Relief
Words fail to express certain feelings Try as they might words fail to cover the emotional range of a human heart How would it feel like when you can finally draw a breath after holding your breath for far too long, How would it feel like when you are treated to delicious food after having starved for far too long How would it feel like when hope and light return to your life after being engulfed…

Rejoining the World: Reena's Exploration Challenge 126
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We are aked to write a post, using the theme of isolation, for Reena’s Exploration Challenge #126. Here is mine:
Isolation feels like safety to my hurting heart.
I just need to escape the inhumanity of others.
I stay nestled in my home, away from everyone,
From the harmful words they use, I take cover.
But, the price to pay for security is much too high,
As I miss the robin’s…

Pursuit of Heartbreak
It’s easy to pop a balloon, but not break the brick wall. My heart is now a conglomeration of bricks. With time, it got stronger and stronger and is getting more harder to break. But, I keep trying clinging on the rope of hope, creeping through subdued shadows, to break it someday. Yeah, you heard it right. I am in pursuit of an intentional heartbreak. How will it open until it is not broken?…

A Weird Feeling of Familiarity
Strolling down the streets of Paris years ago,
I felt like I had walked those streets before.
It was a weird feeling of deja vu like no other,
But I’d never visited this place I so adored.
The buildings seemed somehow very familiar,
And I could find my way easily to every place.
The electricity that seeped up from the streets
Stirred something in my heart as I slowed my pace.

Remembering ~ Deborah #writephoto

I remember the days of
a long time ago before
the world became so busy
living in the chaos of noise
back when people were content
reaching for the simplicity of
the matinal Light filling
their souls with a feeling of sacredness
