I just rewatched Seeing Stars and I’m very suddenly remembering why Stolas was my favorite character before Ep 6 and 7-

Tbh the same goes for fizz BUT this post isn’t about him it’s about that ‘makeup’ ( cause I doubt it was actually makeup) that Stolas had when he was in his human form.

thinking of how blitz was the one saying "love" blitz was the one naming the feeling, like stolas has never actually said "i love you" in any episode

for all of blitz's emotionally stunted behavior, he's critically aware of what is between them and that's what makes it easy for him to dismiss it and repress it bc he thinks that "love" isn't possible for them, even though he knows he feels it. because he can identify it, he can shove it away easier.

no no don't talk to me. you're telling me that Blitz and Stolas both have pictures with the other of themselves smiling while the other doesn't? and those are the ones they each keep? you're telling me there is a tangible representation of their different perspectives of their relationship???

Stolas' pictures including a conscious Blitz looking away from the camera and Stolas. Blitz's picture including an unconscious Stolas cuddled up next to him. Because Stolas believes them on equal footing/the same page about what their dynamic is with Blitz just hating every minute of it and Stolas. Because Blitz believes they're on different levels entirely and that the only way he can be content is when the rest of the world (and Stolas specifically) live on without him.

Because Stolas and Blitz are both terrified of being/dying alone, but while Stolas would sacrifice his love for Blitz, Blitz doesn't believe his own love is worth anything to begin with.

btw my personal theory for what blitz is gonna do/say that makes stolas so angry at him is confess that when they were kids blitz was only brought to be his friend to steal from him. and not only admit this, but double down on the lie that this IS just transactional sex with absolutely nothing more beneath the surface by pressing in that point. that the only thing he's ever cared about getting from stolas is wealth; he was never going to be with him, he was never his friend.

i've been racking my brain trying to figure out what the hell "do you feel any kind of remorse for what you do?" could be about, since even if blitz insisted that he DIDN'T have feelings for stolas, i don't think that alone would make stolas angry at him considering how hard stolas is trying to give blitz a choice. but i think blitz TRYING to make stolas think that blitz purposefully led him on (anything to make stolas feel as small as blitz feels right now) might have that effect. and stolas loves blitz too much to actually confront him about it in any technical way (he's not going to demand blitz pay him back or whatever), but he is going to throw him out of the palace about it.

i also think it just like. makes sense narratively? we never got a follow-up of that day or even another mention of it, of what cash did with the riches, of whether they only hung out for the day or more than once, etc.. and when blitz was younger he might have been afraid of getting caught, but now he'd be so hurt and angry and, on some level, i think by now he considers himself strong/dangerous enough to think he could handle whatever consequences come from stolas learning this. and of course blitz would try to convince stolas that he and blitz never really had anything - king of ruining his own life and sabotaging his relationships on purpose, "i'll keep all my feelings right here and then one day i'll die," the guy who is so afraid of intimacy he'd rather people hate him than miss him - he'll take the offer of the crystal as stolas being done with him, finally bored of his impish little plaything, and not hesitate before lashing back with "fuck you, you're right, this WAS never something worth caring about. i used you for success just as much as you used me for sex. you are as unimportant to me as i am to you."

Helluva ships - featuring Radioapple

Mammon does in fact tattle to Lucifer about Asmodeus and Fizz's relationship. Let's say the Helluva timeline lines up with Lucifer and Alastor getting closer sometime after season 1.

Lucifer doesn't know why Mammon bothered, even if Lucifer didn't have whatever was going on between him and Al -- he still wouldn't give a fuck. And he'd give even less of a fuck considering Mammon was still committing copyright infringement for his park, the audacity of that man was astronomical.

Still, Mammon calls a meeting to spill the tea because even he knows Lucifer is a hermit who does not keep up with the drama of Hell's so-called elite.

Asmosdeus finds out and therefore Blitzø finds out. So they all crash the meeting to give Mammon what-for. Fizz and Blitzø because they've never met Lucifer and think he's going to be pissed. Moxxie and Millie because Blitzø lied about where they were going and refused to let them leave. Stolas for moral support (and he's also never met the King, sue him, he's excited despite the circumstance) and Ozzie because he couldn't stop them so he might as well join them.

Following multiple very unnecessary pit-stops and shenanigans, they finally arrive at the palace---and it's too late.

Alastor has already kicked Mammon out and now he and Lucifer are doing paperwork, gossiping, and fighting over the (according to Alastor) tacky interior design of the palace.

The Helluva gang bust in (Blitzø is on a horse for some reason, he's very happy about this) and it's very anti-climatic.

Asmodeus: so you...don't care that I'm in love with an imp?

Lucifer, dad mode: You're in love? I'm so proud of you!

Blitzø: Just to be clear, I'm fucking this bird, there's nothing you can do about it

Lucifer: Okay??

Alastor: Darling, they think you care about hell's hierarchy

Lucifer: Oh! Yeah, uh-no. That'd be pretty hypocritical of me considering [gestures to Alastor]

The Helluva crew leave the palace once Lucifer and Alastor start bickering again looking like they've escaped a hurricane, wondering if they should be sending the King of Hell a 'Congratz on the Divorce' card.

Moxxie: ...does this mean we have two Kings now?

I really hope Vassago is just going to be like the best friend that Stolas has always needed. He needs friends so badly that will have his back, especially amongst the Goetians.

these are a few heights i've personally seen (via 1 google search sjdhsjd) and i'm curious to know what people think. also the whole reason is because i realized Stolas is 7 ft and 4 inches (~224 cm) taller than Blitzø (based on pic below) and i need to know how fucking giant Stolas is and if Blitzø is smol

So we're all in agreement that the end of Full Moon is not Blitz or Stolas's fault, and is the result of years of abuse and neglect Blitz suffered from Cash (probably with trauma from the circus fire mixed in) and years of abuse and neglect Stolas suffered from Paimon and Stella right

Oh, so, like, the entire first season's establishment of the characters and their interactions don't actually matter in Helluva Boss. Okay, cool.

Like, I get that characterization develops over time and the writers come up with new ideas and places they want to take the story, but. So much of the Stolas/Blitzø stuff recently isn't character development: it's retconning.
