I love the scene in Network Effect where Secunit spends a full paragraph explaining that ART doesn't fight fair it goes right for the eyes it doesn't know what a minimum level of response is which it, Secunit, does know, because as a Secunit you have to make sure you don't accidentally murder a client,

I kinda get where ART's coming from if i was a hyperintelligent ship who had just been hijacked, had my squishy humans taken away from me, deleted, had a huge emotional fight with my bestie murdererbot who i only kidnapped a little (and its humans were fine!), finally had a plan in place to get my crew back and the stupid assholes who took my humans in the first place kidnapped my stupid gloomy bestie, AND i had missiles, i would also be like "FUCK IT I'M FUCKING BLOWING UP THE FUCKING PLANET"

Something I’ve noticed listening to Network Effect and System Collapse multiple times.

When Three jumps into the shuttle with MB it takes off rather brusquely to which Murderbots immediate thought is, “ART must be driving.”

Later on in System Collapse ART scares everyone, especially Ratthi and Barish-Estranza by purposefully accelerating towards the BE shuttle to “ram” it, getting way too close for comfort.

And thats not to mention the way it was flying through poorly mapped dark corridors not meant for aircraft its size. Avoiding obstacles to the point where poor Ratthi had a white knuckle grip on his chair.

I love these details because it suggests that ART, despite being a skilled bot pilot, is a downright scary pilot.

Also, the line seconds before feigning its attack on the BE shuttle—

“I wouldn’t recommend it. I lack a sense of proportional response. I don’t advise engaging with me on any level.”

Truly one of best parts of Artificial Condition is that ART embraces its new designation and introduces itself as Art to Tapan and the rest of the clients at the end of the book. There is no actual record of its official name in this book. To Murderbot it is only ART, the Asshole Research Transport. Perihelion who? No idea. Not important.
