Wether it's platonically or romantically, I wanna see Yoshida helping out Denji. Denji isn't the easiest one to help because he'll refuse it before thinking twice, he's prideful (specially now) and has been hurt one too many times to just let more people in again

It's different w Nayuta because 1 she's a kid she eats crayons and throws tantrums and 2 he. He didn't really have too much choice.

My Yoshida is douchy, kind of a jerk, egoistic and loves being annoying so OF COURSE he pushes himself in for his own amusement at first. No amount of money could make him try more than necessary to do his job tbh

I think all the chase gets both into it and suddenly denji is practicing on the mirror how to tell Yoshida to eat shit and Yoshida is asking for more money "for the mission" while looking for cafes and small places to take denji to

Anyways back to Nayuta because she's my favorite:

I really like thinking about Denji and Nayuta's relationship as something that slowly turns from fear to genuine care and respect. Denji definitely has trouble with her because of difference kinds of fears like general fear of her for being some sort of makima reincarnation, fear of what could happen if he makes a wrong move and fails her, or even fear of losing someone again

Yoshida ends up being some sort of awkward popup guardian and Denji finds really funny how he, the generally super confident suave pretty boy is sweating profusely when local 9 year old makes him try her special dish of glitter and dirt

By the time Yoshida starts to make his way inside the picture denji is a lot more chill about Nayuta, (small space to give a shout out to my friend's fic which is perfect and I genuinely love how she portraits their relationship and hehshdkejke sob cry sniff)

Idk what else to say but yeah I care them so deeply
