I did see spoilers for this particular bit of the movie, but I didn't know the actors got to wear the suits themselves until I saw the scene where they transformed into the other Riders. Helmetless scenes are super rare in Rider these days, even in henshin scenes.

Seeing Shuichiro in the Accel suit is so surreal though. Like I don't think I ever saw Minehiro Kinomoto (Ryu's actual actor) helmetless as Accel. Or even Shuichiro helmetless as Saber. You'd think the one time they'd get this guy into a Rider suit, they'd put him in his own...

Also why am I not surprised that Shuichiro is up to tomfoolery... where's his partner in crime in all this (by that I mean Ryo Aoki)

Honestly Takaya Yamaguchi as Blade is 👌 Idk why but it just suits him so well. And that's even with Blade's suit really starting to show its age.

I bet so many people were jealous of Wataru Hyuga though XD Knight is super popular for some reason, and a lot of Rider actors cite him as their favorite. And gosh, I'm not surprised, Knight looks really good.

I do wonder what the thought process was when they picked out the suits for the Riders. Like... why Accel for Touma? Why Black for Vice of all people?

Though I also feel like I've been robbed of helmetless Kento... he was the third rider, he should've been the one with Touma and Rintaro asdfghjkl

Ultraman Dyna will be released on DVD on November 16 via Mill Creek Entertainment. It’s the 13th installment in Tsuburaya Productions’ long-running Ultra franchise.

The tokusatsu series aired in Japan for 51 episodes from 1997 to 1998. Takeshi Tsuruno, Ryo Kinomoto, Toshikazu Fukawa, Risa Saito, Takao Kase, Joe Onodera, Mariya Yamada, Toshiaki Amada, and Hiroshi Tsuburaya star.

The set also includes Kazuya Konaka's 1998 spin-off film Ultraman Tiga & Ultraman Dyna: Warriors of the Star of Light and Masaki Harada's 2001 special Ultraman Dyna: The Return of Hanejiro.

The programs are presented with its original Japanese audio and English subtitles. No special features are included.

The Year: 2017. Humanity is facing new challenges and dangers as they have built settlements throughout the Solar System in their conquest of unknown lands during the Age of Neo Frontier Era.

The Super GUTS team is a seven person fighting force, as intelligent as they are courageous. Their task; to investigate unusual phenomena and protect mankind from overwhelming danger.

Without warning, the Martian settlement is attacked by a mysterious “Sphere” which transforms to an immense insect-like monster. I was tagged by my twin @lnc2 and I'm going to make two lists I suppose, one ML specific since this is an ML blog then one general. So for ML:

1. Love square (yall know ladrien and adrinette are my jam but I do view all sides as the same ship.)

I know everyone gets frustrated with Adrien in canon and love square has been losing face with a lot of people but tbh I always fix Adrien when I write them so I still love them a lot, and when they become canon I am going to transcend to a new plane of existence.

2. Myvan

They're just so good and pure. I adore them in canon. Ivan is so big and rough but he is also super sweet and gentle to Mylene and I die.

3. Julerose

I. Live. For. Toll. And. Smoll. Dark. And. Light. Gfs.

4. Chloluka

This one has crept up on me more recently. I liked the idea of it back before we had Luka, but I think his mellow attitude could be good for Chloe if she ever gets her shit together. I have plans for them in Lady Luck eventually that I'm super excited about.

5. Kimax

I know Kimdine is canon basically but like Kimax is so good??? Two poc, a jock and a nerd so in love and supportive and soft and I just, my crops are watered. My skin is clear. I am thriving.

1. Sakusyao

Aka Sakura Kinomoto and Syaoran Li from Cardcaptor Sakura. Listen, when I heard that they were continuing the story in Clear Card I had a fangasm because they are so. fucking. precious. The second movie in the anime was such life and like the tension and second hand embarrassment that I felt for those two was another level. Love square who? Weredad what? Move the fuck over and let me tell you about these two precious beans that one confessed their love to and the other didn't know how they felt but then she decided and they traded bears so that they could stay in love forever because he had to go home to China and she waited for him to come back and he came to visit and then their friends pushed them together at every moment possible but they keep getting cock blocked anyway and then they get thrust into a romantic school play together because the male lead breaks his arm and they end up fighting a clow card together and you think that Syaoran sacrifices his feelings in the end to save the day but JUST KIDDING HE DIDN'T and she literally jumps into his arms and declares that she loves him and I die. That was a long ramble but I have a lot of feelings. Don't even get me started on those two in Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle.

2. Amuto

Aka Amu Hinamori and Ikuto Tsukiyomi from Shugo Chara.

Now I know this ship is controversial because she is younger than him, but tbh their relationship is like such my jam. They sass each other, there's pining and denial of feelings, and not to mention Ikuto looks like a daddy but is actually a huge cinnamon roll and he doesn't try anything because she is younger than him and agrees to wait for her to grow up before they date. They're cute as fuck okay, and when she gets older they're gonna be even cuter as fuck.

3. Ichigo Momomiya/Masaya Aoyama

TMM was one of the first anime that I watched subbed as a kid. I remember waking up to watch the dub on Saturday mornings and my sister being like what is this garbage? Let me educate you, and so she let me read the manga and watch the subbed version and I shipped them so hard. Me and my friend have jokes that we need to find us a man as smooth as Aoyama-kun because hot damn that boy had game. "Oh, you have ears and a tail that pop out when you get excited/overstimulated? Here let me hug you and hide them." BITCH GOT MOVES.

4. Tohru Honda and Kyo Sohma

For anyone unfamiliar with it, it's a manga about hair styling and the main character comes from a family with a small hair salon and she is like super gifted at hair styling and there is a club of sorts at her school that is all dudes who run a big fancy salon where they pick a girl at school and give her a makeover and each guy does something different like nails, makeup, hair, etc and the guy who is the hair stylist (Shougo) becomes a super rival for Kiri because she is better than him and he knows it but he has a lot of pride and the downfall of his pride into begrudging admiration and affection was just so cute and satisfying to watch and they end up together in the end with little babies and their salons and it's super cute and I recommend you all read it if you can find it. I read it online forever ago, and if anyone finds a link to read it somewhere send it to me because I kind of want to reread it now that I've talked about it.

So there you go. I have so many ships and otps tbh, these were just the ones that came to mind first. I read a lot more as a kid, particularly manga which is why most of my general list is older. There are some anime/manga that I liked growing up that I have multiple ships in that I couldn't choose from, so some honorable mentions are: Hikaru/ Lantis, Fu/Ferio, Umi/Ascot from Magic Knight Rayearth. Ryo/Ichigo and Kish/Ichigo from Tokyo Mew Mew (I shipped all of them but Aoyama-kun was canon so). Nina Sakura/Hiroki Tsujiai from Ultra Maniac. Ash/Serena from Pokemon XY (yeah I shipped it, fight me). Link/Zelda. Kaname/Yuki and Yuki/Zero from Vampire Knight. Catradora and Catra/scorpia from the new She-ra. And just so many. I shipped a lot as a kid.

Tanggal 26 Agustus yang lalu sebuah acara TV di Jepang bertajuk “Showa vs. Heisei: Anime & Tokusatsu & Manga Hero, Heroine Top 20 – Timeless Ranking Chosen by 120.000.000 People” mengajak para pemirsanya untuk menentukan peringkat karakter pria terkuat dan wanita paling menakjubkan dari anime, tokusatsu dan manga sepanjang periode Showa dan Heisei. Angka 120 juta pada judul acara itu memang terkesan berlebihan karena sebenarnya acara tersebut bertanya pada 12.000 orang dengan 6.000 orang pria dan 6.000 wanita.

Dari jumlah tersebut, sebanyak 2.000 anak-anak, 2.000 remaja, dan 2.000 orang dari kalangan usia 20 tahunan memilih peringkat karakter terkuat dari periode Heisei. Sedangkan 2.000 orang dari kalangan usia 30 tahunan, 2.000 orang dari kalangan usia 40 tahunan, dan 2.000 orang dari kalangan usia 50 tahunan memilih peringkat karakter terkuat dari periode Showa. Periode Showa sendiri berlangsung dari tahun 1926 hingga 1989, sementara Heisei dari tahun 1989 hingga saat ini di mana akan segera berakhir mengingat Kaisar Akihito pernah menyatakan akan turun tahta.

Sushi Bites Back in New Monster Seafood Wars Trailer

  Sushi-grade kaiju��are preparing to terrorize Tokyo in Monster Seafood Wars, a new film from Minoru Kawasaki.

  The director, whose works include The World Sinks Except Japan and the live-action Laughing Salesman miniseries, also co-wrote the script and handled the special effects. The film follows aquatic monsters Takkora, Ikara, and Kanilla as they wreak havoc across Tokyo. The Seafood Monster Attack Team (SMAT) is dispatched to put an end to the fighting, enacting "Operation Seafood Donburi."

    Appearing in the film are Keisuke Ueda (Heine Wittgenstein in The Royal Tutor), Ayano Christie Yoshida (Nogizaka46), Yuya Asato (Kai von Grannzreich, also of The Royal Tutor), Shojiro Yokoi, and Ryo Kinomoto (Gousuke in Ultraman Dyna).

  Monster Seafood Wars premieres in Japan on May 25. A comicalization by Nobuyuki Hori will run on the Web Comic GAMMA website.

Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card (カードキャプターさくら クリアカード編 Kādokyaputā Sakura Kuria Kādo-hen) Sequel dari Cardcaptor Sakura buatan Clamp ini mulai tayang 7 Januari 2018. Ceritanya berfokus pada Sakura Kinomoto di sekolah menengah. Semua kartu yang dimiliki Sakura mendadak berubah menjadi kosong dan hilang kekuatannya. Bersama Cerberus, Yue dan teman-temannya mencari dan menangkap kartu transparan yang berulah. Dengan kartu baru ini, Sakura memiliki kekuatan sihir yang lebih kuat. Sequel Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card ini memiliki total 26 episode. Lagu pembukanya dibawakan oleh Maaya Sakamoto dengan judul "Clear" dan "Jewelry" sebagai lagu penutup dibawakan oleh Saori Hayami. 2. Fate/Extra Last Encore (フェイト/エクストラ ラストアンコール Feito/ekusutora Rasuto Ankōru) Anime yang diadaptasi dari game berjudul ate/Extra ini mulai tayang 27 Januari 2018. Hakuno Kishinami terbangun di dunia virtual dalam kondisi tidak ingat apa-apa, harus berjuang mempertahankan hidupnya di kondisi perang. Petualangannya mencari identitas diri di dunia virtual ini membuatnya menemukan teman dan juga musuh dan meraih objek misterius yang dikenal sebagai Holy Grail. 3. Gakuen Babysitters (学園ベビーシッターズ Gakuen Bebīshittāzu) Adaptasi dari manga buatan Hari Tokeino tahun 2009 mulai tayang 7 Januari 2018. Ryuuichi dan adiknya yang masih kecil Kotarou menjadi babysitter di sebuah sekolah penitipan anak. Anime genre komedi ini memiliki total 12 episode. 4. Gin no Guardian 2 Merupakan season kedua dari Gin no Guardian yang merupakan adaptasi dari anime Mandarin berjudul Yin Zhi Shou Mu Ren oleh Ling Meng. 5. Grancrest Senki (グランクレスト戦記 Gurankuresuto Senki) Merupakan anime dari adaptasi novel yang ditulis oleh Ryo Mizuno. Tentang dunia yang diganggu oleh Chaos, iblis dari dimensi lain. Untuk melawan Chaos, Crest digunakan untuk mendapatkan kekuatan super. Namun bukannya menggabungkan kekuatan untuk melawan Chaos, manusia malah saling perang untuk memperebutkan CCrest. Cerita berfokus pada Siluca Meletes, seorang penyihir muda dan Theo Cornaro ksatria pemegang Crest yang bekerja sama menghentikan perang dan menghancurkan Chaos. 6. Batman Ninja (ニンジャバットマン Ninja Battoman) Diproduksi oleh Warner Bros bekerja sama dengan DC Comics. Karakter di desain oleh Takashi Okazaki pembuat Afro Samurai. Menceritakan tentang Batman yang pindah ke Jepang kuno dan harus bertarung dengan musuh-musuhnya. Teman-teman Batman yang muncul Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin, Robin, Alfred Pennyworth, dan Catwoman. Sedangkan musuh nya : Joker, Harley Quinn, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Two-Face, Clayface, Deathstroke, dan Gorilla Grodd. Semua karakter itu muncul dengan penampilan samurai Jepang. 7. One Punch Man 2 Ada berita baik dan berita (kurang) baik untuk anime One Punch Man yang terakhir tayang untuk Season 1 di akhir tahun 2015. Setelah lama tertunda, One Punch Man season 2 akhirnya akan segera dirilis. Namun Berita tidak mengenakkannya ialah, Madhouse yang sebelumnya membuat animasi untuk season 1 tidak akan mengerjakan season 2, namun akan dikerjakan oleh J.C. Staff Studios. Proyek anime dari J.C. Staff Studios dikenal dengan anime-anime romansa dan anime klasik seperti Slayers, Revolutionary Girl Utena dan Excel Saga. Semoga J.C. Staff Studios bisa melanjutkan ketenaran anime One Punch Man karya studio Madhouse.
