People you want to get to know better

I got tagged for this by @sketchyfletch and I’m gonna tag ... erm ... @maybethings, @raceofhearts and @mayaminamoto

1. Three Ships: I’m not really all that much of a shipper, in all honesty. I suppose Percy / Vex’halia from Critical Role (largely because it wasn’t an “I can fix him / her” or an “I can make him / her worse” but an “I can be the person they deserve and oh, shit, I’m actually happier in a lot of ways because of the changes in me, not just because them”. Also because “I open the door ... completely naked”.) Erm ... I’m a big fan of the Sera / Inquisitor romance, despite wishing there were more dialogue options that translate more to “I see where you’re coming from” than to “You’re incredibly weird but I can live with that”. But honestly, I think my absolute favourite ship isn’t a strictly speaking fandom one but one that kind of sprang up in my old Star Wars: The Old Republic RP guild between one of my characters and a character a friend of mine introduced. So here’s to Jallira, the meepiest Jedi medic, and Corporal Rilus Harridin, Mantellian military surgeon. There was so much character development and and so many funtimes because of that particular in-game relationship (which was apparently adorable to the point where even one of the players who steadfastly refused to ship a hetero couple ever actually shipped it).

2. First Ever Ship: Keep in mind that I am old, okay? My first ships are, like, historic. Translation: I shipped Leia and Han Solo from the first.

3. Last Song: The Rachel Hardy cover of Guns for Hire. I actually have an entire Spotify playlist devoted entirely to weird and interesting covers of songs.

4. Last Movie: Erm. Honestly? I don’t watch much stuff, and especially not movies, so the last movie I saw almost in its entirety was Back to the Future, and that only because it was playing on Christmas day and it was something to watch between dinner and dessert.

5. Currently Reading: The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray, by Chris Wooding. Mostly because it’s the last of the books I got with birthday Amazon gift voucher that I have yet to devour. Oh, and flipping through By The Sword by Mercedes Lackey when I want something that’s not on my Kindle.

6. Currently Watching: I’m between watches right now, so it’s a toss-up between watching vids of my fortnightly D&D game (mostly for research and reminder purposes) and some of my favourite moments from Legend of Vox Machina S2

7. Currently Consuming: A bottle of cola. Might have a sandwich later.

8. Currently Craving: Something sweet. Which I actually have - I picked up some toffee ice cream cones (with gluten-free waffle cones) from Tesco’s yesterday and I might have one of those.

From the Defy-owned era of Smosh (2016-2018) I'd recommend looking up the playlists on yt of the different shows of the pit squad since they're in every vid: Day Jobs Series, Squad Vlogs and Show w/ no name (the ones they're in together)

ALL Smosh pit videos in that era are basically Court, Shayne, Liv, Keith and Noah so anything tagged 'squad vlogs' like board games vids, field trips, spin the bottle vids, thrift shop vids and mailtime vids all have sh*urtney moments. Def search for them and binge any one of them.

Any winter games or summer games series are a fun binge and they usually have the two of them interacting.

But enjoy the chaos of my 'ADHD despite my meds having kicked in today, forgetful because I have a BAD object permanence/constancy deficit, unorganized but organized in that disorganization at the same time, can't delete things because what if I need it in 2 years LIKE THIS VIDEO' brain.

I opened up the attachment option like this

BECAUSE I HAVE OVER 18,000 (EIGHTTEEN THOUSAND, YES) PHOTOS/VIDEOS. 💀 I literally just took the 2 days and transferred them all over to my hard drive like the week of Mom's brain surgery, I just haven't taken the days to go through and delete each I don't need on my phone anymore because, well, Mom had brain surgery and that was only a week after her arm nerve surgery and I've needed to take care of her and then we both now have some kind of respiratory infection so we've been taking medicine and sleeping for the past week and a half basically, while the weather goes from 87f one day to 28f the next night back to 78f the next day.

(The weather description is added because the yoyo weather typically causes the start of sinus infections for me, happens every single damn year at this time, and has since I was like 2 or 3, and no doctor wants to prescribe antibiotics because they don't want to risk me becoming immune to them ((?????! 😭 Once a year would not do that, especially if they alternate between amoxicillin, augmentin, azythromyacin/z-pack, clindamyacin, cefdinir, etc each year... All things I've taken over my 30 years of many, many sicknesses and all still 100% effective for my body at normal doses! I already take daily allergy/sinus nasal spray that used to be $400 a bottle when I was like 10 and is now otc and is like $12-15, I take an anxiety /allergy rx also, like? Give me the fucking antibiotics I've had an infection according to my white blood cell count for the past 3 years almost constantly.)) but yeah, yoyo weather, it's harsh on a body, lmao.)

But I'm searching, and I have my gallery generally organized. I have a reactions set that all start with 'R-' and then what emotions they convey, have video folders and all my celeb pics are by group/member/individual, I have individual friend and family folders, i have mood boards for each original song I'm going to record and release eventually and they each have their own folder til I make them into one image, etc. It took like idk, in total probably a week or 2 to do all of this. So twenty minutes pass and I CANNOT FIND this video I randomly remembered while adding tags to this post. So I'm laying here like

I've checked @anxiousgirl and @thevampywolf 's folders, I've checked each video folder, every reaction folder, I checked my personal folders cause maybe I put it there because it so accurately describes how fucking dumb I am - nothing.

So then I realized - I sent it to both Rachel and Ash like a year ago. Now, we both send a fuck ton of videos, memes, gifs, random pics, etc all the time. But I KNOW that Ash and I send more back and forth because we both get on our ADHD bullshit on Tiktok and Instagram and send mass spams randomly. So I'm going through Rachie's WhatsApp chat. And the only kind of search query I can think of is 'stupid' because that's the video basically. So I'm going through ALL 'Media, Links, and Docs'.

Y'all I thought I was bad at sending pics and vids to Ash, but Rach, I am so sorry, lmfao. Like one time in May I sent maybe 50 fucking things in one convo because I was introducing you to Monsta X a bit and. 😭🥴 I'm a visual teacher/learner, y'all, okay?!

Anyway. It's now been about an hour and a half since I started this and I finally found this dumb 6 second video that I sent her last April. Also, very succinctly sums up the whole fucking post, lmfaoooo.

Rambheemjennysita headcanon pt.2

Jaan and Johari teaches the family the this is for Rachel rap with the city girls remix and blares it at the Scotts(who are reincarnated and as horrible as always but are being punished by the family in this life now). Especially towards lady Scott since she always got something to say about Jenny and the girls. Also a vid that goes viral on internet for Jenny, bheem, ram, and sita rapping word for word with shades on. While Jaan and Johari hype them up in the background.

This is what I got so far overall this family is chaotic and are not stopping anytime soon in their shenanigans.

Bonus of bheem running for minister and the fam squaring up like the power rangers/avengers once they get the ransom vids or the girls tip em off that the tracking device they have on him is going off. Forming the bheem protection squad(with ram as its president) and stopping attempted kidnappings and assassinations while bheem is blissfully unaware. (Like that video of the cat guarding the mother and child and does a backflip in fear of a enemy coming when really it was a truck.)

Writeblr Introduction (even though I’ve been here for 6 years oops)

Hi folks! I’ve been posting writeblr content to this blog for over 6 years, but haven’t done a formal introduction since my very first post! So here we go!

About Me

I am a 19-year-old (nearly 20 oml) writer from Toronto!

I started this blog, Coffee and Calligraphy, when I was 13, and have posted ever since!

I love: green tea, true crime, highlight bloom (lol)

I am also: an artist, a guitarist, a graphic designer, a photographer, and a YouTuber (I make writing vlogs, craft vids, book cover design speedpaints, and more)!

My writing background

I’ve been writing for 7 years. I started writing YA dystopian but now primarily write adult literary fiction (though I do have a few genre WIPs in the works). I also write and publish poetry.

I’ve written 10 books and am at work on the eleventh (and twelfth, and thirteenth, oops)!

I will be entering my third year as a creative writing undergrad at a Canadian university in the fall.

My writing has been published in magazines across Canada such as Minola Review, Grain Magazine, The Malahat Review, Augur Magazine, carte blanche, filling Station (forthcoming) and elsewhere!

Feeding Habits

Feeding Habits is my eleventh novel, and the second book of the Moth Work series, which is a spinoff of my six-book series, Fostered.

Genre: Adult literary fiction/contemporary/romance/LGBTQ+

POV: Third person, present tense.

Status: Currently drafting

Logline: Lonan, stuck in a toxic relationship, and Harrison, disappointed by his New York City restart, find themselves on separate trajectories toward inevitable isolation until Lonan finds purpose in helping out an old friend, and Harrison realizes his dull reboot could be revitalized if he seeks out what—or who—is missing.

Seventh Virtue

Seventh Virtue is my thirteenth novel (if I do finish it!) and an alternate-reality spinoff of the Fostered series. So, the same characters, but in a different world!

Genre: Adult urban fantasy

POV: Third person, present tense.

Status: Currently drafting

Logline: After being tormented by nightmares of his ex-lover Lonan, Harrison seeks a magical intervention from old friend, Reeve. When she reveals she and Lonan are members of the Seventh Roost, one of seven magical families that coincide with the 7 Virtues and 7 Capital Sins, she also unveils another secret: Lonan is part Virtue, the immortal bird that represents each house, and her family is holding him captive in hopes of extrapolating his power. Harrison must choose to continue life as he knows it or rekindle relationships he thought he’d left behind to save someone he once loved.

She is Also Dead

She is Also Dead is my twelfth book and my first short story collection.

Genre: Adult literary fiction, short fiction

Status: Currently drafting, 14 stories

Logline: In SHE IS ALSO DEAD, a small town turns murderous when their local invasive species, the Janices, begin dying. A child struggles to understand her mother’s suicide. A mother acknowledges her daughter’s homicidal tendencies after her backyard chickens mysteriously die, and a murderous brother and sister upkeep their yearly tradition of abducting a young girl. These stories follow characters who navigate death, violent impulses, womanhood, and loss, both self-imposed and otherwise.

random glee moments that make me laugh (but weren’t meant to be funny .edit: i kinda went off the rails, so this title applies less and less)

1. Rachel messing up her NYADA audition (especially the part where the stage lights turn off because wtf peak comedy right there)

2. Blaine telling Kurt “prejudice is not ignorance” during their chat. I’m sorry but wise mentor!blaine is the funniest thing ever now that I know this boy is such a dumbass

3. kurt dramatically entering the room to reveal the terrible news that Pav died, wearing all black. Kurt’s so extra and I love him for it

4. finchel kiss that missed. Nd are just chilling there, probably wondering why everything went silent and why the clapping was delayed. They have no freakin idea

5. emma and will being part of the scientist. like you had one fight. calm down.

6. Dalton burning down. like it’s something that might as well have happened and you’d be lying if you didn’t think it was funny

7. " I do find it very funny that Mercedes and Quinn get one line that is not complimentary at all to Will. Iconic of them, really. Also, Quinn popping out to announce she’s donating the egg for Klaine’s baby. If she really did that and Rachel is the surrogate then that baby is going to have PIPES. My favorite part is when they are all complimenting Will and it flashes to Kurt, Blaine, and Quinn and they’re all like [gay silence]. ICONIC OF THEM. Honestly, a lot of this can be read with Will Hater glasses and be 100x better. Tina’s half compliment, Blaine’s lack of commitment to his lines (babe was reading off a teleprompter for sure). It’s ALL super funny." All of this by @personalgarbagepile referring to the season 5 Will vid.

8. basically all season 2 warbler performances, specifically whenever blaine busts through the doors in an obviously rehearsed performance

9. season 1 scene where they had to pretend that quinn’s mom couldn’t zip up quinn’s dress despite the fact you can tell that it fits her, but they had to pretend it didnt

10. again lauren is bringing excellent contributions but i’m not adding more long tags so the gist is wtf was the message of blame it on the alcohol. It’s literally here is sexism. it’s sad :( oh well.

Something that I find more funny than anything is that in early season 2 (mostly duets and NBK) there’s like 5 different scenes of Kurt saying “this school does nothing for me” “I’m lonely and looking for a partner 👀”Absolutely incredible subtle foreshadowing

Like "The scene of Burt and Kurt talking together makes me really emotional, but it’s also really funny considering NBK is only two episodes away. They really said we’re having fun this season and I love it. Kurt doing the duet by himself. They REALLY said Kurt is lonely and looking for love this episode, and I find it VERY funny. 

""Teenage Dream: The fact that Blaine and a school with a no bullying policy is introduced with this song is So Funny. Glee has no patience for subtlety and I Love IT. "

oh i wrote this in my review of 2x09 "Blaine is such an asshole this episode, and it’s really funny to me. This man had to give Kurt a whole speech about conformity because he raised the bar too much by lifting his arms while singing a song. Amazing. I theorize it’s because it literally looks painful to raise your arms while in those blazers. 

"OH and in 2x13 "I think it’s really funny that the boys are like “my girlfriend isn’t into me” while literally all the girls are flirting with each other."

18. quinn making sam pay for the first date, because we now know that he either is or is going to be homeless

19. the phone calls that happen to let the guys know that kurt’s in the hospital for bashed. like yes it’s a serious moment but also, why am i seeing shots of their foreheads?? and you expect me not to laugh.
