The continuous importance of family to Will throughout the seasons is really interesting to me. In S1, Oeuf focuses on family, Will’s distance from the concept it, his strange form of anger towards the children who throw it all away. He relates to the concept of being an outcast, yet he doesn’t understand how they could willingly give up something as important as family. He clings to the concept of a family with Abigail born of obligation; he doesn’t understand what family means, because he doesn’t understand that Abigail is not family to him no matter how much he wants it.

Think about what the hallucination of Abigail tells Will when he wakes up from being gutted by Hannibal; he gave you a chance to take it all back, and you just kept lying. Knowing these are Will’s own thoughts, we know how devastated he is, how angry with himself he is, because just like those kids, he had a place in the world. He had a place made for him, a family with Hannibal and Abigail, and he just kept lying.

So he tries so hard to find a new family, one far more palatable to society, one he can slip into and lock himself away in. He marries Molly. He halfheartedly plays the role of stepfather for Wally. And then he goes back to the field to stop the murder of “perfect” families by a killer whose helpless reaches for family have turned him against the concept and left his resentment to fester. He visits Hannibal in prison. I gave you a child, Hannibal tells him. You’re family, Will. He can’t have a child. He can’t have Abigail. But after everything, this man still wants to make a home for him. After a life of desperately grabbing at straws for something resembling family, after he had a shot at it and threw it all away, he has one last chance.

I doubt he thought he deserved it. Maybe that contributed to his decision in the final episode. He doesn’t think he can have this one thing, the only thing he’s ever wanted, after so many mistakes and trespasses.

Makes me wonder what Will’s relationship with his father was and what happened to his mother to make him so alienated from family.

Day 5 of Ravioli Ship Week - Bunnies!! I drew my own Ravio and Link as bunnies :) I was also planning on drawing lu ravio and link but my motivation disappeared after finishing this. They are in a hat, like how a magician pulls a bunny out of a hat :)

This might be controversial, but I have never seen Twilight being Sniper's 'equivalent'. Like Engineer and Applejack, Rarity and Spy, Scout and Rainbow Dash.. it just makes sense. But Twilight and Sniper? I'm not sure.

Is it because they both like owls? Honestly I rather peg Twilight as Medic's 'equivalent', because there's a lot there. They're both really studious, high-strung, keep the friend group/team together, are scientists, ascended to godhood, preform questionable experiments in the name of science, etc. But Twilight and Sniper, aside from the birds (which Medic has one) I don't know.

Honestly Fluttershy has more in common with Sniper to me. Like they live away from everybody out in the wilderness, live off of their own food, are attuned with animals, are quiet and okay to be by themselves... that being said I really like the pics of Twilight in Sniper's outfit, it fits her a lot.

it is so hard for me to motivate myself to do anything when im tired. like at some point i will hit a level of exhaustion where everything i need to get done becomes a "tomorrow problem" and there is no reasoning with myself past that point. but the problem lately is that im fucking always tired so before i know it one day becomes two days becomes five and the next time i think about it its been so long ive basically completely missed my chance to do it at all. and this is how i end up forgetting to schedule appointments or realizing its friday and i havent done any work all week or that i was supposed to do my t shot four days ago and now its been so long that im better off just waiting until my next normal shot day. you understand.

Rainbow Dash was the absolute pride and joy of her family. Ever since a young age she had been a strong flier, her proportions made her incredibly aerodynamic, and she had perfect wing ratio. For all accounts and purposes, she was the golden example of the ideal Pegasus. In her younger years, it didn’t take her long to climb the social ladder in school. She was one of the popular kids, and she knew it well. Rainbow Dash never really cared for the hierarchy Cloudsdale pushed, though. Her parents always said “any pegasus is a perfect pegasus” and she lived by that rule. Which is why, out of all her peers who mocked and shamed the short little yellow filly with small wings, she was the one to befriend her.

Rainbow Dash came to learn this little filly, Fluttershy, was one of the kindest ponies she had ever met. Flutters, as Rainbow Dash nicknamed her, made a habit of noticing the small things- the little bugs that fluttered through the sky, the shape of clouds, birds that perched on lamp posts. She had an incredible ability to pick up on Dash’s mood too, even when she thought it wasn’t obvious. She always put others before herself, even to her own detriment, and it baffled Rainbow- it baffled her how anyone could berate and belittle someone so caring over such small things.

She quickly learnt, however, she wasn’t safe from her peers scrutiny either. Rumors began to spread that Rainbow Dash was hanging with schools resident punching bag, and Rainbow quickly understood just how cruel kids can be. Three of her best friends, Hoops, Dumb-bell, and Score approached her after school one day, and promptly told her to stay away from ‘that flightless meatbag.’ That she was a ‘loser’ and ‘lazy’ and that those bad habits would rub off on Rainbow. Dash was, understandably, shocked that these friends she’d known for years, these friends so kind and caring to her, could be so harsh and cruel. Not wanting to lose such close friends, Rainbow promised she’d stay away from Fluttershy, but in reality she merely kept their friendship hidden from the public.

As Fluttershy knows all too well however, secrets can’t be kept forever- and the rumors just got worse when people discovered Rainbow Dash was hanging out with Fluttershy in secret. They claimed Fluttershy was her “filly-friend,” that Rainbow was just as much of a loser as she was, a coward and an idiot for hanging with such a low-life. This level of venom towards her punched Dash in the gut hard. She spent most of her days during those times hiding from her peers when she could, and it gave Dash a crushing glimpse into the life Fluttershy lived almost daily.

When Rainbow Dash discovered the starter of these rumors, however, she was furious.

Her closest friend, the foal she had known since flight-school, the foal she had spent her ENTIRE LIFE with- entrusted the best. Dumb-bell. HE had started the rumors.

That day she found out, she got into a massive fight with him, and had found out who he really was. She broke her friendship with him, with all his posse, and declared then and there that YES. She was Fluttershy’s friend. She would STAY her friend even if it cost her her status and she would NEVER stoop down to his level. After that she stormed away with Fluttershy, and didn’t look back when Dumb-bell called to her.

And unfortunately, her Loyalty to her friend DID cost her her status. She became the schools second punching bag, sited as the pegasus who “had it all and gave it up for literal garbage.” Rainbow was tough however, and though it hurt hearing how much everyone suddenly hated her, it fueled her to try harder, be better, PROVE that she was still the best, whether they liked it or not. And this rage and ego fueled desire to push herself beyond every limit she had would lead to her biggest regret. (Im gonna reblog this with the rest, post is getting laggy from so much text)

ok so ever since i saw this post (specifically the last pic) i could not stop thinking about how the first glass beach album is kind of cocole coded which led to me thinking about it for like almost a week which led me to start progress on this custom level of glass beach by. glass beach which. is far. VERY far from finished (7 FUCKING MINUTES ARE YOU KIDDING ME) but i wanted to share what i have of it it anyways bcuz. i need ppl to see my vision.

ik the song is supposed to be about a girl’s parents being shitty and the guy wanting his lover to run away from them and stuff, but i have a plot in mind about how instead of parents its nicoles smoking addiction which keeps on hurting her and how cole is tired of it. i think its nice to explore their journey of cutting away from their addiction (even though its mostly talked about in the game… idk i still think its interesting) and how everyone else in the hospital helps them idk. also including some pining because that's always wonderful

theres also this little mini comic i drew w the first couple of lyrics of classic j dies and goes to hell part 1, theres not really a story its just random moments but i still think its decently alright? i am. not a storyteller. IDK

but anyways i just want people to get that they are so. glass beach coded and i could NOT get them off of my mind for the life of me. i hope i can muster up the motivation to finish the level because i really really want to and i think itd be cool idk RAMBLE OVER

Let’s say hypothetically I had a thought of how to turn RD story into a horror story. Late night hospital times and a new and “improved” version of the intern bot that uses Edega’s “miracle cure” is being worked on by Ian. It’s online just hostless. The funny virus sees this and goes oo mine now.

Proceeds to send the hospital into lockdown with the power going out. Now it’s wandering around, using the stronger defibrillator for something much more.. violent.

Ravioli Ship Week Day 1 - Love/Favorite AU. What encapsulates love more than listening intently to the person you love most ramble on and on about something you don’t understand at all?

I also decided to draw my own Ravio and Link for this, because my favorite au is my own :) I know no shame :) the only regrets I have is that I couldn’t make more drawings of them(I only finished two drawings for this week :().

EDIT: Not canon. Link doesn’t actually have romantic feelings for Ravio, he just thinks he does. He will still listen to Ravio ramble on, because he does care for Ravio.

Anyways, Ravio’s rambling about different kinds of magic tricks, because he’s a magician(and also a regular mage but he likes magic tricks) and Link is a victorian era acrobat! He’s also not a hylian but Ravi doesn’t know that lol. Gosh I want to talk about this au so bad augh.
