ok I finished New Tales in just over 24 hours and I LOVED IT SO MUCH 😭 I adored the characters, especially Anu and Octavio, I thought the humor MOSTLY (def not entirely lol) landed, which was more than I was expecting from initial trailers and stuff, and I loved getting to explore more lore about magical creatures besides just Vault monsters and sirens!

I managed to save every (heroic) character except one whom I don’t think can be saved (big sad about that 🥺 ) . I’m hearing there are endings where major characters are just stated to have died off-screen lmao and that’s wild

I gotta admit one thing midway through, tho… namely the random appearance of a certain old character in a certain role without a BIT of explanation lmao …COMPLETELY threw me off, and made it hard to focus on the rest of the scene bc it was so jarring. Who the fuck decided THAT was gonna be a thing??

Overall tho, I REALLY enjoyed this game. I’d almost say I enjoyed it more than the first one, because I resonated a lot more with these characters than the OG Tales ones. I WAS happy to see a certain someone crop up at the very end, though!

do people really hate the new post editor this much? i've been using it for a while now bc it let's me change the size and colour of text and post more than 10 images but apparently gifmakers are like threatening to leave tumblr over the upcoming change?? like i don't consider myself a real gifmaker i just do them for fun and my standards are obvs not as high as ppl who do it for real because i've been using the new editor and when i look at my gifs on my blog on desktop and on my phone it looks fine to me...but there's people who are like saying the new editor makes gifs look so bad that they're going to stop making them entirely and leave tumblr? buh? whuh??
