Nar. It's just what happens when his whole ethos and self worth is tied to being better than other imps, and that they're fools for trying to build community.

Them refusing to abandon eachother, and just beating him all the time breaks his world view. And sends him spiraling.

I've known a lot of Strikers growing up.

Angry young men that hate the cards they've dealt, but don't want to work together to make things better. They just to punch down further, so they can be the ones exploiting their community too.

It's why he has to pick on Moxxie. The very non macho guy, who's queer in his affects. Like liking musical theater.

Who he mocks with the same sort of racialized language as Goetias use about imp. Small, pathetic and vermin.

Striker doesn't care who else gets hurt; as long as he get top be top of heap of imps. Pushing himself just a little higher at their expense.

He also doesn't care that he's working for the people who fuck over his people day in day out. Because he's only out for himself, and he believes he's the acception to the rule.

And while some of it is working for who's got the money. The other part is that he works with Stella and Andrealphus, because he agrees that all other imps deserve to be kept down. And kept to their own kind, with toxic masculinity policing of who counts as a 'real man'.

Blitz is right to call him a supremacist, he is.

He believes royals are better than other imps. And only he, and others he deams worthy, are better than the rest their kind. Not Goeitas.

Striker's also a just a bigot.

Like with Moxxie, his other targets are chosen because of social transgression. He considers Fizz and Blitz and Stolas be not being 'real men' either because of who they sleep with and love.

He believes that imps mixing with Goeitas makes imps weaker.

Working for Andy and Stella give him what he wants, the same as he's choosing Fizz as Crimson's target; to punish queer relationships that cross race lines.

Relationship like Fizz, Blitz and Stolas.

He hate this! Especially with Fizz and Blitz, cus he thinks they've slept there way to the top. And taken advantages he didn't get.

Honestly Stolas comparing his torture, to him and Blitz having fun together; makes it painfully obvious why Striker wanted this gig.

It's a gay bashing, with the added spice of punishing crossing colours lines. (Got to multi class your hate crime I guess🙄).

But yer the only thing any of the IMP gang need to do to drive Striker completely around the bend; is keep being who they are, and supporting eachother.

This undermines everything he believes in.

( Heh though I think he's own hypocrisy is going will drive him crazier too. With how he thinks of himself as the exception to imp rules, he'll definitely end up sleeping with either Andy or Stella, or both. Love to see that, despite what has happened, Stolas is viscerally uncomfortable with the rabid hatred towards Blitzø. To the point that you can see his pupils.
