I keep telling myself to try new things. To branch out. But I keep going back to the things I love, and is that really such a bad thing? Rose fragrance and oil and extract and everything from and around those soft pink petals have really established themselves in my upper echelon of favorite ingredients for all kinds of skin, hair, and body care. It's so luxurious without feeling excessive, and seems kind of old fashioned and glamorous with a side of sweetness and simplicity that is just irresistible to me. And so I had myself a full body rose session the other night! I tried to keep it simple overall, but stick my theme at every level: triple cleanse with the RE:cipe Cleansing Oil, Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Cleanser, and Velieve Rose Petal cleansing foam; quick swipe of toner followed by the endlessly creepy but actually really effective 23yearsold ROSEGOLD24K sheet mask. Like, why is there no mouth?! It was nice to lie back and be quiet and soak up all that lovely and surprisingly light essence, but I am a chronic jaw clencher and tooth grinder (thanks bruxism!), so I was pretty stiff after the good 30-45 min it took to absorb. After that, I didn't want to overdo it and also wanted to let that 24K magic happen on its own, so I followed up with the Aromatica rose eye cream and the light but also rich Treeannsea Desert Rose Cream. And before all of that, I tried the Matrix Oil Wonders Volume Rose shampoo and conditioner (which I LOVE), and the Ren Moroccan Rose body wash and cream (which I found underwhelming tbh). I felt pretty and relaxed and ready for my much-needed beauty sleep after all of that, though, so my mission to relax and rejuvenate was most definitely accomplished.

What skincare product would you recommend me having in my schoolbag as a quick 'pick me up' in the middle of the day. Something hydrating, suitable for acne-prone skin, cheap and *maybe* containing SPF (I can apply sunscreen if needed though.)

I suppose it comes down to whether you want a hydrating “pick-me-up” mist, or a dedicated SPF mist that may not be as nourishing, but will get the job done with one product. Những loại kem chống nắng “must try” trong mùa hè này

Mùa hè đến chắc hẳn các nàng sẽ vô cùng đau đầu để tìm loại kem chống nắng phù hợp. Từng làn da lại cần một loại chống nắng khác nhau. Những gợi ý dưới đây sẽ giúp bạn tìm được loại kem chống nắng ưng ý nhất. Cùng tìm hiểu xem có những loại chống nắng nào nhé!

1. Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Gel SPF 50+ PA++++ (Giá khoảng 550.000 VNĐ): Nói chung Anessa "giá chát" ai cũng biết nhưng thực sự đáng đồng tiền bát gạo. Đúng kiểu kem chống nắng của đỉnh cao luôn. Dùng mùa Hè kiềm dầu tốt, cuối ngày hơi dầu bên cánh mũi và 1 chút trán thôi. Dùng mùa Đông thì cực ổn, không bị khô da. Dạng kem, dễ tán, không vón cục, tiệp vào da chứ không kiểu màng màng như 1 số kem chống nắng khác. Mình chấm 10/10.

2.Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Milk SPF 50+ PA++++ (Giá khoảng 650.000 VNĐ): Cũng không khác gì 2 loại gel ở trên cả. Được cái dễ thấm hơn vì texture lỏng hơn kiểu sữa sữa ý. Chấm 10/10 nha.

3.Cell Fusion C Clear Sunscreen 100 SPF 50 PA +++ (Giá khoảng 450.000 VNĐ) : Nghe review của rất nhiều nàng rồi nhưng gần đây mình mới order về dùng thử xem sao, nhưng cũng thấy không “thần thánh” như lời đồn. Ưu điểm là dễ thấm, lành tính, mùi thảo mộc khá thích và vô cùng lành tính. Nhược điểm là kiềm dầu chưa tốt lắm, có nâng tone nhưng cảm giác tán kem ra màu không đều. Thiết nghĩ hợp làm lót makeup thì sẽ không lộ những nhược điểm trên hoặc tán bằng mút sẽ đều màu hơn. Chấm 7/10 thôi nhé.

4.Peter Thomas Roth Max Sheer All Day Moisture Defense Lotion SPF 30 (Giá khoảng 970.000 VNĐ): Mình mua mini nên cũng không để ý lắm đến chữ moisture và lotion nên tất nhiên không kiềm dầu được tí nào cả, nhưng recommend cho bạn nào da khô nhé. Ưu điểm mùi thơm kiểu kem sữa, kem tán khá rộng nên dùng tiết kiệm, dưỡng ẩm tốt vì có thành phần vitamin A E C và lô hội. Nhược điểm SPF 30 hơi thấp và... cay mắt kinh khủng. Mình 2-3 lần dùng và rất khổ sở khi đi xe máy, cứ vừa đi vừa khóc. Tất nhiên mình da dầu ở vùng chữ T nên nó chảy xuống mắt. Không chấm điểm kem này cho da mình nhưng chắc tầm 7-8/10 cho ai da khô nha.

5.Re:cipe Crystal Sun Spray SPF 50+ PA +++ (Giá khoảng 300.000 VNĐ): Kem chống nắng này nổi tiếng chắc vì Cổ Lực Na Trát suốt ngày dùng và mình cũng mong được trắng đẹp lung linh như vậy. Tác dụng kiềm dầu không rõ ràng lắm, dùng xịt thì khá tốn rồi và đặc biệt sau 1 lúc mặt xuống tone sạm lại thấy rõ (kể cả bạn mình dùng cũng thấy vậy) và mặt sẽ bóng lộn lên. Kiểu nhìn mặt cứ bị nâu nâu vàng vàng như bị tăng men gan vậy. Nói chung chắc để xịt body là ổn. Chấm 5/10 vì dạng xịt tiện dụng và texture mỏng nhẹ.

6.Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF 100 Broad Spectrum (Giá khoảng 290.000 VNĐ): Nó ghi là dry touch nhưng mình không thấy dry chút nào. Texture kem đặc, lên mặt khá dày, nặng và không kiềm dầu, tán kĩ nhưng nhìn vẫn không đều lắm. Nói chung em này thực sự hợp cho body đặc biệt là đi biển, du lịch... vì SPF 100 rất cao và còn chống nước. Chấm 5/10 cho mặt, 9/10 cho body nhé.

7.Senka Perfect UV Gel SPF 50+ PA++++ (Giá khoảng 200.000 VNĐ): Ưu điểm là SPF cao, dễ tán, giá bình dân. Nhược điểm là kiềm dầu không quá tốt, hơi bí da vì mình bị lên mụn ẩn, mùi cồn hắc hắc. Chắc em này hợp da khô. Chấm 6,5/10 nha.

Trên đây là những sản phẩm chống nắng mà mình đã trải nghiệm từ đó mong rằng sẽ giúp được phần nào giúp các nàng chọn được một sản phẩm chống nắng ưng ý nhất.

RE:CIPE Rose Petal Cleansing Oil

I’ve tried different oil cleansers and I will say, not all oil cleansers are the same but I wanted to try this oil cleanser out because I always like trying something new. The rose extracts are meant to purify and brighten the skin. (My dad did say my skin looked so bright…he actually said I looked so pale…I would blame it on the winter but then again maybe it’s this) Unfortunately, this is sold out on Memebox and I can’t seem to find it anywhere else. Pure Snail Mask & Pure Green Tea Mask

COSRX Low pH Good Morning Cleanser

Finding a good cleanser is like finding the right foundation. I have tried many different cleansers in my day but this one is pretty good. It has Tea Tree Oil in it which deeply cleanses your pores and rids your skin of dead skin cells all while gently cleansing your skin.

CLIO Waterproof Pen Liner Kill Brown

I always use Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner but lately, I have been using different brown liners especially when I wear bold lipsticks. I decided to buy this liner to see if it could live up to all the hype. I have yet to wear it on my eyes but while trying it on my skin, it did not last very long. We’ll see how long it lasts through out the day when I wear it.

HOPE GIRL Super Wonder Magic Mascara

I used to work at Sephora so I’ve tried a ton of mascaras (and I got a lot in gratis, free products for employees). Some mascaras are more expensive than others and for good reason. This mascara has a curved brush that is meant to give your lashes volume. Maybe it’s because I’ve used mascaras like Dior and I’ve been spoiled but I wasn’t too impressed with this mascara. I will use it until I decide to shell out $30.00 for some more Dior mascara.

ETTANG Peeling Soothing Mask

This mask was fun! There were two parts to this mask. One part is a peeling mask that removes dead skin and gently exfoliates it. The second part is an actual sheet mask that has aloe vera in it that soothes and hydrates your skin.

Hello my chicas! Well the new year is finally here and thank god for it!!! Hopefully its not a repeat or for that matter anywhere near the hot mess last year was…ok not gonna stretch that any longer coz Im sure you are over it already. Bringing in the new year with a product empties post…good place to start as any 🙂 I have really focused on using up products that I have stocked up and or ignored.…

I know a while ago you posted about how your getting into skincare, can I ask what your routine is?

In the morning I don't really have a routine. If I used a sleeping pack the night before I'll use an oil cleanser and use my Enprani Moistfull Booskin, Cosrx Galactomyces 95 White Power Essence (they should've thought that through...), Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence, and then a light moisturizer like the Secret Key Snow White Cream or Elizavecca Hyaluronic Acid Water Drop Gel Cream. If I'm going out and it's going to be sunny I use the Cosrx aloe sunscreen (I forgot the actual name). If my skin is feeling a bit dry and I didn't use a pack I'll just pat on a thin layer of whatever Essence I have nearby. At night if I had makeup on or my skin feels gross I'll use the I'm Meme Cleansing Oil in Fresh followed by the Re:cipe Slowganic Cleanser in Lemon. If my skin needs a good cleaning I'll use the Cosrx Good Morning Low pH Gel Cleanser. After washing, twice a week I exfoliate, once with the Skinfood Black Sugar Mask and once with the Skin & Lab Dr. Vita Gently Vita Exfoliator. Once in a while I'll also use the Bonvivant Jelly Clay Mask in Pink Calamine. I follow that with two layers of Moistfull Booskin and two layers of Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner. After that I use the Galactomyces again, then the D'ran Wonder Tea Tree Essence. Right now for my serum I'm using the Caudalíe Vinoperfect Radience Serum but I'm looking for something new. If I'm feeling dry I'll use the Labiotte Total Recovery Lotus Emulsion. A few times a week I'll use a sheet mask and I'm really liking the Bonvivant masks in Adenosine/Açai. Then I use a light layer of the Elizavecca Creamy Donkey Steam Moisture Milky Cream and after it absorbs I'll add a heavier layer. For my eye cream I use the Moistfull Collagen Eye Cream from Etude House. Right before bed I'll add a second thicker layer of that too. If I'm feeling dry then I'll use a thin layer of the Goodal Firming Honey Sleeping Pack.

Первая похожа на ватный тампон, хорошо пропитана, с лёгким запахом спирта, держала 15 минут, на неё сверху наложила чёрный патч, который за 10 минут высох и легко оторвался от кожи, удаляя загрязнения, и третья похожая на гидрогелевый патч с запахом лимона, для завершающего эффекта, который я держала около 20 минут. This has been QUITE a weekend, and yes, I know it's Monday. On Friday I had five gum grafts, three on my bottom gums and two up top, covering thirteen different spots in my mouth. It was a four hour surgery, and I wasn't completely knocked out for it: I was woozy and loopy, but mostly awake and could feel some sensations but (fortunately) no pain. I was swollen and numb when I got done, and remained pretty sore and swollen for much of the weekend. Today the swelling is finally going down a bit, but now there's bruising to contend with, and it's that old, yellowed looking bruising around my mouth and cheeks that always takes forever to heal for me. I also missed the Women's March, which was a huge bummer for me, but I'm also feeling determined to take more action to make up for it. So, anyway, long story short: I'm not feeling myself right now. My cheeks are still too tender for a deep cleanse, but the RE:cipe green tea cleanser came through with a nice bit of froth and some scrubbiness that wasn't too crazy. I'm really loving the Avene spring water more and more as a super-gentle cleanser follow-up than other more potent toners at the moment, and the Tosowoong Pure Green Tea Mask is a perennial favorite of mine. I'm trying to keep it light so maybe my dermatitis stays at bay (not being able to do more than use cleansing cloths and waters might have had something to do with it clearing up over the weekend), so then I'm following up with my trusty Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Skin and Cream along with Mario Badescu's Ceramide Eye Gel. Tomorrow is my first day back at work, with a mouthful of stitches, a liquid diet requirement, and I'm sure I'll be still be swollen, but at least my skin will hopefully be softer, smoother, brighter and ready to take on the rest of what is sure to be a busy week.
