosomatic.
There are a few more that may or may not be coded to be disabled, but for a vast majority of those (Fabala Thropp, Alexis Grovesnor, arguably Laurel Forest, etc.) I have no way of chasing up if the implications were meant to lead to results. So only three have gotten through to the Hidden category on the grounds of their being the most explicit through various means - Rose Quartz Ostkaka of Limerence through extended interaction, Harukaze Mukku of UTAU through knowledge of her backstory, and Poppy Afton of UTAU through knowing how its creator works.
Technically Dottie Cleveland Creighton of UTAU straddles this, since it’s hard for anyone to tell what is disability and what is personality, but it crosses the line to ‘Mental’ because I’ve had this confirmed by Vid directly.
I would also like to note that, technically, all of the dead MMBC victims I’ve killed over the years ought to possess PTSD from their experiences. However, since it’s always been unclear as to whether that has actually manifested as a genuine thing - Post-Dying Stress Disorder, perhaps? - I choose to calculate disability ratios irrespective of that.
Ergo, we have a total of 36.7% disabled Received, compared to a 61.7% disabled Given (keeping in mind I don’t know the mental faculties of Avdotya, Osano, or strictly even Doireann yet - I have Doireann under “Amnesia of varying degrees”, but it’s hard to say for sure given Doireann is so - well - cryptic). If I have the opportunity to do so in the future, I would like to significantly raise this ratio, though I have no idea how to do so without making a disability be an absolute requirement... we’ll see.
There are fifteen CAS-intended supernaturals out of sixty: five witches, three fairies, two Genies, two vampires, a ghost who died prior to production, a werewolf, and an imaginary friend. Three of those occults overlap with the Death-induced Ghost category (two witches and a fairy), which consists of twenty-three more individuals besides that - discounting Laurel, as even though ze is dead, ze is not yet a ghost.
Much like Midnight, Xyq and SLIP, I count Marlene Ramano of Ewart as a Story Supernatural. Although not programmed with any particular status, I attempted to write her as having a great psychic potential hitherto unseen in any mortal Sim... though since she was voted off after the first challenge, I never had a chance to take this anywhere. Oh well.
As stated above, Echo is also a Story Supernatural, though this time it’s through word of creator rather than word of me.
If we include Death-induced ghosts, the Sims you’ve all made have a much higher occult percentage than mine! 66.7% of those received compared to 38.3% of those sent out. But taking out Sims who became ghosts after the fact, the difference is still there but not nearly as great, becoming 28.3% to 24.7%.
I’ve received twenty-four Vanilla sims, five van/ban cusps (Ellis Sterling of Ewart, June Dandelion of Chambers due to dyed hair, Harukichi Ariados of Mimikyu, Echo, and Puck due to yellow eyes), ten Banilla, one ban/berry cusp (Gregory Chiltington of Chambers - for some reason my .sim file of him has him with a vanilla skin tone?), and nineteen Berry. This is almost proportionally identical to my own Vanilla-Banilla-Berry ratio.
I’ve gotten more Sims beginning with C than I’ve dished out: your ten to my nine! But I’ve sent out more S’s and A’s than you, having only gotten three of each and sent eleven and ten respectively. I haven’t gotten any Bs, Is, Qs, Us, or Xs onwards; then again, I still haven’t prepared any Gs, so Ginerva Ebonywood of SoS and Gregory have that going for them. I only have one D, O, V and W.
Also, we now have more MMBC ‘Poppy’s than anyone else except Katherines - Afton, Blaze, Citrus, and Reaves. What is it with the name Poppy that makes someone ripe for death?
Warning: I no longer possess the .sim file for Marlene, and I have no way of getting it back. Ergo, for the Trait section of this analysis, I am working with one Sim less than I should. Also, two of the new Sims, The Distortionist and Avdotya, don’t have set traits yet, plus Seth is still one short. This shouldn’t skew my numbers too much, but again, if there’s errors, I apologize.
With that said, of the ninety-seven in-game traits that I consistently allow people to use (discounting Unconventional and Panicky), you guys have successfully used eighty-eight of them.
You’ve used twenty-five traits once, eleven twice, sixteen thrice, thirteen four times, eleven five times, one six times, six seven times, three eight times, one ten times, and one - you ready? - eleven times!! Jesus H Christ.
The eleven-use trait is Brave of all things; used five times in Chambers, three times in Limerence, once in SoS and twice in Mimikyu. In comparison, I’ve only used it three times, for Fatin, Percy, and Blackcurrant.
The next most-used traits are Hopeless Romantic at ten (eight for me), and Friendly, Flirty and Hot-Headed at eight (seven, seven and eight for me respectively). Your seven-time users are Ambitious (three), Athletic (four), Brooding (six), Excitable (four), Night Owl (four), and Rebellious (five).
However, this principle also works in reverse. I’ve used Coward eight times, where you’ve only used it thrice for Reef, Lavandar Ink of SoS and Harukaze; and you’ve only used Snob once to my also-eight, for Lidon. (Yes, I’ve used four traits eight times. One more and I’ll have a Sim in and of itself XD) Also, do you know that until today with Aina, I’ve NEVER received a Proper Sim before?! ...I haven’t received a Mooch or Workaholic or Savvy Sculptor either, to be fair, but Proper especially stood out to me with its until-now-lack-of-use because it was my most used trait for a while.
The single-use traits Hydrophobic, Social Butterfly, Technophobe, and all three uses of Supernatural Fan are exclusive to the six known Ewart contestants. Great Kisser, Sailor, Slob, Supernatural Skeptic, and both uses of Angler, Evil, and Unflirty are confined to Chambers. Avant Garde, Disciplined, Dislikes Children, Gatherer, Lucky, and Snob are exclusive to Limerence; Born Seller, Bot Fan, Couch Potato, Loser, Photographer’s Eye, Unlucky, and Vehicle Enthusiast are exclusive to SoS. Only Dog Person is confined to my side of Mimikyu, and so far, Diva, Inappropriate, Natural Born Performer, and of course Proper are confined to UTAU.
I will try to be better.

I feel that the relationships between all the Quinx members are those of strong friendship & familial bonds. But I think there must be something wrong with me since I'm the ONLY one who feels this way lol. I just think losing Shirazu made them treasure one another ALOT. And I don't feel that Urie has a crush on Mutsuki or that Saiko has a crush on Urie, or Mutsuki on Kaneki etc...wanting to save/ have someone back doesn't equate to romantic feelings to me?
Tumblr media
Hello Anon! Well, first of all, it’s not because you happen to think differently from the majority that you should feel out of place, especially if your point of view is not a completely negative one and also especially since you agree that they all care a lot about each other in the first place. :)
Anyway, maybe the “issue” here (if you don’t mind me calling me that, but it’s more of a divergence in opinions really) is that you can’t see any hints of a possible romantic love because these relationships aren’t yet as fleshed out as they could be, or aren’t as healthy as romantic love is ideally presented to be in fiction most of the time:
take Mutsuki and Kaneki for example
Mutsuki’s dangerous jealousy towards Touka
Mutsuki claiming their love for Sasaki back in ch114
Mutsuki then engaging in what looked like intercourse with Uta’s clone of Sasaki)
these are all reasons to think that Mutsuki sees themselves as “in love” with Haise. It’s subjective and you might not think that it is love considering how unhealthy it is (because of Mutsuki’s issues and way to… act on their feelings), but from Mutsuki’s point of view they are in love with Sasaki and that’s what has been conveyed for a while now (from the very first :Re chapters actually, even if it got emphasized on mainly in the last arc).
Tumblr media
now take Mutsuki and Urie
their relationship has kept on developing ever since the auction arc
a good part of Urie’s character arc is all about finding someone to belong with
a good part of Mutsuki’s character arc is to understand that love has nothing to do with what Torso and their father did to them
Urie never used the words “love” or “romance” (or any words really) to describe his feelings but still, be it in the omakes or in the chapters we saw so far, his behavior and fondness towards Mutsuki is different from how he acts towards Saiko or any of the Qs (even if he cares about them a lot as well)
even in the latest chapters, Mutsuki was able to be honest with Urie (to the point yelling and admitting their love for Haise) which is something that they avoided at all costs to do with Saiko or that we never saw them do with Aura or anyone else
now though, Mutsuki’s issues and Urie’s uncertainty are making it hard to see exactly whether or not this currently awkward relationship will keep on developing in a positive way (towards a more defined romantic love maybe), which could be why you’re having a hard time seeing it as possible romantic love whereas other readers think the feelings are there.
Tumblr media
See Anon the thing is, reading and understanding/interpreting a story is all subjective: that’s why there are always many different theories, many different ships for one character even, so I’m even not going to try and convince you if you say that you never saw hints of a possible romance between any of the Qs. :)
To give you another example, I think it was when we were in the middle of the arc about the raid on the CCG lab (the last arc, so to speak) that I received an ask from an Anon that was asking me about “hints” showing that Kaneki and Touka possibly had something romantic going on ever since TG, because they had never seen it while reading the manga. Again, it’s all related to how readers interpret a story so it’s not particularly about being “right or wrong”, but when you see where we are now with Kaneki and Touka in the story, I think this is supposed to show two important things:
Even though a lot of readers always considered that we had hints about possible romance between Kaneki and Touka for a long time, some other readers also never interpreted it that way because interpretation is subjective and thus can be correct or not, depending on the author’s narrative choices.
Even though something did happen between them, Kaneki and Touka’s relationship is far from being the ideal love that’s often depicted in fiction (especially between main characters)
because they still need to act on this relationship and grow both in and outside of it to develop some more (otherwise they’re bound to make the same mistakes that they already talked about in ch122)
because Ishida writes his characters realistically and love/romance IRL is… far from being simple, idealistic and 100% perfectly fleshed out and making sense for all the people involved.
Tumblr media
TL;DR maybe you not seeing any possible romance for now might be due to having precise ideas/expectations about how “love” is supposed to be clearly depicted in fiction, as in, so that not a single doubt will remain about the characters’ feelings (since for now you said that you could interpret it in different ways). However, that has never been Ishida’s game when it comes to how he writes his characters and their dynamics with one another, and that’s true for any canon romance in TG so far, amongst other things.
So, again, there is absolutely no problem with you not seeing any hints for a possible romance between two or three of the Qs, you’re free to have your own opinions since you have your own way of interpreting TG and it’s all fine (as long as you don’t go and ignore canon if it doesn’t turn out to be “what you wanted” afterwards). xD
I have no idea if this helps, but please don’t ever assume that you’re out of place for thinking differently from the majority, especially when anything has yet to particularly happen between any of the Qs (a few years ago I was also “out of place” for thinking that romance was possible between Seidou and Akira, just saying, so feeling out of place simply because you have unpopular opinions really shouldn’t be a thing. If you’re right, you’re right and if you’re wrong, well, then it’s an opportunity to change your understanding of the series and that’s always interesting). :3
I don’t know if it helps :/ Sorry for the long ramble in any case, and thanks for passing by!
