FUA 35: Gloria Alves

Ok so. Just finished re-listen to ep 35, and yep, yeah Klein and Alves were most certainly very very gay for each other once upon a time. When? Unknown, could have been when they first were stationed together, could have been an on-and-off romance spanning years, with Klein always willing to take Alves back when she comes, and Alves always the first to leave, to decide this, little distraction, couldn't get in her way. Or maybe it's neither. Maybe it's two women, who through the use of alcohol end up in bed together. And maybe they try to pretend like it didn't happen, pretend like nothing there, but they just keep doing it. Am I reading too much into this? Yes, I most likely am. Is there more I want to say about Gloria, and how she should not be fucking charge, because gods knows, she trying, but she just making stuff worse? No, not even close. I just do not have the time right now to write a whole essay about how these two broken people need to get over themself, work together to run this horrible little hell pocket of a site, and maybe fucking bone. Started listening to a new podcast, smthn called Find Us Alive on Spotify. SCP podcast about site 107 disappearing. I love it, making me want to absolutely vibrate, it’s feeding the brain worms. Idk if there’s a name for immersive fiction podcasts/radio podcasts but I LOVE THEM SO STUPIDLY MUCH

Incident 6320-A On █/█/███, Foundation Site-107 underwent a massive dimensional shift, trapping all personnel inside dimensional anomaly SCP-6320. To date, attempts to contact outside help have proved unsuccessful. This is a must listen if you are a fan of scp. At first I was a bit apehenive as they have a autistic character and adhd coded characters, the fear that it would be like the good doctor made me a bit touch and go but as i get to see more of them i feel in love with them. What I see as the main character is a bit boring till he makes a code so they can keep notes, throw loops or reseats. There are some episodes that are so human that I feel like there are really more folks then just the main characters.

Why doesn't Find Us Alive have more hype around it? The writing and characters are so brilliant, it has you laughing one minute and emotional the next. So easy to get hooked on and attached to the characters, despite the batshit crazy events going on around them, the characters feel so natural and easy to love for so many reasons.

Even if you're not into the SCP Foundation, please give it a chance and wiki some SCP terminology so you can follow along.
