Need of a business broker to buy or sell
A business broker is a person who liaises between buyers and sellers of private businesses. They are also known as intermediaries or business transfer agents. The business broker is also known as the agent of the principle, which refers to the real buyers and sellers. The main work of a business broker is to assist buyers and sellers in the sale of businesses, and this task branches out into many other responsibilities.
The Commercial Brokers Association of Washington is a professional business broker that represents the interests of commercial real estate brokers and industry professionals in the state of Washington. The CBA is based in Seattle and has members throughout the state.
A business broker is tasked with determining the value of the business that is to be sold or bought. They have all the necessary knowledge and expertise to come up with the MPSP valuation, or the most probable selling price valuation, of a business.
Buyers and sellers are not required to employ the services of business brokers, and a lot of buyers and sellers choose to use them. Business brokers are very helpful in that they relieve the buyer and seller of much of the stress of buying and selling a business.

Home prices could skyrocket in West Seattle after bridge reopening, experts say
Although the West Seattle real estate market increased by 10% during the years the bridge was shut, there were still no major losses. “It didn't actually fall," said Jeff Tucker, Zillow senior economist. "It just grew slower." West Seattle saw a growth rate of 10% during the bridge closure and pandemic, while some other areas in Seattle had an even higher increase of 13%. According to Tucker, although house prices have not lowered, the average home value in 98116 is still over $1 million. Although they were pleased to see that the bridge closure had no significant effect on the housing market, veteran real estate agents said they weren't entirely shocked. Sell My House Fast Seattle WA “West Seattle is still a little more affordable than Magnolia, Queen Anne, some of the other metro areas," said Mara Haveson, managing broker at Compass. "You get more for your money here -- maybe a view." Haveson, who has been a real estate agent in West Seattle for 24 years, said many of her clients used the bridge closure as an opportunity to upgrade their homes. Jeff Solomon, one of our clients, stated that he had above-asking prices on their first home in West Seattle within just a few blocks. “I was really shocked," Solomon said. "I would have expected it (the bridge closure) to be a deterrent for people." His family home now has a better view of Mt. Rainier, Seattle, and the West Seattle bridge. “We could see the staging area and the work being done, but we tried not to follow it because it was out of our hands," Solomon said. Tucker said that, traditionally, proximity to jobs is one of the most important factors in valuing a home. However, with more people working from home recently, that factor has become less important. He agrees that the overall impact on the real estate market has been minimal because many West Seattle residents were resistant to change. “If you could work from home or deal with the traffic, West Seattle also has amenities, quality of life and great schools which are also major factors in real estate,” Tucker said. It’s the reason Haveson said people like Solomon and his family made their investment in West Seattle. “The bridge closure is just a short-term thing," Haveson said. "It’s not forever, so if you could get into a house here now it’s going to continue to appreciate." The bridge's opening has jump-started the real estate market, according to experts. Home prices might rise as a result of this development. “I had so many people who are new to Seattle tell me they hadn’t even considered West Seattle before," Tucker said. "Those same people are looking at homes and now considering the neighborhood as an option."

Anything Else: Lucy has been in Africa working at the Namboze Clinic, but recently decided to quit after some missteps. She has just recently returned to Seattle to resume her fetal surgery fellowship.
BIO
Lucy grew up in Massachusetts to a moderately wealthy family. Her father, Arthur, was a lawyer and her mother, Anna, was a real estate agent. The beginning of her childhood was pretty happy. Average. Her older brother Christian and her fought a lot, which made them unruly children in their home.
When Lucy was 9, her mother became pregnant with her third child. Lucy was very excited to have a younger sibling, especially when they found out it would be a girl. Lucy longed to be an older sister so she would have someone to boss around (and also hopefully someone to idolize her). The pregnancy really brought the family together. That was, until, there were complications.
TW: infant loss, death
Around the seventh month of Anna’s pregnancy, she went into labor. Anna had an antepartum hemorrhage and became bleeding. Lucy was there with her brother when she was rushed to the hospital. There were complications during surgery, things Lucy didn’t understand at the time. Their father had rushed to the hospital from work, only in time to be told they hadn’t been able to revive Anna. APH had resulted in fetal hypoxia, and the baby was also unable to be saved. They mourned the loss of both, naming their lost daughter/sister Hazel.
Things really changed for their family following Anna and Hazel’s deaths. Arthur became much colder towards his children than he ever had before. He was extremely hard on Christian and Lucy, and it caused rifts in their relationships. Lucy even went away to a private high school to attempt to escape from it. The only person from her family she remained extremely close to was Christian. Lucy loved her brother, and what they experienced as children really helped to bring them closer together.
When Lucy decided she wanted to go into medicine, her mother was a large influence. She thought her father would be proud, but he was disappointed that she had not chosen the path he thought would be most suitable. Arthur preferred Lucy pressure a career in law, much like he did. Apparently, being a doctor wasn’t what he wanted and, therefore, it just wasn’t good enough.
Lucy attended Harvard Medical School and the went on to Duke to complete her residency. Her focus was in OB/GYN and fetal surgery. When the time came to choose a fellowship, she was wowed by the offerings of Seattle Grace Mercy West, specifically that Addison Montgomery (the doctor she wanted to model her career after) had previously worked there.
A little while into her fellowship, Lucy met Alex Karev. Lucy absolutely hated Alex at first. He had been wildly offensive and rude upon their first conversation. However, over time, he grew on her. She saw a softer side of him, and realized that some of the tougher parts of him acted as a defense mechanism. She began to engage in a relationship with him. Around the same time, Callie Torres got into her car accident, and Lucy failed to adequately help her and Sofia. It was a huge blow to Lucy’s confidence. She felt so embarrassed by admitting she was in over her head.
This influenced Lucy to start applying to other hospitals and seeing what was out there. She applied to Baylor and was upset when Alex didn’t ask her to stay. When she found out Alex was interested in the job in Africa, she didn’t even consider that it would be something she was interested in. However, as Alex spoke about it, she realized he was not setting aside opportunities. He was putting them first, ahead of their relationship. So, Lucy applied for the job and eded up stealing it out from underneath Alex. She regretted it almost immediately, seeing the hurt on his face, but it was too late. The opportunity was still great, and she had to go.
After a fem months away running the Namboze Clinic in Malawi, Lucy made the decision to return to Seattle to finish her fellowship. While in Africa, she didn’t fully feel present. It was as if she knew she had just been running away from the things that scared her. Her relationship. Her failures. Now back in Seattle, she had the very best teachers to learn from. However, she knew it would be difficult learning to navigate the hospital with how she left things with Alex and the other doctors at SGMW.

3 Things to Know Before Selling Your House Yourself
Sometimes selling a house through a real estate agent is not for everyone. Moreover, choosing to sell your house yourself have its own set of benefits, such as saving money.
Additionally, it is essential to keep in mind the following:
Selling your house does not only take putting a “For Sale” sign in your front yard. You have to advertise it through different media.
Be prepared to stage your home for open houses in order to showcase it for potential buyers.
Save some of your time to meet with those potential buyers in order to clear any doubts and finish the sale.
Furthermore, if after considering all of these you are still hesitant to sell your house for yourself, we recommend you contacting a property investment company who will buy your house directly and actually save you time in the process, while still providing a fair all-cash offer.
Stop the frustration of your unwanted property and get a solution fast. We buy houses in Seattle, WA, and surrounding areas, regardless of their condition.
