Awhile ago I read the fantastic fic 'something just like this' by @pipsqueakparker and Stolas' date outfit and makeup look in chapter 3 sounded so cute I had to take a shot at sketching it out! I'm not the best at drawing makeup so I went rather subtle with it - hopefully it doesn't look too bad 😭 I highly recommend this fic if you want 6 chapters of adorable post-Sinsmas Stolitz clinginess 🥰🥰🥰

Girl, have you ever heard of a character arc? We are in mf season two for a show that will be 5 seasons. We're not even at the midpoint. Three doritos ago, people were shitting on Blitzø for his emotional unavailability and lack of commitment, and now that his arc has progressed, he's everyone's favorite. How about you wait until the story is done to draw your conclusions? I know. Revolutionary concept.

Alternatively, if it makes you so angry that you want to shit yourself, you could just. Stop watching. And let everyone else enjoy in peace.

the helluva boss brainrot has started again and i am going insane ! the recent eps blew my mind and reminded me why i love the show sm and so now im rewatching it from the beginning for the millionth time lol. anyway here’s this attempt at drawing them sort of in my own style while still staying true to the show’s designs. i am actually really happy with this drawing and it was so much fun !! i will definitely be making some more interesting fanart asap 😈 stay tuned

thinking of how blitz was the one saying "love" blitz was the one naming the feeling, like stolas has never actually said "i love you" in any episode

for all of blitz's emotionally stunted behavior, he's critically aware of what is between them and that's what makes it easy for him to dismiss it and repress it bc he thinks that "love" isn't possible for them, even though he knows he feels it. because he can identify it, he can shove it away easier.

My brother and I have been yapping about Helluva Boss again lately and ngl, I'm probably going to just stop watching it at this point. Maybe I'll take a peek once s3 comes out, but if they especially keep going the way they have been I am Not Fucking Interested.

I'm kinda disappointed at myself for not spotting it sooner; I guess I was just dazzled by the whole show at first... but the writing in it is honestly just... abhorrent. The main ship is literally just slave x slave owner, where the writing paints the slave owner as the VICTIM. Stolas is an awful character and accidentally a realistic portrayal of an abusive person. Everything Blitzo has confronted Stolas about is correct and he has NO reason to EVER apologise to that mf. He needs to get out of there asap.

Then there's the misogyny. All the female characters in the show are just accessories to male characters with no personality of their own. Then Millie was revealed to be pregnant and that PISSED me off. She has no fucking character at all and now she's just, pregnant. Guarantee her having a child will be used to show how Stolas actually is a good dad guys!! he's a good dad!!! and Millie will just be sidelined.

Then not to mention the really shit villains, the show loosing it's focus entirely, and all the sexual assault jokes :)))

It is disgusting. Hate this shit.

I realize I'm preaching to the choir, but Bryce Pinkham deserves an Emmy just for his line reading on Stolas's first phone call as IMP's secretary. It's a masterpiece of walking the line between "this character is genuinely Going Through It" and comedy.

no no don't talk to me. you're telling me that Blitz and Stolas both have pictures with the other of themselves smiling while the other doesn't? and those are the ones they each keep? you're telling me there is a tangible representation of their different perspectives of their relationship???

Stolas' pictures including a conscious Blitz looking away from the camera and Stolas. Blitz's picture including an unconscious Stolas cuddled up next to him. Because Stolas believes them on equal footing/the same page about what their dynamic is with Blitz just hating every minute of it and Stolas. Because Blitz believes they're on different levels entirely and that the only way he can be content is when the rest of the world (and Stolas specifically) live on without him.

Because Stolas and Blitz are both terrified of being/dying alone, but while Stolas would sacrifice his love for Blitz, Blitz doesn't believe his own love is worth anything to begin with.
