The AU brainrot is taking over my art these past couple days

Another dorito made in the SBS discord let’s go

So Damsel!Eclipse is a version of the dorito where he died from overexerting himself with the star to the point it killed him, but he wakes up (via a backup) in a new body, but it’s in the hands of The Creator, who ends up puppeting him for almost a year before the others find out not only is Eclipse alive, but also a prisoner in his own body.

It doesn’t take long for him to get desperate for escape, but trying to fight basically has the consequence of powerful controlled shocks, so he can’t get out.

(Also lil side note this Eclipse ended up warming up to Earth before the star took it’s toll, that’s gonna be important later)

So eventually the giant smooth brain masquerading as the dorito goes to daycare to go bother them and I’m pretty sure he was going to go do something to Earth but I’m not certain exactly what.

He goes, Earth is shocked by the fact that Eclipse is alive, but also immediately notices something is off with his speech patterns. Eclipse notices the creator prepping a suspicious file for transfer as he was approaching Earth so he impulsively tries his hardest to take over, no way is he letting the creator do anything to Earth. He manages to get a brief glimpse of control long enough to call for help before being cut off from control, and needless to say Mr Brain is not happy.

Sun enters the scene shortly after, long enough to hear ‘Eclipse’ speaking in that strange tone before he runs away, leaving Sun and Earth to question what they just witnessed.

They go back and report to Moon and Lunar what they saw, and they do a bunch of stuff to figure out what’s going on, and decide to actually go help him out, partially because they (besides Earth) hate/dislike the creator anyways.

Meanwhile Mr Brain decides to essentially start running torture programs on Eclipse, some more so mental torture, and notices Earth appearing in one of them, specifically one that uses the image of the targets loved ones based on memories to hurt them.

So he gets an idea to lure the others to him by letting Eclipse in control to send out an SOS, which he does, and it results in Eclipse coming to control of the body mid-breakdown, and around that moment that’s when they get a signal from him, and get a grasp of what’s going on.

Stuff happens, I don’t remember the details and am also going to skip them for now because this is getting long.

Eventually they make a plan, they get to the base, and navigate for a while until they find Eclipse’s unconscious body propped up in a room.

They try getting him out, but not long after The creator shows up, talking mostly to Earth telling her to come stay for tea while saying the other two can leave (Earth, Moon and Lunar went, Earth went because she insisted because she was the only one Eclipse really trusted, and Sun stayed in case anything happened and he needed to pull them out)

She refuses, and Mr Brain is starting to be less cooperative, meanwhile Moon sneakily hands Lunar a flash drive and sends him a private message to pull Eclipse out via that since taking him with them as is likely wouldn’t work out.

So Mr Brain ends up using an admin code on Earth, which has her stopped in her tracks now being taken under his control. Eclipse ends up almost waking up, and gets a glimpse of Earth being taken captive before blacking out again as Lunar gets him onto the USB last minute.

So Moon emergency messages Sun to pull them out, and he does, but they have to leave Earth behind.

Timeskip, they make it back and take a while to calm down after the intense situation, and eventually Moon sets it up so Lunar can put Eclipse in the daycare desktops so he’s not confined to a flash drive.

So he does that, Eclipse wakes up, starts getting anxious because he doesn’t know where he is, and can only talk through text. Lunar eventually ends up figuring out he can connect to the pcs via a cable so he does that, and enters an area that’s kind of like the mindscape, but more empty.

(Oh also we decided damsel boi has this thing where his appearance in the mindscape starting from a certain point shifts depending on strong emotion. Main two examples are when he feels small and helpless he literally becomes smol, and when he’s having self hatred moments of “I’m a horrible person and I don’t deserve anything good” he takes on a taller, more intimidating appearance. That’s what the art shows.)

Stuff happens, the dorito ends up breaking down in there, and Lunar ends up helping him out with that.

It takes a while but these two end up creating a bond again, but this time it’s much stronger and more mutual.

So a bunch of other stuff happens and also they get Eclipse a nano body (now that he can shapeshift the thing in the mindscape can apply in the real world too) and so does a bunch of other stuff but this is getting way too long so I’ll save those for another time.

Ultra Chaos Knuckles

A fan-design for an imaginary form of Knuckles, where he uses the power of the Master Emerald - made by me!

Already posted about him before; here and here , hadn't gotten much better lol

I dont think he would almost ever, in any situation, use the master emerald for himself, or even for others! His sworn duty is protecting it, and not using it. He can't trust others with it, including him, he would probably think no one would even deserve to wield it's powers in the first place, it shall only be guarded from those who may abuse it. He wouldn't think he would have any more privilege or trust with it than others.

...but, in a hypothetical situation where the potential of the master emerald being the only choice, the only chance of salvation for everyone; would he ever consider?

In any case if it ever would come down to it, I have already said this before; but he would probably be extremely, extremely guilty about it, and ask the master emerald itself first. And would swear in everything, that this is the first and last time he or anyone is every going to use it. And that he would accept any form of punishment that would come with using it's powers, or making a mistake.

Nevertheless, for the right purposes, the master emerald would let him wield it's powers, and oh BOY are they powerful.

As you can see he is GIGANTIC. I was gonna make him more gigantic but then you wouldn't even see the sonic he's holding in his hands everso gently.

Holding many celestial powers at once, I swear in a fanfic concept I had at the back of my mind this makes sense.

Many cracks and veins visibly running through his celestial body, alongside the enourmous scars, are supposed to show that in this state, despite how powerful he really is, it is disgustingly painful to bear.

All the colours of the chaos emeralds are also intended to be visible in the ultra Chaos Knuckles design.

(I apologize for the bad name - it was the first thing I came up with on the spot lmao. And now I'm just used to it)

The moon on his chest is based off of the fact that knuckles' canon design thingy on his chest is based off of the moon crest, to parallel sonics Sun belly or whatever.

Also - rings ! Just thought they'd be a nice addition, also in sonic lore you COULD say they symbolize life in some way.

had a sudden urge to draw my girl and thought making a pc sheet for the forgotten au. very straightforward tbh, she was surviving just fine in robin's faction for a good while since the start of the apocalypse, but then she got pregnant from an assault :(( (not by any named NPCs) so now she has to worry over some little ones.

whats worse is that there had been some pregnant members in robin's faction that had been attacked lately during the night by some unnoticeable people (the cannibals have taken a liking to the taste of pregnant women). it's caused a lot of stress for her and so she decided to leave and join whitney's group just long enough to give birth to the little ones. (did not expect to fall for the asshole leader at all nope -)

her plan afterwards was initially to go back to robin's faction and raise the children there, but she wondered if this was actually the best idea. after speaking with the scouts in whitney's faction, it was actually discovered that the forest was quite in tact and seems to be untouched/unnoticed by the attacks (she has no way to verify this information), and so decided that afterwards, she'll make her way to the forest. hehe, not quite sure if she decides to go through with it or not, perhaps a bad enough fight with whitney might cause her to run off with the kids 👀

I think one thing I struggle with when it comes to wanting to write Solarpunk stories is like

I like writing conflicts. But I don’t know how to write large conflicts—so something like ‘dismantling the government to install a solarpunk society in its place’ is way too big of a fish for me to fry

But also small conflicts just don’t do it for me. I just can’t stay entertained with them long enough. So something like ‘little Maisy lost her favorite doll and its up to her older brother to find it. Oh btw they live in a solarpunk society’ wouldn’t get past like one page if I tried it

But how fantastical can one get before a society is no longer solarpunk but just… fantasy? How far out of the realm of reality can you get before it just seems hollow? But how close can you stay? How much conflict can you have before your hopeful vision of a solarpunk future is no longer hopeful and no longer solarpunk? How big of an issue can you create in a solarpunk society, what kind, while still keeping it solarpunk? While still having a problem that can’t just be handwaved with ‘that wouldn’t happen in solarpunk’?

And of course logically I know the answer is different for everyone. But like. Still. How derivative can you get, how much conflict can you add, before a story intended to be solarpunk just becomes ‘random urban fantasy but with round roofs stained glass and a lot more greenhouses?’

Which means she totally would have gone to Bright Falls at some point, likely worked for about a week there and rented a trailer during that time

But even better is when I imagine her being there in 2010 but LEAVING before Alan shows up for his vacation that we all know becomes an absolute shit show and if they DID encounter each other it was literally by walking by one another

With him getting off the boat arriving in Bright Falls and her getting on it to leave Bright Falls and go to her next destination. Nothing special, they don't realize how entwined their lives will become later on because of the FBC and such

Ya know, it’s funny. Ink is probably the “sans that doesn’t need to be a sans” that actually makes the MOST sense to be a sans anyway IMO.

But not in an in-narrative way,

It makes sense on a META LEVEL.

Think about it

The UTMV fandom’s main creative outlet has always been through Sans. So it only makes sense for its protector, the embodiment of creativity in this fandom, to be one regardless.

And the best part?

It works so well for him to make sense as a sans on a meta level..

Because Ink is a meta character.

disclaimer that this was made before writing the fic... and it's also my first time drawing a map... and also it doesn't have a scale because I'm really struggling trying to translate my "half a day of travel by horseback" into actual measurements.

I imagine that this map was Joel's father's that he found and kept for himself, and then decided to doodle over it to make it 'his'. (Although that is Not canon at all, since Joel would not know where the EVO military academy thing is, nor would he need to when he didn't even know Grian was there...)

This whole map is a bit of a mess since I worked on it back in may i think, and just kept reworking it or adding on to it as I wrote (because for some reason I keep making stuff up as I'm writing?? Why???).

I think all of our little places shown here were mentioned in the fic, plus obviously we've gone to Boatwright, Woodpine, Canary's Ranch and The Shipyard, but we won't be going to Norbury, Cavalie nor EVO academy for a little bit... But we will! Just not in Joel's and Etho's story.

The mountains and forests aren't labeled, but the one between Woodpine and Boatwright would be The Grimm Forest (location for a next fic! hopefully!), and the mountain chains west would be the Aramorian Mountains, the one east would be the Vame Cliffs, as mentioned in SWU !

Have a snippet from the Marriage of State AU!

Ft. Xornoth, Scott, Laurenzside, and a surprising lack of demonic peanut gallery. (I guess Exor was taking a nap)

This takes place between the initial meeting where the marriage is first proposed, and the follow up meeting, where Lizzie and Jimmy go to Rivendell, and everyone finds out that Jimmy is Lizzie's brother

“Okay,” Lauren leans back in her chair, feet stretched out in front of her, and almost slides right out and onto the floor, stopped only by the speed with which she grabs onto the armrests. Both Scott and Xornoth hover awkwardly over her where they had lunged to catch her. She glares up at them and tilts her head so she’s poised to jab her antlers into Xornoth’s arm. “Can I help you? I’m not pregnant anymore you know, falling on the floor won’t hurt me. I'd even be able to stand up all on my own and everything.” Chastened, the king and prince back up and seat themselves. 

Lauren continues as if the little interlude hadn’t occurred. “So we need to go over everything about this before you take it to the council, and definitely before you meet with the Swamp Man.” “Codfather,” Scott mutters under his breath. “His title is The Codfather.” Lauren waves a hand dismissively. This is why she’s an infrastructure counselor and not a diplomat. (And by ‘infrastructure’ Xornoth mostly means she is there to tell them when she thinks they’re being stupid. She’s very good at it.) “They’re going to use this as an excuse to bring up the heir thing again.” Exor’s tailfuzz she’s right. Scott looks like that just occurred to him for the first time as well, but he’s clearly contemplating something. Xornoth will take any solution to certain people’s insistence that they either find an heir or make one. “Does it need to be a concern though,” Scott says slowly, feeling his words out as he speaks them. “Is there any reason I cannot continue to be the heir for now?” Lauren stares blankly at him. “You’ll be marrying in. Best case scenario, we’re able to work it into the official marriage agreement. More likely that would be at your husband’s discretion. Either way its a potential conflict of interest between your duties as heir in one kingdom and consort in another.” “I mean long term,” Scott says, now sounding more sure of himself. “The Codfather is mortal, unlike the other members of his alliance. He’ll live what? Sixty more years? Maybe seventy if fate is kind to him? And then what, another few years of being the grieving royal widow? I could be home before my two hundredth name day.” Lauren glares at Xornoth again, reminded of Scott’s age. (Or lack thereof.) Xornoth, who was even younger when he and Iona were thrown at  each other (By Scott and Lauren no less) ignores her. “It’s possible,” they admit, trying to keep the hope from swelling too much in their gut. Best not to tempt fate. “If need be I can just name one of the cousins as heir in the interim, in case of emergency.” “Not it!” Lauren says immediately, finger on her nose. “I refuse. It’s bad enough you made me a politician, I won’t be a royal.” “Aimsey or Acho probably,” Scott says, looking a million times more relaxed now. “You might need to bring them both to the Peak for a couple of decades, Aimsey at least until star’s first shed. So you can say you’re training them for the role.”
