Twilight Mirage is still my favorite fatt season, because it is exactly my aesthetic and also, Signet is there. This is still one of my favorite fics, even though I can think of many things that i would change upon a rewrite. I got a lot of amazing gift art from friends when I was updating it, too, and I treasure everyone who came to read it!! It is currently still the longest fic in the fatt tag, but not for long it does look like there is someone rapidly catching up with 74k on a 6/14 chapter fic. It was fun while it lasted! Unfortunately, twitter moments went kaput so I will have to figure out some other way to put all the wonderful fanart everyone made for me!

5. something you see in fics a lot and love

Regardless of fandom, one of my favorite things in fics is when writers use a lot of detail in one area just because they wanna. Just go ham and infodump. Absolute big brain and I love to see it, tell me about the eggshells tell me about the flower's unlikely discovery tell me about the sound of that specific engine, go off nerd I am sitting raptly.

8. you hope more people will come to appreciate ___ (a ship, a trope, an episode, etc)

I hope more people come to appreciate the full arc in the last four seasons of The Dragon Prince for the writing and plotting skill it displays. S4 established the new normal and set the stakes. S5 blew us out of the water and upped those stakes dramatically. We're all quaking in our boots for what's coming in S6, and S7 will probably murder us (affectionate).

The creators and writers of this show are professionals. This is their whole job, this is what they do. And as a grownass adult I'm gonna appreciate their effort and expertise and technical skills because it's hard work, and they're out here killing it and making it look easy!

i kinda ship quinntana 🤭 like in s4 i think they’d have a brief thing but realize they’re better off as friends. i also think it’d be a brief situationship type thing which is important. and then i like quinncedes (they dated in secret in s1 and then dated again during college/when they were both 21 and i can see them getting married too), quinntina / quinntike (started hanging out during college and dated after college and then got married!), and also out of all her m/f relationships i thought maybe quinn and joe could be cute? cause joe was genuinely nice to her and super understanding and well. many of the guys weren’t really great for her so.

all in all that’s like. 4-5 (5 if you count mike separately for quinntike)

quinntina i’m ngl. i feel like i think about it the most!!!! i just think it’s really cute and their glances and bg dancing in the show are cute to me.! but a very very very VERY close second is quinncedes of course because how could i not? they were besties in s1 and it was really really cute i wish the writers didn’t forget about them lmfao because they supported each other and got along and it was so. 🙁 and mercedes was so kind. i love mercedes

shit this is so hard. but honestly probably mercedes. mercedes being so understanding and kind to quinn in s1 when she was really going through it was so amazing to see. and then quinn comforting mercedes when cedes became a cheerio for a bit & helping her return to herself… they both just want the best for one another despite their differences and previous clashings and well. it’s just really cute and nice how much they love each other for themselves - their true selves! & my 2nd fav is quinntana. less meaningful stuff behind that though i guess LMFAO

15: worst storyline they had?

everything with puck. just all of it. awful. the random quick getting together in s5? awful. the writers totally glossed over/didn’t gaf about what puck did to quinn and i hate it. i hate all of it

30: the funniest scene they had?

when she was in labor in s1 😭😭😭 her mom coming up to her and apologizing and asking quinn to say something back and quinn just said “um. my water broke.” & then when she was actually having the baby and yelling “YOU SUCK YOU SUCK YOU SUCK” really took me out 💀

"live" blogging s7, vol 1 (some analysis, some jokes lol)

first off, I totally forgot there were other casa amor girls so opening the app to see them on the banner I was like oooo

the S7 MC isn't too bad art wise, like it's definitely better than I thought with the preview, but

I do think the skinnier size MC is super skinny and the bigger one is not that much bigger, which is a little disappointing (always appreciate more size inclusion). ideally I think there would be one more size up i think but I do understand that means they'd have to fix all the clothes 3 times.

speaking of clothes they've always been bad at the beginning of the season since like s4 and this is no exception. I wish we got more options in the beginning and then the others they tack on later

the skin tones really are only three shades with each having one warmer variation, which is kind of nice to have people get that option in tone, but I do still wish there were more shades variation in between (and darker ones in general)

for absolutely no reason I have decided that my MC is also gonna be the S5 MC from my first playthrough getting a second chance after a second failed relationship with Suresh (let's just pretend she didn't win her season lol) and she's cute in this style (but again i wish we had the right skin tone for her). I guess if fusebox is backing out of bringing back Eddie then I'm bringing my MC

Her name is Junie and she's doing a lot better now mentally and has gained a little bit of healthy weight and finally loves herself now so fusebox better not make an embarrassment out of her again.

this actually works out pretty well bc usually the casa amor girls on the show arrive at the same time unless something is special about one of them who can show up separately like MC does here (ok fine I've only seen that happen in LI USA S5 and I guess s6 of the game)
