We love Bridgerton lmao, and Queen Charlotte gave us everything we wanted. Honestly Shonda Rhimes is a genius and I wish we got more episodes!

George and Charlotte had magnificent chemistry and the way they were together was ❤️❤️ I loved getting her backstory, and that final episode with them under the bed together absolutely destroyed me 😭

Lady Danbury stays being perfection, although I will admit that her affair with Lord Ledger annoyed me a little bit....was it really necessary to have a storyline about how Agatha was two steps away from being Violet's step-mum? Other than that she was incredible and probably my favorite character of the season. I'm so glad her husband died, and Coral was so great!

Idk what magic Hollywood has becaude there was something so ridiculously attractive about George in this show, idk if it was the facial expressions or how much loved Charlotte, but I was ready to die for him!

Finally I can't even describe how much I adored Brimsley and Reynolds. They were everything, both in their relationship and in their jobs. I hope we find out what happened to Reynolds because Brimsley dancing to "I will always Love you" but himself made me cry so hard and I need answer now.

Seriously, this is the best season of Bridgerton so far and it wasn't even a season lol. Even the social issues they tackled didn't come accross as forced which I really appreciate!

How A Mad Queen For A Mad King is going

The multi-timelines are so far

Younglings: back when Matilda, George and Reynolds were young, around the ages 9 to 20, it’s centered around the trio and Princess Augusta & George’s grandfather.

Sanity: Around George and Charlotte’s disastrous honeymoon, focuses on the deep relationship between George and Reynolds.

Together: After Charlotte rescued George from the doctor and they’re trying to live a normal life, also around the time Princess Augusta became ill, focuses on the relationships between George, Charlotte, Reynolds and Brimsley in general.

Unwanted: when Princess Augusta was fatally ill, also in this timeline Matilda is back in George and Reynolds’s life and also her family is introduced to the newest additions of the royal family, Charlotte and George has three kids at the time.

Aftermath: After Princess Augusta’s death, concerned about the decrease in George’s mental health in general, grief and trying to find normalcy.

Summary: A throw back to simpler days, when George was still a prince and he had the world presented in his two best friends.

A/N: Okay so, I might add throwbacks to this, cause, like, why not? And I know I'm shoving Matilda everywhere in this story but she feels like part of this by now:') Anyhoo, let me know what you guys think!

They were young and carefree, well, as carefree as a prince, a lady and a valet in training can be, they were no older than sixteen, sitting under the grand apple tree “you were screaming” George laughed, Matilda as well “I was not!” Reynolds protested, the three were laughing about a prank they pulled on Reynolds, he was training with the valet of Princess Augusta in order to prepare for when he is George’s, his training included keeping a straight face, Matilda and George would make that task quite difficult by trying to make him laugh or scare him to death, they succeeded this time as well.

“Besides, why is it important for you to keep a straight face? If you are to be my helper I would much like to have someone to converse and enjoy my time with instead of a soulless corpse like mama’s own” George sighed, Reynolds shrugged “I believe it has less to do with you and more to do with keeping your future guests happy, for example, when you negotiate with the future king of France over the prices of silk and food, I cannot roll my eyes or else it will be disrespectful from your side” Reynolds explained, the other shrugged “I don’t think negotiating prices is part of my royal duties” the other replied “I’m not quite aware with your duties yet, whatever you choose them to be”

The future king sighed “I don’t wish to be a king, I have seen Kings, their lives are cold and full of dullness, their represent perfection and I’m anything but that” he mumbled, Matilda and Reynolds knew what he meant but none dared to say it and upset him “well, the king can do pretty much whatever he wants, so… if you want, you can be a different kind of kings, you can be a king that finds beauty in imperfection” Matilda suggested, the other simply shrugged “besides, we will be right here by your side, to make sure you are excelling as a ruler and remaining George” Reynolds added.

Reynolds was brought into the palace when he was ten, Princess Augusta had requested a young boy of her own son’s age to keep his company, he came from a humble home, his father was a friend of her husband and after his death, his family remained loyal to the crown and helped the Princess through her grieving process. George was too young to be a king at the time of his father’s passing, so the throne returned to his grandfather, a cruel man that she hated with every fibre in her for the way he treated her prince, when she noticed King George the second grew weaker in the past few years, she commanded Reynolds to begin his training, as her son’s condition must not be discovered by anyone but his trusties, the bond the boys formed through out the years made her aware that Reynolds was the best option and the only one who would care for his well-being sincerely.

You’d been completely avoiding your stress that had been building up in the days leading up to your and George’s coronation. Everything had been moving so fast you had not even had the time to process all that had been happening.

Between moving to a new country, leaving your family and having to adjust to the royal way of life, you had not even had a moment alone in the past 7 days.

You realized as your ladies in waiting were preparing you for breakfast on Coronation Day that you were quite nervous. You’d battled with panic attacks since your childhood and today was certainly not a good day to have one.

Never the less, you tried your best to chat with Brimsley as you ate breakfast to distract yourself.

“What did you say the color scheme was for today Brimsley,” you asked. You could feel your hands beginning to shake, the first sign of an attack.

“Gold and red, your majesty. It is to match the crowns.”

You intended on replying to Brimsley but had to put your cutlery down as you were beginning to feel quite ill. At that moment, George and Reynolds also joined you in the room.

“Your majesty are you quite alright,” Brimsley asked you.

“I’m quite well Brimsley thank you.” George answered him unaware.

You brought your hand to your chest, feeling as though there was no air going to your lungs. You were feeling an overwhelming pain in your chest.

“Y/N…my love what is wrong,” George asked frantically, kneeled down to your level where you were sat. Your vision was more blurred that usual and his voice sounded far away.

Your heart was beating a million miles an hour and you felt like you were about to faint at any moment.

Your head was pounding and you felt like you were spiraling out of control.

Your breath came in short wheezes as the nerves that had been building in you overtook your body.

“YN your alright we’re all here with you.” You heard George say. He’d taken your trembling hand and interlocked it with his. His other hand stroking your cheek soothingly.

You could hear whispering around you discussing a doctor. “N-no doctor.” You choked out. You could hear some shuffling around you, what you assumed was most of the guards leaving you, George, Brimsley and Reynolds in private.

Eventually your vision cleared slightly, although your attack had not yet run its course.

George tucked a piece of hair behind your ear. “Darling, I need you to take some deep breaths. Can you do that for me?.”

You began your best effort to take deep breaths along with George and eventually they became easier.

“George…I cannot do this. I cannot- I do not have it in me to rule a country.” You began to cry, your whole body still shaking.

“You can Y/N. You are so strong, we’re in this together. You and me.”

“Yes,” you let out a shaky breath.

A few minutes of deep breaths and George’s continued encouragement and you were starting to feel better.

“George, I am so sorry-.”

“Do not apologize Y/N. You have nothing to be sorry for.”

“Does her majesty require assistance of any kind? A doctor or perhaps a glass a water.” Brimsley asked.

“A doctor will not be needed although a glass of water would be splendid thank you Brimsley.”

“My love, as you sure you are quite alright,” George asked.

“Yes George, I am feeling well.” You smiled.

The coronation was able to go ahead as planned and George was very supportive throughout the day.

That was the day that you knew you and George would have a very happy marriage together.

do you honestly want me to believe that neither charlotte nor george was aware of what was going on with reynolds and brimsley???

like it was not shown explicitly but i believe george trusts and loves reynolds. they seem pretty close. he would notice discreed looks and brief smiles. because reynolds is always very put together and the only time he is slightly not, brimsley is around.

and yeah charlotte might be too focused on her own dramas but brimsley is her right handman, and that woman loves a great love story. no one can tell me that she was not rooting for them.

like i'm 99% sure that;

*george and charlotte sometimes goes to bed early bc the yearning looks brimsley and reynolds are giving to each other is too much and they just wanna end their misery

*whenever charlotte and george is disagreeing on something, brimsley and reynolds are also having an argument and vice versa

*charlotte and george definietly orders bunch of wine and grapes to their room and then are like "we are going to sleep, take these wine and grapes yourselves they do not need to go to waste" and than they are very smug about it

*whenever george need relationship advice he goes to reynolds and reynolds will give these advices with such adoration in his eyes to the point george is also extremly fond of brimsley

*on the other hand while Charlotte actually likes reynolds, she is also a little jeloaus of brimsley's affection bc he is very dear to her

*when charlotte is angry at brimsley, she makes sure reynolds is too busy to spend time with him and that is the worst punishment

*ofc its very very unofficial and kept as a secret but charlotte and george trust brimsley and reynolds take care of their kids and they are like their godfathers and the kids love them

the list goes on. i am just very sure about these things, i just wish we got to actually see it. someone write some fics about Charlotte and george knowing and rooting for brimsley x reynolds pls

She elbowed him, then jerked her head toward something ahead of them.

George followed her line of sight. It was another couple, dancing.

Reynolds and Brimsley.

George put his finger to his lips and pulled Charlotte behind a hedge.

"Did you know?" She whispered.

"I knew Reynolds preferred men, but I didn't know about Brimsley."

Charlotte peeked out. "They look so happy."

George yanked her back so he could see. They were dancing like a couple in love. Reynolds was leading, probably because he was taller. They were laughing and whispering, and it occurred to George that they looked rather like Charlotte and him.

In love.
