The more confidently certain Murderbot is that no bots have genders or any interest in sex or romance the less likely it sounds. Really? None of them?

Like how bot pilots can only communicate in images?

Or how a human could never really be friends with a bot?

Or how SecUnits are never friends with each other?

It keeps making these sweeping generalisations about things it doesn't have a lot of data outside of its own lived experience to support, and its experience is not universal.

At this point I would not be surprised if Iris hit MB in the face with the revelation that ART hates Holism because they were involved before Holism fucked around and left it for Sum Total.

I hc that SQH knew how to do a lot of random wack things because he did a lot of research or just had experience with things that never ended up in PIDW.

How to make a perfect bow? Yep, SQH got it covered.

How to make potions? SQH can make them all because he studied chemistry and biology in college.

He knows how to repair cars because he worked briefly at the mechanic shop so he could make xianxia cars (it didn't make the cut)

So when SQH gets trapped in a cave with some peak lords on a mission. He surprises them by being the most competent of them all. He may not be the best at fighting, but at least he knows how to start a fire and how to filter and gather water.

the funny thing about mr veils being most commonly drawn as a spectral bat is that real life spectrals are like. really sweet? sure they're extremely large exclusively carnivorous bats with insane jaw strength but they're one of only 18 bat species to not only be monogamous but have both parents actively take care of their babies. just look at this shit

So, the two of them get paired again as part of a project on budgeting. Both of them are from wealthy households, but Butsuma requires Tobirama justify any purchases he makes or pay with his own money. Meanwhile Izuna has never shopped for himself a day in his life.

They go to the supermarket to make a grocery list and Izuna just picks the most expensive of every food item because surely that means they're better quality.

Izuna: "How much could a banana be? 12?"

He's confused at why they need to factor in cleaning supplies because why can't they just use soap and water?

Hikaku ends up getting roped into the whole mess and is so done with the both of them. He didn't sign up for this. He is applying to the farthest possible university.

Meanwhile the project is being completely derailed. Izuna insists on having money budgeted for recreation so the three of them end up going around the city doing what amounts to various date activities - dragging Hikaku around to third wheel.

Now he could leave them and go do something productive with his time, but that runs the risk of the two of them realizing their own feelings for each other and the headache that would lead to.

Somehow, despite this, they keep having incredibly romantic moments together. They sing a karaoke duet. They share a single milkshake together (a second one was not in the budget). Tobirama holds Izuna's hands while they're out ice-skating.

Obviously they get full marks.

i think transfem headcanons are great and i in no way want to discourage them however i feel like i oftentimes see people headcanoning male characters as transfem purely to escape criticism for only being into male characters. also i think people forget that you can in fact headcanon canonically female characters as transfem too
