‘Göbeklitepe’ye gideceğim’ dediğimde, Balıklı Göl ve çevresi ziyaretler sonrası, tanıştığım Urfalılar, ‘ileride minyatürü var abla’, ‘girişi 70 TL boşver’, ‘bak, bu resmin aynısı, her yer taş, ne yapacaksın’ vs vs dediler.😂🤷🏻‍♀️ Ayaküstü herkese hayatımı anlatabilen bir yapım olduğu için, bir amcaya akşama diyarbakır’da düğüne gideceğimi de söyledim. O da tutturdu, ‘bu elbiseyle düğüne gidilmez’ diye. Gayet yüzü ciddi, asık hatta. Kasketini düzelterek, çayını höpürtederek konuşuyor. Bırakmıyor ki Göbeklitepe’ye gideyim, zamanım da geçiyor😂🤦🏻‍♀️ Dedim, ‘zaten otele dönünce değiştireceğim, duş alacağım, başka elbise giyeceğim’. benim böyle, kan ter içinde, düğüne gideceğimi sanıyor, ona kızıyor, diye düşünüp cevap veriyorum😂🤷🏻‍♀️ bir yandan da en sevdiğim elbiselerimden birini neden beğenmedi diye üzülüyorum içimden🤦🏻‍♀️ ‘nasıl elbise’ dedi. ‘çiçekli elbisem var onu giyeceğim, dedim😂🤷🏻‍♀️ ‘ ııh Olmaz o da! pullu elbise giymen lazım’ dedi. Dedim, ‘benim hiç öyle elbisem olmadı’, küçük emrah sitiliyle kaşlarımı kaldırarak😂🤷🏻‍♀️ Ciddi ciddi üzülüyorum, düğüne alınmayacağımı sandım🤦🏻‍♀️ Hemen oradan biri eşini aradı. ‘Senin kadar boyu var, ama senden kiloludur, onun var, olur mu, hazır mı sorayım‘ Ben şok. Dedim, ‘yok, ben gitmeyiveririm olmadı ne yapalım’. O üzüntüyle göbeklitepe’ye geldim. Tarihin, dinler tarihinin, insanın, insanlığın yeniden yaratılıp, yazılıp, başladığı yere. Öyle etkileyici ki.. Tüm bilinenlerin ötesinde anlam bulmayı bekleyen noktalar var, ülkemizin topraklarında.. 从基多搭飞机只要45分钟，坐大巴却要10个小时，而且盘山路危险。养在深山里的昆卡凭什么能位列世界遗产？如果说基多像北京，瓜亚基尔像上海，那昆卡就像昆明或者成都这样的城市，舒适，慵懒，安全，但又有南美最大的教堂，印加遗迹，众多老房子改成的小博物馆。

I like taking photos in rain. And of rain.

These two boys near the old temple Beng Mealea, between Siem Reap and Koulen Mountain National park played on unabated by the downpour. Adding some needed spots of colours to the shot.

Why travel during rainy season

Travelling in Asia during rainy seasons does not really bother me. I am neither a beach dweller nor a crazy sun lover. Culture, history and seeing peoples life and living are my main interests. And that is often better experienced during the cooler weather the rain provides. Since people leave their house and covers when the sun is not hammering down.

Normally during rainy season, it rains in spells morning and afternoon, when it is time for a break anyway.

And enjoy the look, feel, sound and smell of rain.
