gabe doesn't realize it's flirting he thinks jack is just trying to show off

gabe, as per usual, is a theater major (though he tends to work more on set design/costumes/directing than actually acting). he and jack meet in some required class, like a math class or something, because they happen to sit next to each other

jack is struggling. he is Not good at this subject. they get tests back and jack's grade is bad. he accidentally sees the score on gabe's paper and it's like 99%.

holy shit the hot guy sitting next to him is smart

he kinda flashes his own test score at gabe with a weak smile and is like "hey, ha, guess i should've spent less time playing football and more time studying."

gabe just kinda glances at him and goes back to his own thing with a dismissive "mm."

jack's expression wilts a little bit but he brightens up and asks, "so uh, any tips? how'd you get to be so good at this?"

"by not talking during class," gabe says shortly.

Gabe reminds him that there's a tutoring center on campus Jack could use, and eyes him suspiciously. He could definitely use a bit of spare cash, but he doesn't know why this guy is offering in the first place. Jack upps the offer: cash, plus dinner every night Gabe can tutor him. Deal.

Elated by this success, Jack doesn't think at first about how quick he's going to blow through his spare cash doing this. He actually ends up getting apart time job in order to pay Gabe's tutoring fees, which isn't a problem...right up until Gabe starts to warm up to him and wants to hang out, but Jack has to work. =(

He and Jack only ever studied at the library, so he doesn't know where Jack lives, and Jack isn't answering his phone. Confronts him after class next time when Jack's there, and asks him what's going on. When he mentions that he tried to find Jack at work, Jack just waves it off and admits he only got the job to pay Gabe, and since he's a lost cause he figured why bother? He neglects to mention that he's been trying to study on his own with his schedule freed up again.

Continuation of the Leyendecker R76 AU I started sometime ago. I love this AU a lot and been getting quite some plot bunnies for it recently + I also really need to level up on my gestures + emotions skills. ( I still think my stuff are really stiff, trying to break out of that. ) So am taking this AU’s chance to expand and see where this would bring me to.  I would be drawing in scenes but they wouldn’t necessarily be in chronological time order. I would try not to jump around too much but heh we’ll see. UwU   First image post is based off Secret Love Song by Little Mix. The Good: Battle couple who has known each other pretty much their entire adult lives and had each other’s back the whole time. I genuinely do think there is a chance, be it slim or not, that they might end up canon at least pre-fall. It makes sense, they work together. There’s so much potential between them and they’re both honestly such good foils for each other. I love everything about the basis we’ve been given; from the fact 76 is clearly following in Gabriel’s first footsteps in Retribution to the fact we’ve had them confirmed to have literally been so fond of each other the word LOVE was the only one that fit. They’re two sides of the same coin and I will argue all day about how they’re one of the only ships between heroes that just makes sense.The Bad: I genuinely don’t know if Blizzard will ever just Say It. If they are supposed to be canon I feel like they’re gonna dance around it for at least another year to keep people on the hook and if they’re not I don’t think they’re ever going to tell us because they don’t want to lose that level of mystique they’re playing off of. I also, as much as I love the idea of it, don’t really know if they’ll ever really be on good terms again post-fall. I worry that they’re doomed to the roles they’ve been assigned and we’ll never get to see Soldier:76 and Reaper reunite on even a friendship basis. I’d love to be proven wrong but I truly just don’t know. I also feel like, honestly, Blizzard is spending too much time stretching it out. I want to move forward with lore, not get bits and pieces over a span of YEARS just learning the backstory of our plot. It’s really frustrating and really takes the wind out of the sails.The Ugly: The fandom has SO MANY issues I can’t even BEGIN to gloss over them here. I’m really glad I ended up finding the people I did not long after engaging with the ship because otherwise I honestly would have backed out ages ago simply due to the fact so many of the fans are just AWFUL. No one knows how to just BE NORMAL and honestly a majority of the fandom doesn’t even deserve their ship being confirmed canon. Every day it gets a little harder to deal with the utter shit that piles up even with all the rare and wonderful gems you can find. R76 really and truly deserves a better fandom than it has. It’s so good and somehow ends up with so much bad in it. :(The Love: This ship has enabled me to meet so many awesome people and writing for it has helped me grow so much as a writer and I’m forever grateful to it for just being GOOD. Also Gabe is pretty and I want him to hug my depression out of me please.

Personal and Fic Updates

Hey everyone!

I know it’s been a long time since I’ve done one of these personal update messages.  I’m trying to get my stuff in order but life continues to outpace me, it seems.

The quick and dirty: Fic Stuff:

Moira has been integrated into the overarching plot of “And Overwatch For All”

Because of this, I am currently rewriting major portions of Old Habits.  Yesterday, I finished a major rewrite of chapter 10 (the “evil council is introduce” chapter).  I have the majority of chapter 11′s rewrite done and hope to finish that today as well.  With luck, I will start working on a rewrite of Chapter 13.

Shockingly, I’m keeping a lot of the “present day” plot elements the same (aka, all the stuff leading up to Recall).  But several major “past events” have changed, including Reaper/Gabriel’s backstory.

More on this later.  I will also be writing a separate post JUST for fic stuff, if you prefer to read only that.

Personal Stuff:

Extra expenses have started showing up in my life.  Details are under the cut.

My job has not yet promoted me and a coworker the way they said they would in the timeframe they gave us (1 year).  Because of this, I am starting the job hunt again.

Alright, so here’s the longer version of what my last like...three months have been like, with both personal/work stuff and fandom stuff.

Personal life/Work:

I have said this in a few places, but I currently work as an entry-level archaeologist for a state department in California.  Full disclosure: I and my fellow coworker are underpaid for our work, which is as variable as conducting documentation research through databases and organizing research on behalf of our higher-level archaeologist and historian supervisors to performing surveys and actual fieldwork digs in every type of weathers in California.  As an example, two weeks ago (the week of Thanksgiving here in the U.S.), myself and one of my supervisors did an 8 hour fieldwork day which consisted of 3-4 hours of surveying through waist-high grass in pouring rain at 55 degrees F/12 degrees C.  This upcoming week, I and (other underpaid) coworker will be doing two 12-hour days of construction monitoring.  Our work consists of traveling all over the state, with driving that can take a full day to get to a work destination (these are charged to work, don’t worry - I don’t have to pay for that, thank god).

The reason I’m explaining this is because this is a huge reason why some days (or even some weeks) my activity on tumblr, twitter, and AO3 will take a straight nosedive.  On Thursday of this past week, I spent 8-10 hours without checking my phone and came home to 4 missed calls, 8 “active chats” on messenger, 600 messages on discord, and basically a whole day of “social media-ing” missed out.  

If you’re rolling your eyes over this, I get it, I really do - it sounds like all the stuff that older people complain millennials “overvalue,” but (for example) one of those phone calls was from my dentist’s office saying that they will not serve me because (after three months of them NOT checking) they realized that I don’t have the right dental insurance for them.

Fun.

I don’t make enough money to switch to higher, “better services” health and dental insurance, but since I work a job that requires physical labor, I’m scared to cut them from my life.  Said coworker twisted his ankle earlier this year, and work only compensated him for 1 week of “missed” work, when in reality he was walking with a slight limp for 2-3 weeks.  Because of our low-level, we are not given access to benefits that many other state workers get.

Moreover, our sub-department has been promising that the two of us would get promoted “within the year.”  We reached a year working with them in mid-November, and that promise still hasn’t been reached.

So in terms of my personal life, I’m at a cross-roads: I will tell them that they need to promote us, even to the next “low-level position” because that will give us just a few more $/hour which will help A LOT when accumulated, or I’m going to tell them that I’ll have to search for something else.

On top of this, my parents have decided it’s time for me to “pay rent” to live at home with them - a discussion we, frankly, haven’t had on a serious level yet and one which blindsided me this morning.  I am looking into my options but without a better job, they’re not good.

This also doesn’t cover whatever it will take to help me start the legal and medical processes of transitioning, which are, frankly, the main things I’ve been saving money for.

What does this mean:

I’m looking for places to cut costs, but the combination of current expenses + what my parents want from me will take 1/3 to 1/2 of my current monthly paycheck.  I already spend next to nothing on personal stuff, so all my current expenses are “necessities” such as food, gas, and insurance.  I’m looking to cut down on gas costs but it may be awhile before my daily schedule gets adjusted.

The alternate is taking a second job that will permit me to only work my free three days a week.

Doing this means I will have zero time to write or produce content.

For now, I’m not jumping out to do that.  I’ve made a Ko-Fi account (https://ko-fi.com/U7U063ZJ) that I would greatly appreciate any spare money you’re willing to contribute.  Something as simple as a few dollars can go to me covering the cost of my health insurance per month, while I figure out the bigger problems of searching for a job.

The reason why I started with this is because:

Fic Stuff/Writing Stuff:

I do the equivalent of 3-4 full days of “writing” for fandom stuff per week: on my days off, I can write anywhere from 8 to 14 hours a day.  Using just Friday and yesterday as an example, I wrote 9k words, and with whatever I do today, I will likely push that to about 11-12k.

Yes, it is all voluntary, and I do not have to write at the pace that I do, nor the amount that I do.  I do it because I enjoy it, and because, honestly, writing for Overwatch has given me some of the biggest joys and happiness I have felt in like, a decade.  And that includes writing the long essays.  My last big R76 post (http://segadores-y-soldados.tumblr.com/post/167321630835/everything-you-want-to-know-about-reaper-and) spans a whopping 67 pages and 7.5k words in Google Docs (that includes pictures and sources/credits/links/references).

Again, this isn’t to brag, but just to put my writing into perspective, I guess.  This is the equivalent of doing a second part-time job, which was something I attempted last year but was unable to balance my current archaeology job + a part-time retail job + writing.  I dropped the second one because, at the time, I finally had the luxury to choose a job in my profession and writing on the side.  This is a luxury I was fortunate to enjoy for the first half of 2017, but it is steadily becoming undoable as my work increases my responsibilities without increasing my pay.

Fic Updates:

For those of your who have been waiting patiently for information on “And Overwatch for All” I do have some good news that I’m finally ready to share:

Moira has been integrated into the plot.

I got a number of comments here and on twitter that were really supportive of my current version of “AOFA” and I just want to say, thank you all so much.  It means a lot to me that you guys have liked the version of Overwatch I’ve built up and that you found all the characters, including my silly OCs, to be engaging and well-written.  It was soul-crushing to think I would have to lose some of them, but after some time and doing more research on Moira, I feel ready to talk more about her and how she’s going to factor into the updated plot.

To start off with:

None of the OCs will be cut, but some of their roles will change.

Lmao, this surprised me as well, but I’ve figured out a few different ways to make all of the OCs, especially the very obviously contrived “Death Agents,” stick around in the updated plot.

Only one OC (and you can probably guess who, if you’ve started “New Wars”) will change names: the character called “Reaper” in “New Wars Chapter 1″ (the “young Hanzo chapter”) will be called “Reaver.”  This is due to his updated role in the plot.  His background has changed only slightly.

If it wasn’t apparent, this “Reaper” was meant to act as a plot device to cause confusion over Gabriel/Reaper’s actions after the fall of Overwatch, but that has changed because:

I’m switching to Crisis-era and “undercover mercenary” Reaper.

If you’ve read some of my more recent posts on Moira, you’ll know that I’ve switched over to supporting the idea that “something went wrong with Gabriel Reyes during SEP/the Crisis.”  This is due to the fact that you can find a folder labeled “Soldier ID: 24″ in Moira’s Oasis lab, that Michael Chu said that Reyes was interested in getting her help on “matters of genetics,” and that this appears to mesh the “Reaper has existed for decades” concept in Reaper’s hero profile.

Truth be told, I’ve actually been a supporter of this idea of “Gabriel has been Reaper behind the scenes for decades” plot point for a long, long time, almost as long as I’ve been posting Old Habits.  “Reaper”/“Reaver” was semi-messy OC that attempted to bridge Reaper’s original hero profile with the “Old Soldiers” explanation that Gabriel/Reaper gave that “Jack and Overwatch ‘left [him] to suffer.’”  However, I also knew when writing Old Habits that the “Mercy is evil” theory was ALSO not true, so I was kinda stuck:

“If Gabriel = Reaper for decades, why did he appear to blame Jack and Overwatch for his current condition?”

My original solution was to make “Reaper” a different character and have him operating the situation in the background (like a mystery story), but over time this solution got trickier and trickier to work with.  With Moira, I have a chance to rework much of Old Habits/AOFA to better suit some of the details that have come out since drafting it.

This does mean, unfortunately, that all the “76+127″ content is going to become its own, standalone series.

To switch over to integrating “Soldier: 24,” the “76+127″ stories will have to become their own standalone series.  Don’t worry - I’m not deleting anything.  Old content from “Old Habits” will be moved to their own fics, so you can read the whole thing in chronological order.

A new version of my updated ideas on SEP has already started being drafted.  Writing it out is just a matter of time at this point, haha.

The conspiracy/Talon council “mysteries” will become more transparent almost immediately.

With Moira, I finally get the chance to explore some of my ideas in “full format” instead of the kinda awkward “Sombra hacking a chat log” parts yall originally got.  This DOES mean that written portions will suddenly be much, MUCH longer.  For example:

Old Habits original chapter 10 (Sombra hacks an SSO chat log): 17 pages

Old Habits revised chapter 10 (Moira discusses the Route 66 battle with council members + Sombra hacks a chat log): closer to 34 pages

The explosion fight has been changed.

Because of the changes to Gabriel’s plot, the nature of the explosion fight between him and Jack has changed significantly.  It does incorporate new information that Moira revealed.

If it wasn’t obvious, I’ve had a draft version of my ideas for the fight sitting in GDocs for about a year now, and I use that for all my flashback/memories, and also for when Reaper and Soldier: 76 are arguing in the present.  There was a major plot point in the explosion fight that I was extremely uncomfortable with, but found it to be “solid angst material.”  In retrospect, I dislike this plot point and have removed it for another plot point that sits better with me, and fits the overall story more comfortably (I think).

So yes, I DO have a new draft of the explosion fight - written completely from scratch, 100% different in tone and emotionality.  Parts of this should begin to show in updates to Chapter 13, when Soldier: 76/Jack reflects on some of the fight.

The Goal:

The goal for AOFA right now is to update Old Habits in “two big batches” - update the first half (Chapters 1 - 15) within 1 - 2 weeks, and then update the second half (Chapters 16 - 31) shortly after.  Optimistically, before January, but realistically, closer to late-January/early-February.

Thanks for sticking with me - both with this post, and with my life changes.  Things are incredibly and often overwhelmingly busy for me, and I don’t really know where many of these things (both personal stuff and fic stuff) will end up.  I really do appreciate any and all support, even if I’m not able to respond to comments.  You guys make it worthwhile to keep writing, and I apologize for how distant I’ve been with this stuff.

Well, that fic’s kind of a year old now. It’s older than a chunk of my R76, and works off of old assumptions about the canon. So to say it’s non-canonical at this point would be an understatement.

BUT.

I still learned a lot while writing it. I still enjoyed writing it. I had a whole plot thought out for it, involving Talon hunting down its mutineers and the age-old question of “Who Killed The World?” a la Mad Max (but with Omnics). It’s kind of amazing how many of the headcanons in that fic still hold water, even if a bunch got torpedo’d by the Christmas comic and subsequent pieces of canon afterward. I mean ffs, this was before Orisa came out and just after Sombra’s release, but I was still going to have Doomfist be the penultimate villain! 

So even if it’s old and I’ve discontinued it because Tracer has a girlfriend now and deserves to be happy (seriously, i could not have predicted that curveball from Blizzard and I have zero complaints about it), just so you know, you’re not the only one who thinks fondly of that fic. I was actually able to work through a lot of my own insecurities with writing femslash because of it, even if I still don’t write nearly enough of the stuff to this day and really really need to do more of it at some point. 

…gimme a few days and i’ll see if i can’t get a rough idea of a plot for some.

Hey J, for the meme: I've been curious about your outlining process for a while. Do you just throw ideas on a doc or make a list? How do you start piecing your story together? And when it comes to characterization and r76, what are your key elements?

ohhhh damn Kasi this is a really good question, hmmmm....

okay, so for outlining it tends to go two ways for me:

1. I make myself an actual outline. I have a vague idea of how I want the story to go, and so I start fleshing out ideas for scenes, progression of plot, maybe even some bits and pieces of dialogue or scene-building that I really like. These outlines tend to be much more detailed and also tend to be much more rare than my other outline process, which is...

2. I just open up a google doc and start yelling at myself, basically. It’s a lot like thinking out loud, except on paper lol. I just start writing things down that are either tangentially or directly related to what I’m hoping to write, and eventually I’ll hit on something that I think has a lot of promise. Sometimes that happens right away, sometimes I think of a few things and throw them out because they don’t work. For example, for my RBB, I started by describing @shanablackrx ‘s art to myself in my own words, because that would give me an idea of where I was in my own head with how I wanted the story to go. I then started trying to think of ways of how to tie the story motif (music) in with the other emotions the art was conjuring--melancholy, bittersweet memories, nostalgia, etc. And then I thought, oh, why not have it relate to a song in some way? So I actually ended up googling “piano and guitar duet songs” and “The Boxer” came up as a possibility, and I realized that it kind of fit perfectly with the mood of the story I wanted to write. And once I did that, the story itself kind of fell into place. My outlining process from there was very much like “okay, so I want X to happen, and in order for that to happen, then Y has to happen as well. And then Z will happen,” and so on. Not a ton of embellishment or overwriting goes into this part of the outlining, as I just want to lay out the bare bones part of the story. And then I start the fic lol.

For R76 characterization, there are a few key elements I try to focus on for each of them (and it shifts depending on if I’m writing the older or younger versions haha).

For younger Gabriel, I think I tend to write him as much more......I guess cynically optimistic? Like, he knows he’s going to reach his goals, but only because he knows that he (and the select group of people that he trusts) have the skills and abilities to make sure those goals are in fact reached. 

For older Gabriel/Reaper, I tend to write him as fully jaded, relying pretty much only on himself, but also weighed down by all of the memories and baggage that come with the life he’s lived. He’s angry, and he’s bitter, and he knows how to channel those emotions into results, but he’s also a sentimental old man at heart as well, still that cynically optimistic fool on the inside (but it’s hard to reach that part of him).

For younger Jack, I tend to write him as the biggest little shit on the planet??? I think I just saw that smugass smirk of his and I was like “oh he’s a complete asshole with a heart of gold isn’t he” hahaha. But also he’s someone who takes the power and position that he’s been granted very seriously, and he tries to make the right decisions. But even people with the best intentions fail sometimes, which is something that Jack has a very difficult time coping with.

For older Jack, he is a man who has been broken and changed by what he’s gone through, and he’s tired but he’s also angry. He wants information but he also wants revenge, and he fully expects his quest to kill him (in fact, I think he kind of wants it to kill him). He wants to divorce himself completely from who he once was, but just like Reaper, deep down inside he finds it difficult to separate himself from person he used to be. It’s why he smashes gang members’ heads into walls and then jumps in front of a grenade to save a young girl’s life.

Sombra crawled out of the bed and glared at the clock showing the unfathomable truth of the moment. Someone was calling her at twelve to ten in the morning, a truly inhumane hour, on her free day, no less!

She almost slid off the chair she toppled into, and hit the receive button, not bothering to check who that was. Which proved to be a mistake taking into the account what were the first words out of her mouth.

“Chupame la verga!”

“Really? I’d never guess, looking down there.”

While wailing internally, Sombra grabbed for Alejandrito and clutched him to her breast.

“What do you want, you old fuck? It’s a middle of the night!”

On the other side of the line there was a moment of silence that somehow spoke volumes of mischief, and, boy, did she love her some mischief.

“Do you have visual?”

“Okay, okay, I’m patching it in, what’s so impor…” She stared. And stared some more. And then, almost choked on her own tongue. Finally, wheezing, Sombra managed to squeeze out a word or two between the copious fits of laughter. “Madre de… I can’t… She really did this!”

They give Jack the warm fuzzies, but his anxiety twists things around so that he has to fight to hold on to the good feelings.

He asks what's funny, and Gabe gestures vaguely, and is like: 'this. i never expected any of this.' And even as Jack is going quiet next to him, Gabe rolls over and cups his cheek and smiles reassuringly. 'didn't expect doesn't mean regrets. i'm glad it happened, and if i had a million lifetimes, i'd marry you again in all of them.' Jack smiles for him, just a little thing, but he's better these days at trusting Gabe over things like that. He still blushes every time, though, which Gabe still finds enchanting. Jack wraps an arm around him, pulling Gabe on top of him. 'Show me how glad you are.' Gabe is more than happy to do so.

What I want in a roleplay partner

▹ I want someone who can be super creative,  And I don’t just mean in creating characters, I also mean creating plots, worlds and everything and the kitchen sink. I want to feel that I’m not the only one bringing the heat but they are too.

▹ Someone who isn’t afraid to chit chat ooc style I do find it more fun to actually have small conversations with my partner on the side. So I can know and become friends with them too. I love chit chatting and I would love to know more about the person I’m creating a world with.

▹ Is 18+  Now this has nothing to do with smut, I just find it easier for me to roleplay with people closer to my age. I get that some people who are younger than that act mature for their age, but I don’t care. Give me the age I want, please and thank you. :) (If you don’t mind smut then yesss lets do smut okay!)

▹ Makes great and complex characters, settings and plots.  As said before I want someone who can bring the heat and also isn’t shy with helping out with the plot as well. I also loveeee characters that are complex and are not your typical types of people. I like characters that do drugs, have killed someone, isn’t emotionally attached, all of the things that make Characters look shitty.

▹ Doesn’t mind Dark Themes Now if you don’t like dark themes then totes tell me cause that’s perfectly fine. I myself love violence, angst, betrayal and much much more. Since my characters are not perfect in any type of way, I love to put that within the plot as well.  

▹ Is fine with older characters I really like rping older characters and the older the better.  The youngest I will go with characters is 20. Now I will do a little bit younger, but I love older characters, characters that are ranging from 25-45 is awesome, 45-62 is SUPER GREAT I WILL LOVE YOU AND PROBS REPLY QUICKER TO YOU. If I go any younger I just don’t want to do it anymore.

▹ Your writing doesn’t have to be amazing! I’m fine with short or semi-long replies. I just don’t want one-liners, you can write up to a few sentences and such.

▹ Doesn’t mind doing several different plots  Sometimes I get bored which is fine we all do, and I like to do different plots if the other one isn’t working for us! It’s totes fine

( ✩ ✤ ) Out of Luck: Two friends embark on a new life together as they both join the same mob. Though as one of them becomes a favorite the other doesn’t take likely to this one bit. It’s a story of back stabbing and much more. (Rated E-R)

( ✩ ✤ ✦ ) Everyone Wants in: In a small country that is ruled by different supernatural gangs. There is one monster that goes by the name “The Phantom” who will bring them all down and become the ultimate. Though trying to find him will be a handful since no one knows what he looks like. It is up to an single monster to find this being and defeat him. (Rated R)

( ✩ ✕ ) The fashionista/ The Silent Nerd: Getting into a bet with a few of his friends, they decided that the most amazing male on campus must make a nerd into an amazing male as well.  Agreeing to the terms, the job seems simple yet trying to actually do it turns to be a bit more challenge than actually planed. (Inspired by My Fair Lady) (Rated PG-13 for cursing, maybe smut and craziness)

( ✩ ✕ ✤ ) Bully/Angry Nerd: He gets his ass kicked all the time, everyday by the same bully, yet one day when he decides it’s too much. He finally goes over to this bully’s house to find out a bit more than he planed. Now there’s too much on the line and he has to buddy up with the same person who always kicked his ass. Can he do it? (Can be supernatural or sci-fi) (Rated PG-13 - R for mostly anything could happen with this plot. LBH)

( ✤ ✦ ✩) The Lone Magical Boy/The Cop: Magical Boys have protected a Busy city for hundreds of years, yet as the darkness they defeated slowly disappeared so did they. Though in the near future things seemed to be turning for the worst, as the darkness decides to come back at full force making the last magical boy awaken from their slumber and defend the city once more, yet that can’t do it without the help of a single cop and his hidden powers. (Rated R for gore, cursing, fighting, ect.)

( ✤ ✦ ✩) The Drug Addict/ The Wingman: They’ve gotten themselves into a lot of trouble over the years and now it seems that all of it is finally catching up with them. It’s time to right wrongs and do the whole thing called ‘life’ over again. Though can they really fix everything or is this just another pipe dream? (Rated R for crazy and probs offensive shit)

( ✤ ✦ ✩) Lone Scientist/ Intern: Being the most smartest person in the world comes with one major thing…A sickness for it and everything that lives on it. Taking advice from a friend, a lone scientist opens his lab to those that want quick money and have a place to finish up on any work they have. Though once they come in, they will have to go on a few adventures to places they never knew existed, while being with one utter mess of a Scientist. (Inspired by Rick & Morty/ Doctor Who) (Rated R for Cursing, substance use, maybe gore, ect.)

( ✦ ✩ ✕) Captain / Co-Captain: Assembling a team filled with the best people to go out and free planets from under the rule of the Galactic Stars, a captain destined for greatness, leads a team to such planes. With the help of his best friend who is a Co-Captain on his ship everything becomes a battle for glory, pride and justice. (inspired by Star Trek) (Rated E - R)

A bit about me: I’m J, a 24 year old sometime writer. Female, living in GMT+, currently in Overwatch hell,  and I’m dying to get my RP on.  

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:

I only RP with people over 20, for both legality and ethics. I’m in my mid-20’s and like RPing with people my own age or older SO PLEASE BE OVER 20.  

So many teenagers have wonderful writing skills and I don’t want to patronise in the slightest- this isnt about looking down on your writing ability, it’s about not wanting to overstep my boundaries by RPing 18+ content with a minor, and making sure we’re both happy RP'ing with people in our own age groups.

I write in the third person. And I like decent sized replies, but I leave the quantifying of ‘decent’ up to my partner for their own replies.  As long as it’s not like, 2 words of a reply, it’s grand.

I’ll reply a few times a day most times, and would like to RP with someone  who can mostly RP at the same pace, but at least once a day.

SMUT:

Lets put it this way, in terms of smut, if it’s morally repulsive in real life, I’m not up for it. If it’s a weird kink, I might be up for it.  All romancing characters have to be over 18. Not really into stories where Rape/Abuse are used to set up a sad backstory. Or to further the plot.

I can write smut but it’s not a necessity for me, I’ll want to fade to black on occasion or forego altogether and please feel free to do the same. I’m perfectly happy writing an RP without smut if thats’ your thing.

Oh, and I LOVE to plot. Chatting OOC is fine by me too, if that’s your thing!
