lookign at your tags on the physical fanfiction copies post and I just want you to know that like. I have beginner as fuck bookbinding skills ( think ‘hasn’t actually gotten far into it beyond gathering supplies and working on formatting’ beginner as fuck ) but like in the event I’m able to do this one I’m currently working on successfully SO has been one I’ve been wanting to ask if I could bookbind bc I want a physical copy so bad, like it is the fic that is single-handedly responsible for getting me into the tangled series and learning about vat7k

Oh hell yeah!!! Dude that's so cool! I gave bookbinding a shot a long while ago but I wasn't very good at it--i always used too much glue 🤣🤣

They were so far passed the line that Garrus set for himself. The one where he could compartmentalize what he dubbed his "unprofessional affection" for Six.

This wasn't even for the job anymore.

What had got them to that point?

Complete dumb luck. Attending a room party of their mark to steal back stolen black market goods... a quid pro quo Garrus had agreed to so his their little group could operate more freely in certain parts of Omega.

A deal cut by Six with Aria... a justified cost.

"I thought you said you could crack the safe?" he wasn't angry, he was too focused on keeping an eye on the security cameras tracking the mark through the party on the heads up display.

"I can-" Six's voice was the annoyed sort of clipped.

"You have 10 seconds, someone spilled something on our guy."

Garrus had her under him on the bed. Six's shirt buttons were open and his bottoms were shoved down around his thighs right under his ass. Her lips stick was smudged across his mandibles and his talon was tangled in her hair as they kissed... the door opening and the mark being at least gentlemanly enough to shield his eyes.

The two of them feigned the drunk newly weds, stumbling out embarrassed with the thumb drive tucked into Six's bra (Garrus was impressed). Those emotions simmered and upon coming back to their own room boiled over.

Far less frantic and hurried than what they displayed for looks, but Garrus cupped the back of her head, drawing her into a much slower kiss. That kiss led to the bed that both of them had kept on their respective sides ever night, stiff as boards and a border of a few pillows set up between them just in case... for propriety.

She made such pretty sounds as he laid her back in bed.

Garrus laid on his back, staring at the ceiling he held a sleeping Six in his arms. She curled into him and looks so comfortable against his chest. He didn't imagine he made a good pillow.

The artificial sunlight was starting to brighten their room, but he's been awake for an hour or two already.

Carefully he extracted himself from her hold, making sure to rest her head upon a pillow so hopefully the crick in her neck would fix itself before she woke for the day.

The sniper showered, feeling soreness in muscles he forgot got sore and tender... and with an overwhelming understanding that this changed everything.

Something to deal with once they made their escape from the cruise as it docked for the day.
