Flipper Zero - tomagotchi patsan multitool for pentester
Part 1
Flipper Zero - a project of a pocket multitool based on the Raspberry Pi Zero for the IoT Pentest and wireless access control systems. This is also the tamagotchi where the cyber dolphin lives. He will be able to: Work in the 433 MHz band - for the study of radio controls, sensors, electronic locks and relays. NFC - read / write and emulate ISO-14443 cards. 125 kHz RFID - read / write and emulate low-frequency cards. iButton keys - read / write and emulate contact keys operating on the 1-Wire protocol. Wi-Fi - to check the security of wireless networks. The adapter supports packet injection and monitor mode. Bluetooth - supported bluez package for Linux Bad USB mode - can be connected as a USB-slave and emulate a keyboard, ethernet adapter and other devices for code injection or network pentest. Tamagotchi! - The low power microcontroller works when the main system is turned off. I am excited to present my most ambitious project, the idea of which I have hatched for many years from one technology news site. This is an attempt to combine all the often necessary tools for a physical pentest into one device, while adding personality to it so that it is nice to shit. At the moment, the project is at the stage of R&D and functional approval, and I invite everyone to participate in the discussion of functions or even take part in the development. Under the cut, a detailed description of the project. Why is this needed? I love to explore everything around and constantly carry around with me various tools for this. I have in my backpack: WiFi adapter, NFC reader, SDR, Proxmark3, HydraNFC, Raspberry Pi Zero (because of this there are problems at the airport). All these devices are not so easy to use on the run, when you have a cup of coffee in one hand or you ride a bicycle. You need to sit down, decompose, get out the compuctor - this is not always convenient. I dreamed about a device that would implement typical attack scenarios, was always on alert and at the same time was not a pack of falling apart boards wound with electrical tape. Raspberry Pi Zero W with battery-shield UPS-Lite v1.0 as a stand-alone flooder for sending pictures to Apple devices via AirDrop Recently, after the open implementation of the AirDrop owlink.org protocol was published and a study from HexWay guys about Apple-Bleee iOS vulnerabilities, I began to have fun in a new way: meeting people on the subway, sending them pictures through AirDrop and collecting their numbers phones. Then I wanted to automate this process and made an autonomous dick-peak car from the Raspberry Pi Zero W and batteries. This topic deserves a separate article, which I can’t finish writing. Everything would be fine, but this device was extremely inconvenient to carry, it could not be put in your pocket, because sharp drops of solder tore the fabric of the pants. I tried to print the case on a 3d printer, but I did not like the result. Special thanks to Ana koteeq Prosvetova, the host of the Telegram channel @theyforcedme, who, at my request, wrote the Telegram bot @AirTrollBot, which generates pictures with text, telegram and the correct aspect ratio so that they are fully displayed on the preview when sending via Airdrop. You can quickly generate a picture suitable for the situation, it looks something like this. Pwnagotchi assembly with e-ink screen and battery shield Then I saw the amazing pwnagotchi project. It's like tamagotchi, only as a meal he eats WPA handshakes and PMKID from Wi-Fi networks, which can then be brute on GPU farms. I liked this project so much that for several days I walked with my pwnagotchi through the streets and watched how he enjoyed the new booty. But he had all the same problems: you can’t put it in your pocket normally, there are no controls, so any user input is possible only from a phone or computer. And then I finally realized how I see the perfect multitool, which I missed. I tweeted about this and my friends liked the industrial designers who make serious electronic stuff. They proposed to make a full-fledged device, instead of a tricked DIY-craft. With real factory production and quality fit parts. We began to search for a design concept. Clickable. The first sketches of the design of Flipper Zero The case and design took a lot of time, because I was tired that all hacker devices look like a bunch of PCBs wound with electrical tape and it is impossible to use them normally. The task was to come up with the most convenient and compact body and device that would be easy to use autonomously without a computer or phone, and this is what came of it. The following describes the current non-final concept of the device. Next part: What is Flipper Zero?

Raspberry Pi Pico W Relais Projekt
Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Is klar ne!
Tumblr media

Download
The latest version of the library can be downloaded from GitHub
Documentation
The library comes with a number of example sketches. See File > Examples > PubSubClient within the Arduino application. Full API Documentation.
Compatible Hardware
The library uses the Arduino Ethernet Client API for interacting with the underlying network hardware. This means it Just Works with a growing number of boards and shields, including:
Arduino Ethernet
Arduino Ethernet Shield
Arduino YUN – use the included YunClient in place of EthernetClient, and be sure to do a Bridge.begin() first
Arduino WiFi Shield - if you want to send packets greater than 90 bytes with this shield, enable the MQTT_MAX_TRANSFER_SIZE option in PubSubClient.h.
Sparkfun WiFly Shield – when used with this library
Intel Galileo/Edison
ESP8266
ESP32The library cannot currently be used with hardware based on the ENC28J60 chip – such as the Nanode or the Nuelectronics Ethernet Shield. For those, there is an alternative library available.
Wire Library
The Wire library allows you to communicate with I2C devices, often also called "2 wire" or "TWI" (Two Wire Interface), can download from Wire.h
Basic Usage
Wire.begin()Begin using Wire in master mode, where you will initiate and control data transfers. This is the most common use when interfacing with most I2C peripheral chips.
Wire.begin(address)Begin using Wire in slave mode, where you will respond at "address" when other I2C masters chips initiate communication.
Transmitting
Wire.beginTransmission(address)Start a new transmission to a device at "address". Master mode is used.
Wire.write(data)Send data. In master mode, beginTransmission must be called first.
Wire.endTransmission()In master mode, this ends the transmission and causes all buffered data to be sent.
Receiving
Wire.requestFrom(address, count)Read "count" bytes from a device at "address". Master mode is used.
Wire.available()Returns the number of bytes available by calling receive.
Wire.read()Receive 1 byte.
Uploading the Code to ESP32 using Arduino IDE
Before uploading the code you can view the working of this sensor at a given link.
Download and include the PubSubClient Library and Wire.h Library.
You must assign your API key, SSID (WiFi Name) and Password of the available network.
Compile and upload the Temp-ThinSpeak.ino code.
To verify the connectivity of the device and the data sent, open the serial monitor. If no response is seen, try unplugging your ESP32 and then plugging it again. Make sure the baud rate of the Serial monitor is set to the same one specified in your code 115200.

The Arduino Cookbook Review
Arduino is a 15 years old brand and I believe that nowadays everyone with minor interests in technology may be owning one of these microcontroller boards. But how many of you are actually using it or have ever made a useful project with it? Sometimes the Arduino is abandoned on a shelf or resting in a drawer because of a lack of inspiration and time, or missing information and education. There is a ton of documentation, sketch, and books available out there into the wild internet. As the magic thing of Arduino is that it’s an open source device. This means most of the information can be found online and everyone has access to the main code and is free to modify it. But if you want to push your knowledge a little bit further, I suggest you buy or rent a book.
I understand that it can be pretty hard to choose a book only by its cover. You may wonder “What this book has to offer more than another one?”, “Why should I pick this one rather than that one?”.
That’s why I decided to try this wonderful book: “Arduino Cookbook” and write a review of its general content. In the same time, I could figure out if the information it contains is rare or may easily be found on the Internet.
The beautiful cover of the book
First impressions
First of all, by a quick look at the cover, I could say that this book would please me. It features a bunny toy with some gears and abstract mechanic concept inside its belly. It is pretty obvious that this book is intended for inventors, “geeks”, and curious-minded persons. But what about beginners in electronics? Well, this is an Arduino related book, not an electronic book. And the authors are not trying to hide it. In the very first chapter, they let you know that there won’t be any explanation of basics electronic concepts. In my humble opinion, this is all right because if you really want to learn electronics, there are several other books for you. Keep in mind that if you are interested in this field, you should at least know what are a resistor and a capacitor, understand the functioning of a transistor, and know the basics of logic doors.
What are you going to learn?
If you’re new to the Arduino world, this book will teach you the basics: how to set your board, install the program, what language to use, and how to communicate with the processor. Once you’re done with the software and basics, you may proceed further in the book. This is where I figured out how much this book was aptly named. The ‘Arduino Cookbook’ features over 200 common tasks that can be accomplished with an Arduino board, some electronic parts, and simple coding. This book can simply be summarized as a bible for digital designers, engineers, and inventors. With all the recipes these pages contain, you will be able to create many wonderful projects and achieve any ideas you have. It goes from driving servo motors with the appropriate shield to storing data in permanent EEPROM, without forgetting LCD display, audio output, infrared commands, wireless communication, Ethernet, and networking functions (to only quote a few).
A great kit you may try with this book.
What’s in there really.
Here are some of the interesting learnings I’ve found in this book. Did you know that you could create a clock with the help of the Arduino board?  The Arduino quartz crystal is good for timing and would lose only about a couple seconds per day. Through this, the sketch presented in this book is teaching you how to “set the time” function.
On a completely different section of this work, you will also find how to actually display information on an LCD. Somewhere else in an early chapter, you will learn how to drive a relay with the Arduino board. Near the end, you may use a portion of code to send a message through the internet.
You may say to yourself: “Wow. they just enumerated a bunch of random capabilities of the Arduino”. And you could say that, but you should envision a bigger portrait.
With the help of this book, I could create a home automation system that will trigger lights, music and temperature control on a schedule and send me states of my sensors in an e-mail message. Great, right? That way, I could keep tracking of what’s going on into my house and with a small text command, I could turn on the lights when my guests arrive!
Actually, this is only a tiny example of what you may learn and cook with this book. This is even a smaller fraction of what the Arduino board is capable of.
With the help of the Arduino Cookbook, I just felt like I needed more than ever an Arduino Mega to achieve bigger and bigger project. If you are a “geek hacker” in your mind, you will enjoy the section on “using a Wii Nunchuck accelerometer” and even more this chapter on “how to display text on a TV“!
Arduino Mega – Our suggestion
Finally, is it for you?
This book is intended to speed up your learning of the Arduino line of products. It will help you design, combine and create all the circuits and projects you’ve been dreaming of, but couldn’t figure out how to. To be honest, I didn’t know the Arduino was capable of that much before taking a deeper look at this book. When the only limit is your mind, don’t waste time on searching recipes on the net, use the Arduino Cookbook and start crafting your dream today!

How does LoRa sensor works
Those sensors which are based on LoRa technology is known as a LoRa sensor. LoRa sensors have capabilities for geolocation, allows for low power consumption and long-range transmissions (typically more than 10 km). Hence, we can use these via timestamps from various gateways to triangulate positions of devices. LoRa sensors allow for long-range connectivity between devices to allow for an effective Internet of Things (IoT) implementation. This has applications across multiple industries.
How Does LoRa Sensor Send and Receive data
A LoRa network uses LoRaWAN protocol for sending and receiving data from LoRa sensors. LoRaWAN is a cloud-based media access control (MAC) layer protocol but acts mainly as a network layer protocol. We use LoRaWAN for managing communication between LoRa gateways and LoRa devices (nodes). It functions as a routing protocol and the LoRa Alliance maintains it. The first version of LoRaWAN was released in the year 2015.
LoRaWAN defines the system architecture and the communication protocol for the LoRa network. It allows for a secure and reliable long-range communication link. LoRaWAN also manages data rates, communication frequencies, and power optimization for all LoRa devices.
LoRa nodes in a LoRa network are based on asynchronous communication, and they start transmitting when they have data available to send. This enables a LoRa network to trade off sensitivity for data rate with a fixed channel bandwidth. It mainly involves selecting the amount of used spread (which is a selectable parameter between 7 and12). This spreading factor determines the sensitivity of a LoRa node and determines its data rate.
Data transmitted by a LoRa node is received by multiple LoRa gateways, which forward the received data packets to a centralized network server (IoT server). The IoT server filters out the duplicate packets, manages the network and performs security checks. The server then sends this data to the application modules, control panels, or connected smart devices. This way LoRaWAN protocol shows high reliability and accuracy for the moderate load.
Additionally, LoRa uses Forward Error Correction coding. This improves the LoRa network's resilience against any kind of high interference. The high range of a LoRa network is characterized by very high wireless link budgets, which are around 155 dB to 170 dB.

How to make LoRa Sensors?
We typically integrate LoRa sensors into IoT networks. The sensors which we mostly use with LoRa technology are,
DHT11
It is a basic temperature and humidity sensor.
Ultrasonic Sensor
We use this sensor for checking if there is an object in front of it.
Photosensitive sensor
We use this sensor for monitoring the ambient light.
Flame sensor
It detects the presence of fire or a flame.
Relay
We use this for controlling the power of a device.
Buzzer
We use this for alarming or warning nearby individuals.
LED
These are for showing the progress or status of any process.
A collection of these sensors when combined with a GPS module via a microcontroller (usually Arduino or Raspberry Pi), forms a LoRa Sensor.
How to use LoRa sensors?
Tumblr media
For using a LoRa sensor, we have to set up an effective LoRa Network. A typical LoRa network includes the following,
1. LoRa Node
A LoRa sensor, when embedded with wireless connectivity and LoRa protocol, then it forms a LoRa Node. A LoRa node collects the required sensor data and sends it over to the LoRa Gateway.
2. LoRa Gateway (LG01) A gateway is generally a device which we use for connecting various types of Network. LG01 is a LoRa Gateway which we use for bridging the LoRa wireless network and IP network. Its main features are,
a. It is the central point for forming a LoRa network.
b. Receives data from LoRa device (Node) in LoRa Network via LoRa wireless and sends it to IoT server in the IP network via
Wi-Fi
Ethernet
3G/4G etc.
c. Receives command from the IoT Server and sends it to LoRa device (Node).
3.IoT server
An IoT server is basically a cloud server that allows connectivity between various devices. It receives and stores data from multiple devices and allows access across multiple platforms. In the case of a LoRa network, the IoT server receives data from the LoRa Gateway and then stores it accordingly. This data can is then accessible from any smart device (A computer, laptop, mobile phone, or tablet, whichever is convenient).
When we want to scale the performance of LoRa sensors up or down or if we want to increase or decrease the range of their measurements, then the IoT server also allows for that. In this case, we send the commands from the control panel (any smart device) to the IoT server. The IoT server sends the command to the LoRa gateway, which in turn sends it to the Lora Node (device). The command is interpreted at the LoRa node, and the LoRa sensors follow it accordingly.
So, this is how we set up LoRa sensors within a LoRa network. A LoRa network can accommodate as many LoRa sensors as required.
Why Use LoRa Sensors?
LoRa technology, compared to other disruptive technologies, is not a promise of the future but is available today throughout the world. There are 600 known cases of deployment of LoRa technology in citywide IoT implementations, and this number is growing steadily. LoRa Technology Fills a Technological Gap
LoRa technology is revolutionizing IoT by using very little power and enabling data communication over a long-range. LoRaWAN fills the technology gap of Wi-Fi/BLE and cellular-based networks, which require either high power or high bandwidth and have the inability to penetrate shielded indoor environments or have a limited range. Hence, LoRa technology is efficient for usage in any indoor or rural settings.
      2. LoRa Technology Complements Other Technologies
LoRa technology operates in the unlicensed band like Wi-Fi and is very secure from end devices to the IoT server like Cellular. This makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. LoRaWAN protocol offers a flexible, economical, and efficient connectivity solution that is ideal for IoT applications, whether installed in private, public, or hybrid networks. LoRa sensor data can fuel analytics platforms that use machine learning and artificial intelligence. These technologies need data diversity, which is accommodated by LoRa sensors at a very low cost and power consumption.
      3. Global Network Availability
LoRa devices (nodes) operate on the LoRaWAN protocol, which is an open standard. It is backed by the LoRa Alliance, a nonprofit association that is promoting worldwide adoption of LoRa technology. The ecosystem of LoRa alliance has over 500 members, which include 100 public network operators with service offerings in more than 58 countries. LoRaWAN based networks are globally accessible and are available in more than 100 countries. Therefore, this existing and established infrastructure makes it more efficient and easier to immediately deploy LoRa based solutions.
     4. A Rapidly Growing Ecosystem
The ecosystem supporting LoRaWAN and LoRa includes a wide range of hardware manufacturers, service providers, network operators, software designers, universities, and industry associations. These play an integral role in creating devices, applications, and networks. The ecosystem is growing rapidly, and entities are adopting LoRa technology across multiple segments.

Alert-using-ThingSpeak+ESP32-Wireless-Temp- Humidity-Sensor
Story
Tumblr media
In this tutorial, we will measure different temperature and humidity data using Temp and humidity sensor. You will also learn how to send this data to ThingSpeak. So that you can create a temp alert in your mail at a particular value.
Hardware :
ESP-32: The ESP32 makes it easy to use the Arduino IDE and the Arduino Wire Language for IoT applications. This ESp32 IoT Module combines Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Bluetooth BLE for a variety of diverse applications. This module comes fully-equipped with 2 CPU cores that can be controlled and powered individually, and with an adjustable clock frequency of 80 MHz to 240 MHz. This ESP32 IoT WiFi BLE Module with Integrated USB is designed to fit in all ncd.io IoT products. Monitor sensors and control relays, FETs, PWM controllers, solenoids, valves, motors and much more from anywhere in the world using a web page or a dedicated server. We manufactured our own version of the ESP32 to fit into NCD IoT devices, offering more expansion options than any other device in the world! An integrated USB port allows easy programming of the ESP32. The ESP32 IoT WiFi BLE Module is an incredible platform for IoT application development. This ESP32 IoT WiFi BLE Module can be programmed using the Arduino IDE.
IoT Long Range Wireless Temperature And Humidity Sensor: Industrial Long Range Wireless Temperature Humidity Sensor. Grade with a Sensor Resolution of ±1.7%RH ±0.5° C.Up to 500,000 Transmissions from 2 AA Batteries.Measures -40°C to 125°C with Batteries that Survive these Ratings.Superior 2-Mile LOS Range & 28 miles with High-Gain Antennas.Interface to Raspberry Pi, Microsoft Azure, Arduino and More
Long-Range Wireless Mesh Modem with USB Interface
Software Used:
Arduino IDE
ThingSpeak
IFTTT
Library Used:
PubSubClient Library
Wire.h
Arduino Client for MQTT
This library provides a client for doing simple publish/subscribe messaging with a server that supports MQTT
For more information about MQTT, visit mqtt.org.
Wire.read()Receive 1 byte.
Uploading the code to ESP32 using Arduino IDE:
Before uploading the code you can view the working of this sensor at a given link.
Download and include the PubSubClient Library and Wire.h Library.
You must assign your API key, SSID (WiFi Name) and Password of the available network.
Compile and upload the Temp-ThinSpeak.ino code.
To verify the connectivity of the device and the data sent, open the serial monitor. If no response is seen, try unplugging your ESP32 and then plugging it again. Make sure the baud rate of the Serial monitor is set to the same one specified in your code 115200.
