Amity Park hates the Justice League but loves Red Hood and sometimes other heroes
A/n: I got this random idea so here it is. Oh, and this is good reveal AU ok?
-------
Due to the Justice League mocking them and ignoring their villain problems that were also publicly interdimensional problems, everyone hates the JL. It got worst with the GIW coming in, who blatantly went against the meta-laws (which included aliens, demons and so much more that weren't human from the beginning). They started to think the Justice League supported them.
In the Infinite Realms, however, there's a revenant that many adored and others respected. He did not hold back against criminals. Criminals that would rape, kill, traffic, sell drugs, and more to people. He especially didn't like when they brought kids into this. He'd avenge people the way they should've been: by promising that their abuser/killer/whatever wouldn't be able to do it again. And in the place they lived in, the only way for that to be possible was by major injury, heavy social outcasting, and/or death. Most prefer the 3rd.
And after how long the Amitians dealt with the attacks which eventually came to a slow once or twice a week type thing, they started opening their minds to the idea of coexistence. Well, further than they had. So when people started to cross over and start making their small haunts in their side of the veil, the Amitian's began to become aware of the popular hero Red Hood. He was part of the undead community, which was trustworthy in everyone's books.
So Amity Park started making merch. Most of it was for Team Phantom, but there was plenty for Red Hood as well. There were other heroes on the side, like for Superboy 1 (who they renamed to Supernova due to their hatred for Superman for 2 reasons, the obvious and that he rejected a mirror-born), and Raven (the half demon).
And with this coexistence, Team Phantom had noticed the positive feedback about killing in the name of vengeance. So they went on the offensive, and after a good year of that, the GIW lost funding for producing no results and just taking up resources. The acts were still there, but nobody enacted them in Amity, and nobody actually knew or believed them outside of the haunted city.
Then the Justice League find out about the hero group there due to tracking merchandise after they started to sell outside of the city. Superman was the guy everyone liked, so he was sent over. He immediately got thrown out and was now questioning who the heck Supernova was and when he rejected him.
Flash? Outcast. Everyone ignored and walked away from him. they had the police, who never did anything or even had to anymore, kick him out.
Green Lanter? Oh the poor guy. He had his ring taken away and thrown out of the city somehow. It took hours to find it.
Wonder Woman, they had to be ok with her. Not at first, but once Phantom had a talk with her and people learned that they were cousins through Clockwork (Kronos) and Pandora, they were ok. ish. Tolerated was the best word and she got the info back to the league.
The batfamily took a trip there, dragging Red Hood along somehow. And right when Red Hood was noticed, a crowd began to form as everyone practically worshipped him. There were many victims he had avenged and an Ancient (Lady Gotham) came and gave him the gifts she couldn't without scaring the guy.
At one point, the poor guy even cried.

who would've thought that an actor agrees to reprise a small supporting role and a few months later children are making hating him and his character into their entire personality and going as far as @-ing him in death wishes/threats against his character and apparently trying to get him to get more screentime on another show that would in no way diminish his time playing the original role.
this shit writes itself i fear.

noun
reparation for a wrong or injury.
[Image ID: two digital drawings featuring kingdom hearts’ characters Even and Saïx in a dark blue background, with an angled stylized partition in the middle that makes the left part of the image lighter. the drawings are lightly rendered. they are shown as if hovering, with parts of their hair and clothes flaring.
in the first image, they show their backs to one another. Even, on the left, presents most of his back to the audience. his head is down in profile, his left arm bent at waist height, his palm facing up, with his ankles crossed. the front partitions of his hair cover his eye, and his mouth is slightly open. over his lab coat, he “wears” his organization 13 coat on his left forearm, some fabric scrunched up in his right hand over his back and the rest of the coat draping to his ankles. Saïx, on the right, is shown from the side. in a 3/4′s profile, he looks at the audience with a blank expression and a single visible glowing eye. his right arm is slightly extended before him. with his left hand, he crosses his fingers over the little of his back. one of his knees is slightly bent as if taking a step.
The second image is the same, except Even is shown without the organization 13 coat. /End ID.]
Close-ups under keep reading!

Black Hat lunged at his counterpart, body contorting into a vicious conglomeration of teeth, smoke, tendrils, and distorted bone. An echoing symphony of shrill, unholy roars filled the room as the enraged demon carried out his onslaught, ripping into White Hat’s body with a fury unparalleled to anything Flug’s seen from him before.
And considering how much Flug's seen already...
I wanted to make BH way bigger but then WH would look too smol to see well enough haha
@ Nosy anon, I promise I'll come up with a proper actual snippet to respond to this one of these days, but in the meantime, have this random impulse drawing and a very very short paragraph of fic to go along with it lol?

someone posted about a "homesteading" conference specifically for women that was happening near me and i was genuinely interested bc i just like to learn about practical skills like that, growing food, building shit, etc. Usually those kinds of events are super male dominated and there's always some kind of conspiracy or political twist, like "preparing for the apocalypse after COVID vaccines have turned the entire population into zombies" or w/e so I don't really go to many.
so I put my name on the list for more info and found out today that only one part of the conference is exclusively for women and that's a "homemaking panel" 😒😒😒. and I'm not opposed to learning practical home skills at all but the byline of the info packet said "the American family is under attack" so unfortunately I think that's gonna be a hard pass

The dramatic irony of everything happening with Jojo Siwa is so fucking hilarious
First she exploits a disabled child -not hilarious- repeats the cycle of abuse that she was subjected to on dance moms with her own show, allegedly cheats on her girlfriend, etc, etc. then she goes through her “switch” and goes through her 14 year old emo phase at 20.
Tell me why this kid has the audacity to sing a song called Karma.
She tries so hard. She’s trying so hard to make it seem like she’s making the most dramatic change of her generation, she’s completely changed, no more rainbow glitter dance moms now we have emo sparkle darkness revenge fairy. She wants people to think she wrote Karma. She talks about her writing process, and she says how brilliant she is for thinking it up, but she also says that it was pitched to her a few times so we can’t accuse her of lying.
I think on paper this plan was probably a great idea, a chance to break out of her reputation for bows and glitter, but the execution is nothing but a disappointment. I think instead of going emo and taking inspiration from things she doesn't understand and being genuine, the switch honestly could've been welcomed with open arms but she's not genuine and she doesn't want to make a natural switch. She wants to be risky because she thinks it'll make her look cool or someone higher up decided for her and she went along with it because that's what'd make more money or maybe her mom made her.
Once it came out that Jojo didn't only not write the song herself, she wasn't even the first one to record it, that's when the irony of the situation kicks in. I know absolutely nothing about Brit Smith but she's and icon and I love her with my whole heart.
Brit Smith releasing her version of Karma and it doing better than Jojos is my favorite form of dramatic irony because of course this all happened to a song named Karma.

i feel like im also going crazy bc i haven't seen anyone address the issue with that one palestinian user who posted something horny or whatever and then these white bitches started calling him a porn bot like god forbid a human being engages in a normal human behavior. iirc he'd also had his blog for years so of course hes posted something personal or sexual at one point? it's fine for you to rb gay sex art in between your mental breakdown liveblog but if a guy living through a genocide dares to express a single sentiment that makes him an 'imperfect victim' then it's okay for you to dogpile on him and call him a bot!

gave it a bit of time, and I've decided that I'm gonna stop doing rp stuff on here. permanently I think
this post technically does count as ooc, but I'm not tagging it because there really isn't any reason to.
I'm gonna be changing my pinned and my bio soon
I'm doing this because of a few reasons:
I make too many ooc posts
i don't really find rp'ing fun anymore
i really don't know what to do with the story I've set up, and I can't come up with anything for the life of me
social anxiety makes it hard to talk to people, which makes it harder to rp
feeling burnt out from having to be expected to make in-character posts and then not making those in-character posts
hope everyone understands. I know that most people probably followed for pkmn irl stuff but I just don't really see myself being able to do that
from now on, this is no longer a pkmn irl blog. this is no longer an rp blog. instead, this is now purely a personal blog.
normally, this would be the part where I'd say thanks to all the friends I've met while rp'ing, but i havent met and interacted with a single person while doing this. so... thanks to all the people who've followed for that?
can't think of anything else to add unfortunately, so that's it for now.
if anyone's had my characters in mind for a big story-related event, then I'm sorry to say this but please choose other characters that aren't mine. feel free to retcon any previous interactions you've had with mine if you want to as well.
