Louis Fan Siu-wong
Fan is the son of Fan Mei-sheng, an actor contracted to the Shaw Brothers Studio. When he was 14, his father sent him to Xuzhou, China, to learn gymnastics and wushu.
After completing his studies, Fan returned to the Hong Kong film industry, and starred in Stanley Tong's Stone Age Warriors (1991). In 1992, at the age of 18, Fan portrayed the titular character in Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky, a Hong Kong film based on the manga Riki-Oh. He claims that the director and producers of the film met him at the Hong Kong Airport upon arrival and immediately offered him the role. Being a young, up-and-coming actor, he took the role without knowing what it was. He later said he was shocked to discover how bloody and violent the Riki-Oh manga was.
Fan was a contract artiste under the Hong Kong television station TVB throughout the 1990s, and he starred in several television dramas, including Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils (1997) and Young Hero Fang Shiyu (1999). He left TVB in the 2000s, and appeared in several Taiwanese and mainland Chinese television series before focusing on films.
One of his most memorable film performances in the 2000s was as Jin Shanzhao, the tough Northern martial artist in the 2008 martial arts film Ip Man, which starred Donnie Yen as Wing Chun grandmaster Ip Man. Fan's performance in Ip Man earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 28th Hong Kong Film Awards in 2009. He reprised his role as Jin Shanzhao in Ip Man 2, the 2010 sequel to Ip Man. He also portrayed a new character in The Legend Is Born – Ip Man (2010), another movie about Yip Man that is unrelated to Ip Man and Ip Man 2.
In 2018, Fan made his proper Hollywood movie debut in the film Attrition (2018) starring alongside Steven Seagal as an ally helping Seagal's character to take down a human trafficking cartel in Thailand.

Concept: Stranger Things but it’s based on 1990s nostalgia
1) Jonathan Byers is way into grunge music and spends his time filming random things like Ricky from “American Beauty”.
2) Eleven is basically Matilda but with an even shittier childhood.
3) Jim Hopper is a sheriff who is revealed to be some sort of cool badass (read: Leon the Professional). Also, he’s a smug dude who wants nothing to do with the supernatural (read: Rick O’Connell from the Mummy), he knows aikido for some reason (read: Steven Seagal movies), and he shoots with two pistols and drinks tequila all the time (read: Hardboiled).
4) Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Will, and Max are the kids from the Sandlot / Little Rascals / Jumanji.
5) Mike Wheeler is specifically based on Macaulay Culkin roles. He sets up traps in his house for the Demogorgon (Home Alone), he’s a reader who loves talking about statistics (Pagemaster), and he has a crush on Matilda-Eleven and is allergic to bees (My Girl).
6) Steve Harrington HAS to look like Freddie Prinze Jr. since Freddie was in like every 1990s high school movie for some reason.
7) Nancy Wheeler is Cher from Clueless
8) The Demogorgon / Demodogs is more like the velociraptors from Jurassic Park
9) As references to Winona Ryder’s 1990s roles, Mike Wheeler uses two pairs of scissors instead of a candlestick to defend against the Demodogs (Edward Scissorhands), Jonathan watches MTV and sees a documentary about Gen-X teens struggling with their place in society (Reality Bites), and Joyce says her least favorite character on the Simpsons is Lisa (referencing Winona’s role as Lisa Simpson’s rival).
10) Alexei loves watching Magic School Bus / Animaniacs.
11) Grigori is still based on Arnold Schwarzenegger but he’s a lot funnier than his 1980s counterpart (reference to Arnold taking on more comedic roles)
12) The Snow Ball song, instead of “Every Breath You Take” by the Police, it’s “The Sign” by Ace of Base
13) Instead of “Should I Stay or Should I Go” by the Clash being the song that Jonathan shows Will, it’s “Cherub Rock” by Smashing Pumpkins
14) Jonathan, Steve, and Billy are all stoners. Billy smokes the most.
(Feel free to add to the list!)

Gisele Bündchen thinks Tom Brady looks like a 'cutie' — but Twitter doesn't agree
yahoo
Tom Brady might have five Super Bowl rings, but that doesn’t make him exempt from being slammed by the Twitter fashion police.
On Monday, the New England Patriots quarterback attended the Met Gala in New York with his wife, Gisele Bündchen. The model wore a gold custom-made Versace gown. To match, Brady wore a black suit with gold embroidery and a black turtleneck.

While Bündchen got rave reviews for her sexy look, internet commenters were not as kind to her husband.

Is McDonald’s Szechuan Sauce a part of the Russian conspiracies?
Tumblr media
If you follow the money you will see that, yes, it is.
McDonald’s has long been a part of Putin’s many tangled conspiracies. Ever since they and Levi’s first realized how much money is available in Russia they have been extremely kompromat.
Tumblr media
American media has been unwittingly transparent on the Ricky & Morto szechuan sauce beat over the last couple of days. Do you think cartoon fans are rioting because they can’t get sauce or because they are Russian agents and bots? It’s clearly the latter but you would have to see the injuncted transcripts of the DOJ’s Senate Presidential Constitutional fisa warrant courts to understand the scope of the problems. They go all the way to the Supreme Court. RTARL has gotten ahold of the documents and can officially state that it is bad. Keep your eyes open!
