पूरे एक वर्ष के लंबे इंतजार के बाद बृहस्पतिवार को सरोवरनगरी में शाम करीब 7.45 बजे मुकद्दस रमजान का चांद नजर आया, तो सर्व धर्म की नगरी नैनीताल में इस्लाम धर्म के मानने वाले हर खास-ओ-आम खुशी से फूल उठे। नगर से कैमल्स बैक पहाड़ी की ओर कुछ ही पलों के लिए नजर आए इस्लामी चांद कलेंडर के नौवे माह-ए-रमजान के चांद के दीदार से लोगों की खुशी का वारा-पार न था। इसके साथ ही साफ हो गया कि पहला रोजा शुक्रवार यानी जुमे के रोज से होगा।

The water of the stream is very cold.
