This is Momma Sake. She’s 2 years 6 months-old and FeLV+ and FIV+. Momma Sake was rescued in April, 2024, from San Bernardino, CA by Jeannine, who wanted to get her and her kitten, Boris, out of the local shelter due to the shelter’s reputation for euthanizing cats.

After Momma Sake was spayed (and Boris Neutered), Jeannine found out that both were positive for FeLV and FIV. Not knowing where to turn, Jeannine contacted us…

And the rest is history.

Unfortunately, Boris passed away at the beginning of this month (April 2). Momma Sake joined us this morning.

Thank you, Jeannine, for saving Momma Sake and getting her to us!

Winston - (Foster)

Ball, is toy? Hand, is toy. 👌😸

Winston, also known as Zoomer, was brought to the shelter at 2 weeks old as a single stray shortly after I started, making him my first bottle baby foster. (His intake picture has been included 😁) As soon as he could walk, he was taking off and ‘zooming’ everywhere he could, thus earning him his nickname 😂🥰 After several weeks of diligent care, I brought my crazy Zoomer back to the shelter in preparation for his neuter appointment the next morning. That same day, the sweetest couple came into the shelter looking for a cat after one of theirs had crossed the rainbow bridge. They were also expecting a little one of their own! They instantly fell in love with the chaos in Zoomer’s eyes and said they would come back after his appointment. True to their word, they came back a few days later and took this wonderful little monster home, giving him the new name ‘Greg’ 🥰 They recently welcomed their beautiful baby into the world and Greg couldn’t be happier! He’s constantly watching over sweet Sophia and is often found napping close by. I’ll share more on Zoomer’s story in future posts, so make sure to follow!
