Three of my four rescues were part of a trap and relocate program for adult ‘wild cats’ at the city tip.

Near the end of the program we took in three adults who were each deemed unadoptable for various reasons.

Richard Parker was known by the rescue program as Hiss and Spit because he was incredibly violent, even tho he never actually swiped at anyone the hissing and the spitting scared away potential families. Pebbles had trauma bonded to Richard Parker and wouldn’t leave his side and Adventure was considered ‘shy’ and too wary of humans, and had bonded to Pebbles so Parker would tolerate her being around.

After having these guys for about six months, We then took in a kitten that had been dumped in a box on the highway with her litter mates. And you can really tell which ones grew up on the streets/at the city tip versus the Fat Cat who has only known safety other than the highway thing.

Our cats weren’t adopted from the shelter. We kidnapped them out of a bush. They have probably at some point before we pulled them out of that bush killed to survive.

So when you play feather on a string with these suckers they do not playfully swipe and pounce they are out to kill that thing and they do. They’ve broken two chains already. They have broken the feather free of its chains and have carried it off to kill it some more.

Their toy mice don’t last long. Within the hour a new toy mouse has been gutted and torn open, its inner stuffing now being batted about for their amusement.

My sweet Freddy😽🧡 So sleepy! But he's got to play anyway, it's more important than sleeping 😸🧡

I found Freddy last August. He was starving all alone on the streets. He came into the backyard of our apartment building, which is where I rescued him. The Vet estimated him to be 2 months.

He is so happy now and thriving! He was accepted by the other kitties right away and so he came into our home and was loved by everyone right away ❤️ Freddy is the best that happened last year.
