Preciso abrir meu coração... Quando abro meu coração eu consigo me expressar melhor. Nunca fui bom com palavras pois sempre fui calado, desde criança. Por isso eu sou fechado, porque nunca tive a oportunidade de falar o que sinto - isso eu já disse aqui neste perfil.

Depois de tudo o que aconteceu na minha vida eu voltei ao Brasil. Não moro sozinho, moro com alguns membros da minha família. Um deles é meu avô. Meu avô é idoso e infelizmente tem muitos problemas de saúde, a maioria deles sendo por causa da genética. Infelizmente ele está ruim, muito ruim. E ele é teimoso. Sabe aqueles senhores idosos que são teimosos e que não gostam de tomar remédio? Então, ele é assim. Acho que agora eu sei quem eu puxei. Voltando ao assunto. Meu celular não consegue contato com o SAMU (192). Liguei várias vezes e até coloquei crédito no celular, mas nada adiantou. Então liguei para alguns familiares para pedir ajuda. No total pedi ajuda a cinco pessoas. Não deu certo de chamar o SAMU (192), por isso, peguei a bicicleta e fui até a casa do meu tio. Expliquei a situação e ele disse que iria ajudar. Ele disse que iria conversar com algumas pessoas bem próximas a nós e pedir ajuda, pois, segundo ele, o celular dele também não conseguia entrar em contato com o SAMU (192).

Voltei para casa e verifiquei como meu avô estava. Ele parou de tremer mas mesmo assim eu sei que não é um sinal significativo. Bom, minha mãe não tem condições, já que está doente. Minha tia está em outra cidade. Mas o meu tio veio até em casa. Nada resolveu. Ele precisaria ser levado à força para o hospital.

Liguei então para o Corpo de Bombeiros (193) mas eles disseram que não está dentro do regulamento forçar um paciente ir ao hospital. O que acho um absurdo e explico o por quê na nota no final.

Eu não consegui entrar em contato com o SAMU (192), então liguei novamente para o Corpo de Bombeiros (193) e pedi para eles ligarem para o SAMU. O SAMU me respondeu e disse: "O único Móvel que temos está atendendo outra emergência. Você não teria como pedir ajuda a algum vizinho, amigo ou familiar e levá-lo ao hospital?" Então eu apenas disse que "sim" e agradeci. Eu não tinha expressão, já que, de toda forma, tentei ajudar meu avô.

No exército eu aprendi maneiras de socorrer algum membro da nossa equipe caso fosse necessário. Até aprendi a carregar alguém machucado e levar até uma trincheira, num ponto protegido, num forte ou outro lugar seguro. Minha vontade era de pegar meu avô à força e levá-lo até ao hospital... Mas, eu não consegui... Eu não consegui nem sequer pegar pela mão dele no intuito de levantá-lo... Eu simplesmente não sei o que deu em mim. O que mudou? Antes eu era um combatente frio e seguro de minhas convicções. Mas, e hoje? O que eu sou? O que aconteceu? Por que perdi aquela coragem? Eu não sei. Só sei que ainda sinto um desejo forte de ajudar meu avô e de fazer tudo por ele. É algo que me move. É um desejo ardente de querer cuidar e proteger minha família.

Como eu disse antes eu vou explicar o porquê acho absurdo o Corpo de Bombeiros não tirar pacientes a força. Quando alguém tem crise psicótica eles tentam convencer a pessoa a se render e a ficar longe de qualquer ferramenta que ofereça riscos para ele e para outros, não é? Se o Corpo de Bombeiros atende e resgata esse tipo de pessoas, porque, então, eles não são capazes de ajudar pessoas idosas que não querem ir ao hospital? Agindo assim eles estão colocando suas vidas em risco, não concorda? E uma pessoa que deseja se s*¡cid🅰️r, então ? O Corpo de Bombeiros não rejeitaria atender essa emergência, não é mesmo? Estamos falando de vidas. Mas eu sei que o 193 dá preferência a essas ocorrências (psicose e swic¡d🅰️s) pois esses tem a tendência de machucar outros, enquanto alguém que não quer ser medicado oferece risco a ele mesmo. Não sei o que fazer. Não quero que meu avô venha a falecer. Eu me sentiria culpado. Preciso agir. Não deixarei que minha família corra riscos. Antes, na guerra, eu protegia, dava apoio e suporte a pessoas que nunca tive contato na vida; agora darei minha vida por pessoas que realmente vale a pena se sacrificar, que são a minha família.

The struggle got even more real

I’m not sure why I’m typing this here. Maybe because I don’t feel like I can really talk to anybody about it.

I’m genderfluid, so my gender identity changes over time. This is usually not a problem in my life, as the changes are often fairly mild, and most people don’t really notice. However, recently, my gender identity took a massive swing to masc. Maybe because I’m married to a person that seems to love me no matter what. Maybe because I’m far overseas from America, and it’s actually quite easy to find things like binders and gender neutral clothing (in China of all places, who would have throught?).

I had the money to spend on binders and more masc clothes, so I did. My husband has known for quite a while now that I’m genderfluid, but has never seemed bothered by it. But now, after having a frank talk with him about feeling more masc and getting the binders, he is massively uncomfortable. I told him that I wasn’t going to make any permanent changes to my body, that I wasn’t interested in hormones or surgery, and that sooner or later, the pendulum will swing. But he is still in a state of distress over it. He couldn’t even look at me wearing a binder tank top. He was edgy all morning until he finally blurted out, “Why do you need a compression top?”

What ensued was a discussion, that turned into an argument, which turned into me crying and shoving all my masc gear into the back of a drawer. He feels terrible about it, wants me to continue to wear what makes me feel comfortable, and he says he will find a way to deal with his feelings. But I don’t think I can handle him looking physically repulsed by what I wear. That alone makes the comfort disappear. How can I do something that makes him so upset? I depend on him a lot for my emotional wellbeing, and I don’t want to feel like he can’t bear to be around me while I’m wearing them.

I even got a STP device that was actually marketed towards women, just because I thought it would be fun. It is, but the arrival of it disturbed him even further.

He’s not a jerk. He’s very progressively minded, and he says he’s hating himself for feeling uncomfortable with my presentation. Part of me wants to scream at him that he should feel bad for being such an asshole to someone he claims to love, but I can’t, because I can see him trying, and I can see his distress that his own brain is making him feel something he regards as unacceptable. He WANTS to be accepting, but he can’t.

I don’t know what to do. This is not worth splitting up a marriage with a 5 year old son, that much I know. We still love each other. But I cannot stand to see that look in his eye, even as he tries to suppress it, that he is heterosexual, and finds nothing attractive in my masc presentation. I suppose this means going back in the closet, even at home.

I was so looking forward to going out on Tuesday to the SWIC coffee morning wearing my binder, finally explaining to the ladies that I’m not a “lady” per se, and just being completely out of the closet. I feel like a dream has been taken away, and I’m so sad.

I’m not sure if there even is a solution to this that doesn’t involve me suppressing a part of who I am, or splitting up with my husband (hard pass on splitting up, he’s a beautiful person, inside and out, and this is the first hint of him not 100% accepting and loving me just as I am). Maybe, if someone actually managed to get through this post, some words of encouragement, or some soothing phrases.
