ִֶָ casualties ↪ part two of mafia boss sukuna.
⋆ mdni. semi public ( public place but no people around ) unprotected sex, mentions of guns and bribes, keep in mind he is literally a gangster, none of his behaviors are ‘normal’, mirror sex, slight stalking ( sending people to investigate you ), breeding kink and creampies, pet names used: princess, doll, my girl/love, sweetheart.
Tumblr media
after your first encounter, it only took the man a flick of his wrist and your whole life was settled in a stack of papers on his coffee table, smirk tugging on the corner of his lip and a cigarette tightly held on his free hand. your address was the easiest part, with your father being an important member of the mafia, it was only normal for his men to get the direction in the blink of an eye, perfectly in time for Sukuna to start sending large bouquets of flowers with an unknown sender, although his scent was present on each petal, just for you to admire and your father to frown.
it was not too much work either to find your birthday, friends and places you often visit, after all you were a public figure as well, —that and a couple of bribes to your acquaintances it’s all it took.
the store of a luxury clothing brand stood in front of his car, tinted glasses concealing Sukuna’s half hooded eyes and knowing smirk, of course the princess would only shop at the most expensive places, perhaps using daddy’s black card. it’d be a lie if Sukuna said his cock didn’t throb at the idea of you using his black card next, to your heart’s content.
the pink haired man was not one to follow his impulses, to him everything was premeditated, carefully studied so things went smoothly like the fat wad of bills slipping into the retail’s clerk pocket, and much similar to the subtleness in his men’s loaded guns pressed against your bodyguards sides, who trembled in fear, so pathetic.
“tsk” Sukuna thinks, “i should get better guards for my girl” with a swift movement he fixes his cuffs, straightening the jacket suit and matching black half buttoned shirt underneath, allowing his tattoos to be seen.
and it takes his whole self control in not opening the dressing room door where he knows, you’re in, and sloppily make out with you, pants tightening at the memory of your fucked out and dizzy expression. fuck, he’s so hard already. but instead optes to sit on the large leather couch in the middle of the VIP space, his eyes scanning the quietness and luxury in ceiling high mirrors and marble floors.
“what are you doing here?” you ask, finally stepping out of from behind the wooden door and attempting not to let your surprise be seen, but considering the slight twitch in Sukuna’s lip, your attempts probably failed.
“it’s good to see you too, doll.” he almost purrs, eyes drifting up and down the sight of your body in a tight dress, “won’t you turn around for me?” he teases, licking his lips.
yet you remain still, raising a brow and crossing your arms, taking a peek at the now empty room.
“come on, sweetheart, just one turn, for me?” Sukuna grins, sliding a thumb over his bottom lip, “i’ll answer all your questions later” and you’re pliant enough to comply, twirling around with a slight burn in your face, questioning him once again.
his grin never falters, only increasing with your cute actions, deciding to stand up and calmly walk towards the clothing rack, humming in delight at the beautiful garments that would look absolutely stunning on his bedroom floor, “can’t a man shop freely now?” he teases, handing you a matching skirt and top set in an oddly similar color to his hair.
“yeah? i had no idea you liked to shop at an all women’s store” you tease back, allowing for Sukuna to rest his hand on your waist, his whole self made you weak in the knees, a whiff of his cologne and you wanted more.
he chuckles, deeply and rumbling on his chest, making you bite back a whine as his hand guides you to the dressing room, his voice dropping to an intimate level, yet he still bends down to breath against your ear, “then, would you believe me if I said I wanted to see you?” Sukuna whispers, pressing his lips against your nape; you’re not certain of what moment he made you get into the room and close the door softly behind him, only your reflection in the mirror bringing you back to reality, “you’re awfully hard to find, sweetheart” hands trail down your sides, squeezing the sides of your breasts just slightly, “has your daddy been keeping you away from me? did he find out about the lewd things I did to his precious daughter?”
you can’t help the soft moan off your lips at the sensation of the man’s bulge pressing on your lower back, the sight of his large, filled with rings and tattooed hands cupping your body made you dizzy, Sukuna having to bend down to easily nip on your nape, and gently brush your hair out of the way.
“he doesn’t know”
“he doesn’t?, that’s a pity, i’d love to see his reaction when he finds out i’m the one making you this wet and pliant” he chuckles, fingers dancing around the slit on the dress, so sensually your knees bucked, threatening to make you fall if it weren’t because of his arm around your waist.
you whine, “don’t... say that”
“it’s the truth, princess, there’s nothing else I want than having the world know you’re mine” Sukuna groans, raising the hem of your dress and maintaining it tightly under his arm, his other free hand gently cupping your jaw, tilting your head up so you meet his gaze through the mirror, “eyes on me, watch who’s making you feel this good”
with a last nibble on your neck, Sukuna roughly pushes your panties down, not wasting any time in sliding his digits through your drenched slit, coating your clit in your own scent. he’s rock hard at this point, breath coming out ragged in sheer desperation to be buried in your cunt, besides from the lewd picture you paint in the mirror, eyes glossy, lips parted and letting out the cutest sounds he has ever heard.
another trait of Sukuna, is that he’s not patient, in the slightest, so when a finger urgently slips inside your warm walls you shudder in response, hips bucking, almost flopping forward by the tremble in your legs, “good girl, so wet for me” he rasps, licking a fat strip down your neck and towards your shoulder, maintaining eye contact like his life depends on it.
“more...” you beg and his resolve crumbles, his initial plan of making you shiver and beg quickly by wanting to give you what you need, you make him go dizzy, you make him want to give you whoever you ask for, kiss the floor where you step.
“my greedy girl” Sukuna groans, rubbing his cheek with yours as another finger plunges in, messily fucking your hole that drips slick down his wrist, then another until your nails dig in his arm, “you’re ready for me, aren't you?” his voice is low and raspy, hidden lust behind each gasp. Sukuna is quick to undo his pants, cock bobbing in arousal, already dripping with precum as he guides the tip to your pussy, slowly sinking in with his breath hitching, “there we go”
if you weren’t looking at him, Sukuna would be very certain his rolls could have rolled back at the wetness and tightness of your cunt swallowing him inch by inch, his cock pulsing, “fuck, princess, it’s as good as I remember” he licks his lips, tightening his grip on your waist and slightly bending you further in the air.
“your body is begging for it, I can feel your count spasming around me” he smiles, thrusting in deeper, harder, making you take more of his incredible length until his heavy and full balls are nestled on your ass.
“’Kuna...!” you mewl, eyes hooded, threatening to fall shut but the explicit sight of Sukuna filling your hole made you resist, only fueling your desire and lust.
“yes, sweetheart, that’s right, it’s Sukuna the one making your pussy feel so good” he groans, hands grazing your sides in a tight grip before pulling back and forcefully slamming his cock inside, heart racing at the sound of your moans and sticky pussy squelching around his girth.
“o—ohh! fuck!” you moan, half scream at the rough pace Sukuna sets, forcing your body to jolt back and forth, tits about to fall from the low neckline of the expensive dress you tried on, you definitely had to buy it now, “too deep!
he groans in return, “the deeper the better” voice is slightly shaky, “i can reach your cervix properly” it’s a promise, to fill your fertile womb once again like he did weeks ago.
there’s sobs and moans echoing in the room, mixed with the sounds of your mixed juices, and Sukuna is only fueled by them, his hips pounding faster, most definitely leaving your ass sore from the brutal way his balls and hips slam against your soft skin. he holds no respect for your possible future uncomfortableness, only thinking of claiming your cunt.
“i’m close” Sukuna groans, sliding a hand between your drenched legs, pressing two fingers against your clit and messily rubbing in desperate circles, slightly embarrassed of the fact you’re going to make him cum so much and so soon, but how can you blame him when your pussy squeezes him like a tight grip, as if begging him for more.
leaning down he claims your lips, it’s as sloppy as his thrusts and wet as your slick dripping down his cock, “need you to cum with me” he murmurs.
“close!” you manage to cry out against his mouth, only for a brief second before his tongue plunges into your mouth again, swallowing your sounds but allowing the noise of your pussy to resonate, “oh, S-sukuna! i’m cumming” you cry, and there’s the precious and slutty expression he loves so much, eyes crossed as you shudder on his cock, trembling so much he would have been afraid you’d fall, but Sukuna is quicker, selfishly keeping you up to shoot his thick sperm deep in your willing pussy, a deep growl rumbling on the walls as he pumps you, a couple of times so he’s sure his cum would take.
“so gorgeous” he rasps, breathless, meeting your hazy eyes through the mirror while mindlessly rubbing your belly, “i’ll take care of you, my love, i’ll give you whatever your heart desires..., but in return, I just ask for one thing” he murmurs, “let me creampie your tight pussy every single day.”
that’s certainly Sukuna’s own way of asking you out.

YOHJI YAMAMOTO DEFINES HIS FASHION FASHION PHILOSOPHY
John Duka for the NYT, Oct. 23 1983
Yohji Yamamoto may stand barely five feet tall, but his effect on world fashion in the last two years has been enormous. Many people at the recent Paris showings said he is the best of the new Japanese designers - a distinguished group that includes Rei Kawakubo for Comme des Garçons, Issey Miyake and Kansai Yamamoto (no relation). Some say he is the best anywhere. His fans use his first name when they discuss his clothes, a sure sign that a designer has arrived. Fashion experts and retailers are often inclined to exaggerate, but Mr. Yamamoto's influence is hard to dispute.
''When I started designing clothes 12 years ago, I knew there were two ways,'' Mr. Yamamoto, who is 40 years old, said in an interview. ''The first is to work with formal, classical shapes. The other way is to be very casual. That's what I decided on, but I wanted a new kind of casual sportswear that could have the same status as formal clothing. So I use fabrics that are heavy-duty, like army fabrics, or just look heavy-duty, to give the kimono shape a new energy.'' He spoke in English as he sat in his spare white and black showroom near the Les Halles district of Paris. The room, cavernous and brightly lighted, was filled with buyers, trying clothes on from his spring collection.
Loosening the Silhouette
What Mr. Yamamoto and the other Japanese designers have accomplished is a general loosening of the female silhouette. This they have done with large, loose-fitting garments, such as jackets with no traditional construction and a minimum of detail or buttons; dresses that often have a straight, simple shape, and large coats with sweepingly oversized proportions. In general, there is a generosity of proportion and size, often with the kimono as a starting point of design, and fabrics that range from fresh cottons to robust linens to heavy wools. All of this came at a time when women's clothes by most traditional designers were moving in the opposite direction, toward a snugger fit and formality.
For fall, one of Mr. Yamamoto's most successful coats is made of a pressed wool in mustard and brown that has the look of great weight but is as light as a raincoat and has no definable shape, except perhaps a generic coat shape. Worn with simple Western day clothes, a pair of black trousers, a black shirt and black heels, it is one of the chicquer designs this season. Moreover, it can be worn during the day or at night.
It is also a good example of the flexibility of Mr. Yamamoto's clothes because it shows that they work best when they are mixed with Western clothing. When the new clothing from Japan is worn on the street in exactly the same way it is shown on the runway, the result often becomes a shapeless heap of fabric. Mr. Yamamoto is aware of that problem.
''I've become very nervous myself about the volume of the Japanese clothing and the kimono shape, so loose and oversized,'' he said. ''If you go too far with a kimono, the final conclusion is just fabric. That is not fashion. The kimono is easy to copy but difficult to make work. It must be done in a technical way, or it becomes sloppy, too big and too baggy. That is why my new collection has shapes that are narrower. I wrapped the body very tight.''
Mr. Yamamoto also continues to break new ground with his men's clothes. His men's spring collection, for example, has sports jackets, in navy or black, that are loose-fitting, with generous, rounded shoulders and gored backs. They are made of 90 percent cotton and 10 percent polyurethane and, as a result, have the stretch of running clothes. There are ankle- length classic trench coats, in tan or black cottons, with shoulders extended by tailoring, not padding. The trousers, some with elastic waists, are loose-fitting. And there are black cotton pullover shirts with zip collars. What strikes one about Mr. Yamamoto's men's clothes is that they would work as well on women.
Men's Shirts, Women's Skirts
A number of women have, in fact, been buying Mr. Yamamoto's men's clothes in New York at the Charivari Workshop, Columbus Avenue at West 81st Street. According to Jon Weiser, who will be adding a 1,900-square-foot Yohji Yamamoto boutique to his next Charivari store, scheduled to open this fall on West 57th Street, women shop the Yamamoto line in his store by moving back and forth between the men's and women's sections, mixing men's shirts with women's skirts.
''I think that my men's clothes look as good on women as my women's clothing,'' said Mr. Yamamoto. ''And more and more women are buying my men's clothes. It's happening everywhere, and not just with my clothes. Men's clothing is more pure in design. It's more simple and has no decoration. Women want that. When I started designing, I wanted to make men's clothes for women. But there were no buyers for it. Now there are. I always wonder who decided that there should be a difference in the clothes of men and women. Perhaps men decided this.''
In the United States and Europe, Mr. Yamamoto's clothing is bought primarily by professionals, largely because of its cost. A blazer usually sells for around $500. But in Japan his biggest fans are students.
''I am designing for my generation,'' he said, ''but in Japan people are very much seeking the old way of life again. Sexual differentiation in clothing is more important. My major customers there are still the unversity students. My generation isn't ready for me yet. They think Yohji is not fashionable enough for them. They will see.''

The Couture Bridal Fantasy
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On her wedding day, it is every bride's dream to feel the most beautiful that she has ever felt in her lifetime. And sometimes, to feel like your most beautiful self, one has to step outside of the conventional and into the fantastical. Dropped waists and "angelic silhouettes" were identified by Brides magazine as trends spotted during the New York Bridal Fashion week this year, harkening back to the ideas of the historical and the fantastic. Three couture bridal companies: Cinq, Danielle Frankel, and Nicole + Felicia, are exploring the collaboration of the historical and the fantastic with their breathtaking and groundbreaking Spring 2025 Bridal Collections, displayed earlier this month at New York Bridal Fashion Week.
The first image is from Nicole + Felicia's Spring 2025 collection, which has the overarching theme "Wonderland" to encompass the wonder and magic of a bride's wedding day, while also making a callback to the "Alice in Wonderland" book series, about a young girl who enters a world of absurd fantasy. Nicole + Felecia, a sister-owned brand, is most well-known for making couture gowns for celebrities, including ballgowns for Taylor Swift's "Eras" tour and red carpet looks for Jennifer Lopez and Janelle Monáe, though they have been designing bridal collections since 2018. This look, labeled simply as "Look 4" features a dramatic ballgown silhouette and detachable leg-of-mutton sleeves. These details invoke the past while also creating a sense of modernity alongside the fantastical with the ultra-deep v neckline, creating balance and yes, wonder.
Danielle Frankel's bridal wear has exploded in popularity since opening launching her brand in 2017, being worn by celebrities such as Julia Garner, Alexandria Daddario and AnnaSophia Robb. According to a Vouge Australia article from October 2022, the brand has become the "go-to for cool girl brides" and the "Cora" look pictured above exudes the "cool girl" aesthetic, with a "draped soft tulle bodice with swagged sleeve and hand painted floral illusion tulle overlay" the modern and the fantastical are balanced here in an unexpected and exciting way, a treat for the bride who wants to indulge in the fantastical and unconventional. There is something Grecian about many of Frankel's looks, and the "Cora" is no exception, with the column-esque silhouette and intentional draping reflecting a respect for fashion history while also playing around with modern elements. The exposed midriff and pants that this look comes with push the boundaries of what bridal wear can be.
Cinq's fourth collection (stylized as IV) had a truly breathtaking presentation at New York Bridal Fashion Week, inviting guests into an intimate dinner party setting for their fashion show, and allowing them to indulge in the fantasy of their new collection. From the home page of their website, the brand identifies their philosophy: "For centuries human beings have taken part in rituals, marriage being one of the most sacred and coveted. Cinq was created for the bride that connects on an emotional level to her gown, it’s not just the dress .. it’s a precious, fleeting moment in time.. it’s the feeling when she’s wearing it.. it’s the moment of reflection. The Cinq bride emanates a unique progressive nostalgia combining vintage silhouettes with modern details. Dressed in a garment that stands as an ode to the past poised for the future - detailed to cast a moment into memory, for her."
Overall, it's clear from these stunning looks that the modern couture bride wants to indulge in her fantasies when shopping for her dress. However, be warned, these looks will cost the bride (or whoever is paying for the dress) a pretty penny. "Cora" retails for just under 6 thousand (one of the less pricey Danielle Frankel gowns), with Nicole + Felicia and Cinq gowns coming in at around similar price points. However, these are prices that many brides are willing to pay in order to get to live out their own personal fantasies on the day of their wedding, a day that is often regarded in our collective mindset as a day that should be full of magic, romance, and whimsy, all of which can be elevated by the "perfect" dress choice.

BUILDING MY LEGACY WARDROBEA JOURNEY OF PATIENCE AND STYLE
Hey there, gents! Today, I want to take you on a journey through my personal style evolution and how I crafted what I like to call my “legacy wardrobe.” It’s been a labor of love, a testament to patience, and a deep exploration of craftsmanship and timeless style. So, let’s dive right in.
The Foundation: Learning About Garments Building a wardrobe that stands the test of time requires a solid foundation. I knew from the get-go that I needed to educate myself about materials and construction. You see, great style isn’t just about the way a garment looks; it’s about how it’s made. So, I immersed myself in the world of fabrics, stitching techniques, and tailoring.
Tumblr media
Understanding the difference between a high-quality garment and a run-of-the-mill piece was crucial. I delved into the intricacies of fabric compositions, learning to appreciate the luxury of cashmere, the durability of merino wool, and the timeless elegance of silk. This knowledge became my compass in navigating the vast world of menswear.
Defining My Style: Luxury Business Casual in Neutrals After the research phase, I needed to discover my own personal style. It’s not just about what’s in vogue; it’s about what makes you feel confident and comfortable. I found my sweet spot in a style that I call “luxury business casual,” characterized by clean lines, impeccable tailoring, and a refined yet relaxed aesthetic. It allows me to wear the same outfit with a pair of split-toe derbys or a pair of suede sneakers.
Tumblr media
Neutral colors became the cornerstone of my wardrobe. Black, white, and gray with shades of brown and camel dominated my color palette. These hues exude sophistication and versatility, allowing me to mix and match effortlessly. I wanted a closet where I could get dressed in the dark, knowing that everything would harmonize perfectly.
The Art of the Hunt: Discounts and Deals Back in my younger days, I worked in retail, and it was during this time that I learned the art of the hunt. I discovered the incredible discounts that could be unlocked with just a bit of patience and timing. This skill became invaluable as I embarked on my journey to assemble a wardrobe of luxury items from esteemed brands like Loro Piana, Brunello Cuccinelli, Kiton, Tom Ford, Edward Green, John Lobb, and many more.

It’s not about breaking the bank; it’s about making strategic investments in pieces that will last a lifetime. These deals allowed me to build a wardrobe that reflects my style without the heavy price tag.
Sharing the Shortcut: My Legacy Wardrobe Unveiled With this New Year, I hope to reveal the shortcut I took to finally get here. I want to share my journey, the lessons I’ve learned, and the secrets I’ve uncovered to help you build your own legacy wardrobe. It’s about quality over quantity, timelessness over trends, and confidence over conformity.

Romwe x Corpse Bride: A Critical & possibly hypocritical review.
This review will be fast fashion negative, while giving credit to artistic aesthetics. I own some of the items mentioned (some of which, I regret).
A summary of my opinion: most of it is crap.
This is kind of becoming a series, with my previous Hello Kitty and Friends x Forever 21 review
Disclaimer: I do not like Tim Burton. I like a lot of his media (The Corpse Bride, Wednesday, Frankenwinie, etc.) but I do not agree with his attitudes (most notably towards POC inclusion).
If any Shien apologists come my way I will simply block them. This post is not about "is it ok to order from Shien ever?" Or about the accessibility of fashion or anything like that. Maybe I'm a future post, but for now, go read someone else's opinion piece about it
Why did I order this stuff?
The answer is very simple: Nostalgia and scarcity mindset. I've loved the Corpse Bride ever since I was younger. I owned the DVD and watched it more times than I can count. Additionally, I doubt that there will ever be any other affordable clothing collaborations with the Corpse Bride, at least, not for another while. But please send me other Corpse Bride official and unofficial collaborations if you see any. I'll put a little 🌠 next to anything I bought. Note: I may not include everything I bought from the Collab just because I may not have the strongest opinions on that particular garment or my other arguments may better explain.
What did I like?
The general aesthetics. Motifs of the flowers, butterflies, swirls, skeletons, colour pallets. I liked it all! Was it well executed? No. A lot of the patterns weren't done justice (as seen in the review photos)
The stock images were STUNNING. Which is the point, but still credit where it's due.
It appealed to my nostalgia. I think it was lazy, but it certainly did warm my inner baby bat heart.
Onto specifics. This capette
Tumblr media
This capette is fun! I love a good capette! There's obvious flaws like how randomly the little pictures are chosen and I feel the white and black is just a little too high contrast, maybe black and light blue would have worked better?
5. This Graphic T. 🌠
Tumblr media
I love this design so much I bought one in the black colour way too. Do I stand by that decision? Not entirely. But as a long-term Corpse Bride fan I feel that I will appreciate them for a very very long term.
6. The Legwarmers 🌠
Tumblr media
They did these legwarmers so dirty! As seen in the stock images, the ends are rolling up! I need to reinforce them with my own hidden ribbing and also gently steam them. You may also note that those butterflies are PRINTED ON and it's pretty bad IRL.
7. jeans (?)
Tumblr media
But if you see a pair of boring jeans in a charity shop that fit well, why not bring them home and customise them with paint, bleach, trims, embroidery or patches? Remind me to write a post on DIY jean ideas. Anyway, could be fun to browse Shien and Pinterest and steal their ideas! Maybe invite some friends and have some snacks and make it 'a little get together'?
I'm stealing the print of these jeans. A reoccurring hot take of mine is that I hate that EVERYWHERE sells jeans. Go into any high street retailer and they have a WHOLE SELECTION of jeans. From skinny to bootcut to mom to boyfriend to ripped and in black, acid wash, proper denim, super light blue and sometimes white. it's all far too much (in my opinion).
The reason why I feature the "?" in the title is because I don't really see jeans as very Corpse Bride, seems more fairy grunge (I've discussed fairy grunge lightly in the past but I do hope to make a longer opinion post about it)
General dislikes
106 listings. Why SO many graphic t-shirts? I need to count the specifics because there's just too many. And I counted roughly 24 hoodies/sweatshirts (given, there could be duplicates of the plus size and straight sizes) but my point remains. Why is there 106 listings?
Excessive reuse of certain designs and many of the designs are really similar.
No collection of that many pieces could ever be of decent quality or with a lot of thought and the proof is in the pudding (the garments). It simply isn't. Typical Shien. Bare basics stitching, low quality materials, etc.
Polyester for undergarments. Cotton, bamboo and hemp are just far superior fabrics for underwear and socks! I can't imagine polyester is good for the health of external private areas.
Tumblr media
Objectively these are cute, but I have recently truly understood how dangerous synthetic materials can be especially for private areas.
I will be referencing this print in my future customised clothing.
Future post idea: Cotton vs. Polyester
At some point in the future, I do intend on posting more information about cotton/natural fibers vs. polyester. Including resources that further discuss the oppression of the Uyghur Muslims, modern cotton slavery, the mistreatment of garment workers. Then also, the production and manufacturing process on various fibers and their quality. Additionally, a bit about micro plastics and our clothes.
Most of it will just be directly referencing and providing information from creators who are more knowledgeable on the topic with minimal opinions and input from me, though there will be a sequel post that includes my opinions and a reflection on how I navigate the topic.
If anyone has any links and resources on that topic let me know!
Thanks for reading!

The Transformation of "Hate" T-Shirts into Symbols of Love and Understanding
In a world often divided by differences, clothing can be a powerful medium for expression. This article explores the journey of transforming "Hate" T-shirts, initially designed to propagate negative messages, into tools for promoting love, understanding, and acceptance.
Tumblr media
The Origin of Hate T-Shirts
"Hate" T-shirts, characterized by messages of intolerance and division, have historically been used to propagate negative sentiments. These garments often bear symbols or slogans that demean certain groups or ideologies. However, their existence has sparked crucial conversations about the impact of clothing on societal attitudes.
The Power of Clothing in Cultural Dialogue
Clothing is not just a fashion statement; it's a form of non-verbal communication that can influence perceptions and attitudes. A T-shirt bearing a message has the power to start conversations, challenge beliefs, and even alter perceptions. This is where the potential for transformation lies.
Transforming Hate into Love
Activists and designers have begun to repurpose these T-shirts, turning messages of hate into love. This transformation involves:
Redesigning Symbols: Altering hateful symbols or slogans to represent love, unity, and acceptance.
Educational Campaigns: Using these redesigned T-shirts as educational tools in workshops and seminars to discuss hate speech's impact.
Public Awareness: Wearing these T-shirts in public spaces to promote messages of love and to encourage dialogue about tolerance and understanding.
Case Studies
Several initiatives have successfully transformed hate into love. For example, a campaign took symbols of hate and reworked them with floral patterns and inclusive messages. Another project involved printing hateful messages but crossing them out and replacing them with positive ones, visually demonstrating the rejection of hate.
The Role of Social Media
Social media has been instrumental in spreading this movement. People share their redesigned T-shirts, inspiring others to join the cause. These platforms have become digital arenas for promoting love and combating hate.
Challenges and Criticisms
While the intention is positive, these efforts face challenges. Some argue that repurposing hate symbols can inadvertently give them more visibility. Others believe that the focus should be on creating entirely new symbols of love rather than altering negative ones.
Tumblr media
Conclusion
The transformation of "Hate" T-shirts into symbols of love and understanding is a poignant example of how fashion can be used to influence societal change. It highlights the need for ongoing dialogue, creative expression, and collective efforts in combatting hate. This movement is not just about changing a T-shirt's design; it's about reshaping the narrative from division to unity, demonstrating the profound impact that even a simple garment can have in our journey towards a more loving and understanding society. Fiorucci Vs Diesel Strategy
an excerpt.
Fiorucci
Fiorucci’s marketing reflects their target demographic, who is your average person, and that is to say that it’s not very different or unique from other brands like them.
Fiorucci’s marketing budget seems to be pretty small. In the You Will Be With Us In Paradise documentary the Schaffers were discussing Charli XCX who was attending their launch party, and how they hoped that she would have an impromptu performance as they couldn’t afford to pay her (not online but just to illustrate how they don’t have a huge budget).
They mostly rely on sending PR packages to influencers and seem to be resigned to only working with C-list celebrities. The people they choose to promote the brand range from completely basic to slightly edgy).
This actually might not be a huge problem as it portrays a more relatable image that fits their products. Their clothing is for people who might not want to stand out and are just wearing the clothes casually, and they might not even follow celebrities that closely, especially considering they have older customers as well.
Their visuals represent the brand, they are colourful and fun. The casting is conventionally attractive but ordinary-looking people, the styling is trendy but is very wearable and easy to replicate by the average person.
Their marketing might be more typical compared to Diesel but they show their products well and it is effective in attracting their desired customer.
They are a fast fashion company, so they are in the business of large volumes and big numbers. There is more of a focus on selling rather than building a brand image. Their Instagram constantly pushes products, posting multiple stories of their garments every single day.
Instead of marketing, they focus on making the purchasing process as painless and easy as possible for the customer.
Even though they do not employ any wild marketing strategies or especially unique touchpoints, the modern Fiorucci customer isn’t looking for something radically different, so their strategy fits their target audience.
Diesel
Diesel’s main strategy is focused on elevating its brand image, so they spend a lot of money on marketing and improving its designs, and its marketing is focused more on curating a vibe, an image for consumers to aspire to, rather than pushing products.
Despite spending money and effort on marketing and design they do not put the same amount of thought into their website and it shows. It’s practically impossible to find any items in stock to purchase, with no filtering system to distinguish them. The website is cluttered, disorganized, and feels like a maze. It would be much more beneficial to put more effort into proving their user interface and utilise their budget better.
In spite of having a virtually unusable website, they are able to survive probably through 3rd party retailers like SSENSE and Farfetch. These sites come with a built-in customer base who are already familiar with the interface. SSENSE in particular has a younger audience (https://www.nytimes.com/2021/11/23/style/the-sensibility-of-ssense.html), which is very in line with Diesel.
However, it is still more beneficial to make sales through their own website as they don’t have to pay commission, they are able to provide a more unique customer journey and they can get more information like user data and analytics. They could also sell on both their own website (after fixing it) and third-party platforms.
A lot of the hype around the brand has been generated through social media, with fashion commentators gaining thousands of likes singing praises for Glenn Marten’s designs, and everyone and their mother posing for pictures with the viral Diesel logo bag.
However, attitudes have changed after scathing reviews on the quality (or lack thereof) of the clothing. Some people even express that AliExpress knockoffs have better quality than the authentic product (eg. comments of https://vt.tiktok.com/ZS8PRvLSJ/). It does not seem to have dramatically impacted the brand so far and there will always be uneducated consumers, but if the problem persists this will likely have a large negative impact on the brand and will hinder them from making more sales.
This is especially detrimental to cultivating brand loyalty. Although Diesel is very popular at the moment, its future is still uncertain and it might not stand the test of time. Diesel is no longer the established and trusted brand it once was, and if they want to rebuild their reputation to move beyond being just a trendy brand they will need to fix issues like quality.
Diesel seems to have a pretty huge marketing budget, being able to hire an in-demand designer and being able to afford to send Kanye 100k worth of clothing (and presumably even more as a marketing fee) for a few pictures. Using celebrity endorsements helps  increase the desirability of the brand.
They sell to the young, trendy, and fashionable, so their customer cares a lot about how they will appear as a person wearing Diesel. The Diesel customer wants to stand out, they want to be fashion forward. So, Diesel portrays themselves as new and fresh, with innovative and artsy campaigns that captures a unique, youthful spirit. They stand out from other brands.
Diesel’s bread-and-butter is its designs that are at the end of the day done very well, and although marketing is important it’s only as successful as the designs are good.
The brand’s success speaks for itself. Even though their brand experience for enter to extend is not up to par, Diesel proves that in the end, if they can get the customer to buy into the brand and get to the website, they have succeeded.
However, even if Diesel is undoubtedly bigger than Fiorucci, it’s still the worse example because it has potential to be much better with relatively easy-to-fix problems, while Fiorucci, without a big name creative designer or money to burn on marketing, manages to make a lot out of the little they have.

Nice Model
While our initial reactions to AI-generated text have been mixed at best, ranging from concerns about accurate writing to fears among academics that they might be duped by machine-written papers, it is now proving possible that AI can be used for good.
Of course, we can still use our ChatGPT and Bard to write thank you notes and cover letters. But now, we can also leverage AI’s strengths with images that have been customized by users themselves. Levi’s is among the first to use AI to supplement the use of human clothing models, and instead rely on machine-generated images tweaked by users themselves.

And if I were a model, I would be scared right about now, too. This could displace a lot of primping, posing, and strutting people.
Levi’s latest effort allows users to effectively build their own model online so that it best resembles them, from skin tone to body type, and myriad other variables. You thus get to see clothing visually displayed on a “model” that more closely resembles you.

Tumblr media
There are other considerations as well, most notably Levi’s commitment to DEI, which stands for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. While it has long been possible to accuse companies of biases in their use of models, now you can make your own. Talk about inclusivity! While there are state governors spending sleepless nights trying to figure out how to dismantle DEI initiatives, along comes a company announcing its intent to swim upstream.

Furthermore, Levi’s sees AI models as contributing to their sustainability commitment as well. Simply put, AI demands fewer resources, and once the online shopping experience is over, the avatar can vanish. What is uncertain at this time is whether your personal avatar can be stored for later use, so you don’t have to re-create it.

Levi’s has partnered with Lalaland.ai of Amsterdam to create the new AI models. Lalaland.ai is a digital fashion studio, and their work is so good that it is difficult to pick the AI model from the real one. Take a look at the photo comparing the two, and try to pick the AI. Good luck. I’ll let you know the answer at the end.
Selling clothing online has always been a challenge, because fit is a critical issue. While AI models do not solve all of the problems, it goes a long way toward helping answer the age-old question, “What will this look like on me?”

Companies have tried their hand at virtual models for much of this century, but with little success. Just last September, Walmart announced it was launching Virtual Try-On whereby customers could upload a photo of themselves, and then garments would be superimposed upon them.

Join me in saying, “Eeeew. This sounds creepy!” I would not want to do that. Walmart does not need a visual of me. There are plenty of photos of me on the interwebs, and if Walmart really wanted to see what I look like, they could just Google it. Never mind that I don’t buy much beyond groceries at Walmart, I would not be willing to do this. And that goes for any other retailer. You may as well put cameras inside fitting rooms.
As long as customers are comfortable manipulating the AI engine to create their own avatars, this is likely to fly. The push to achieve DEI goals is laudable. And when it comes to sustainability, this will do more than just go light on resources. It will save money in the long-run. Models aren’t cheap, nor are the photographers who shoot the photos and videos.

I suspect we are just on the cusp of where this AI thing will take us. We only thought—a few months ago, mind you—that this would be the end of us all. This is a model I can live with.

In this article, Global Photo Edit leading Online Jewelry Photo Editing Service, will take a look at the top five trends in jewelry, so you can stay ahead when it blow in to your own eCommerce business.
Oversized and statement pieces with layering
Bigger is better when it comes to jewellery. Statement pieces that have a bold impact are very popular, especially when they can be worn multiple ways.
Layering different pieces of jewelry is a great way to create a unique look. It also allows you to mix and match different metals, textures and styles. As consumers become more aware of the impact their purchasing choices have on the environment, they are increasingly seeking ethical and sustainable alternatives.
This is especially true for jewelry, which often uses materials mined from the earth. Many online jewelers now offer ethical and sustainable jewelry made from responsible or recycled materials.
Mixed metals instead of only gold
Gone are the days when you had to stick to one type of metal. Now it's all about mixing and matching particular metals for a more eclectic look. There is a growing trend towards personalized jewellery, with customers wanting jewelery that is unique and personal to them.
Online jewelers are responding to this demand by offering more and more customization options, from choosing your own gemstones to designing your own engagement ring.
Personalized pieces
Personalized jewelry is always a hit, whether it's engraved with a special message or contains birthstones or other personal details. Sometimes less is more, especially when it comes to delicate, everyday garments. Simple designs with a minimalist aesthetic are very attractive right now.
Customers want products that are unique to them and that reflect their personal style. Many online jewelers now offer customization options, allowing customers to create their own unique piece of jewelry.
Online jewellery purchase
With the growing popularity of jewelry selling websites, there is a growing demand for photo editing services that can make jewelry look more attractive in photos. This is especially true for Indian customers, who are often skeptical about buying jewelry by sight. Professional Online Jewellery Photo Editing Services can help increase the chances of a sale by making the jewellery look its best.
Touch and feel
Style and fashion are personal choices, but there are certain trends that stand out in the online jewelry market. When it comes to buying jewelry online, customers want to be able to touch and feel the products before making a purchase.
That's why many online jewelry retailers now offer "try before you buy" services. Customers can request a sample of the product they’re interested in and try it on at home before making a decision.
Social media marketing
This trend is being fueled by the growing popularity of social media. Customers are now more likely to catch new brands and products through social media than through traditional advertising. As a result, they are also more likely to trust recommendations from friends and influencers than the brands themselves.
Another trend that’s being driven by social media is the rise of “flash sales”. These are short-term sales events, often just 24 hours, where jewelers offer deep discounts on their wares. Flash sales are a great way to create a sense of urgency and increase sales.
Final Word
If you’re in the jewellery market, it's time to follow the images on websites, contact Global Photo Edit, Online Jewellery Photo Editing Services.se trends. If you're not selling jewelry online yet, it's time to switch from offline to online or combo mode. What is the best clothing brand?
Tumblr media
In today’s fashion landscape, choosing the "best" clothing brand is subjective, shaped by personal preferences, lifestyle, and values. The best clothing brands aren’t simply about luxury or trendiness but encompass a blend of quality, style, sustainability, and ethical production practices. Whether you’re a fashion enthusiast, a professional looking to invest in wardrobe staples, or a conscious consumer, identifying the best brand for you requires careful consideration.
1. Defining the Best Clothing Brand
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question. What makes a brand the best for one person may not work for another. Here are some key factors to evaluate when choosing the right brand for your wardrobe:
Quality and Durability: Clothing that stands the test of time is crucial. Investing in well-made garments crafted from durable fabrics often ensures longevity, saving money in the long run.
Design and Aesthetic: The best brand for you should align with your personal style and aesthetic preferences. Some brands are known for timeless, minimalist designs, while others focus on bold, statement pieces.
Sustainability and Ethical Practices: As more consumers become eco-conscious, many are gravitating toward brands that prioritize sustainability, use organic materials, and ensure fair labor practices.
Affordability: Price is a major factor for many shoppers. Finding a brand that offers high quality at a reasonable price can make it the top choice.
2. Top Clothing Brands Worth Considering
Here are a few clothing brands that have made a significant impact in the fashion world and could be considered "the best" based on various factors like quality, design, and sustainability.
1. Patagonia
Why It’s Considered One of the Best: Known for its environmental activism and commitment to sustainability, Patagonia has become a leader in eco-friendly fashion. The brand produces high-quality outdoor clothing and gear, emphasizing the use of recycled materials and ethical production processes. Its transparency and dedication to reducing environmental impact make it a favorite among conscious consumers.
2. Gucci
Why It’s Considered One of the Best: Gucci, an iconic luxury brand, has long been synonymous with high fashion. Known for its bold designs, craftsmanship, and Italian heritage, Gucci is a symbol of style and status. The brand has recently adopted more sustainable practices, focusing on eco-conscious collections, which adds to its appeal in the modern market.
3. Uniqlo
Why It’s Considered One of the Best: For those seeking high-quality, affordable basics, Uniqlo is a go-to brand. The Japanese retailer is renowned for its innovation in fabric technology (like Heattech and AIRism) and for offering simple, minimalist designs that work for all occasions. Uniqlo emphasizes functionality and durability while maintaining an accessible price point.
4. Stella McCartney
Why It’s Considered One of the Best: Stella McCartney is celebrated for blending high fashion with sustainable practices. The brand is cruelty-free and uses organic and recycled materials, setting the bar for luxury fashion with an ethical edge. For fashion-conscious consumers who want to support environmentally responsible brands, Stella McCartney is a top choice.
5. Nike
Why It’s Considered One of the Best: Nike is more than just a sportswear brand. Its influence spans culture, fashion, and innovation. Known for creating cutting-edge athletic gear, Nike’s commitment to sustainability through its Move to Zero initiative is transforming the way consumers view performance wear. Combining fashion-forward designs with functionality and a focus on reducing environmental impact makes Nike a powerhouse in both fitness and lifestyle markets.
3. Key Considerations When Choosing Your Clothing Brand
Here’s what to keep in mind when selecting the best clothing brand for your needs:
A. Personal Style
What kind of clothing makes you feel confident and authentic? If you lean toward a classic, minimalist style, brands like Everlane or Uniqlo might be a perfect fit. For a more high-end, eclectic look, Gucci or Prada could be more your speed.
B. Budget
While luxury brands offer premium quality and craftsmanship, you don’t always have to spend a fortune to find great clothing. Mid-range brands like Zara, H&M, or COS provide stylish and trendy options at a more accessible price point. The best clothing brand for you should align with your budget without compromising on quality.
C. Sustainability
More consumers are looking for eco-conscious brands that minimize environmental impact. Brands like Patagonia, Stella McCartney, and Reformation are leading the charge in sustainable fashion, using ethical labor practices and environmentally friendly materials.
D. Versatility
The best clothing brands offer pieces that transition seamlessly between different settings. Whether you're dressing for the office, casual outings, or a formal event, versatile items from brands like Ralph Lauren, J.Crew, or Banana Republic can offer a mix of professionalism and comfort.
4. Conclusion: What is the Best Clothing Brand for You?
Ultimately, the "best" clothing brand is a personal decision. It’s about finding the perfect balance between quality, style, sustainability, and affordability. Whether you're drawn to luxury labels, eco-conscious brands, or affordable fashion, the key is to choose brands that align with your values and lifestyle. As consumer demand shifts toward sustainability and ethical production, many brands are responding by offering more responsible and innovative products. In the end, the best clothing brand is one that resonates with your personal style and meets your expectations for quality and impact.
