Light Emitting Diode (LED) displays still hold a market share even though OLED displays are growing as the trend.
Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED)

How Display technology Works?

In this process, GPU must perform intensive computational functions to ensure that the display receives the exact representation of the screen image. The image is then rendered by the display from a sequence of bits that describe the color values of X and Y coordinates starting from a location on the screen.
At present image information can be sent to a computer display as a digital signal. The graphics card that supports analog connectivity must convert the digital display signals to analog data so that the image is rendered in the display. An integrated display helps to establish connectivity through the computer's architecture.
