what are ur dissociative/did HCs for shelby? :0

I HAVE. A LOT OF HEADCANONS. none of them are really "applicable" to canon yet, exactly, but they arevery very important to how I write them. I specifically interpret the Blot as an alter of theirs, the same way I interpret masky and hoodie to be alters of Brian and Tim (though I don't personally think Brian has DID, I do think Tim probably does, due to his background and childhood. I tend to stray away from hcing characters without abusive childhood backstorys with DID) but uhmmm. So I see Louse as something similar to Paul and petscop, if you've ever seen petscop? A fictionalized videogame retelling of real events that happened to Shelby. I think a lot of stuff is metaphorical in Louse and representative of what is happening to Shelby in real life, though yknow, it's not like I have enough canon proof to connect everything. But here are some of my favorite ideas/theories/headcanons

The Blot is very much a part of Shelby, and has taken up a lot of personality traits of theirs that they try not to act on. A lot of anger, a lot of resentment. I like the blot because it's written to be an actual feeling character instead of just an emotionless entity that wants the rot dead.

"Old friend" being the one who raised shelby, and also the one who gave shelby the Blot to me can be interpreted as passing down coping mechanisms. I love love to interpret it as the old friend showing Shelby his own coping mechanisms to deal with being part of the Rot, which feels like a parent teaching a child to dissociate and "steel" themselves in the face of trauma

And with both those things I like to interpret the Blot as an alter, a part of Shelby and something they can't function without. This is a bit of projecting but my own system really struggles to function without TWO alters at front, which is why I like the idea of Blot being around being the thing that stablizes shelby in the real world because it gives me the feeling of cohosting

I also think they canonically dissociate, like, a lot. The scene with the love of rot taking them and them losing conciousness but their body still functioning. The scene with them trying to "re-remember" sending their old friend off the mountain before the blot is like BOO THAT IS NOT WHAT FUCKING HAPPENED. The multiple times where they're having flashbacks and then "flinch" back into reality. They clearly have memory issues, and also lose periods of time. I don't think CANONICALLY they have DID, and I think a lot of the things I see as symptoms of DID in them can be attributed to them being the seed of rot attempting to literally be human and also have a whole seperate creature inside of them being like boo bitch fuck that rot. But I think that their symptoms are so similar that it doesn't really matter LOL it's the mindset I take when writing them.

I also think the blot can "front" by itself. I don't think the white/black frowny face is a coincidence that it looks very similar to many of the masks that Tim, Brian and whoe'ever Skully is don when their "alter egos" are controlling the body. I think that the Blot is not one creature, but many, that a lot of people may have. And I don't really agree with the fandoms idea of "being blotted" or anything, because I don't see Blot as an inherently bad force. Troy wagner tends to have one "BIG BAD" and then a billion lesser "bads" that are also against the big bad, and I tend to assume the "rot" is the big bad of eckvanet, where as the Blot, Andrew and Danielle are all antagonistic but have similar goals (think like how masky and hoodie are working against alex kralie, while also still being 'antagonists')

I'm currently rewatching MH right now because its been years so my headcanons might chance but. I DONT KNOW THIS FEELS LIKE INCOHERENT RAMBLING IM SORRY

bUT. yes. outlines!!!! honestly my outlines are mostly rlly simple/messy? it depends on how much i’ve thought abt the concept, but usually i just write stuff down so that i won’t forget to include it while writing the actual fic!!! :3 anything from plot points to dialogue to actions to descriptions and metaphors… again, it rlly depends!!! i don’t like making my outlines toooo detailed bc i feel like that can be kinda constricting? but i also want to make sure i remember stuff so 😭 it’s…. a delicate balance!!

here’s just a random example of one of my sugu outlines for reference:

buuuuut i also have some wips (like the wolf!sugu one!!) where i write out parts of it… randomly… instead of making an outline. it’s not something i see as very Smart bc it’s always hard for me to fill in the gaps between them :’3 but it’s fun in its own right!!!! overall i don’t think my outlines r. anything special 😭 it’s up to the writer how they wanna do them!! sometimes (Very Few Times) i get hit by inspo and write a lil drabble or fic with no outline at all… and that’s actually really nice. but it’s rare for me LMAO

ANYWAYYYY onto your second question!!!!! descriptions!!!!! I’M SOOOO HAPPY YOU LIKE MINE YOU HAVE NO IDEA 🥺 they’re probably what i like writing most…… wahhh it’s hard to give advice tho!!! it rlly does come down to the writer… i dunno if there are any things i really. keep in mind? while writing them… BUTT i love working w imagery!!! soso much!!!! and it’s especially fun when you let yourself experiment w them :3 there’s this One poem i like where the poet compares the stars in the sky to drops of milk and . stuff like that is so much fun!!! metaphors that r a lil weird.

so in general, imagery is an option if you feel like it!!!! another thing i like doing is to ’zoom in’ on small actions/details….. you can spend soooo much time describing a certain item but also just. a single line. same w an action!!! you have so much freedom when it comes to writing descriptions, it’s just a matter of what you Want to describe :3 i like. describing sugu’s voice………….

Hi hi hi hi Kyoko paints her nails under the gloves just so (according to her) “they’ll look nicer” (even if she’s the only one seeing them). But! Kyoko is not good at painting her nails so they’re very messy and uneven. Celeste somehow manages to view Kyoko’s hands before they’re dating and Celeste remarks about the nail polish. Kyoko explains to her very nervously and almost crying about it. Celeste just puts a hand on her cheek and says, “Kyoko, darling (/p but also like gay), you don’t need to hide this from me. How about I clean up your nails and we can use some of my nail polish? :)” This is when Kyoko realized that all the frustration and somewhat “obsession” she had towards Celeste wasn’t because she was highly doubtful and cautious of Celeste’s actions but because she was madly in love with her.

ALSO! I know you hc Maki as a Celesgiri bby but consider,,, Maki as a Mahipeko bby. I like to hc that Peko dyes her hair silver but it’s naturally black so it makes sense. You said you liked Sondam a lot too so uh Sonia has two dads (there are two kings of Novoselic). And they’re very protective of Sonia so she’s very nervous when Gundham is going to meet them for the first time BUT THEY ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIM THEY THINK THEYRE SO NICE AND SWEET AND PERFECT FOR THEIR DAUGHTER. Also since it’s likely canon that Gundham didn’t have a dad growing up points at him fatherless behavior /j the prospect of having two dads now (as soon as they find out Gundham grew up without one they were immediately like “you can call us dad if you want to :)”) is kind of overwhelming for him but tbh he feels really happy and almost excited about it.

Last but not least, Sayaka confessed to Mukuro that she was in love with him at some party Junko was having at the twins’ place as Mukuro was holding her hair as she threw up in Mukuro’s bathroom. She had had a a couple drinks and had a really nasty anxiety attack so Mukuro took her to her bedroom to help her get away from everything. Sayaka ended up staying the night in Mukuro’s bed while Mukuro slept on the floor. “Slept” cuz Mukuro couldn’t sleep after what Sayaka had told her. When Mukuro notices Sayaka wake up, she immediately blurts out “H-hey you told me last night that you were in love with me is it true or were you just having the worst night of your life and didn’t really know what you were saying?” Sayaka tells her that it was genuine (even though she wasn’t quite ready to tell her).

Ok actual last one but Enonami: Junko likes to hold and hug Chiaki on her lap and laugh evilly like those James Bond villains that would always be stroking a cat as they laughed evily

Ooohh, always love hearing about how someone becomes a fan! Its always similar but also it has different ways of it beginning if that makes sense. Like that's a similar way of how I got into kpop as a whole (it started with me seeing wonder girls why so lonely mv being on my recommendations on youtube and here i am lol) I got into svt due to a friend! I was hanging out with them on this site called rabbit (you get a cookie if you remember what rabbit was) and she told me seventeen had a comeback and asked if we can watch the comeback. This was for don't wanna cry and I said sure! Even if I am not a fan that doesn't mean I cannot watch to support right? And oh my, I was at awe with the choreography for the song. Yes the song was nice but it was their dancing that got me so shocked. Fun fact I used to think seventeen was a SENIOR group at the time because of how highly people talked about the boys at the time so I assumed they were, I mean their dancing proved that as well. I then was surprised that they WEREN'T so I was more shocked but had respect. Then I went to download a1 and the rest was history haha.

Sakura Tales book one

I wake up from sun's rays hitting my eyes I get out bed Chang and go in my living room and stare down streets as I see people walking and I give out a small sigh " life is lonely" I recently moved to new place and today starts my first day of school. I look at time " I must get going I don't want to be late ." I grab my stuff and walk my way to school look at sky " It's beautiful day out here not cloud In sky but yet no one to enjoy. I arrive at my new HS. My mother died of cancer and I now live with my father but he never has time to have fun or do something he is workaholic but I can't complain he only doing it to keep money up and helps clear his mind but as for me well I it's hard. I walk in my class as the teacher introduces me " class we got a new student coming in his name is Eric now I want you to give your respect for him." As the teacher sits he points me to empty desk I walk to it and I focus on lesson. After first lesson last through half day the bell rings and I get up till the teacher ask me to see him " yes teacher " " Eric my boy I want stay this school is happy to have you as I was looking at your records you are excellent student and have great work ethic I hope see best of in my class " " yes sir I will " " good now go and make new friends and join club we have lot to boost up your social " " ok sir " As I walk out of class I head to cafeteria but as I walking I bump myself into person we both fall " I-I am sorry here let me help you" the stranger lets me help as I look it was a girl a shy one I great her my name " I am really sorry my names Eric " the girl looks up and sees me but with a smile that I see before but can't remember when " E-Eric " then I remember in a shock scary way "H-Hyo" the girl looks and runs.
