bonnie wore that ridiculously gorgeous purple dress in 3x14 (sh idk a canon) and while elejah were off doing their magical thing the remaining mikaelsons (bekah, klaus, kol) were totally hitting on her. actually i think i'll write a fic about it pls encourage me

Hc accepted! Bonnie went to the Mikaelson ball and the siblings couldn’t keep their eyes off her. Her and Rebekah became besties and had sex, the real love triangle was between klaus-bonnie-kol (tho a poly releationship is good). But u should totally write a fic on this. And ofc instead of having debekah fuck, have damon get some self-actualization, and you know what, also have Lucy Bennett in this story (I read an amazing bonlijah fic with their dynamic). Maybe add a little baroline friendship and have Bonnie interact with Esther.

Dev!! I so hope you're doing alright, I've been thinking about you a lot! I wanted to ask, do you have a specific episode/season of Shadowhunters (or any of Kat's other work, really) that stands out as your favorite or that you enjoy specifically?

oh man my favourite eps of sh haven't changed one bit. I'm still as in love with the eps I was when they aired way back. I will say I love Kat in like everything I really do enjoy just SEEING her face. But onto my fave episodes and characters she's played.

Clary Fray: obvs #1 and my fave eps are 1x07, 1x10, 2x14, 2x16, 2x19, 3x12, 3x13, 3x14 but like honestly in order my TOP 3 are 3x14, 1x10, or 2x14 bc the cutest episodes ever mostly ok.

Abby Walker: I absolutely freaking ADORE her in windy and I'm screaming. She's so good. The whole cast is so good, it has like 4 of my faves in it!!!! but Abby is just I LOVE HER!!!

Taylor Bloom: Listen Love, Classified was EVERYTHING to me. I adore Hallmark so much so Kat in one? HELLO??? STILL SCREAMING. So cute. So queer. 1000/10

Mia Smoak-Queen: Listen I love Mia, I'm still sad CW decided 3424 white male spinoffs were more important than Green Arrow and the Canaries ok. Mia was just so lovable and the way Kat talked about her? So special. Reminded me of how she was so excitable about Clary when asked. Clary and Mia just make her face LIGHT UP.

Harper Munroe: Happyland!!!! Love her in this!!! And Harper is such a doll I just!!! Such a fun show to watch!! And Kat had a ton of fun!!

Also while not my favourite favourite characters of all time. I did absolutely ADORE her in The Maze Runner Series, Finding You, Untitled Horror Movie, Trust, and The Stand. HER RANGEEEEEE!!!! Also her in both r.l stein movies was so fun!!!

I am so so SO happy that the show acknowledged - had Magnus himself acknowledge - this his magic is a part of him. He’s a warlock. He was born with his abilities, unlike vampires and werewolves. It’s a massive part of his identity, it’s like a third arm. It’s understandable for Magnus to grieve, for him to feel empty and depressed, and do everything he can to return to feeling like Magnus Bane again.

Also, Magnus is a Downworlder. Stripping his magic and telling him to enjoy mundane life is forcibly assimilating him into a culture and species (race? not sure on the nomenclature) and that‘s traumatizing enough on its own without even taking into account the violent means that Magnus was forced to surrender his magic.

I’m just really happy that the show is (for now) putting the emphasis on Lorenzo for taking advantage of Magnus than blaming Magnus for not being “happy” enough with a mortal life with Alec.
