जहां अशोक गहलोत सरकार ने रात्रि 8:00 बजे बाद शराब के विक्रय पर कठोर कदम उठाए हैं वही इन सब नियमों की धज्जियां उड़ाने से शराब के ठेकदार बाज नहीं आ रहे है। रात्रि 8 बजे बाद भी खुलेआम बेची जा रही है नियमो के विपरीत शराब।

बात यही ख़त्म नहीं होती है शराब के ठेकेदार ने तो आबकारी नियमो को दरकिनार कर दिया हैं और तो और जहा शराब के गौदाम पर सिर्फ शराब की बिक्री ही की जानी चाहिए वही उदयपुर के सीसारमा गांव में कोडियत रोड पर स्थित शराब के ठेकेदार ने गौदाम से ही खुलेआम शराब बेच रहा है ।

उदयपुर के रामपुरा व्यापार मंडल के प्रतिनिधियो ने आबकरी आयुक्त को भी लिखित में शिकायत दर्ज कर रखी है लेकिन आबकारी विभाग ने इस मामले पर कोई कदम नहीं उठाया है।

उससे साफ नजर आता है की शराब के ठेकदार के रसूक के आगे आबकारी विभाग विफल नजर आ रहा है।
