Rewatching The Mandalorian S3 and oh my god, Axe and Paz have so many fantastic little moments??

1. The eye contact when the Mandalorian fleet first touches down on Nevarro

2. The way Paz instantly volunteers to scout Mandalore’s surface after Axe does

3. Their exchange on the drop-ship

4. The little nod during the perimeter sweep

5. The fight

6. How they get Grogu out of danger together

7. Axe monologuing about the Great Forge and Paz asking follow-up questions

8. The way Paz not only believes that Axe is their best chance at getting word to the fleet but also notices the gap in the ceiling and lays down cover for him

9. Axe standing next to Ragnar when Bo-Katan re-lights the Great Forge

I absolutely love When the War Drums Started Beating by BonesofBeowulf (the whole series is fantastic, it’s a fix it fic where Jango adopts some of the commanders. The republic/ separatist civil war still happens, but differently) and Ramik’ade by Moxibustion (a what-if the clones had superpowers fic where Rex adopts the Domino twins). Definitely longer fics but god I love these two so much, so worth the read and chock-full of Mandalorian culture

I've recently started reading more fanfic as well, but the vast amount is a bit overwhelming. Would you happen to have any recommendations for me? I'm open to reading anything and any/all ships. I'm extremely picky and pretty much the only Star Wars fics I read are codywan- ones that are sweet (optionally also smutty), usually short, and have a very particular vibe.

Just wanted to say thanks for the fanfic rec! I read the entirety of the Ramik'ade fic and enjoyed it. I personally really liked the focus on systems and corrupt systems as it was a cool trait. But those soft moments were also amazing!! I mean Little Echo during the storm!! Ahhhh!! I only recently got into fanfic, so an awesome rec like that was appreciated! thank you!

Aaaa I’m so glad you enjoyed it!! Ramik’ade is one of my favourite Star Wars fics ever (and I read A LOT) so it’s really cool seeing it get the love it deserves!!
