🧠 for one member each of the original five combiner teams? Could even be their combiners!
oh hell yeah! first one is more g1 'toon-based/compliant, but the rest are more for my custom continuity, spectrum.
let's see. . .
superion is the oldest of the three autobot combiners, and the most combat orientated. as such, he's protective of both defensor and computron (especially computron, the youngest of the three!). also was the one to teach both of them combat - gunmanship, hand to hand, etc. ironhide helped a lot, but superion did the hands on stuff since he's their size lol
onslaught is the middle "kid" of the combaticons (age order goes brawl > swindle > onslaught > vortex > blast off). he was cold constructed as part of an artillery/AA unit in the midst of the war of the threefold spark, and the only survivor of said unit. brawl (for whom this is his second war) found this week-old-tops truck alone on the battlefield, went "is anybody gonna look after him?" and didn't wait for an answer. onslaught is a pretty reserved guy emotionally, so while it doesn't seem like it, he's very thankful for brawl finding him and then later encouraging him to apply for officer training all those years ago.
hrm. who next.
for hot spot, i genuinely can't decide whether he'd sleep like a log or toss and turn like crazy. both are funny. regardless, he's so full of energy all the time that the only times he's tired are when he's seriously sick or extremely worn out by something.
constructicons are a forged gestalt - which means they were born together with the bond - and were given to a close knit construction crew for mentorship/guardianship. mixmaster trained as a chemist under quickmix, and though he learned a lot, the two of them didn't really get along at all - quickmix didn't tolerate mixmaster's stutter, which in turn made it worse in his presence. mixmaster treasured each and every one of the rare compliments that quickmix would give him.
of all of the stunticons, breakdown and dead end get along the best. while the others will encourage breakdown's paranoia, dead end doesn't and will calmly disprove whatever breakdown's mind has cooked up. breakdown trusts dead end and considers him the closest he has to a friend in the decepticons as a whole. (stunticons, in my continuity, were a very dysfunctional unit before the enigma was used on them and they were all suddenly stuck together with the bond. breakdown would like to be anywhere else than with them, thank you very much)
thank you for asking!!

Transformers Multiversity!
Generation One - Autobot Quickmix - Subgroup: Targetmaster -Quickmix is an impatient, short-tempered inventor. He always in a hurry, constantly devising new formulas and developing new ways to defeat the Decepticons. He can be somewhat absent-minded, too busy starting new projects to see his old experiments through to the end. He’s teamed with the mercurial Nebulan, Ricochet, who transforms into a sub-machine gun and the bombastic Boomer, who turns into a sonic pulse cannon.

wada sez: Most of the comments on this strip served to point out that the writer really meant the word “Discreet”, not “Discrete”. Presumably this was because the actual plot and content of this strip is basically impossible to follow. See below for some clean panels and a character model for Quickmix.

On the topic of EarthSpark factions, let’s also consider the Autobots.
Hasbro, understandably, wants to mostly use characters who sell so Optimus, Arcee, Bumblebee & Grimlock tend to be the Autobots primarily used the most in things. Lately Wheeljack and Elita-1 have become more common fixtures, and while it’s preferable to have Elita get a chance in the spotlight again over the somewhat forced Windblade and Pyra Magna back in the IDW days, it’s still a big symptom of modern storytelling. The insistence to use the same five or so Autobots over and over again is proving to be stale. It wasn’t THAT long ago we had a more varied cast but there’s only so much you can do with the same five guys and gals over and over again without completely rewriting them (Arcee being a particular stand out due to Prime and IDW).
Like the Decepticons, it feels like the Autobot cast in EarthSpark is miscast.
For instance, if GHOST is meant to be part of human relations anyway, shouldn’t some of the Autobots be public service vehicles? This show is Rescue Bots for Teens, own up to it, man!
Like where’s Inferno & Red Alert?

While never really depicted as a gay couple before, if you want an organic relationship, these two are it. It wouldn’t take much to pivot these two into being husbands. Plus, Red Alert’s paranoia could easily (and rightfully in some cases) played off against Megatron and other GHOST aligned Decepticons.
Human/TF romance is also something that could be played up with Powerglide and Sea Spray.

Powerglide for the aerial recon and support (it’s not like they do anything with Wheeljack’s drones in show anyway) with Astoria being his semi eccentric co-pilot and one of the rich sponsors that helps fund GHOST.
Alanna and Sea Spray I had it were part of GHOST, who research aquatic areas of interest related to the Decepticons.
Tow-Line! A personal fav of the RiD01 Autobots. Still following his No Parking! mantra, he’s mostly comic relief towing away Decepticons, Terrans and fellow GHOST operatives who park irregularly.

Quickshadow! Pretty much a straight transplant of her Rescue Bots self, and the straight woman to a lot of the antics of the Terrans and her teammates. Notably she’s the only Rescue Bots Autobot to make the leap to the big kids table in this scenario.

Smokescreen! I see him as a hybrid of his Prime and G1 self. Young and impulsive, but having a bit of a smoking problem which is useful for confusing Decepticons. Hes largely kept in check by Quickshadow and his human partner Jack Darby.

Strongarm! Transplant of her RiD15 self, slightly less rigid but no less by the books. She’s in on the Terrans, and drops by the Maltos to teach them what she knows of what it means to be an upstanding Robot in Disguise. The bit with her and the Terrans is a toned down version of IDW Tailgate being taught by the fastidious IDW Ultra Magnus about the Autobot code.

(Frankly I’m terrified Prowl’s upcoming role as of typing will make him an ACAB type due to IDW and current events, so Strongarm is my choice of having a competent cop that’s doing what’s she’s supposed to be doing.)
And to round us out: Grapple. The artsy fartsy type of the GHOST Autobots who leads reconstruction efforts with a squad of other construction themed Transformers like Bulkhead, Quickmix & the Constructicons. Very detail oriented and a perfectionist, buildings MUST be up to his standards to the letter. Grapple, Jawbreaker & Thrash tend to be played off in work/play scenarios where they learn from each other.

I do understand that the Terrans are meant o be the standouts and the Decepticons, due to favoritism, are getting the oddballs, but it bothers me that the GHOST aligned Autobots especially feels like an afterthought (because in a fashion they kinda were…).

The Council of Worlds

[ Image from The Transformers: Till All Are One #2, "Applicable Skills" ]
The Council of Worlds is made up of representatives of Cybertron and its 13 “sister worlds”. Each world retains its own government, but decisions that affect interplanetary affairs are negotiated among the Council.
As it currently stands, the worlds, their leader(s) (or the closest approximation), and their representatives are listed below. We've also included each world's "Patron Prime" -- the extent to which each group claims a connection to their Prime varies, but regardless we've included them here for ease.
CYBERTRON - Leader: Starscream - Representatives: Bumblebee & Metalhawk - Patron Prime: ??? - Titan: Metroplex (represented by Windblade)
ELONIA - Leader: Dai Atlas - Representatives: Dai Atlas & Star Saber - Patron Prime: Prima - Titan: Metrotitan

Headcanon #9
Fandom: Transformers Cybertron (Unicron Trilogy).
Character: Metroplex.
Disclaimer: This is an RP-based headcanon and is not canon to the series.

This funny little headcanon came along in an RP with my good friend @mecharobotsaddict
There's a reason that Metroplex has an axe for a weapon.
He's atrocious at shooting.
When it comes to doing his job, he's good at what he does and is very precise, heck he needs to be when it comes to building or one miscalculation could spell disaster.
But, that skill doesn't carry over to firing a weapon, he tried once, and he had ended up hitting a building rather than the target itself.
Quickmix has never let him live it down.
But luckily, he is precise with his axe, he's happy with it, alls well that ends well.

Transformers: Mosaic #438 - "Dirty and Down"

wada sez: Landfill is one of Budiansky’s stinky blorbos, a “veritable rolling garbage dump” with an “awful smell” who "leaves a trail of rotting refuse wherever he goes” and is “caked in muck and filth”—and “emits such a powerful odor that even the dumbest Decepticon tracker would have no difficulty finding him.” Fisher has settled on the exact opposite idea here, with Landfill’s fetid squalor being the only thing stopping the Decepticons from finding them.

For @ambulance-mom after liking the starter call
----------------------------------------------
On the planet Gigantian, Metroplex was overseeing one of the newer sites he and the lads were working on, it was an endless task building these cities, because as soon as they would finish it, they would abandon it and start building a new one, as per tradition on their planet after their checkered past with Planet X, all was going as scheduled until he heard something and looked up from his holographic screen on his forearm, he couldn't see anything initially until he saw a ship land in the distance, it looked like a medical ship but he couldn't really tell, but that didn't really matter, it was rare they had strangers on their planet, it wasn't that they were hostile to outsiders, they were just wary of newcomers in case they came from the long destroyed Planet X, he had a mind to go and investigate, so he turned to his second-in-command, Quickmix "Lad, keep watch on things here, I need to go see something" he said before he transformed into his alt mode and left the site, heading for the ship.

Cybertron Defense Team - Scattorshot and Red Alert

Sometimes, what you need to save the day is a lot of firepower.
Within the Aurex (Unicron Trilogy) continuity, the Cybertron Defense Team was formed from three injured Autobots. After Megatron used his cyber planet key to activate a new chaingun weapon, he used Hotshot, Scattorshot, and Red Alert to vent is frustrations and test the weapon. The three were made into mechanical mincemeat and promptly evacuated. The humans did their best to repair the fallen warriors, but even the stoic medic Red Alert was ready to call it. The human children they were trying to save the worlds with had the bots focus their thoughts on their friends, then their distant home Cybertron. They had one wish: that they had the power to protect their home. Primus heard their prayer, and reached His hand - the bots were miraculously repaired and upgraded into more weaponized forms.

Scattorshot transformers into some sort of surface-to-air rocket launching truck. Red Alert is a cross of an armored personnel carrier and an intercontinental ballistic missile launch truck. Using a cyber planet key unlocks additional weaponry, because they didn't have enough to begin with.

In my continuity (draft)
I'm thinking they could be Gigantion Autobots. They're the same size (and a class bigger for RA) as my one actual Gigantion transformer, Quickmix.
Sometime near the end of the first war, the space bridge system was reactivated, allowing access to once-lost colonies.
