#i'm here to be OBNOXIOUS in the tags like its 2015 because at present i have no therapist and i've been holding in a lot of thoughts #so right off the bat i'm 25 years old and aside from 1 month when i was 17 years old no one has ever called me their girlfriend #and sometimes that lil nugget of knowledge is bearable but tied to that is the correlated fact that i have never received romantic love #which... wooooo! thats a real fucking bummer #and since moving out age 23 like i've been trying to meet people! put myself out there and go out on dates!#but i've gone on dates with nearly 50 men in less than 2 years and not a single one has worked out for longer than... 3mo?#i lost 60 pounds to try to be more conventionally attractive #and still absolutely no one finds me worthy of their love #and my dating app match numbers are dwindling and i'm beginning to fear that i've truly run out of options in my area #and so now what?#i just die alone?#thats what it feels like very genuinely like it feels like i put up the good fight but unfortunately i was always doomed to lose #i should just accept my fate as a lonely loveless scorned woman who cries at the faintest hint of compassion for her #nothing in my life has turned out the way i wanted other than having a dog #i was supposed to be married to the love of my life with a higher education degree and a small starter house for the family i'd have #i'm a degree-less single woman living in a 1br condo with an evil russian old lady neighbor and an income that barely supports my dog #look at me go

made some very minor rules updates! the main one :

i won’t fill out interest checkers or send in rules passwords; it just feels quite formal for what is, to me, a very casual hobby! if we’re mutuals, I WANT TO WRITE WITH YOU — & as king of pulling AUs out of thin air, there’s almost never a time where i can’t or won’t write with a particular muse. just assume i’m up for anything & i’ll communicate my boundaries if they come up!

i totally understand the appeal and, especially for folks who can be anxious about approaching others, the comfort of having it in writing that a mutual wants to write before reaching out, but — well, if i didn't want to write with you, i wouldn't be following!! please assume me following is me jumping up and down with glee at the prospect of writing with you. my rules specifically beg mutuals to send me unprompted asks / starters / etc., and that applies to all of you and all your muses! i don't need to know a ton about your muse / their fandom / their world etc to party hard, and some of my favourite dynamics have come about from somebody just chucking a starter at me and being like 'x and y are friends now and here's the starter to prove it.' i am always down, and trust me when i say that if there was a muse on your blog i simply Could Not Stand To See Or Write With the chances of me following you in the first place are ~ 1%

cant sleep because i cant stop thinking about how the mechanic was a bit of an asshole to me for no reason when i got my car finally taken in

#adw's ramblings #'i could tell your car's been sitting for a month' yeah i wouldve moved it sooner if it could. you know. start #'the sun here drains your battery you should be able to pick it up once i charge it' that car has been #jumpstarted five times in the last week and not once has it stayed alive long enough to leave the parking spot #three of those times it died while the starter was still hooked up and on #and one of those three times the starter was the tow truck (she didnt want to go into neutral so the driver gave her a quick spark)#(it was the most pathetic sounding attempt to start i've ever heard her make)#guess what i didnt get the call to pick up my car today #i know im 5'2" and look several years younger than i am but god can you not be so condescending #and like whatever its not the only time this sort of shit will or has happened to me i know #but im already stressed about the car and im not great at sleeping to begin with so this is like the cherry on the cake #i was baking until 11:45 last night in a dorm kitchen #but i dont have milk so i can't make the muffins or quick breads i have mixes for #and guess what i need to get milk.#a working car #not that i need more baked goods im not convinced my roommate and i can make it through the cake i made before it goes bad #i'm very stressed and anxious and a little bit angry and its all just. ughhhhhhh #if you made it this far down the tags uhh here's a cookie i guess 🍪#you can imagine it's one of the ones i made yesterday #or technically the day before yesterday since it's past midnight here

all the books i physically owned and read this year ^_^

#cin.txt #i read more but they were online (mostly manga)#if i included manga it would not fit this shelf LOL #but im pretty proud of myself ^_^#i went from i think 0 books last year to this HEH #to 24 books WHEEE #thats SO many i dont think ive read this much since i was im primary school #and the books are in order as well so the ones on the right are the more recent ones #in the beginning i kinda gravitated towards easier to read novels (the how to survive camping series was fun and easy to read since they #were originally stories on reddit so they were a good starter in getting me back into reading)#and then i just read like popular books that everybody seemed to recommend #and as i kept reading i could feel myself developing a preference for certain types of books which i liked <3 #i also think i had a good mixture of types of books WHEE #this has liek non fiction. ya. mainstream. classics. obscure. plays and poetrys #im excited to read more in the upcoming year c:#okay top 3. a man called ove. the complete maus. and... GAH IDK ok ok invisible women.#wouldve chosen on earth were briefly gorgeous but i feel like i need to reread it again since its been a while #bottom 3. before the coffee gets cold. feminism and nationalism. and they both die at the end.
