I was rewatch Minecraft Diaries S2E79 and OH MY GOD.

Aphmau and Katelyn are talking about Laurance's recent behavior, because this is when he starts acting weird and going off on his own. Katelyn was moving Sasha into the new village, and she said that she was acting weird about Laurance. However, Katelyn said something that triggered my aphblr senses.

"Something about her (Sasha) isn't right... almost inhuman. It's almost as if I'm looking at a doll."

Like. OH. MY. GOD. I feel like it means absolutely nothing, but JESUS. I decided to rewatch this SPECIFIC episode, while we're talking about the relation between Shadow Knights and dolls!?!?!??

After his tragedy, Kenmur didn’t think he’d ever make a meaningful connection again. His family was gone, his kingdom was gone, everything he knew and loved and wanted was gone. All because flames took it from him.

“Hello,” Kenmur’s voice was slightly rough from disuse, but the girl he was speaking to turned to him. Her hair was a soft white and her eyes a brilliant purple. She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, and just a look at her gave him hope.

“Hi there,” the girl smiled. Many people were smiling at Kenmur nowadays. 

The guard that rescued him, he smiled with pity. The townspeople that knew too much for his like, they smiled at him with unrecognition. He saw some of how they smiled at each other, bright, toothy smiles, warm smiles that reached their eyes and were heard in their towns. People didn’t smile like that at him. 

This girl, though, one who would later reveal herself to be Sasha, this first smile wasn’t anything like he had seen. Her smile was beautiful. It met her eyes completely, the brilliant purple looking at him making him feel like the most capable man in the world, her lips a beautiful stained red that made her seem assured despite her simple words.

Kenmur didn’t think he’d ever want to make a meaningful connection again. Sasha looked at him, and he decided he did while his heart decided he was in love.

My sasha concept art, trying to get better about not posting like finished or semi fished refs but. There’s her season 1, sk armor and season 2 design. For some context, I like to imagine that the way a SK dies ends up being a physical weak point. Sasha (death by lava) is not having a good time. Normally she illusions it with her magic to try and hide it but by S2 she takes the “i am comfortable in myself and i trust this strange woman to help me (begruding) so fuck it we ball”

I think that Full Shadow Knights can choose whether or not to show their red eyes. It takes a whole load of energy and a while to get the hang of it, but it's possible. That's why Sasha doesn't have red eyes, or Gene. They can't do it in the nether, but it helps them blend in when they're in the overworld.

Mind you, it takes A LOT of energy. So much so that I had to state it twice. They'll have more frequent doll symptoms, and even though they're immortal, they'll have to sleep eventually. It's just so draining. That's why most choose not to do it. Vincent can't be a reliable second-in-command while keeping it up.

Anyways those are my thoughts teehee :)
